The Secret Halloween Decoration Competition 09/29/25

Dave tells about a friend who is in the middle of a Halloween Decoration competition with a neighbor.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
You love like spooky decorations, oh, waiting for Halloween and
all of that.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
I have a friend who put on Facebook year three
of the spooky competition between us and the neighbor. She says, However,
I have never spoken to this neighbor and they don't
know of this rivalry.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
But I'm starting to think they're catching on. This is fantastic.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
It's a year number three, and it's more of a
competition in my friend's mind apparently than it is an
actual real life.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Is it, Because I'd say they're catching on there, they're
starting to up their games.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
She says. We put our decorations out this year.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Their decorations were up in less than forty eight hours later.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
They added lights this year, so now our whole house glows.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
She says, we could keep playing this back and forth game.
Oh my goodness, how fun is that? And that is
hilarious competition going on. That's too funny. Our house is
better than yours. Oh word, creepy decoration.

Speaker 5 (01:26):
And I love that They've never talked to them.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
That's fantastic. Yeah, so they don't even know.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Yeah, it's going, but you know they're driving past each
other's out there, maybe even walking or maybe even looking.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Oh, exact binoculars look.

Speaker 5 (01:36):
Out the windows.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
They're like, oh, I knew it.

Speaker 5 (01:39):
They got their uh, I know, I get them out.
I never had that, but I totally get the rivalry.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
I'd want to too.
