Speaker 1 (00:00):
After seven can stop. Oh it is key one hundred
with Dave and Gin. Hey man, you so I had
to have a crown done. Yeah, this is something they
told you a long time ago you needed, right, Yes,
(00:21):
And I feel like people dropped the ball and didn't
tell me exactly what to do. No, no, I will say.
So I had a root canal. Like I've had this
tooth in my head that has been bugging me for years,
I mean probably ten years. I've called it my sweet tooth,
right because it just always aches right, like okay, it
doesn't matter if I eat sweets or not, it aches constantly. Right.
So then they finally and they did several X rays
(00:42):
over the years, they were like, we literally find nothing
wrong with the tooth. It's fine. Well there must have
been a hairline, little fracture that. Finally they were like, oh,
we can't see anything, but if it's hurting this bad,
you should probably go check and see if you need
a root canal. Right, So that's what I did need.
I and oh my gosh, when I had the root
canal test, like when they did the and called just
to test and see if it was okay, So almost
(01:04):
came out of that chair oh. Even the dental hygenis
at the time put her hand on my shoulder, I
think because she thought I was coming out of that chair.
So yeah, so I needed the root canal. So I
got the root canal last October. They did say, now
you'll follow up with your dentist to get a crown
and I was like, okay now, and then November was
a rather busy month, so was December. January? Well, actually,
(01:28):
come January is when I broke the tooth off. Ah,
that's right. And then I was like, I called my
dentist and was like, yeah, hey, so I definitely need
to fix this and uh. And then he scorned me
and told me I needed to be more flexible with
my timing and so then I went to a different
dentist and uh. And so I found an awesome dentist
at Valley hellth okay, nice doctor Kara Smith has been
(01:51):
incredible to me. So I went to see a dental
high genis originally at first at Valley House at Felicity,
and I told her. I was like, yeah, I need
the cleaning, but I also had this toothio it's kind
of broken off. And she was like, oh, yes, I
can see that she is, okay, got it, So let
me bring in Caras. So she brought her in and
we scheduled the crown and everything. And I've had a
(02:11):
temporary in for about two weeks now, and actually the
temporary stayed in. It didn't pop off like you know,
some people are like, oh gosh, yeah, the temporary won't
stay out. No, it's stayed on the whole time. And
honestly it could have been used in studtleed the tooth
or whatever. But so I finally go back in yesterday
and they did get my tooth in and the crown.
And by the way, I mean, it's like perfect. It's
(02:33):
the shading of my teeth. It looks just like a tooth,
like not normal tooth. Now, does it feel exceptional compared
to my other teeth? Absolutely, it's smooth. It has absolutely
no flaws whatsoever. It's a perfect little tooth. She even
said she was like, listen, this thing is made of porcelain,
so if anything cracks, it's gonna be a different tooth
of yours, not this one. But I mean, everybody at
(02:54):
Valley House was so gentle with me, especially Kara, because
you know, I hate pain in my mouth. Do you know,
everything she's done to me and these last two procedures
for this crown, she has not had to numb me
up one time. Wow, And that's shocking. Yeah, that's impressive
because I hate pain in my mouth, I absolutely hate it.
And she has literally told me, she's like, listen, if
you feel any pain whatsoever, we can stop immediately and
numb you up. I have no problem with that. I
(03:16):
was like, okay, thank you. She was like, so you
just tell me. And she checked on me multiple times
as she's working on my tooth. She's like, Okay, how
you doing. I'm like, I'm doing. She's awesome. She is incredible.
She was so she made me feel so comfortable. She
was just she did incredible work. No pain, you rock.
Parah Smith. Now got that nice new crown. Now I
need for like six months ten years if you really
(03:38):
look at it that way
