So Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were on the red
carpet together last night. It's Kissed to the Spider Woman.
She sings, she dances, she acts. Ben is the executive producer.
So they got together. She was wearing a spider like dress.
I'm just gonna flash up this picture. It's not her
best look ever, but it suited the theme of the.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
Spider or other. Yeah, a little much.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
I know, it was weird. It was really weird. She
probably regrets it this morning, like, what did I wear?
Speaker 3 (01:02):
You ever noticed two bens of very He's a close talker.
You ever see footage. Yes, it's like always in people's face.
He's talking right, Yeah, he was right up in her face,
like inch, not even inches.

producer of that film. She read the script when she
was in bed and fell in love with it. She
was still with Ben. She sings, she dances. She said
this movie was made for her, Affleck praising her performance,
calling it the role she was born to play.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
And there's Grammy talk.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
Four Hunterricks Today marks one month until Grammy nominations are announced,
and there are expectations that Golden by Hunterricks on the
K Pop Demon Hunter soundtrack will be nominated for Record
of the Year. If that happens, Hunters will be the
first K pop act to be nominated for a Record
of the Year, also the second animated act to earn
a nomination in that category.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Pretty cool stuff.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
And post Malone just bought himself a million dollar tactical suv.
It's a luxury earth roam er, a high end, rugged
tactical suv for a round one mill. He posted a
photo of it which showed features like a key ring
with multiple keys and a battery keyfob.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
He drove to the facility.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Himself to collect the suv rather than having it delivered,
and in one of the photos, of course, there was
an open beer on a table and cigarettes, part of
a celebration of that purchase.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
Because he likes He likes to sit.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
In driveways or anywhere he can with an open beer
and a pack of cigarettes in a lawn chair.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
All right, let's talk Taylor Swift.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
She was on with Foulin last night, poised to break
the record held by Adel for most albums sold in
its debut week.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
She's approaching four million.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
For the Life of a Showgirl, she said she's no
longer miserable, so she does not relate to the tortured
poet society anymore. She said that was a miserable record.
This is a happy record. I'd agree too when you
listen to all the tracks. But yeah, So she did
great on Ballance, She talked about everything. She blew off
a popular fan theory suggesting she would retire from music
(03:27):
once she marries Travis. She called the idea offensive and
rooted in outdated stereotypes about women giving up their careers.
She said, I'm not going to do it. Never will.
Fans have speculated online about her future after her romance
and engagement.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
She said, I'm going to keep on going.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
Selena Gomez put it out on socials and on her
Showgirl Blessed to have you by my side almost twenty
years later, Gator, I love you, Taylor Swift, forever and always.
And then Taylor said to the National Parks Association, you
asked and we delivered. Would and that is one of
the songs on the track. Well, she explains how it
started out.
Speaker 7 (04:02):
I want to like do a throwback, kind of timeless
sounding song, and I have this idea about like I
got a knock on wood and we would knock on
wood and it would be all these superstitions, And it
really started out in a very innocent place.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
But then it got so filthy, and she said that
her mother thinks it's about superstitions. Okay, so Andrea is
Taylor's mother and she thinks the song is about super
Dona Kelsey knows better.
Speaker 8 (04:31):
Yeah, Andre Andrea Swift is like, oh, it must be
about knocking on wood. Read the lyrics and then Taylor
also talked about her engagement to trav He's.
Speaker 7 (04:41):
Just my favorite person I've ever met. No offense to
everyone else, ye, but the fact that the fact that
this is the person that I get to hang out
with every day forever is just like, that's.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
That's the whole thing of it. You look at that and.
Speaker 7 (04:54):
You're like, I didn't hang out with him forever and
this represents that.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
Ah.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
So sweet, She gushed over her ring that she looks
at it all the time. Yes, it's Coast one of
three point five.
Speaker 9 (05:05):

you guys on my ride into work.

nice to have good energy in this world, So keep being.

