so it was really Cools, a golden retriever of anyway,
After that, we decided to go to the antique mall

the lady at the desk said, yeah, she used to
come here all the time.

Isn't that cool? So you could almost feel her spirit
in this antique mall. And it's kind of like for
my sister and I, we love home goods, so this

It is Breast Cancer Awareness a month, but we think
it should be breast cancer Awareness every day. If you
feel like something's just not right, go get checked. It's
so scary to go get a mammo gramma. I just
did it. I was like, oh, so nervous of calling
my husband every five minutes. I just don't know. I
don't because my mom had breast cancer. She had early
detection and she lived for many many years after they

(08:48):
gave her a masstectomy. So it's just so important we
want you around, so get checked. Stacy Smith is a
breast cancer vivor, an advocate, a champion. Stacey diagnosed with
stage three breast cancer. This is a feel good Stacy
or single mother. A doctor kept telling you that you

(09:09):
didn't qualify for further testing, but you knew something was wrong,
so you pursued. You took every avenue you could. You've
found that cancer stage three and you've survived. It's quite
the journey. What would you say to anyone dealing with
breast cancer.

Speaker 6 (09:23):
Stacy, I want to say, if you're just starting your
cancer journey, to make sure that you are putting yourself
first and that you are constantly advocating for yourself. And
if the doctor that you are working with is not
supportive to the way that you need them to be supportive,
then you need to change doctors and always make sure
you're putting yourself first. And as much as you can,

(09:43):
stay in a positive mental space. I love that bread,
the affirmations, reach sure, whatever religion it is, make sure
you're feeding your soul every day. I would have to
say the mental part was the most important part for me.
I try to keep the positives as much positivity around
me as possible, and that.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
Is healing as well. And by the look of your
smile with your girlfriend's at your birthday party, we'd say
you're doing really well.

really honored and grateful to be on the other side.

Okay, So we are kicking off like Hallmark Christmas movies
and I woke up to Instagram this morning all new
holiday movies and.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
Series launching today.

Speaker 11 (12:57):
So tonight Mistletoe Murders eight pm at on Hallmark. Sarah Drew,
who actually was on Gray's Anatomy, The Redhead. She is
on this show. It's called Mistletoe Murders and it's about
a Christmas store owner who skills are put to the test.
Everyone has ghosts of Christmas past, and she uncovers a

(13:19):
lot more than a regular store owner would.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Oh, so have it already.

Speaker 11 (13:24):
I just need that mixture of like, you know, my
murder and my Mary.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Hallmark, thank you for kicking off the holidays today on
October Seventeenthry.

Speaker 12 (13:38):
You got a whole list going on, right, there.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
What do you got, producer, I'm going to the movies.

Speaker 12 (13:41):
I'm gonna watch Good Fortune Keanu Reeves. He plays an
angel come from heaven, so he's down here on Earth,
but he's not very good at it. So he loses
his wings and he becomes grounded, and so now he
has to deal with like work and relationships and all
that stuff. It looks really funny. I'm really looking forward
to this seth Rogan's in it a season. Zari Palmer.
So Good Fortune out today, eighty six percent on ron Tomatoes.

(14:04):
I'm gonna check it out.

Speaker 5 (14:05):
Law, I see that too. Yeah, So we're gonna go
to Netflix for mine. It's called The Perfect Neighbor. It
is a true story documentary of a twenty twenty three
crime in Florida. And I'm not gonna spoil anything by
even saying what the crime is. But here's why I
think you're gonna love it and why it has a
one hundred percent, a perfect one hundred percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
It's the first movie to be made using almost entirely
police bodycam footage.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
Oh wow, So you follow.

