Falling for Dad Jokes 10/17/25

Dave and Jenn talk about falling for some fun dad jokes.

We've talked about this a little bit before. We were
in a group chat. You and I are with our
buddy Jason filly All, and we like to send each
other dad jokes from time to time. Yah, And the
other day the dad joke he sent me, I totally
was like, oh my, this is crazy. You fell for it.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
I did, yeahok, line and sinker yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
He says.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Dawson, which is his oldest.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Son, had a homecoming Saturday. We spent five hundred dollars
on a limo for his group, but that fee didn't
include a driver. I was like, that's crazy, you're gonna
spend five I was getting mad, all right, getting mad
for him.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
It's like, dude, you're gonna spend five hundred dollars for
a limit and that doesn't even include the driver.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
And then what we do when we send these dad
jokes is we put the opening line, you know, at
the top of the text, and then we enter down
several lines so you don't see the punch line line
rather quickly, and so I open up the text and
then I the rest and it says, spend all that
money and have nothing to chauffeur It chauffeur. It's I

have nothing to show for it, okay, till I loved
that one.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
I thought that was a great one, and it did
get you. You totally hook line and Sinker really did.
Just like one you sent a couple of weeks ago.
I thought, oh gosh, what's wrong, what's going on? Dave
sent one that said, you know, sitting in the er,
and that's all I saw.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
And I was like, oh no, So.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
I click on it. As fast as I came, I'm like,
oh gosh, what happened. Well, the punchline was that I.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Said, I don't really want to get into the details,
but Dyson Ball Cleaner is a very misleading product name.
I died.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
When I read that.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
I was like, first of all, you got me, okay,
I was like, oh, Jennifer. And as soon as I
was like, oh, Dotty, that was absolutely fantastic.

I love that jokes me too.
