You and I were talking the other day and you
brought up the game, the old computer game, the Oregon Trail. Yeah, okay, yeah,
I've pulled it up online. Jen, okay, and I am reminiscing,
and I remember back I want to say high school
for me, because that's when like people were really starting
to use the computer as far as the internet, oh yeah,
(00:21):
those things. And I remembered that I could be a
carpenter from Ohio stop. So that was the choice that
I made.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
I didn't remember that part.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
And then you get to go and put in the
leader of your wagon, and of course that that would
be me, And you get to name all of your
family members. Oh what? And then you get to go
on this Oregon Trail and you make money and you
spend it. You buy Oxen and all the things, and
hope you don't get dysentery.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
I mean yeah, and Jen yellow fever.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
Yes, I'm like, I mean, the graphics are terrible, but
it's awesome. It's so much fun.

Awesome.

Yes, you can totally play it right now.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Oh my gosh, I forgot all these questions. Many kinds
of people made the trip to Oregon. You may be
a banker from Boston, a carpenter from Ohio, a farmer
from Illinois. Find out the difference between these choices. No,
I want number I want to be from a banker
from Boston.

And then you get to choose when you leave, like,
you know, because you don't want to leave in the
winter because then all of you know, your goods and food,
you're going to go right through it, run into snow
and ice and all the thing. Yeah, back then a
lot harder to deal with even than now you And
I mean, but listen, it's fun. If you want to

I mean, this was the epitome of the Internet when
we were in elementary school.

For me, you know, I kind of feel like it's
still pretty amazing. I mean, I love it. I'm theil
for it.
