Speaker 4 (05:23):
You guys gotta check engine light.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
So I don't mean to laugh. But that's the worst
of the lights. I mean I had the check engine
light on and then it would go off, so I
never got it checked and then it would come back on,
but then it would go off for like two weeks
at a time, so I thought, I don't need to
check my engine.
Speaker 6 (05:45):
That's nice.
Speaker 4 (05:46):
I wish I would go off.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
Yeah, I know, I know, I know. Like if you,
I got a little tip for you, if you look
at it long enough, it will go away. Okay, manifested, Yeah,
that's my solution. Oh boy, okay, Well do you get
a loaner or are you gonna wait? Or what's gonna
get what's gonna happen?
Speaker 4 (06:06):
Well, I'm gonna wait. I don't think it's anything really
too big, but you know, it just bothers me.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
Yeah, yeah, I know. It's one of those little things,
especially the holidays. You're busy enough and then that well
you got a thousand dollars, So enjoy that, all right,
and thanks for having us on in your ride with
that engine light on.
Speaker 6 (06:26):
Definitely, it's feel.
Speaker 1 (06:27):
Good Friday on the Lank Morning Show Coast one oh
three point five, and it's also a feel good Friday.
He's a good Okay, this is one hundred years of
a man named How. He's one hundred years young, and
(06:47):
How handcrafts joy, one toy at a time and Garden Grove.
So he makes all kinds of beautiful handmade wooden toys
like think old fashioned toys, like the kind he played
with when he was a boy. Undred years old. He
makes dancing ducks, he makes dinosaurs on wheels.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
You can almost picture him with like that rubber mallet,
you know, putting the wood into the other.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
Yes, every piece is made with love, laughter and a
lifetime of skill. He's a navy vet, a teacher, a woodworker.
Hall just says he wants to be known as a
toy maker. His garage turns into a Christmas wonderland. Just
one more weekend this weekend. And the best part, every
toy gives back to the man who made it. You know,
(07:31):
if happiness had a sound, it might be wooden wheels
rolling across his garage floor. So we want you to
support Hal, support local. How's garage will be open for
business one more weekend. That's this weekend, eight thirty to four.
We got all the addresses in Garden Grove on Paloma,
but we're going to post it up on our blog
at COASTWEO three five dot com. And better than that,
(07:54):
getting a handmade toy is getting a story. So Hal
loves to talk and tell you his stories, and he
can tell you what was it like one hundred years
ago or even ninety years ago when you were ten,
and did you play with this toy? So yeah, we
just thought we wanted to share how with you. He's
a Christmas magic toy maker.
Speaker 9 (08:16):
In real life, I used to make cabinets for kitchens
and things like that. But day are you hundred sixty
five days here? If probably were sitting out here making toys, well,
just keeps going.
Speaker 6 (08:27):
I like doing it.
Speaker 9 (08:28):
I read you.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
We like that you like doing it. Thanks Hall, thanks
for being it. Feel good Field Good Friday on the
ONK Morning Show. And let's make a call. It's holiday Hope.

someone that you know who is maybe suffering during this season,
needs a boost just to smile on their face, finding
life kind of tough, we'll make that call. So it
(08:53):

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Oh good? Okay, Dear ellen K Morning Show. Holiday hope.
My son is my rock. He's always there when I
need him, no matter what the ask. This year, his
wife gave birth to their fifth child. After four boys,
they finally got their precious girl. This year's been rough
financially for him, with the housing market being extremely tough.
(09:49):
This year, he took on a second job. He also
had to take leave of absence due to his wife
having the baby blues. He's an amazing dad, husband, son,
and brother, and he's always there to help his family
members in any way needed, even financially at his own expense.
I would love to see him getting some holiday cheer.
I know he's stressed out this year as he's maxed
out his credit cards just to stay afloat and make
(10:12):
the bills and mortgage. He doesn't want to disappoint his
babies during the holidays. Please consider my son for holiday hope.
Oh wow, Yeah, your mom wrote that well, yeah, she
wanted to surprise you and we have some stuff for you.

Happy birthday, Paulina. You never know who you're going to
see around. La Tyson Beckford also celebrating, and Jake Dyllen Hall.
You know, this reminds me of Taylor Swift. Remember those days.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
About that?
Speaker 1 (14:37):
Yeah, that was right. So she was saying that Taylor
on her Era's tour went through two breakups, that's how
long the tour was, and met Travis. Wow, is that crazy?
Like her touring life was robust, and then those Jake
Jillen Hall days and and Andrea Taylor So's mother said
(14:57):
the green flag for Travis was that he he loves
his mother. So that's why she encouraged Taylor so much
to like, let this guy in because he loves his mother.
You know he's going to be a good guy. It's
all you mama boys out there, way to go. Okay,
Jake Jylen says, what right not?
Speaker 2 (15:16):
I just I you see the wheel turn? Is it
some Calvin comment coming about how much you.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
I did even bring up Calvin you brought I was
actually thinking of you because you're a MoMA's boy. Okay, Yeah, yeah,
do what you love, know your own bone, not at it,
Bury it on earth. He's not a mama's boy and
not at it. Taylor Swift, I love you too, Kiss
(15:50):
