Local Shopping and Eating 12/18/25

Jenn talks about doing a little local Christmas shopping and eating.

Key one hundred with Dave and Gin. So yesterday we
did a little more Christmas shopping. Okay, are you done? Now?
I'm trying to get everything done this week so that
next week I can just focus on cleaning the house
for everybody that will be over, you know what I mean, right,
But I don't think that's probably gonna work. But that's okay.

(00:20):
You know, I'm a procrastinator, and you know, the really
stressful moments are where I shine. So it's fine. But
so Mom, Dad and I. I picked them up and we
went to the old Library tavern for lunch. Okay, absolutely
delicious once again. Their first time. This is their first time,
and it's like my fourth or fifth time. Dude. It's

flipping delicious. And I'm trying new things. I always love
to try new things at restaurants, just because I want
to try everything they have. Oh absolutely, And everything I've
had so far has been absolutely incredible. We've had their subs,
I've had a couple of other subs delicious. I've had their Cowzone,
absolutely incredible. They call it fold. They called it a
book fold. Yes, yeah, I just saw library themed. But

so yesterday I had what we've gotten Presley twice. Now
it is the grilled chicken caesar salad wrap. She ate
the entire thing both times. She never finishes a meal. Okay,
so I was like, oh my god, oh but this
is the liptus and it was. I had a yes,
absolutely delicious. So that was fun. We had our our

little date night or a little lunch date, you know,
and then we just walked up the corner to book Tenders.
Had to get a gift card there and was looking at,
you know, all of their fun little things that they have.
They have. That's where I get all my stickers that
I send the girl, Yes stickers. Yeah. So so yeah,
were checking out their stickers. They've got ear rings, they've
got jewelry, they've got you know, pins, they've got notebooks,

they've got journals, they've got a gender oh dude, seriously.
So it was so much fun checking out book Tenders.
Then we walked just a couple doors down to Orbit's
record shop because we were looking at some records and
some CDs that they have there. Swear to you by
any record. I did buy a record, but it is

a Christmas gift for someone that's neat, So I shall
not say what it is. It's been actually a really
cool record. I'm really excited for it. But yeah, so
we had our little local date night shopping yesterday. Does
anyone still have a record player? So what's funny is
that people are buying them now. It's a big deal
to have a record player anymore. And so that's why

I'm holding out hope for the CD player. I think
they're just gonna make it better and we're gonna get
CD players, especially back in our car.