Speaker 5 (14:29):
Everything from the nine one one call to the time
the police arrived to the interviews with everyone involved, neighbors,
the attacker. It puts you right there. It's very immersive
in the midst of all of it, everyone telling their
side of the story. It cuts to some ring footage
CCTV the whole time you're seeing these things happen. As
they happen. You go on a ride and should this
person have been convicted? Did they have a legal right
to do what they did? You decide? It is the

(14:51):
perfect neighbor on Netflix.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
Oh, a perfect one hundred for a perfect neighbor. I
was texting last night I did something. I waited till
nine four because on the East Coast sometimes they'll drop
it at midnight on the East Coast, so I was
like looking for it. I'm texting me, what's it called? Again?
It's on Netflix right and it wasn't there yet. It's
there now and we're going to stay on Netflix. If

(15:13):
you're in the mood for something heart tugging and beautiful,
check out Netflix. Is Brazilian drama Caramelo. It's the story
of Pedro and ambitious chef in South Paulo. So you
see all of South Paulo. It's so beautiful, and then
the hungry little dog who wanders into his life at
just the right time.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
Ah.

Speaker 4 (15:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
When Pedro learns he's facing a serious illness, it's Caramelo
who helps him rediscover love and loyalty in the courage
to keep going, and their bond is magic. It's a
reminder that sometimes the best medicine actually comes from the
people we love or the animals we love. It's already
a global top ten hit on Netflix. It's number two,
right behind The Woman in Cabin ten. But I've got
to tell you I've seen both. I go Caramelo every time.

(15:53):
It doesn't have that perfect one hundred, but has a
ninety six un rotten.

Speaker 5 (15:57):
Okay, it's still strong.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
Yeah, is so sweet and so cute, and I know
you're just going to fall in love not only with
the people, but also with Caramelo the dog.

Speaker 5 (16:07):
And that's cool. You know what else will be watching
tonight at five away.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Plus time for Dodger Base. It's the L and K
Morning Show.

Speaker 9 (16:19):

time Vince Gully says it's time for Dodger baseball. All
you have to do is call you call her twenty.
We're gonna stick your name in the hat. That hat
is filling up. You can do it all throughout the morning.
Then at nine ten Ryan takes his hand, he reaches

(16:46):
into the hat, fishes around a little bit. Then you
draw a name.

Speaker 5 (16:50):
This is a big task today. It's I mean, this
could be a Pennant clinch tonight. I don't know. I
just feel a lot of pressure.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
Bring your brooms. Do the Dodgor sell little rooms at the.

Speaker 5 (16:59):
They do not. That would be terrible sportsmanship, it really, yes,
it would be fun.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
Now they don't you Are you allowed to bring your own?
You can bring your own, okay, just a little teeny broom.
Sure you can bring a blue one. That would be
really cool. It could make one.

Speaker 5 (17:13):
Yeah, that would be bad, like it would be a
bad omen.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
Oh okay, so you know, okay, it's like a superstition.
Don't do that.

Speaker 5 (17:20):
Don't do that.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
It's a bad look and it's a bad omen. Okay,
all right, we let's get your llen KQ and a
we asked the question. First color with the right answer
is going to Edge hearing his loop tour coming to
so Far August eighth of next year. So Ed's gonna
sell this thing out, but you can win your way in.
And this is the most common thing couples argue about.
It's this. This is the top of the list. The

(17:43):
most common thing couples argue about is blank. Fill in
that blank. What do you think it is? Send you
to Ed at eight hundred and nine two nine KOs.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
Take the llen k Morning Show with you everywhere. Make
us a preset on your iHeartRadio. It's the llen k
Q and A on host one oh three point five.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
We go to Santa Clarita. She is Yolani. Yolani is
getting her Starbucks order in line. What is your order?

Speaker 3 (18:10):
I am ordering a medicine ball, a rounde pink drink,
and a tall dragon fruit with lemonade.

Speaker 9 (18:20):
All for you, No, I wait for the kids.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
Okay, Yah, all right, Yilani? Well what is your guest?
So it's the most common thing couples argue about. This
is the very tippy top of the list.

Speaker 9 (18:33):
I think is what's what's for dinner?

Speaker 1 (18:35):
What's for dinner. It's a hard decision, and it sneaks
up on you too. It's a great guest. It is
not the right answer.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Try again, please, Oh oh, no worries.