life here nail En K Morning Show.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Thanks for waking up with us.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
I don't know how you're gonna do with this, Ellen. Okay,
you're right handed, right I am? Do me a favor, yes,
put that coffee cup down it you just took a
sorry okay, no, it's fine. Do that again with your
left hand, just instead of your dominant hand.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Okay, how's that feel?
Speaker 10 (06:26):
Pick it up?
Speaker 1 (06:26):
Feel strange? It does?
Speaker 3 (06:27):
Okay, good, that's the point we are there's a new
study that has found that that we use our non
dominant hand to really wake our brains up, to make
us more creative, to improve your cognition, your motor skills, awareness.
It reduces stress and anxiety. To use in circumstances your
other hand.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
I do you want me to try lymphatic drainage? To
do it with your.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
On the left hand side. My husband gave me this
as a gift. It's a gold lymphatic drainage. Yeah, be
so good for you. Break it down your neck, your
limph glands. I still don't know where that and then
you take it up to the face. Oh yeah, got
my head. See anyway, it feels weird. I wouldn't do
that with.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
My I know.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
So instead of like writing or doing major things you
know that are important, they just say start small, like
eat with your other hand, plug things in. You know,
if you would use your right hand to plug something
and do it with your left hand, you don't even
know that it's helping you.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
That's so weird.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
Use a computer mouse with your left hand. Give it
a shot.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
Okay, okay, just wake it up.
Speaker 4 (07:26):

Top story is Toply Hour, Good Morning, I'm ellen K
and Sean Diddycumbs wants to pick his prison. He asked
a New York federal court to recommend that he serve
as fifty months setons at Federal Correctional Institution for Dixon,
New Jersey. His lawyers argue that low security facility near
his hometown offers a top drug treatment program. There is
cidential drug abuse program that could help him remain sober
(08:02):
and rehabilitate. They also say it's proximity to New York
would make family visits easier, so that decision nah still
being considered. Hey for tank is on or near empty
like mine usually is. Experts suggests filling up today. Last
week's oil fire at the Chevron refinery and El Segundo
will impact gas prices across the Southland. That plant is
our state's second largest producer, making one fifth of all
(08:24):
vehicle fuel here in California. Not only that, but forty
percent of the state's jet fuel as well. Analysts predict
a fifteen cent spike per gallon by tomorrow. So filler
up do today?
Speaker 1 (08:35):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (08:35):
Lebron James is set to make a major announcement today,
something he's cryptically calling on social media the second Decision.
The first decision was his choice to join the Heat
fifteen years ago. There are some theories that he's going
back to Cleveland to finish his career or and add
for Amazon Prime Day. He's going to make it at
nine am. We'll give you the latest. Ah, the Dodgers need.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
One more win.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
They beat the Phillies again on the road, which means
we're coming home tomorrow with huge momentum.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
How about that fine and all out.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
The Phil's had a chance to win it, but Freddie
Freeman did some insane acrobatics at first.
Speaker 12 (09:05):

this morning, we got cash on coach just ahead. Also
Taylor Swift on Fallon last night, she has a song
(10:18):
called Wood, and she says to her mom, Andrea, who's
very innocent, believes that it's about superstitions like knocking on
wood and things like that.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
It is not.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
It's not it's about anatomy, she told Fallon, And she
kind of didn't mean for the song to be so filthy.
Speaker 7 (10:37):
I want to like do a throwback, kind of timeless
sounding song. And I have this idea about like I
got a knock on wood and we would knock on
wood and it would be all these superstitions. And it
really started out in a very innocent place.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
All Right, Kat working hard, simply parking at Lax, says

Speaker 1 (11:00):
All right, Kat, you wanted to chime in, how you doing.
Speaker 14 (11:04):
I'm good.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
You guys just taught me something.
Speaker 11 (11:08):
And I'm kind of flushed about it. But when you've
talked about Taylor Swift the wood thing, I started thinking
about that.
Speaker 12 (11:16):
Song Knock Knock, Knocking Win.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
I'm like, oh my goodness.
Speaker 11 (11:19):
Oh no, he taught me and I never even realized
it until this morning.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
I was like, wow, yes, Wow, we're blushing ourselves. Cat.
So yeah, not going well. You know, do you know
the song not gonna work?
Speaker 6 (11:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 14 (11:33):
Yeah, maybe Stewart, I like that version.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
All right, well, coming up, keep it here. We're gonna

