Feel good Friday says feel nervous. All right, This made
me nervous. I'm going to pass something around. It's in
a plastic bag, and I want you to tell me
what you think this is. Do not open the bag
because you'll smell chart. Yeah, it's something burned in our house.
Speaker 7 (01:24):
Just looks like an evidence bag or something, a forensic bag.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
That's exactly what it is. So this happened at my
house last night.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
That's really really charred.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
I'll give you some hints. My husband put that in
the microwave.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
I know what it is.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
And instead of three minutes, he says, he put it
on accidentally on thirteen. But it looks more like thirty popcorn.
So what do you Okay, So Ryan, what do you think?
Speaker 3 (01:48):
I think it's back darling smelted charred popcorn.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
It looks like a bag of gummy bears to me.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
Okay, well it would be something that you would microwave.
It was in the microwavesh that's so charred.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
I don't I can't even tell.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
It is a bag of frozen rice. And we love
the frozen jasmine rice. It comes in three packs in
the freezer section at the grocery store. I go to
Ralfs all the time. You get brown or jasmine and
can't have that right.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yeah, And.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
I walked into the house a little late yesterday, like
seven pm, that hair appointment, and I could smell something
in the house. It did something burn. My husband's like, yeah,
I didn't know how bad it was. I guess the
entire upstairs filled with smoke.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
Did he?
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Did he say? I the detectors went off.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
He didn't say, he didn't say. I didn't ask. I
was just like, okay, So of course the inside of
the microwave is also burned. So I sprayed it with clorox.
I put lemon juice in there. Everything. All the doors
are open.
Speaker 6 (02:56):
Did it actually catch fire? It looks like look, honestly,
it looks like that.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
That was Those are embers. I believe it.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
I'm gonna text him and ask him about you know,
you're asking all the right questions. I was just like, oh, no,
I was starving. You know what I had to eat
yesterday a bag of skittles.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Yeah, well, you had a long hair appointment.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
I know I was starving.
Speaker 6 (03:16):
And your husband's using a fire extinguisher, not telling you. Roy,
please call the hotline. You love you, buddy, you.
Speaker 10 (03:22):
Have thank God, it's thank God.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
It's and Happy Friday too. Yeah, coming up, we're gonna
go inside Entertainment. Ryan Austin Green is blind sided on
the streets, just leaving a Starbucks. Poor guy, and TMZ
cut up with him. Also, Taylor Swift is a birthday today,
got her presence last night.
Speaker 11 (04:01):
Ten of them will tell you what they are next,
It's the L and K Morning Show.
Speaker 8 (04:06):
I love the falls.
Speaker 10 (04:07):
I wish you could play them all year.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
And I hope that you stay with us after the
Christmas music goes away.
Speaker 12 (04:12):
Oh I do, I do, but I just love this
time of the year.
Speaker 8 (04:14):
Okay, happy How is do you guys?
Speaker 13 (04:16):
Okay?
Speaker 11 (04:16):
Post one three point five?
Speaker 1 (04:18):
All right, So maybe you've heard Megan Fox bot an
eight million dollar home. She's pregnant with Machine Gun Kelly's child.
She is going to move into that home alone after
allegedly leaving him during Thanksgiving. They were in Veil or
Aspen or somewhere like that, and she went into his
phone and saw all kinds of inappropriate messages with multiple women.
I heard. It wasn't her that took off, it was him.
(04:42):
He flew away, so he left, but she dumped him anyway.
Megan Fox and Brian Elston Green were married for quite
a while and they remained really really good friends. They
share children together. So Brian Alston Green was just leaving
a Starbucks when paparazzi and TMZ up with him gave
him the news that mgk's recent split from Megan Fox happened.
(05:08):
And why and what message did Brian Lustin Green have
for Machine Gun Kelly.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
That's a shame.
Speaker 6 (05:14):
I'm heartbroken about it because I know she's been so
excited and the kids are so excited for life and
the change and.
