You have signed me up for something today? Oh right, yeah,
this afternoon, and I woke up in a state of
dread before my fee even hit the floor. Okay, there's
a place called training mate. You and I used to
frequent together all the time.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
It's all the time. You went one time, a couple
of times, Ryan, you w.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
That's not true. That one time is under representation. Okay,
we didn't go all the time. Okay, so meet in
the middle.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
We kind of went once, but go Okay.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Was that the time you threw up? I did venture
out to Ventura Boulevard and laid down. I said, I
will be on the sidewalk. But today we're going to
the minutes class and I don't know how to feel
about it.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Yeah, so training mate is you know, it's cycles the
workout cycles high intensity interval training. So it's a minute
each station. There are ninth stations. You go all the
way through, you stop, you rest for a minute, and
then you do it again. So it's nine minutes, rest
for a minute, nine minutes, rest, nine minutes, and then
you get on the floor and you do your abs.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Oh as at the end, it's all stud city it is.
This is how it went yesterday too. Ellen goes Ryan
minutes tomorrow at training mate and I go okay. Within
thirty seconds, I got an email from them saying, your
friend signed you up for the.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Guests pass.

Speaker 3 (01:44):

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Thursday's weather lay so thanks.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Good morning. It is coast from a three point five
The L and K Morning Show. Hopeful morning's off to
a great, great start. It is time for your happiness
Hack for Life, Adrian, thanks for being here.

Speaker 5 (02:02):
Oh, thank you for playing a great too.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Yeah yeah, well we love doing it and we have
your having this heck for life. You have scuffs on
your furniture or your wood floors, it's got to be
your wood. Just take a walnut, a whole walnut, and
rub it out. Something about the oils and the walnut
really likes the wood and the scuffs and it gets
rid of them.

Speaker 5 (02:23):
Amazing.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Yeah, pretty good stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
And would you put the wallet in half?

Speaker 2 (02:28):
You can use a whole well, you know, yes, a half,
so you've got the whole nut. But then yeah, you
know like the part that you would eat the walnut half. Yeah, yeah,
I rubbed that things, rub it hard. Thank you very much.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
You guys appreciate you, and you're feel good.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Here on the L and K Morning Show Coast one
oh three point five.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Both people say it's inappropriate to have a work spouse.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Do you have one?

Speaker 2 (02:50):
This is new research that is just out.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
You and I have never doing the morning show together
here on Coast, have never really leaned into that work
wife or husband thing?

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Yeah, I know we haven't.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
You know what I did notice though, Seacrest did like
to refer to you as his work wife. But you
know what else I noticed? Yes, the second you moved
over here, he had a brand new workway. Thank you, Ryan,
thanks for that.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
So are you.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Saying that that he like divorced and then remarried all
in one day.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
All in one day?

Speaker 2 (03:25):
I think yeaheten Kost, tell us about your work spouse
and loyalty.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
We got.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Let's get right to Lou. We were talking about work spouses. So, Lou,
you say you've seen it all.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
So I have been in corporate, I've been with you know,
with county, and men are always thirsty. They are never satisfied.
They can have Hallie Berry at home and they will
still look for that new club that just step into
the office and think everybody you know seeking attention. But

(04:15):
being me, I have never fallen for that. Never. So
when I'm done with work, as soon as that clock
is off, I go home. I forget about work. I
promise you don't get stuffed into it. Is my advice,
beer terming those if you want to there will always
be flirty people at work. Ignore it, go home, live

(04:40):
your life, be happy, never stressed out.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Okay, because what we're hearing there are a lot of
people who aren't ignoring and a lot of people are
diving right in.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Yeah, because people are never satisfied. They always think the
grass is greener on the other's side. They want to
have it and have their cake and eat it too.
It doesn't work like that. Things catched up to you.
What happens in the dark comes out in in life
every time.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Okay, Lou, how much of this just speculation? Guys? Do
you think actually happens at work? And I'm talking like
the physical.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
A lot, a lot, up to maybe like seventy five
percent out of the workforce.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
I was kissing, we love you, Lou, I love you
in the car on the at home.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
It's the L and K Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Coast one oh three point five past on a.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Three point five Good morning, It's the L and K
Morning Show. Happy birthday to you today for celebrating the
biggest birthday by far seventy years ago. Today Disneyland opened
their doors always feel good?

