Speaker 1 (00:00):
So this is a topic that was trending on Facebook
yesterday and I just couldn't help but read these responses.
The question was what happened on a date that made
you leave in the middle of it?

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Oh goodness.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
And I'm gonna think that this is mainly towards women
because I don't know. And absolutely men could leave, sure
during a date. I just don't know what that circumstance
would be, you know, because a lot of times girls
might feel, you know, they might feel creeped out by
the guy.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
The guy might be too forwards, sure, might be a jerk.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
You know what I mean. Definitely soon my situation, I
didn't leave early enough.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
I should have left much earlier. So it was years ago.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
I was what twenty two years old, I think, Okay,
maybe even twenty one.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
I was such a baby.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
And I meet this guy out one night while I'm
out with my friends, and then we make a date
for the next week, all right, And I meet him
at the restaurant safe smart, you know, I don't know
who he is. I don't want him to pick me
up at my house, right, So I meet him at
the restaurant in Huntington. He gets dropped off and I
didn't know that until later I found out his mom

(01:11):
did drop him off.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Did and then.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
And then so we have dinner. It's all good, everything's fine.
He goes to pay and the card doesn't go through.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
That's okay. I'm like, okay, well whatever your man. It happens.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
And I even say i'll pay, it's not a problem.
He's like, no, no, no, no, you're not gonna pay.
I was like, that's sweet, but seriously, it's okay. So
he's like, no, I'll take care of this. He goes
up to the bar and I assume he's talking to
a waiter the bartender about paying his but I don't know.
Comes back with a beer and takes a drink of
it and he said, I kind of chokes on it,

(01:52):
and I was like, oh gosh, okay. He was like, yeah,
it's probably that shot of whiskey I put in there.
I was like, okay, that's interesting. Well, so he did that,
and then also he had money for the bar, so
he had cash on him.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Do you know what he did to pay for our tab?
I have no idea. Called his mom back, Oh how
did her come? And he got the money from her.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
I was like, oh, so this okay, So in hindsight,
ladies twenty twenty should have.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Left then, right, didn't, as.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
A matter of fact, get worse. Well, it got way
worse and a stupid situation. Girls don't do this. Okay,
Thank god, I'm alive. The guy was like, you want
to go to my buddy's house. I'm staying there anyway,
but I kind of need a ride there.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
You want to hang out. I'm like sure, so I do.
Oh my drive him.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
And by the way, it's a place not far from Huntington,
Okay that has had a couple of dead bodies found
out that way. Now, yeah, a really bad situation, bad idea.
But when we finally make it to that guy's house,
I very quickly was like, I'm going to use the
restroom and I called my friend Pepper at the time.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
She totally remembers this too, and I called her. I
was like, it went to voicemail. I was like, oh gosh, Pepper,
please call me back. I really need help her. Neill,
I need you to call me immediately. I need you
to tell me that something happened.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
I need to come get you. So she Thank goodness,
I mean the Lord intervened here she called at the
most opportune time. I had just walked out of the
bathroom back to where these two men were, and I'm
in this strange man's house at twenty.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Wine goodness, and she called me and I immediately bolted.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
I was like, oh gosh, my friend pepper stranded, her
boyfriend just broke up with there.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
I gotta go get her.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
I said sorry, bye bye.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Never talked to him again.