Speaker 14 (05:23):
All of that.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Yeah, he was rolling his eyes looking up at this guy.
He had no idea.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
He also told MGK, and I'm quoting here, grow up.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
Well he should, Okay, what about this. Taylor Swift celebrating
her birthday today. She wanted an incredible ten awards last
night the Billboard Music Awards, further solidifying her status as
the most celebrated artist in Billboard Music Awards history.
Speaker 15 (05:48):
It means the world to me that you guys have
embraced the things I've made, you know, and the fact
that you've cared so much about my music, And this
is like the nicest early birthday present you could have
given me.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
Ah well, Happy birthday, Taylor, she really did. Grew up
on a Christmas night, went tonight, so I'd taken the
by static stress holiday flat.
Speaker 11 (06:14):
Days the morning shell.
Speaker 5 (06:15):
There's a lot of negativity in the worldline, and you
guys drink so much positivity.
Speaker 16 (06:19):
I cannot even tell you how exciting world are.
Speaker 11 (06:21):
Coast one oh three point five.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Happy Friday too, Yeah, you made it through another week.
A busy week. Traffic has been really, really so backed
up and the Malibu fires. The Franklin fire is one
of the reasons. Some people were telling me that like
their schedules are two hours behind. My dentist said, two
(06:43):
hours behind because of the traffic from the Franklin fire.
Everyone's spilled over onto the other roads because we can't
use PCH. So got to pack your patience, which I
did out all day yesterday. I walked through the door,
left in the dark, got home in the dark, smelled
something funny in the house. So in case you're just
(07:03):
joining us, my husband burned some rice in the microwave.
It's a rice packet. They're frozen. You put in for
three minutes, so I didn't ask the important questions. Ryan,
and you asked him to call, and Roy, thank you
for calling. There's a couple more questions about this rice bag.
Speaker 8 (07:20):
I'm sure you did.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
Was there fire?
Speaker 8 (07:23):
There was fire.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
There was fire, So it was actually on fire in
the microwave yep. And how did you put the fire out?
Speaker 8 (07:35):
I opened the door and just pushed it on the ground.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
Did you wait for her to get home to clean
up the crime scene?
Speaker 8 (07:46):
I spent about an hour and a half cleaning up
the grabs came out, little fire. I turned on every
candle a spray cologne.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
He did, he did, I could. I was like, what
is that cologne? I thought you just made the fire
in the fireplace, like, hey, welcome home. It's been a
long day you left in the dark.
Speaker 8 (08:06):
Here you the thing you scraped the grill with? Yeah,
off the glass plate?
Speaker 4 (08:16):
All right?
Speaker 1 (08:16):
Well, I thought, I think I took it pretty well.
Speaker 8 (08:18):
Yeah you did. I thought it was uh, you know.
Calvin thought, oh, she's never gonna notice.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
You guys.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
This is the second kitchen fire you've started. You did
it once with a Jiffy pop popcorn and you and
Calvin he was only four. You told Calvin Nott to
tell me, and then he the first thing he said
when I walked through the door. Dad started a fire
in the kitchen.
Speaker 8 (08:45):
Yeah, this was Calvin fault too, because I was working
out with him. Okay, I was so worn out and
hungry I came my.
Speaker 16 (08:59):
Boy.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Okay, well we have the evidence. I'm gonna post it online.
Speaker 10 (09:03):
Thanks Roy.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
Yeah, it's up in my Instagram stories. Artificial ellen K.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
This is Royan Calvinn.
Speaker 6 (09:08):
You walked in the door, totally guilty.
Speaker 11 (09:18):
It's the L and K Morning Shell.
Speaker 17 (09:19):
You have such wonderful laughter and entertainment positivity. Just want
to say how great everyone is there that makes the
ellen K Show on Coast the Beast station in the
US to listen.
Speaker 11 (09:31):
To past one oh three point.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
Five and it's your happiness hack. It's all about your decorations.
What do they say about you?
