So he sent me a TikTok the other day and

So Heath and I constantly call each other mommy and daddy.

We've done it since Leo was born, sure, okay, And
we've just gotten in the habit. And I've noticed that. Obviously,
we do it when the kids are around, right, you know,
we say, hey, go find daddy, go go go get
mommy whatever. Yeah, but we've noticed that when we're alone,
maybe even on a date night, we call each other
mommy and daddy. And so, you know, I say yeah, okay, daddy,

thank you or whatever, like I don't even notice that.
I don't even recognize that. So he sends me this
TikTok of kids, really teenagers reacting to the mom calling
the dad daddy in front of It's so crapy. They
are so like disgusted with it, Like all these teenagers
(01:06):
are reacting terribly, and I'm like, I mean, I understand
what it sounds like.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
Not what it means.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
And probably you know, saying daddy a little worse than
he's calling you mommy.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Well, I'm sure, absolutely.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
But why is that? Why is that because I'm just
saying the word daddy.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
I'm not saying daddy, okay.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
I'm just saying daddy, okay.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
But I do I do like to mess with him
because from the movie Couple's Retreat, you remember that movie,
and uh, and the guy's a girlfriend when he's trying
to buy her a motorcycle.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
She's exactly exactly, she's like twenty, he's forty, and she's like, daddy,
what's taking so long?
Speaker 2 (01:52):
He is, I'd prefer you not to call me that
in public, and she.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Goes, I call my boyfriend daddy. So I have done
that the heath when we've been out and about and
we're walking around, I'm like, but I call all my
boyfriend's daddy and he's like, shut up, Jennifer, it's Someboddy.