Speaker 13 (18:44):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 9 (18:45):
You get have a wonderful, wonderful weekend.

Speaker 13 (18:47):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
Okay, Well, we go to Long Beach. Now she is
Susan and Susan on the line. We're still looking for
the right answer. It's the most common thing couples argue about, Susan.
What do you say?

Speaker 9 (18:57):
I say money?

Speaker 1 (18:59):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (19:00):
You know one wants suspend it and the other one doesn't.

Speaker 1 (19:03):
Okay, and that's a really probably our top guest this
morning is money.

Speaker 9 (19:08):
Oh that means it's wrong.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
Yeah, it's not the right answer. And we never say
the work. We just say it's not the right answer,
because you're always right, Susan. You're just not right this time.

Speaker 9 (19:19):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (19:20):
Well it was great. This was the first time I
finally got through you.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
So welcome. Great, try again. Okay, we go to Anaheim.
She's Sona. Sona is on her way to work at
an Irvine law firm. And Sona, my question to you
is before I get your guests, our law firms like
the ones in TV high rise, lots of glass, power suits.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
Honestly, no, that's the lawyers I all work with. There
are really really great people. And honestly, you know, like
I'm a feeling I'm gonna stick around here for a while.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
So oh good. I love that. All right, Sona, Well,
what's your guess.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
I'm gonna guess home renovation. Me and my girlfriend are
currently working on our closet and our walls in our
bedroom right now, so I'm gonna get home renovations. We
don't argue, but you know, like we dis.

Speaker 9 (20:09):
Gout, you discuss, we shut.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
Something about the disarray. They say that that can sometimes
lead to split up, so keep it under control. And
you say home renovations. It's a great guess. It's not
the right answer.

Speaker 9 (20:24):
Okay, thank you, Ellen, Yeah, thanks Sona.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
Good luck with that closet. Now we venture on to Laverne.
It's Katie, Hi, Katie, on your way to work. Red
light therapy. I have not done this yet. I see
the masks for sale on Instagram where you strap it
on and then get the red It really works.

Speaker 7 (20:41):
Huh yes, oh my gosh. I literally live by it.

Speaker 1 (20:44):
Red light therapy. I think it's also good for like
healing joints and broken bones and things.

Speaker 7 (20:49):
Right, yes, so like if I ever have like a
neck pain or anything, or like back pain, I just
lay on our lights that we have at work.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
That's so helpful much.

Speaker 7 (20:59):
We also use it for eight loss as well.

Speaker 1 (21:01):
Oh that's so interesting. Okay, red light therapy and she
is Katie of Laverne. Katie, what is your guest? It's
the most common thing couples argue about the phone.

Speaker 7 (21:09):
The phone, I would say, like snooping on it, anything
that pops up on there. I mean sure, we all
been there.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
I think he's scrolling and smiling.

Speaker 5 (21:20):
Yeah, Who's who's that?

Speaker 13 (21:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (21:22):
Is making you smile?

Speaker 9 (21:23):
Who are you?

Speaker 4 (21:24):
Who are you?

Speaker 7 (21:24):
Who are you talking to?

Speaker 1 (21:27):
Well? I gotta tell you, Katie of Laverne, with your

life saving medications without breaking the bank. Prior to this,
the most affordable insulin pen was ninety two dollars. And
here's a feel good for you student, said a Buffalo
Academy of Sciences. Surprise, their principle, her name is Brianna.
They staged a mock wedding at school. She got married
or she got engaged, and she told the whole school

(22:58):
at an assembly, I wish I could invite all of you,
but I can't afford it. So they flipped it on her.
They decorated the entire outdoor football field and they had
a mock wedding. Her assistant principal walked her down the aisle.
They got married with candy rings. This vice principal and
principal said they were completely overwhelmed with joy, and all
the students said it was one of the most touching
moments ever. All the students also having the school band

(23:23):
perform at the after party. What a great feel good

Troy High School, home of the Warriors. Last night they
had a massive win. They are now eight and one
thirty seven zero over Canyon.