Speaker 2 (12:15):
She just announced it, Cindy Luffer taking over Las Vegas.
She's never done this before. She'll be at the Colosseum
at Caesar's Palace. It is her first residency and we
want to send you there for an entire weekend with
your ellen K, Q and A. It was really fun
making the Grammy present Cindy Law for special because she
flipped it. Instead of other stars singing her songs, she
(12:37):
sang all of her songs with the stars, and so
I got to watch it being made all the raw
footage from the Hollywood Bowl. And Cindy is so sensitive
to her audience, like she would literally see someone crying
after singing one of her songs and she would stop everything.
She'd go into the audience and give them a hug
(13:00):
and then come back because she knew she was being
you know, was being filmed for the special, and she
did a lot of those like mini breaks, and it
just showed what a big heart she has. So when
you're there, you know, get her attention. She'll come over
and give you.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Make eye contact.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
But all you have to do is be the first
caller with the right answer to our question. It's the
most common reason couples give for needing a break.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
All right, have you ever reached that breaking point?
Speaker 2 (13:28):
Well, this is the most common reason couples just take
a break. What do you think it is eight hundred
ninety two nine kost what drives most couples to that point.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
We're going to get your guests.
Speaker 4 (13:42):
This next host one O three point five The Allen
Ko Show stream us on the iHeart Radio all it's.
Speaker 10 (13:49):
The Ellen k Q and A on cost one oh
three point five.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
Let's go to Laura lynn Wood taking the kids to
school in the car.
Speaker 15 (13:56):
Hi, guys, bye, Ahi?
Speaker 1 (13:59):
Are you?
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Is everybody awake and ready for our great day at school?
Speaker 3 (14:04):
Well?
Speaker 1 (14:05):
Okay, alla, right.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
Okay, Well, we have time before the bell and we'd
love to get your guests. It's the most common reason
couples give for needing a break.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
What do you think it is?
Speaker 11 (14:16):
It's communication?
Speaker 2 (14:18):
Communication. Okay, a lot of people are saying communication. I
worked at this place years ago and this man, one
of our bosses, came in and said, just want everyone
to know my wife and I are divorcing.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
It's been twenty five years.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
We went on a beach vacation and we didn't say
one word to each other. So there's no more communication
and that's it. And he told the whole stuff. We
were like, okay, huh so that's a really common guess.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
Most people are saying communication. It's not the right answer.
Speaker 11 (14:49):
Oh man, Okay, thank you.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
At least I got in. Yay, go Laura Lynwood, have
fun at school kids.
Speaker 11 (14:55):
Bye, thank you, by bye, thank you bye.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
All right, go to Kunoga Park. She's Renee Alvarado. Let's see.
It says you're at work. Do you want to say
where you work?
Speaker 3 (15:07):
Sure?
Speaker 6 (15:07):
People already staffing agency?
Speaker 2 (15:09):
Okay, all right, Well what do you think it is, Renee?
What is that top reason that couples give for needing
a break.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
I'm like emotional distance.
Speaker 11 (15:20):
It's like filling distance.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
Oh that's a good guess. It's not the right answer. Ah, Okay,
a little chill in the air. Okay, let's go to
you Edson, Palmdale Edson. It says here that you work
in procurement.
Speaker 11 (15:38):
Correct, that is correct?
Speaker 1 (15:39):
Okay, can you say what you procure?
Speaker 11 (15:44):
Well, it's you know, it's just a fancy word, but
literally it's just like a buyer, you know.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
Yeah, okay, I like procurement.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
It also makes you seem like the international man of mystery.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
I procure things, all right, said, what is it? What's that?