Speaker 6 (09:38):
Yep, it's no secret Christmas decorations don't just bring us
joy when we get home.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
They tell a story about the people behind the door.
Uh oh, what's going on there?
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Oh do you know? Like what like big inflatables mean?
Speaker 4 (09:51):
Oh you know what?
Speaker 2 (09:51):
That didn't make the study. I would love that to
be included.
Speaker 1 (09:54):
I wonder because we have a Bucky Beaver oh from
BUCkies from BUCkies of Texas to Dallas, US for Thanksgiving. Yeah,
so have a big Bucky beaver blow up and a
giant sanna. I wonder what that says.
Speaker 6 (10:07):
You have both of those going on in your front yard.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
Your front yard isn't that big? How are they?
Speaker 18 (10:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (10:15):
Okay, that's what I thought.
Speaker 6 (10:17):
Well, if your tree, and I know you have one
of these, ellen is filled with handmade decorations, this is
the this is the sort of decorative happiness index. Okay, okay,
you have a tree with handmade decorations that Calvin made.
Is a young t That's good. That's a that's that
rings very high on the happiness scale.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
Me so happy.
Speaker 6 (10:36):
It means you're family oriented and that you're a very
happy person. If you have a perfectly decorated tree, not
so happy.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
Oh you know has those Kathy Hilton. There was a
huge party every year. All the trees look like they
came out of a store window.
Speaker 6 (10:54):
White lights, medium happy, you're considered fair, non judgmental, somewhat
full blue lights you're seeking wisdom and honesty.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
Also medium happy. You want to know the happiest multi
colored lights? Yeah, your tree.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Yes, that's what we usually do.
Speaker 6 (11:10):
But I'll tell you why guys, this is no good
on the very bottom of the list. And I know
someone that has one of these. A white flocked Christmas tree.
Oh I'm just quoting here. You are very fond of dramatics.
Why not happy flock?
Speaker 1 (11:26):
Oh boy, it's.
Speaker 11 (11:31):
The Morning Show.
Speaker 4 (11:32):
You gotta give up thirsty for more.
Speaker 13 (11:37):
Merry Christmas past one three point five top.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
Stories Top of the hour. Good morning, I'm Ellen k
And a big recall from Stanley, the massively popular drink
wear brand, voluntarily calling back two point six million travel mugs,
all due to a potential burn hazard. Apparently, the lid
threads on the mugs can shrink when exposed to heat
or torque, costly to detach, which could lead to a
really painful spill. It's actually been pretty common. Stanley's gotten
(12:03):
more than one hundred reports about the improper tops just
in the past week. If you have one, that'll replace
it for free. And a study found that mothers take
on seven to ten of all household mental load tasks,
so it's the mother load. These tasks range from planning
meals and arranging activities to managing household finances. Moms handles
seventy percent of household tasks. They take on eighty percent
(12:25):
of daily jobs, twice as much as dad's. Dads, meanwhile,
focus on episodic tasks like finances and home repairs. Single
moms and single dads take on the full mental loads.
Single dads in particular do more compared to partnered fathers,
and the Geminid meteor shower is here one of the
most dramatic astronomical events of the year. It will peak
(12:45):
this weekend. It's considered one of the best and most
reliable annual meteor showers in the northern Hemisphere. According to NASA,
to about one hundred and twenty meteors per hour could
be seen if you go to a dark sky tonight
and Tomorrow night around nine or ten pm is when
it really really crescendos. And the Mega Millions jackpot is
up to six hundred and seventy million dollars for today's drawing.
(13:07):
Mostly sunny our Friday, the thirteenth, tempt stay cool. Looking
at sixty five four the highs We're gonna stay in
this cooler pocket through the weekend, back up to seventy
five next week and right now it is fifty in
Burbank Kost, Los Angeles, we run on Selsey's energy drees.
It's Coast one on three point five, Wake up with
Ellen k I'm enjoying all the holiday music, wishing peace, love, acceptance,
(13:30):
and kindness.
