Good morning, I'm producing my Grandma's.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
Okay, we are here for you. We're going to send
you the Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Be careful in the rain.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
There are spinouts and accidents everywhere. So you know, there's
just been a lot of rain overnight in most areas.
And when we don't get it, it just makes all
that built up oil slippery.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Some new new coat you're wearing a b I wore
a trench coat this morning. I love it.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Thank you. It's got some sparkles on.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
It, like sequence. You came in looking like Rick Flair.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Well so I've never worn it, you know why, because
it never rains in southern Californias'll be careful, and if

(01:25):
you are here in Burbank on the five northbound, we
are here with you.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
We see it.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Authorities are working to clean the accident was the four
Our producer Mic was in it. So yeah, pack your
patients and I just you know, go a little slower
than usual. All right, coming up, Coachella tickets are on
sale for you know, early tomorrow. If you've been before,

(01:51):
you can get them today. So it's kind of like
a little perk, a little work perk for you. And
we've got the latest one Jimmy Kimmel. So Jimmy Kimmel
is suspended indefinitely. Bobbye, you're an ABC responding to the
FCC ordering it, and Jimmy Kimmel has not spoken yet,
but we did get some insider information.

Speaker 2 (02:09):

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Cost one O three point five The Ellen k Morning
Show follow at official Ellen prist one of three point
five Inside Entertainment with Ellen.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
K, Well, Beyonce, The Weekend and Lady Gaga have all
made a lot of money off Coachella, but Justin Bieber's
ten million dollar paycheck is the biggest, so he beat
out all of them. He negotiated the deal directly with
a festival promoter without using an agent, keeping that full payout,
so no ten percent off the top and the Coachella
loyalty sale is on sale today, so if you've gone

(02:40):
in the past, you can buy your tickets before anyone
else and then general pass has gone sale tomorrow.

Speaker 5 (02:45):
All right.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Disney Plus is reviving The Muffet Show for a special
event featuring Sabrina Carpenter as a guest star.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
So this special showcase.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Kermit Ms, Piggy, Bozzi, Bear Gonzo and the Gang returning
to the Muffet Theater for Piety show the installments part
of them of his fiftieth anniversary celebration. And Jordan Hudson,
the girlfriend of Bill Belichick. She's twenty four, Jordan, Yeah,
she does it with a don Jordaan. Anyway, they begged
her to be on Dancing with the Stars, which debuted

(03:16):
this week, and she said I would love to, and
then she came with her demands. I think this is
what she does, right, She's like, yeah, I want that,
and this is what you have to do for me.
So it fell apart at last minute. She wanted full control,
She wanted to select her dance partner.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
This Bill Belichick's girlfriend.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
She wanted to manage her rehearsal schedule around Belichick's games
and avoid a storyline centered on their relationship. So producers
just said, look, sorry. So that's when they got Lauren
Jereggi from Photomony. Yeah, so it's not the first time.
So Hudson's desire for control also impacted other projects.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
She was supposed to be on Hard Knocks. They said, no,
she can't.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Even go to some of the UNC games because of
her demands.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
No, wonder Bill always has that look on his face.
He just can't take it. Doing yoga on the beach
with her the other day.

offered a gig in space, but he had to say, no.

Speaker 6 (04:24):
I'm not going to risk that for what like againness
well record something or other like, I'm not gonna I'm
not gonna risk my kids not having a dad.

(06:38):
coming in being in studio. We love it when you
help everyone with the South Line with their problems. We
got this talk back from Michael.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Hey, guys, really worried about my stepbrother. He's coming in
all this money and we don't really know where he's
getting it from. He has been buying us all these
lavish gifts, which we're really grateful for. He says he's
working as a gold trader. I'm just he's up to
no good.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
So to me, this sounds like this stepbrother is just
super sketchy and I'm wondering, like the family is feeling
the same thing.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
So how would you approach this.

Speaker 8 (07:14):
I would approach it from the perspective of needing to
maintain a connection, So it's coming from a place of
curiosity rather than judgment.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
But what if there's a worry in the family that
this stepbrother is into some bad stuff. He says he's
a gold trader, but he's working from home, rolling in
money and living a different life.

Speaker 8 (07:38):
Right, they don't recognize him. He seems different at his core.
Maybe they're perceiving that values have changed. And that's that's
scary when we love somebody and then we don't quite
recognize them.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
My high school friend, Mollie, she went to Italy. Her
dad was a wealthy surgeon. She went to Italy between
our junior and senior years in high school, and she
came back dressing differently, speaking Italian, smoking cigarettes. All of
a sudden, she was like this euro Mollie, and we're like,
where's Mollie?

Speaker 3 (08:13):
Like the girl with freckles who used to ride bikes
with us, She's gone.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
Now she's your Mollie out of some kind of like
a villain out of.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
A Bondo movie. No, seriously, we were like, I guess
we lost Mollie.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (08:27):
Well, compensatory grandiosity.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Oh okay, wait to me, that translates to you just
bought yourself a new life.

Speaker 8 (08:35):
You bought yourself a new life as a form of
increasing your self worth.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
Oh yeah, and it makes you feel important, this new
life that you bought.

Speaker 8 (08:43):
It's not about enjoying a new car or a new
new clothing. It's about I have these things. I show
them because it demonstrates what I'm worth and how you
want me to see you.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Wow.

Speaker 8 (08:56):
Okay again, it's about the people who love him maintaining
a and we do that with curiosity, not judgment, and
that's that's important to remember.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
Okay, no judgment, just curiosity. Good one, Thank you, Sarah.
Can you imagine being a diagnosed with compensatory grandiosity?

