Speaker 1 (00:00):
Gotta move this Technotronic nineties Z nine Key one hundred
with Dave and Jin. So I told you that I
was looking through Peacock to see what it offered, since
you know, my internet company can't save me money, but boy,
they can give me peacocks. So two years free, that
is true. When I looked it up, I was like,

(00:21):
oh my, I get two years of the streaming service. Okay.
So I was looking through Peacock. And you know I
love true crime stories and documentaries. I love learning about history. Okay,
but so I see this true crime documentary and it's
called Deep Fried Lies. Okay. So this was actually it

(00:43):
came out this year at twenty twenty five on Oxygen
Channel and so now it's on Peacock and it is
a documentary about a crazy situation that happened. Happened in Camden, Arkansas,
where a man who was a wealth man met a
realtor when he bought his house, and that realtor had

(01:05):
a daughter. Now the daughter was seventeen and the man
was thirty two, but that didn't stop the realtor from
playing matchmaker, and so they got together. And then two
years after they were together, well, this man mysteriously dies
and where does all that money go to her daughter,
to the daughter the realtor's daughter. They weren't even married,
she was just a fiance, if you will. But there

(01:25):
is so much more to it. There's also so that
guy dies crazily, like mysteriously, right, then two other people
that are connected to him die mysteriously. Then there turns
out to be a fake will that happened that was
not this man's living will and testament because it was
created five days after his death. Oh my, listen, if

(01:48):
you're on the internet, it's gonna track you. Okay, I
don't know what to tell you, and so I'm telling
you right now. This story the more and it's like
a a movie, like an hour and a half. Right,
So it goes through the whole documentary in one docu drama, yes,
and I could not stop. And I mean it interviews
all these people, and especially the woman that's connected with

(02:10):
the deaths, connected with the fake will, connected with the daughter,
connected with the man. It interviews this woman and boy
does she is she cocky as ever? She does not
think she's done a thing wrong. Get that, well, she does?
Oh so listen, But then stuff happens after she gets

(02:30):
caught and she's still don't believe she's in trouble. Oh nuts,
it's absolutely it's called Southern fried lies. Southern okay, yes,
Southern fried lies. I thought I think I said deep
fried lies. It's called Southern fried lies. So sorry, but exactly.
But I mean, and she is so cocky about it too.

(02:51):
She's like, like, when you're like she's getting ready to
be interviewed whever, she's like, now, y'all ain't gonna make
me sound like a hick, now, are you? And I mean,
it's just it's ridiculous. She is so just. I mean,
I wish I had her confidence for someone who's a
terrible person. I mean, I am telling you right now.
And so I tried to even look up the real
people that it all happened to, right, and I can't

(03:12):
find them on Facebook. But I found groups on Facebook
talking about like, oh my gosh, I live in Camden,
Oh my gosh, I know everybody and that's involved that
I did not realize it was this crazy. Oh my gosh,
it's nuts, and the way they shoot it is really good.
It just it keeps your hanging on. I did not
want to keep watch. I was like, I'll start this
and i'll finish it in a couple of days. It's
an hour and a half. Eck. No, I couldn't put
it to stop. It could not stop watch. It was

(03:34):
twist after twist after turn after turn. It's no. Okay,
Southern Southern Fried lies on Peacock or Oxygen channel. If
you have that, Okay, you've got to watch it. All right.
That is it for a day. It's gonna be gorgeous
by the way, fall weather, day fall not even supposed
to really hit seventy, like upper sixties. I love that.

(03:54):
Oh my gosh, gorgeous day. And joy. We'll see you Tomora. Yeah,
I have a great day.