Speaker 11 (13:30):
Happy holidays to all Coast one O three point five.
Speaker 19 (13:34):
I need some fuel goods, baby, seems like the world's
gone crazy.
Speaker 4 (13:40):
I need some fuel goods. Baby, give it to me,
Give it to me.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
Yes, we go to you now. Wendy, here on a
feel good Friday. You're feeling grateful this morning.
Speaker 20 (13:54):
Well, it started off as a rotten year. I've been
in and out of hospitals all year long, different illnesses
and stuff, and I don't have the greatest health. But
I am still trucking along and getting up in the morning.
And it's Friday, the thirteenth, but I'm still going.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
Well, Wendy, that's quite the journey you've had this year,
and we're glad you're feeling good enough to get out
of bed. Oh yeah, what do you want for Christmas?
Just your health.
Speaker 20 (14:22):
I just want to be able to get through with
that having to go back in the hospital. I've had
a rough year and it's just been one thing after another.
But you know, so long as I can just relax
and enjoy the season and the smells and the beautiful
lights and stuff. I'm a happy person. I don't need gifts.
I not like that.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
The little things are the big things, and you get
a whole new appreciation. It's all perspective, isn't it.
Speaker 20 (14:50):
Yes, it definitely is.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
We're glad you're better, Wendy, stay out of that hospital.
Speaker 20 (14:56):
Thank you. Love your station.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
We love that you listen. It really is perspective. It's
appreciating the little things we take for granted.
Speaker 5 (15:07):
Yesterday I was at City of Hope with my sister,
who is I'm already getting choked up. My little sister
was diagnosed ten years ago with a very aggressive form
of tongue cancer and City of Hope helped her through
her journey with everything from surgeries to blood transfusions, to
chemo radiation and the therapy after that. And so we
(15:29):
like to go back to give back and just like
Wendy said, you know, realizing that our presence is the present.
We met a lady, a grandma who has been a
cancer patient. She's had cancer four different times. She was
picking gifts for all of her grandkids. We were happy
(15:49):
to wrap them for her. She was so grateful. And
then two different dads, Roberto Junior who was so sweet
with his dad, Roberto Sor and he was getting gifts
for his sons and he asked, instead of us wrapping it,
does he mind? What do we mind if he took
the gift wrap back to his room to give them
(16:09):
something to do. And so we hooked him up. He
got a bunch of in and out merch and whatever
he wanted. We were loading his bags up. We gave
him gift wrap, gift tags, all of it, the works,
the bows, and we were there with a wish upon
a toy, a nonprofit that does this every year. And
then we ended it with Mark, a patient, another dad
(16:29):
who just started not feeling well and he has an
eight year old son. We got them NERF guns and games.
He said, oh, can I get that Connect four because
I want to play that with my son when he
comes to visit me.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
See it when you go back every year, you wrap
the gifts, you see the patients, and it gives you
just a new appreciation of look, just even being able
to walk.
Speaker 5 (16:55):
Yes, And we went back and we visited my sister's
friends at the radiation booth and they were so happy
to see her, and to them, it's a gift to
see her.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
Yes, thriving.
Speaker 5 (17:05):
Yeah, so all around, just a reminder of you know,
if you're stuck in traffic, if you're struggling to pay
that bill, you know, we have to find perspective in
these things of life. And even these patients that are
fighting for their life.
Speaker 3 (17:19):
Yeah, they're still with the good attitude.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
Yes, your feel good Friday, share your feel goods, keeping comings.
Speaker 11 (17:27):
It's the L and K Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (17:29):

Okay, it's the Q and A A man, So, for instance,
Ryan is three times more likely than a woman. You
mean to do this at a party. What do you
think it is.
Speaker 20 (19:15):
I think it's get into a fight.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
Yeah, oh my god. Okay, that's a great guest, Katie.

Have a good weekend.

I have a good day. Let's go to Orange County.
Miss limb kindergarten teacher, that must be fun.