Speaker 5 (25:31):
It's a spanking oh that is for weeks, a real
wall of my mom and dad.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
I'm going to give you a wall of what they
never did, but still all right. All led by head
coach Michael E. Chavez. Think of it like the electronic Javez.
Michael E. Chavez, you are electronic. You are all about
the I don't know, the bonding and the camaraderie.

Speaker 13 (25:56):
Yep, yep, that's what that's what we believe in. And
I've been here for nine years. This is my eleventh
year as a head coach, and I think as I've
done this more and more, you know, the wins and
losses come, but the relationships that we're able to develop
at the players and our coaches has been extremely special.
And the thing that I'm going to remember, and I

(26:16):
know that the boys will remember more than the wins
and losses or or the big plays they made, is
the small moments that they have with their teammates and
with their coaches, which is which is what we cherish.

Speaker 1 (26:27):
We do too. Head coach Michael Eachavs, congratulations on building
such an amazing program with lasting friendships and forever memories.
You're a feel good coach.

Speaker 13 (26:37):
Thank you so much, Ellen, I appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
Now we appreciate you, Michael Iachavas Head coach Troy Hagh
Home are the Warriors? Yeah? Thirty seven? Oh so, he says,
you know, it's not about the wins and the losses,
but you haven't really had any losses. But it's all
learning and it's all bonding and it's all beautiful.

Speaker 14 (26:54):

I do.

Speaker 8 (27:25):
I'm dressing up as Hello Kitty.

Speaker 12 (27:28):
Hi.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
Well that's great. You know that the woman who created
Hello Kitty was denied her drawing forty six times. She
kept going to some people. She's like, I swear to God,
this could be a big deal, this could be a trademark.
And man, you try, Let's make toys, let's make things.
And they said no, forty six times, they said it's
too childish. And now it's worth eight billion dollars.

Speaker 8 (27:52):
Yeah I know.

Jaguars playing the La Rams at Wembley Stadium in London.
And then Sunday at five pm, Sunday Night Football on

(28:49):
NBC the San Francisco forty nine Ers hosting the Atlanta Falcons.
Funny about the forty nine Ers. Someone put up a
big Halloween display in their front yard of all the
forty nine ers in their injured state. So it's a
ski eleton in a wheelchair, skeletons on crutches. Anyway, they
are playing Sunday Night Football on NBC Go. Dodgers one
went away from the World Series again, picking up that

(29:10):
clutch three to one win over the Brewers to the
ninth inning and Chavez ravine. It was so exciting with
Tyler glasnow Heart High School and Stamford and there he
was just slaying it. So remember it's vinta win at
nine ten. We're going to make that big drawing. You
could be there tonight five thirty eight, First Pitch on

all happening tomorrow in Huntington Beach from ten am to
three pm. And what about this. I don't know if

Alex out started dating her boyfriend I just about a
year ago and they're getting to know each other. So
she said, send me a picture of your morning coffee,
and he did, and this has gone viral on TikTok.
She played the live photo and the moment she heard
what Isaac said. She threw her phone across her office.

(30:17):
Alex Alva started dating Isaac and it might have seemed ordinary,
but when she hit that photo, it said, I think
she's the one, and now they're engaged. What feel good?

because we're watching that as well together. But Dancing with
the Stars and if you haven't been following along, Steve
Erwin's son, Robert Irwin is a man now. In fact,
he did shirtless photos with a snake to promote Dancing

(35:11):
with the Stars. He had that big boa wrapped around
his body. And he's become a sex symbol but also
a symbol for his dad and carrying on his dad's legacy.
He danced with his mother the other night. He dedicated
that dance to his mom, Terry, and they've you know,
they've been trying to put their grief in the right box,
but it's hard to do. You know, you lose your
parents and it never gets really better. It just you

his dad, saying how proud he is to carry on
the legacy.
