Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, Yes, so I found a fun list of remembering
your nostalgic after school snacks.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Okay, this is going to be interesting. First of all,
I don't remember much from my childhood area. Yeah, I
mean I remember some things, of course, but like the
only thing I remember coming home to is like when
I was like really young, grade school age. Yeah, I
would get home not untill like four o'clock. And I
remember ThunderCats, my favorite cartoon at the time, came on
(00:29):
at like three thirty, so I was always catching it
right as it went off. It was so devastating every
day it happened.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Oh gosh, we brought up.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
That's probably six years old time.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
Gosh, and heaven, let me change it up here. What
I remember, we did walk home from middle school and
elementary school when I was old enough to walk home
with Jason, my brother, and obviously we live right in town,
but we would get home at about three three thirty, okay,
and I would turn on Punky Brewster Okay, love that girl,
(01:01):
and I would either have Vienna sausages with crackers. Oh
good oh, that was our goo to all the time,
or just like popcorn. We could we could make popcorn
in the microwave, but cooking was not allowed, you know
what I mean? But these are like, these are great ones,
and these are perfect for like when I go to
pick up Leo, I always have a snack and you know,
with me in the car because I know he's hungry.
(01:22):
He loves crackers, like peanut butter crackers, and they're actually
like coated with honey on the whifers, so they're flipping delicious.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
I always remember having those little sticks that you dip
in the cheese. Oh yeah, like little.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
But yeah, I remember those. These people, I mean, these
are a lot like these aren't very nostalgic if you
ask me. These are things we could totally have right now.
Obviously peanut butter sandwich, fruit roll ups, okay, bagel bites.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
Hot pocket, my kids are friends of old now.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Hot pockets were a big deal in our household when
we were younger. That was like the one thing we
knew how to cook, So we totally had a lot
of hot pocket.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
You know what was crazy about the hot pocket? It's
like very hot and different.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
Exactly what you're supposed keep it in that cardboard I
always did, did you really see? Jason would always throw
the cardboard away and be like, I dont know what
it tastes like. Crap.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Okay, I don't have to tell y'all. I remembers was
a big.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Fan famous Let's see those cosmic brownies. Do you remember
those chocolate mini hostless donuts with milk, Little Debbie Snacks,
the shark bites when I.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Was the kid's shark bites, saying yeah, I never had
My kids all had shark bites.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
I missed shark bites.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
No, we want those, Oh my gosh.