Speaker 20 (20:02):
Hi, I'm miss blim And my answer is that men
are more likely to leave the party without saying goodbye.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
Oh, you are absolutely right. Okay, yep. Men do it
three times more than women.
Speaker 16 (20:22):
Yeah, I can tell.
Speaker 15 (20:26):
You.
Speaker 1 (20:26):
Turn around, Go where's Ryan? Wait a minute, we lost it.
It happens three times more than a woman. And I
think sometimes it may be that said man disappears because
he doesn't want to see anyone to see him who
is leaving wit.
Speaker 4 (20:43):
That could be.
Speaker 6 (20:45):
I will say that I don't intend to do it
It's not like a rude thing, like oh, I'm not
just I just want to leave him, not say goodbye.
It's more just like a distraction, like you're in the wind,
something pulls your attention.
Speaker 4 (20:56):
I like that.
Speaker 10 (20:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (20:57):
I never say goodbye either, disappear.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
Wait so at a party? Yes, and then what.

producer Michael, but like you get.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
I just don't like to bother people. It's like, okay,
you know I was there and then you didn't see me.
Speaker 6 (21:18):
Taking goodbye, says Forever. It could save you three days
a year if it just stop saying goodbye party.
Speaker 1 (21:23):

this was a fun night.
Speaker 2 (21:27):

A man is three times more likely than a woman
to do what at a party? That was the question,

surrounded by two who leave without saying goodbye.
Speaker 9 (22:08):
Oh, they're the ones that sneak out.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
Yeah, they think that they're wasting our time if they
come thank us and say goodbye, Like Mike, what did
you just say?
Speaker 7 (22:16):
Yeah, I don't want to bother you with having to
say goodbye.
Speaker 4 (22:19):
I don't you know.
Speaker 7 (22:19):
I already said Hi, said thanks you for having me.
Nobody needs to be bothered again and having me circle
back around like I'm leaving.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
No, because it's just a gesture of like you say
thank you, see you you know tomorrow or next week
or whatever it is. I really had a great time.
Speaker 16 (22:37):
It's a waste because they're concerned. I don't know where
you are.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
No, no one cares where you are.
Speaker 11 (22:45):
It's the L and K Morning Show.
Speaker 16 (22:47):
Good Morning, Coast QTS. That's my new name for you,
Coast QTEs.
Speaker 11 (22:52):
Bye Coast one three point five.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
Top Stories Top of the Hour, Good morning, I'm llen
k and and Happy birthday to Dick van Dyke ninety
nine years young today. But wow, he had to escape
the Franklin fire. He was feeling super weak. Anyway, neighbor
saved him. Dick runs it down.
Speaker 18 (23:12):
I was trying to crawl to the car. I had
exhausted myself. I couldn't get upon. Three neighbors came and
carried me out, and came back and put up a
little fire in the guest house and saved me.
Speaker 1 (23:25):
Oh, thank goodness, a national treasure. And Dick van Dyke
happin his birthday today. And nearly half of all us
teens are almost constantly online. A new Pew survey found
that virtually all teenagers ninety nine percent use YouTube. That's
the number one social media that teens are using. Number
two is TikTok, and number three Instagram, then four and
(23:46):
five it's a close race between x and Reddit. But
all teens being pulled saying that they are constantly online,
and the evidence shows it's true. And what about the
Saki Maiden space could sell for five hundred thousand dollars.
Asahi is trying to do it. If it works, one
hundred mili liter bottle will be offered for sale on
Earth at one hundred million yen, so that would be
(24:08):
five hundred thousand dollars a glass, or six hundred and
fifty thousand dollars in US money. There's no guarantee that
they could do this in space, but they're going to
try to make saki on the Moon. It's made of
Japanese rice, water, yeast, and koji. It traditionally takes two
months here on Earth. They're going to try to see
how long it will ferment on the Moon and then
bring it back to Earth to be sold. And as
(24:29):
Joshuacarty kicking four field goals and the La Rams defeated
the fort nine Ers. Wow, and it was a pretty
big wallop too. Twelve six last night, Thursday Night football.
