So we went over to mom and Dad's for dinner
last night and Leo was not wanting to sit to eat.
He did sit for two seconds and took a bite
of pizza and then got back up right. And he
never like when we all sit down for dinner. He
wants to play with somebody, so he always grabs at you.
And he was like, come on. I'm like, buddy, I'm eating.

He's like come on. I'm like, oh my gosh. I
was like, fine, you go ahead and eat, and then
when you're done, I'll eat right. This is how we
have to do it, Terrible twos. It's super fun. But
so I follow him into the toy room and we're playing.
I was like, budd, you really got to eat your dinner.
He goes no, And I said you don't want pizza?
He goes no. I said you don't want chipiese? He

said no. He said you want cookies. He said no.
I said do you want candy? He goes no, candy.
I mean that was just an example. Candy. I was
just an example, buddy. No. I mean, you gotta have
pizza first. He goes, no, candy first. I said, Leo,
candy first. I said Leo, And they're hearing me. My
entire family is listening. By the way, they could hear

this whole conversation. I was like, Leo, no, I was
just saying that to see if you wanted anything to like, No,
we need to eat our pizza first. He goes candy first.
I was like, oh, Lord, forget it. I don't care
you eat candy first. As long as I can sit
down and eat my dinner. Sure, let's go get you
some Canda candy. Listen, I tell you, when you don't
have kids, you're like, oh, I'm never letting my kid

freak out in public. I'm never letting my kid eat
candy before their dinner. I'm never letting blah blah blah.
Guess what, when you become a parent, you realize just
how much you don't.

Care and how little control you have. Chris, when before
Sarah was born, I went around saying my child will
never be whiny. No, Sarah was the whiniest toddler of
all time.