Speaker 2 (16:01):
What's that most common reason couples give for needing a break?
Speaker 11 (16:04):
I would say, you know, these agreements, that's pretty much
a lot of times uses, you know, don't resolve conflict
and just put them under the rug.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
Them under the rug builds up.
Speaker 2 (16:17):
Yeah, that's what the iral sneaks in and the like that. Yikes,
that's a great guest resentment. It is not the right answer.
Speaker 11 (16:26):
Okay, well, thank you, thank you. Nice to talk to
you guys.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
Have a great day procuring things.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
We got to silver like she's Patty working at a
doctor's office. Hi, Patty, Hello, good morning, good morning Patty.
All right, Patty, what do you think it is? We're
still looking for the right answer. The most common reason
the couple say we.
Speaker 11 (16:49):
Need a break, I'm gonna say money.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
Money, financially tapped out. Arguments over money, money, money, money.
You are right, You're going to Cydney Lauper in Vegas.
Speaker 1 (16:58):
It's money.
Speaker 10 (17:00):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
Two night's day.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
You get gas card for the road and two tickets
to Cidey Lauper's first ever residency.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
And these are tickets before you can buy them, you
won them.
Speaker 11 (17:12):
I'm sorry, guys, I cannot wait. My daughter's gonna be
so happy.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
Yeah, you earned it, Thank you, thank you.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
You sing along to every song. Cindy Lauper in Vegas.
We got your hookup. But the most common reason couples
good for needing a break is financially just tapped out.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
We hope that's not the case for you. Here's Cindy
on Coast.
Speaker 10 (17:34):
It's the LAK Morning Show, katus.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
I love you. You great and you'll always do my
favorite station.
Speaker 10 (17:40):
The time I was for I Love You Coast one
oh three point five.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
Top Stories, Top of the Hour, Good Morning, Emmelan k
and Mark Sanchez, former USC quarterback and former NFL star,
is now facing a lawsuit stemming from Saturday stabbing incident
with the alleged victim, targeting both the former quarterback and
his employer. The docks were filed just yesterday with delivery
Viver Perry Told, suing Sanchez for assault and battery and
Fox for negligent hiring, retention and supervision. In the suit,
(18:07):
the guy states that Sanchez appeared intoxicated and instigated in
altercation the night of the alleged attack. Indianapolis Prosecutor Ryan
Emeres runs it down, we.
Speaker 13 (18:17):
Are literally talking about people finding over a parking space.
We have added more serious charges against mister Sanchez at
this point in time. We have filed a felon HRS,
A level five felony of battery involving serious body injury,
which contains a penalty of one to six years.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
Oh wow, and some are saying online that's a more
than diddy gout. Told also has the sites on Fox,
saying the company should have known Sanchez was a bad
fit and a bad hire and a bad employee due
to his propensity for drinking alcohol and or harmful conduct.
And Arawan has announced a brand new smoothie collaboration inspired
by slushies. It's called the Storm Storm Smoothie, a new
(18:54):
addition to Arawan's menu created by rapper Travis Scott. This
smoothie is named after his daughter Stormy and available at
all Arawon locations.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
This is twenty two bucks. It's designed to be both.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
Delicious and beneficial for your tum tum and Happy National
Taco Day, first Tuesday in October, happens every year.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
Let's see the modern.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
Word tacos Believed to originate in the eighteenth century silver
mines of Mexico. Miners used charges of gunpowder wrapped in paper,
which they call tacos. Their lunchtime staple was tortillas wrapped
around a spicy filling, so it looked so similar to
the dynamite sticks the names stuck. Americans eat over four
point five billion tacos each year. We did a little
(19:34):