Speaker 2 (05:56):
All right, Ryan, are we ready? We are ready for's
some magic. I love what you said too. Take Disney
out of the equation. This is still a story that
is so magical and impossible.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
Yeah, it's hard to believe that this could happen, But
then you add Disney in and you go, okay, well,
this is this is something extra.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
So Melissa, thank you for coming out with us as
a little girl. You go by Missy. You have a
red felt hat with the Mickey ears like I can
just picture it in my head and we posted it too.
But it says Missy. You know what name braider? Your
name on the hat? Yeah, so special, And so tell
us where you first got this hat.

Speaker 5 (06:41):
Well, I got the hat in about nineteen seventy eight,
so I was ten, and it was on a trip
to Disneyland. I was born and raised in Anaheim, but
it was just today. We had gone to Disneyland and
I got the hat. I was obsessed with the Mickey
Mouse Club and my favorite girl it was Red. So
I got this really cool mouse Keutier ears hat.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
And then here we are years later, you got how
did you get separated with your hat?

Speaker 5 (07:07):
Okay, I don't know. It's one of those things where
when you're little, your parents just put everything in a
box and they donate it. And well, I left California
in about two thousand and one, and I was a
flight attendant, so I'd lived in four or five different states.
And this is where the weird part comes in is
we decided to move back west, and we thought, let's

(07:29):
go to Oregon and I went to I'm a good
will shopper. I have a Disney room and I collect
lots of Disney memorabilia. I worked at Disneyland and I
in the toys I saw this red Nicky ears and
I just grabbed it. I was so excited because I
had those ears. And then I looked on the back

(07:51):
and it had Missy on the back, and I'm like, this,
this is my hat. This is my hat. And I
had remembered I put my address in there on the inside.
I put my address on everything for some reason, and
it wasn't there. So I took it home and I
showed my husband. I was so excited, and he's like,
you know, on the inside there is something written here.

(08:13):
Get a magnifying glass. I got a nie fine glass
and and a flashlight and in little writing, it has
my old attress. I have my old address. And it's
the thing is I put the address on the front,
so my forehead had kind of made it really, you know,
wiped it off quite a bit. But it was my
hat I got.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
Thirty five years after you got parted with your hat.

Speaker 5 (08:38):
You're rewrited, yes, And I had been through I don't know.
I've lived in like six states. It's been twenty years
since I've been in California. And it showed up in Portland, Oregon.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
Oh my god, how did he get there?

Speaker 5 (08:52):
I don't know. And it's literally the best, the most
amazing thing that's ever happening, because if you think about,
you have thousands of moments every day, so when you
get the occasional coincidence, it just seems a little bit
bigger than it is. So this being so big was
really hard for me to process because how do you
even calculate the odds of something like this happening?

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Well, because they always talk about Disney magic. So that's
what brought your hat back to you all these years later.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Yes, yes, where do you have the hat now?

Speaker 5 (09:26):
The hat is in my Disney bedroom.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
Oh you have a whole bedroom of Disney stuff.

Speaker 5 (09:31):
Oh yeah, if I showed you, you would think I
was a little Disney psycho.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (09:37):
Oh yeah, what a story. I mean, how do you
process something that I said?

Speaker 2 (09:45):
It's Disney magic, It's a Disney miracle.

Speaker 5 (09:48):
Yeah, that's so hard. Warm. Thank you so much, as.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Always, thank you for spending your morning with us, when
we appreciate your ears and time, your love. I'm Ellen
k Gradma Home and we're the llen k Morning Show.
We will see you again tomorrow morning. But we end
every show with a quote and a kiss. Two rules
to live by never hate on anyone, never wait on anyone.

(10:15):
Kiss on three, kiss on me one two three, who
