You Cannot Have Donuts for Dinner 10/21/25

Jenn talks about giving Leo the option to choose what they have for dinner. It did not go well.

I was like, buddy, what do you want for dinner?
And he goes, should be interesting, I know. He goes, well,

I don't know, and I said, well, if you tell
me what you want, I might just pick it up.
He goes donuts. Oh, shoot, Gin, you're asking a three
year old. I know. I asked my husband and he
had no suggestions. And then I'm like, well, I'm not
cooking anything. It's already too late. No, I'm not doing that,

so I'll pick something up. But no, when he said that,
I was like, I can't very well go get donuts
for dinner. And trust me, I wanted to okay. I
was thinking to myself, yeah, that does sound pretty darn
gut Okay, a pirate cream fill yeah, now, but I
had to be apparent. I didn't want to be Yeah,
And I had told Presley the day before because Sunday,

you know, it was a rainy, nasty day. We were
staying in. We didn't leave the house once Sunday we
went for a little walk, that's it. But we weren't
gonna leave the house at all. We planned to stay home,
do laundry, chill out, and get ready for the week. Right.
And of course, as I go to take Leo for
his nap, I hear Presley say, Daddy, I want Starbucks.
And I walked back in. I was like, y'all, don't

need no Starbucks. Shut down real quick. I just spent
two hundred fifty dollars at the grocery store the other day.
We don't need no Starbucks. We don't need no nothing.
Now we don't have in this house. Okay, so yeah,
I could not very well go get donuts for Leo
for dinner, so I made him a peanut butter sandwhich
and I had some ramen noodles. Okay, that's how we