Speaker 9 (09:15):
Boy?

some hobby. Oh don't you have anything else to do?

Speaker 1 (13:16):
Wouldn't you just beg for someone to be that into
you that they just want to clean to you? The
number one turn off for men when it comes to
women is clinginess. You're Ellen KQ and A all right,

As careful as you drive, roads are slick. And we're
the LNK Morning Show. It's Therapy Thursday. It's also a
Friday Eve, so we combine them all into one because
we are your feel good show, but Therapy Thursday. So
we have therapist on staff, Sara Dash, and she tackles
all your troubles. And she was live with us earlier
this morning, and we did the l K Q and

(17:07):
A and we found out that men don't like clinging women.
Clinginess is like the top turnoff.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
Do women like clinging men? Heck no no, So no
one likes a clinger, is what we're learning.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
Yes, that's what we're learning. See, I guess it depends
what degree of clinging a little or a lot. So
a little bit I think shows affection, like you're into
the person.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
I guess just that the word is negative. Yeah, clinginess.
I got your stage five clingers. It's good to Nora. Nora,
seventh grade. All right, Nora, thank you so much for
calling us before the bell. So we're talking about clingers.
You're not so much into them. You have a classmate
who you're struggling with. Why don't you tell us about her?

Speaker 9 (18:01):
I mean, she's the type of person that clings to you,
and when you want to talk to other people and
hang out with other people too, so that everyone else
doesn't feel left out, she just said okay and just
pools you aside and then decides to talk to you
when you don't want to.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
Oh so she's super like possessive and like a jealous friend. Yeah,
huh huh.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
Well, is there any way that maybe like the rest
of you could get together and kind of swarm her
and make her feel like she's part of everyone else,
and then maybe she won't single out you to cling to.

Speaker 9 (18:39):
Yes, that's what my mom said, but the problem with
this girl is she likes people like I think she
used to be a bully and she used to bully people.
And she is the best friend that gets like in
trouble and stuff like that a lot. So I guess
I would say trouble makers. Yeah, she likes people like that.

(18:59):
But I'm a very kind person, so I don't want
to make anyone feel bad like that.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
Yeah, no, I understand.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
And you know, look, you don't want to hang out
with a bully because then other people will be like,
why are she hanging out with the bully. I'm just
wondering if there's any way to soften a bully, you
know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (19:17):
Yeah, like, maybe soften her in your way, make her
kind again.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
Pull her to the light side. I think if you do,
we're getting any back up. It's gonna have to be
all for one.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
Yep.

Speaker 9 (19:28):
Yeah, she can be nice sometimes, but not all the time.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
Well that's Nora, Thank you, and thank you for coming
to us for advice, because you can.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
You can soften a bully. You can.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
You can work on this and do it with all
your friends. This is I believe when someone is acting
out that they're crying for help and love and that's
always the answer, right, So I think that we need
to gather around and this clinger slash bully, slash, I
don't know what else, jelous person, and just show her

(20:04):
that that you care about her. I think I think
that that would be good. All right, and thank you
so much. In order for calling us on a therapy Thursday,
we also have your Halloween time four packs day are
coming up.

We get so many requests and texts and questions about
the happiness hacks.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
We give them to you every single.

Speaker 1 (21:19):
Day early ish and with you, Ryan Manosoa, I loved
your hack today. It's about picky eaters and we all
know one.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
Of course, you know a lot of it at the time.
It's a kid. Are your baby right?

Speaker 3 (21:31):
He's picky, yes, very very picky.

Speaker 7 (21:33):
Not my kids.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
None of my kids had problems eating. This one gives
me problems. What does he want to eat? He just
wants fruit?

Speaker 5 (21:40):
Okay? What does he dislike the most? Like if you
give him something, he's like nope.

Speaker 3 (21:45):
Oh well we make anything else but fruit.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
This is why I'm trying to give him protein so
you can live right right, I could live scrambled eggs.

Speaker 4 (21:55):
No, no, okay, he's turning into scrambled egg He likes spaghetti.

Speaker 3 (21:59):
We're making him provement.

Speaker 2 (22:00):
Okay, that's good. I was a picky child eater, you
still are.

Speaker 3 (22:04):
I'm not picky. I just don't like meat. Is that picky?

Speaker 5 (22:07):
There's a lot of times I'll say, hey, would you
like one of these? And you'll look at it for
a second.

Speaker 1 (22:11):
Right, you're the least picky. You're the least picky eater
of all time. But now I'm just saying, I don't
think that I'm picky. I just don't eat meat.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
Okay, four oysters. I don't like this.

Speaker 4 (22:22):
There you go.

Speaker 5 (22:25):
My niece and nephew was with him over the weekend.
Like my nephew, Riley only wants mashed potatoes. That's all
he wants. Well, it's all he'll eat.

Speaker 3 (22:30):
I love that. I could eat with him every day.

Speaker 5 (22:32):
So we bring this up to say, parents of picky eaters,
you know, family members, friends, whatever, use fun stickers and
put them on the foods the kids don't like. So
you know it's like, oh, broccoli, Nope. What about bluey
and bingo brock glue trees?

Speaker 3 (22:46):
Yes, gluey tree. That's right.

Speaker 5 (22:49):

thought of him with this story. When kids leave home,
they move an average of four hundred miles away. This
was a big poll done nationwide. A new survey of
parents found that while half expect daily text from their children,
only about twenty percent actually received them. And kids do
move an average of four hundred miles away door to door.

(25:03):
From my door to Calvin's door, three hundred and forty
one miles, not that I'm counting.

Speaker 3 (25:08):