Speaker 18 (24:40):
We take you there, extra rush and they're gonna end
the game with a shack.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
And the Rams have now won seven of their last nine.
And if the Seahawks lives on Sunday, the Rams will
be in first place. And we have a beautiful Friday.
A little bit cool, but we're gonna warm up next week.
Right now, it is fifty and Bourbank and we run
on Celsa's energy drinks. It's kost Los Angeles, Coast one
O three point five. We want to make it your
(25:06):
greatest Christmas ever. One thousand dollars for you coming up
in about twenty minutes. Keep it here to win.
Speaker 11 (25:13):
It's the lank Morning Shell, the.
Speaker 10 (25:15):
Worst toy maker in the world.
Speaker 4 (25:17):
It's a cottonheaded Ninni Muggins.
Speaker 11 (25:19):
Coast one O three point five.
Speaker 1 (25:21):
The LK Morning Show, and we are giving you your
greatest Christmas ever. Just ahead. We'll tell you when to call,
but I think twenty after eight and you get one
thousand dollars, So keep it here to win. That Also
on the lan KQ and A, we just discovered that
man is three times more likely to bail from a
party than a woman. Just bail, just disappear, evaporate. I'll
(25:41):
tell you who's really really good at it, Ryan Seacrest.
He can get in and out like Houdini. It's mind boggling.
I mean it's literally like here, one second, you turn
around and gone. Yeah, it's that quick. Ryan. You're more
of a trickle yeah when you leave, but you do
disappear and pretty Mike, you also are famous for just
(26:02):
ghosting gone. So patersa thank you for calling that. You
say that you walk the walk, you live this life.
Speaker 12 (26:10):
So my husband is notorious for leaving parties without saying goodbye.
And but the embarrassing thing is he'll sneak out and
leave me at the party and then send me a text, Hey,
I'm in the car waiting. So then here I am
because I'm a woman and I feel the need to
say goodbye to everybody. And I'm sitting there saying goodbye,
and they're like, where's Lewis?
Speaker 1 (26:32):
Oh my god, So Lewis just bails and then tells
you where to find.
Speaker 12 (26:36):
Him exactly exactly every time, every single time, every time.
Speaker 1 (26:43):
My husband's just the opposite. Thank you, Patersa. I can't
get him out.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
Roy's a tough goodbye.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
He's really it's really really hard. I mean, he's the
kind of guy. Imagine that you're say you're at a restaurant.
They'll start putting the tables, you know, the chairs on table, lights.
Speaker 2 (26:58):
Orts are on, and he doesn't even FaZe him, not
at all. He doesn't even know.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
Oh literally, I can say it like this, I'm leaving,
and he won't hear me, doesn't. So he's the opposite
of you guys. It's just so it's there are so
many differences we all have between men and women, but
somehow we all get along.
Speaker 6 (27:17):
I just don't think people care enough to know I'm leaving.
I feel like it's it's rude to be.
Speaker 2 (27:22):
Like, hey, I'm leaving.
Speaker 4 (27:24):
Who cares?
Speaker 1 (27:25):
It's just you don't announce your leaving. You say thank
you for the nice time.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
Yeah, that's a text.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
That's it's it's it's just so much more personal. Now.
If you're my husband, he's not doing either. He's just
having a conversations.
Speaker 13 (27:39):
It's the L and K Morning Show, Marry Christmas Coast
one O three point five TI, Good morning.
Speaker 1 (27:47):
Who's this's something I want? You are collar twenty?
Speaker 9 (27:53):

Speaker 22 (27:54):
Yes, thank you very much.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
Sounds like you're in your car. You wheels up?
Speaker 11 (28:01):
Yes, I am.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
Where are you headed?
Speaker 12 (28:04):
I'm heading to court?
Speaker 1 (28:06):
I have court day today, Court day? Oh are you
in court or you work at the court.
