Leo is Ready for School - Meet the Teacher 08/21/25

Jenn talks about going to Leo's first ever Meet the Teacher... and how he's already learning new things.

Slrida te Pain It is low key one hundred with
Dave and Jin. So last night we had our meet
the teacher for Leo. Oh my goodness, this is crazy
because he's three, I know, I know, and he's been
at Top Todds since he was what six, no, twelve
weeks old? Okay, so same teacher that he currently has,

(00:24):
no Okay, So he's going to have a new two correct.
So he was in the toddler room with Chrissy and
now he's going to be going to the pre k
room with Miss Carrie and Miss Christina and now he
knows them because basically all the teachers know all the
kids because they have a lot of play together in
the gym. So that's a good thing. You know, they

(00:45):
already know Leo, they know his personality, they know him,
so that is a good thing. So we just kind
of walked in and checked out their classroom and they
kind of updated it and it's so cute and they've
got little areas, you know, different little areas for different
little thing and they're gonna have a circle time each
day and they're gonna have you know, they're gonna be
learning about their name, how to spell it, and they're

going to be learning about their friends' names and all
this stuff. And so on the way home, he's Leo
and I are in the car together and I'm just
quizzing them. I'm like, you know, buddy, what's your what's
your name? Uh? He goes Eo Eonidas and because he's
still working on his l's so he Eonias and I
was like, okay, and and your middle name and he

tells me and is the last name he tells me.
I'm like, oh, buddy, good job. And then I was like, oh,
what's my name? And he goes mommy? And I said,
but what's my real name? And he goes Jennifer. Oh,
very good. Nic He says the same thing for Heath,
says the same thing for Presley. And then I was like, buddy,
how do you spell your name? And he took a minute,
and I didn't want, you know, to try to help
him along. I'm just saying, if he knows it right,

(01:49):
have never asked him that before? And he goes L
and E and oh, yes, very good. Uh. And then
of course I'm like, can you spell dog? And he's
like no, But I'm like, good, you know your name.
That's all that matters your name. You can't spell dog?

(02:12):
Oh well, you know you got dogs. You know what
they look like. It's fine. He's so smart. He's gonna
go into pre k. He's just gonna be so smart.
I'm so fights grown up on your mama. Oh my gosh,
my little baby.
