The Lincoln Lawyer (Series and Movie) 10/21/25

Dave talks about finally watching the Lincoln Lawyer movie starring Matthew McConaughey.

Key one hundred with Dave and Jen. You remember a
while back, I told you I watched the Lincoln Lawyer
series on Netflix. Yes, excellent series.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Yeah he watched that.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
Okay, there's three seasons. It's fantastic. At that time when
I told you about it, you said, I think there's
a movie.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Oh, there absolutely is. Matthew mcconaughhean, Oh my gosh, it's
so good.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
And I totally watched the other day. Dude came out
in twenty eleven. I believe. Yeah, and it's fantastic. Two. Oh,
it's so good. And it's Mickey Holler or Haller and
he is an attorney. Now it's funny because in the
TV show there are obviously several differences. Yeah yeah, one

of those differences in the show, he works with an
ex wife. Oh yeah, and then he works against another
ex wife and when they call him it's like ex
wife number one x wife number two. I think I
love that. Oh yeah, it's hilarious, was wonderful. I wouldn't
want to be but I started to say that sucks afic.

So funny that one works with him, one works against him,
and they're both fantastic. Anyway, the Matthew McConaughey movie is fantastic.
He has to pretty much figure out what he's gonna
do when he has a client, big time murder case
in which he realizes the dude's guilty. Oh yeah, But

at the same time, he wants to do his job.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
I mean, he's a defense attorney.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
To the best of his ability. Yeah, you know, you
don't want to go into court and lose either when you're.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
An attorney, especially not to someone who's probably killed someone
you know, and they might be upset with you at
that point.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
They might be, But it is so good, I'm telling
you so.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
The the series obviously has to be different than the
movie because it has to sustain much longer. And I
think that's why they have those ex wives, you know,
like that character.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Right, more juicy details. It is interesting.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
But I gotta tell yeah, I'm just so in love
with Matthew McConaughey that I absolutely love that movie.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
He is a good job, so flipping good in that movie. Excellent,
highly recommended. The Lincoln Lawyer anyway you find it, that's right. Yes,