Speaker 8 (28:12):
I work in the court.
Speaker 4 (28:13):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
Because Ryan's eyes got jig like like.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
Yeah court ordered thought you were on the stand. I
wake up every morning and watch Justice Judy.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
Oh.
Speaker 6 (28:20):
Yeah, it's her new show, Judge Judy. I'm obsessed with
court right now.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
Yeah, very excited. She mainly takes on dog cases. Now,
oh really custody of dogs and such.
Speaker 1 (28:30):
Okay, yes, well, have a great day at work. You
just made one thousand dollars just by listening and college.
Speaker 16 (28:38):
Thank you very much.
Speaker 9 (28:39):
So well.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
We do it every single weekday morning at eight twenty
and Ryan hit my gavel, but I don't think it's
the right gavel. We were actually gifted a gavel because
we were doing you know, like court cases and things
like that. But it's it was ingreat whenever our listeners
called with this so we could do it. But it's okay.
Speaker 2 (29:01):
Justice Allen says, you're a winner.
Speaker 4 (29:04):
No hold on, no, that was bad.
Speaker 1 (29:07):
Yeah, our live one is better.
Speaker 11 (29:09):
It's the L and K Morning Shell.

Yes, good morning. I've been listening to your program and
Coast for almost seven years since relocating to California from Texas,
and every Christmas I listen to your Christmas programs and
I'd like to know why I never hear any Chicago
Christmas songs. They put out at least four different albums
(30:21):
for Christmas music.
Speaker 1 (30:22):
Oh okay, I didn't know that Chicago made four Christmas albums.
Thank you Connie for that talk back. He makes a
good point. I don't know that we have played a
Chicago holiday song yet this season till now. According to Connie,
we never have. Is this a first on Coast? Yeah,

They can't connect with community.
Speaker 23 (32:29):
And I was listening on the radio and I'm over

Top stories top the Hour, Good Morning of Ellen k
and they're happening from Maryland to here. There are car
sized drones that were spotted over southern California. National Security
Coordinator John Kirby says, we really have no idea where
they're coming from.
Speaker 24 (33:22):
The Department of Homeland Security and the FBI are investigating
these sightings and they're working closely with state and local
law enforcement to provide resources using numerous detection methods to
better understand their origin.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
Where are they coming from, what are they doing? Hey,
and there's a scientist who claims to know how many
minutes of life you lose every time you eat a cheeseburger, hotdog,
or drink a coke. There's a big study done by
this nutritionist, Luis Zamora, and he said unhealthy products actually
take years off your life. A hot dog can cost
you thirty six minutes. If you wash that down with
(33:54):
the soda, you're shaving off another twelve minutes from your life.
You love pershudo or cured meats, that could cost you
twenty four minutes of life. I love egg McMuffin, so
egg and breakfast sandwiches. We're third. They shave thirteen minutes
off someone's healthy lifespan. The study just out, just out,
And what about this. While the space community is looking
(34:15):
ahead to the end of the International Space Station in
twenty thirty one, Jeff Bezos is looking ahead at something new.
His own one hundred billion dollars space station, called Orbital Reef,
is being designed for research projects as well as space tourism.
It'll have a hotel and a whole community, maybe even
a mall. He says. That should be done in about
five years. And do not forget. The Long Beach International
(34:36):
Tamali Festival is back tomorrow. It's not just a national thing,
it's international, so people coming from around the world to,
you know, show off all things Tomalas. And again is
all weekend long begins tomorrow in Long Beach and a
beautiful weekend ahead. Kind of cooler today, but it gets hotter.

it's been true in this room. Just disappear. Women won't
do that. Why is that, Lynnette?
Speaker 20 (42:02):
You know what?
Speaker 25 (42:02):
Because they're used to if they're married to his Panics
or Puerto Ricans. The goodbye is another thirty minutes the
good The goodbye is the time to make plans for
the next time we're going to meet. And then after
we say that, we leave, and then we come back
