Oh let's hear it, dude. We watched this the other night.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
I told he thought we were sitting down just till
I think it was even Sunday night. I was like,
you know, I just want to watch something kind of
funny but maybe a little thrillery, maybe a horror. And
he was like, you just threw way too many genres
that me, so maybe you should pick. So I go
on Netflix and I have saved to my lift list
something that just came out.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
It's not a new movie. It came out in two
thousand and five, all right, but you've never seen it.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
I've never seen it, and the trailer looked so good.
It stars Rachel McAdams and Cillian Murphy. Okay, so you.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Know this guy. You don't know, probably by the name,
but you know this actor. He's been in Batman, sure.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Dark Knight or whatever. He's been in Peaky Blinders. Yes
he's Yes, he is Anheimer too.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
He played his role.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
He's such an incredible actor. I've seen him in so
many things, but he's in this one, and boy does
he creep you out.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
So listen. It came out in two thousand and five. Okay,

Really spoiling anything. And you'll understand this if you watch
the trailer. I'll give you the rundown here. Basically, Rachel
McAdams is on a plane next to a man who
seems like a nice man, and you know, even the
turbulence kind of freaks her out, and he seems like, oh,
it's nice to you know, have someone that I kind
of feel warm with because we've been talking in the

airport terminal and now we're up next to each other
in the plane.

How crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
And then so so she kind of feels I don't know,
if you ask me, the relationship was kind of like, oh,
it's like a nice meet cute, you know.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Okay, then it turns dark.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Oh boy, and he says some stuff that you I mean,
it just makes your stomach drop. I mean, it made
my heart fall to my stomach.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
I was like, ooh, like threatening stuff, like.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Yes, but not not super threatening, but odd, you know.
I mean, she even said like thanks for distracting me
from that turbulence, and he was like, that's not what
I was doing. And she's like, oh, well then what
were you doing? And he was like just trying to
keep the conversation on you and your father, and.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
It's just like what, yeah, why, and then she starts
asking questions.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Oh, Dave, it is absolutely It gives me chills to
think about it now. I swear to you because he
is a creep show and this is something that could
probably happen in real life, right, so that's why it's
a creepy show.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
By the way, it's called Red Eye. Did I ever
tell you that? Goodness, I watched Red Eye back in
the day. Yes, I'm explaining this whole thing. You don't
remember it, and I don't, dude, you need to watch
it again. It's like years ago. Yes, I know. Gosh,
now I feel oldest crap, I'm just saying.