Street Tacos and trey Hose. But everyone has their favorite,

praying that you pick me to go see bonjo vi heu.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
It's Sharon. Thank you, love you guys at coast.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
We love you back, Sharon. I think you're singing is
just fine. All right, keep those talkbacks coming. Let's see.
This one is from Brandon.
Speaker 15 (21:25):
So, my wife of eight years our recently found out
it's been cheating on me for a year year and
a half or so. As frustrating as this process has
been for me, I think what's really becoming a problem
is that my mom and my sister continues to hang
out with her to this day. You know, they'll go
to lunch together, they'll hang out at each other's houses,
go shopping. Don't understand why my mom and my sister
(21:46):
can't comprehend how it bothers me her being around, how
they hang out with her. If there's any way you
can help me out or give me some advice on that,
I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
Hi, Brandon, We're so sorry about that. We definitely put
you in the drawing. Good Bonjovie. I'll take your mind
off things. But that's that's a betrayal. Yeah, what should
Brandon do?
Speaker 12 (22:05):
All right?
Speaker 2 (22:05):
Well, that one I wasn't expecting him. Wasn't expecting that scenario. Okay,
so the wife was dishonest, bad girl, and now his
mom and sister continue to have a social life with
the probably soon to be ex wife.
Speaker 3 (22:20):
Why would they want that?
Speaker 1 (22:22):
Yeah, I don't know if they have kids.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
Yeah, but you don't I don't know.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
Didn't that? I mean, how could you like your partners?
I know Alex's family likes me more than they like him.
Speaker 2 (22:34):
You know what, And if if there were to ever
be like some kind of situation, I could see Darlene's
in laws hanging out with her still.
Speaker 1 (22:42):
I'm never leaving. What if Brandon gets with another woman
and then they're still going to hang out with the
with the past? You know that's going to bother you?
Speaker 2 (22:52):
Oh right, yeah, well Brandon, we want to help you out. Well,
it gets it gets sticky, you know, in family, and
then this happens in that and there's just so many
combo plates of that. But Brandon's that's that's that's tough.
Maybe maybe it's a like a firm conversation. Hey, do
you guys know I'm hurting over here?
Speaker 3 (23:12):
It sounds like he's had it, but they just don't
hear him. They're not hearing how this would even be
disruptive to him.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
Maybe he should go with them on one of these
lunes and just say, guys, we need to we need
to stop.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
Yes, this is this is madness an intervention.
Speaker 2 (23:25):
Yes, maybe, well keep your talkbacks coming. We will help you, Brandon.
I mean the best listeners that give the best help
and advice. It's eight hundred and ninety two nine kost

Speaker 1 (24:49):
We love be in live.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
With you here on The ellen K Morning Show. So
welcome on and talk back Tuesday. About an hour from now,
we're going to have a digital drawing for an intimate
evening with John bon Jovi. He's got new music and
he's going to be previewing it.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
You get John in the flesh.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
You can't buy these, it's truly when.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
Cannot and ten lucky talkback entries will go to John
bon Jovi. It's Thursday evening, so you to spend the
evening with John bon Jovi, getting all kinds of you know,
different kinds of talkbacks. We love all the different talkbacks,
getting people singing John bon Jovi's songs, people saying how
(25:30):
their day is going, their favorite subject in school. And
then Brandon dropped this one on us. He was talking
about his wife, well now soon to be ex wife,
and how she was unfaithful. He's upset, of course, and
then he said this.
Speaker 15 (25:47):
I think what's really becoming a problem is that my
mom and my sister continuously hang out with her to
this day. You know, they'll go to lunch together, they'll
hang out of each other's houses, go shopping. Don't understand
why my mom and my sister can't comprehend how it
admolished me her being around, how they hang out with her.
Speaker 1 (26:04):
Well, that is a big brother. But Brandon dropped that
one in the talk back. That's what it's for. Thirty seconds.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
You can say whatever you want. Well, so that's hurtful,
and men sometimes don't always express themselves. Well, Brian, you're
the rider's guy, very much express myself.
Speaker 1 (26:27):
Where's everything on his?
Speaker 10 (26:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (26:29):
Mostly you don't have to wonder what I'm feeling at
any minute.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
Oh, Michelle, you are chopping to get on. What do
you think?
Speaker 11 (26:36):
I think that is very disrespectful. I think they need
to stand by the mom used to stand by his person,
and the sister should stand by her brother. That's family,
that's a bloodline, that's so important for that woman, their
daughter in law, the sister in law that cheated on him.
(27:00):
That's just rude. It's just not acceptable.
Speaker 2 (27:03):
Yeah, I wonder like did he do something in the
family dynamic that caused them to go, hey, brother, you
know we're gonna be over here with your ex.
Speaker 11 (27:16):
Well, there's always that, as we know, there's always, you know,
two sides to every story.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
Well, we appreciate you so much. Thanks for listening, Michelle,
and thanks for colling.
Speaker 11 (27:26):
Absolutely, thank you. You get my day rocking and Roland
every morning and afternoon and evening.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Okay, thank you so much, Michelle. All Right, let us
thicker than water. That's where the saying comes from.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
Would it be as problematic if there if it was
a mutual breakup, right, there was no leg a hurt.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
Yeah, I just think that the connection, there's still that connection,
and then and then that would lead to the memories,
and then that would lead to the like a trigger.
I would think, like Darlene said, the Rodrigos would be
hanging out with Darlene all the time over they would
choose her over their own son.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
I'm never leaving.
Speaker 10 (28:01):
It's the LNK Morning Show.
Speaker 11 (28:02):
You guys really do make my morning. I love listening
to you guys.
Speaker 15 (28:06):
Every morning.
Speaker 11 (28:07):
Thank you for all your fun mornings on my ride.
Speaker 10 (28:10):
To work host one oh three point five.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
Top Stories Top of the Hour.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
Good morning, I'm Ellen k and we are one week
into the government shutdown.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
It's hitting super close to home.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
A major ordeal happening at Burbank Airport yesterday four pm.
Zero air traffic controllers literally, no one in the towers
to help guide or land planes. Everything coming to a
standstill with delays of two and a half hours. The
TSA and other government air employees asked to work for free,
so they walked out. Naturally, that wrecked the schedule. I
just checked in this morning with the airport just moments ago,
(28:41):
and the air traffic controllers have returned to work. Now
the delay is more like thirty to forty five minutes.
Still this a little teeny bit, so check before you go.
Oh boy, another restaurant logo change, this time Long down Silver's.
We'll see if this one goes better than Cracker Barrels.
Failed attempt in those marketing gurus have been fired the
Cracker Barrel rebranding. But for decades long, John Silvers has
(29:03):
been a fast food leader in quick seafood, but their
new logo is a chicken. The chain says. The change
reflects the new shift towards poultry. Company statement reads quote,
guests have been telling us for years that our chicken
is our best kept secret. That was very interesting and
happy National Taco Day. Taco deals all over the Southland.
Every day in the Southland is a Taco Day. But
(29:25):
the story of the taco's deeply woven into the history
of Mexico. Anthropological evidence shows indigenous people living in the
Lake region of the Valley of Mexico. They would fill
fresh soft corn tortillas with small fish and that was
the beginning of what we know as the taco. The
first documented taco feast was arranged by the Spanish conquistador
(29:45):
Hernan Cortes. He said, hey, all you captains, come on over.
I'm going to serve you some yummy meat on corn tortillas.
We eat over four point five billion tacos every single year,
and the Guinness World record for the largest taco ever
made stretch over two hundred and forty six feet long
and was filled with carnitas that was made in Mexico
(30:05):
and twenty eleven known has broken that record since. And
we're gonna see these clouds kind of burn off. Full
sundaytime highs around eighty right now sixty five and burd Bank.
We are presented by Celsia's Energy Drinks. It's Kost Los
Angeles Coast one of three point five for Cash on
Coast Coming up.
Speaker 10 (30:23):
LA wakes up with the L and K Morning Show.
Speaker 4 (30:25):
Thank you for making a smile even on bad days.
Speaker 10 (30:28):
You guys always make a smile with good music and
good humor and good loud host one oh three point five,
all right.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
Minutes ago, Lebron James revealed his second decision. All right,
so he made a big deal out of this. He's
getting a little bit raked online. Our LA Lakers forward
Lebron James. He's getting ready to play in his twenty
third season in the NBA, four time NBA MVP.
Speaker 1 (30:53):
All right, So there was so much speculation. What's it
gonna be, what's gonna be?
Speaker 2 (30:57):
It's the decision of all decisions, and he released it
at nine am. And his decision has nothing to do
with basketball. We had a feeling it might be an ad.
A lot of people are saying Amazon because Amazon Prime Day,
but it's actually with the Kognak Company.
Speaker 1 (31:16):
Hennessy.
Speaker 2 (31:17):
They posted a video with James stating that he was
taking his talents to Hennessyvsop. The decision has been made.
Cheers to your twenty three is what Hennessy said.
Speaker 1 (31:27):
You know what, people are really upset.
Speaker 10 (31:29):
Great campaign.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
I mean no, it's good marketing going fine.
Speaker 2 (31:32):

with you because there's a big deal going on around that.
But it's talk back Tuesday, so we want all your talkbacks.
