in the studio even throughout the day, we're always checking
in on each other. How you doing, how you feeling,
You've been okay, you doing okay? You know, our friends,
our family. It's important. And one thing this is scientifically
proven we can do before we go to bed. The
last thing you should do. I love this is listen
to your favorite song. Oh, if you listen your favorite song,
(07:30):
you're gonna sleep, You're gonna fall asleep faster, you're gonna
sleep harder, and you're gonna wake up in the morning.
This is proven in a better mood and have a
more productive next day.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
That's cool. So you're kind of like loading your brain,
that's it. And then you wake up just feeling great.

And then you wake up just feeling so very fresh.
I love that.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
We used to always say. You know, when Calvin was
in elementary school, he said, you come home. When I'd
say what was your best and your worst thing today,
we'd start with the worst and then go to the best. Yeah,
but now I'll just tell him play your favorite song.

It's a magical number, It's a magical day. And yes,
the Dodgers are great at winning. We went on that
eer eleven innings to get it done, that wild infield,
walk off, the broken bat. But I got to tell
you the Dodgers also have taken the champagne shower in
the locker room to a next level. The goggles they'll
(08:42):
slip and slide and for the first time in history
team has ever advanced on in error.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
So what's next? Who's next?
Speaker 2 (08:48):
The Cubs or Brewers or our final stop before the
World Series? Feels so good to say that, And we'll
find out the winner of that matchup tomorrow, whoever it is.
Game one will be on a Monday and lots of
people weren't overly thrilled when Lebron james second decision announcement
turned out to be nothing but an ad for Hennessy.
In case you missed it, Lebron teased that he was
set to make a major choice this week. Super cryptic.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
This is what it wound up being in Miss Fall.
Speaker 6 (09:13):
Man, this is tough in Miss Fall.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
I'm gonna be taking my talents to hennessyvsop Okay. Big letdown.
But now he's being sued over it.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
Twenty nine year old Andrew Garcia, lifetime Laker fan, is
taking King James to the court for eight hundred and
fifty seven dollars. Garcia said he assumed James was gonna
announce his retirement, so we bought Lakers tickets to see
Lebron one final time. He is claiming fraud, deception, and misrepresentation. Also,
Lebron is injured. He will not make Opening night for
the Lakers. It is his Sciatica and the Savannah Bananas
(09:44):
are expanding with the launch of their new Banana Ball
Championship League. It's the BBCL twenty twenty six. Two new teams,
the Local Beach Coconuts and the Indianapolis Clowns. The organization
is also building a new clubhouse to support the increased
number of teams, and is planning and expanse a world
tour next year that will visit forty five states. So
(10:04):
we'd go Savannah Bananas valued at a billion dollar company.

your Friday clouds, early highs around ninety weekend looks downright delicious,
seem Valley. You go to eighty five today Southgate, you'll

I just wanted to tell you guys. Yes, it's very
important to reach out to friends and everything as far
as mental health, but it's also so, so so important
for the person themselves if they're dealing with something to
reach out. I know it's super hard to reach out,
but there's help out there. There's people out there to listen,
(11:56):
there's stuff you can take, there's so much that can
help you. You know, doing ending it all is permanent.
I just had an uncle that just passed away last
month because of that, and it's just so prominent.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
Well, I got to tell you, Jenny, it's a great
message on World Mental Health Day. We're your feel good
station and we know that you've been through a lot
as a breast cancer survivor. You have been on the
edge and you've had to rely on yourself. But it's
good to know that you know you're giving the message.
Reach out to others. It's hard to ask for help.

It's super hard, very hard.

reduce the stigma. Talk about it. If you're struggling, say hey,
I don't feel good, organize, get together. It's always good
to even to hear someone who makes you happy like it.

group chat because like we're all checking in on each other. Yeah,

local woman accused of meeting men online then burglarizing their homes.
Adra Lavi, also known to use aliases like mia, Ventura
and Shawna. Authorities alleged that Adva targeted older men while
posing as a girlfriend they met on dating apps once
in the fake relationship, she'd steal anything she could.
Speaker 1 (28:29):
Thing is police know who she is, but not where
she is.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
She's five seven, super thin, one hundred and four pounds,
brown hair, brown eyes. She's driving a stolen black Porsche
or also stolen white Mercedes, so she is on the lamb.
And a survey of two thousand adults found that many
struggle with essential adulting tasks, going from a appliance repayer
to toolbox use, also cooking and using a toaster. Twenty
(28:54):
one percent cannot handle basic cooking tasks like boiling eggs
or making scrambled eggs, even toasting toast. Seventy percent of
people who took the polls that they also don't know
how to repair anything, especially when it comes to sewing
a button.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
So I guess some life skills are lacking. And we
have the fiftieth.

to chime in here, my son Calvin, he loves this
comedian Tim Robinson.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
I love Tim Robinson. I know you doo.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
Okay, so he heard you talk about Tim Robinson.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
Tim Robinson is got a series on HBO and it's
on tonight at ten. It's a series premiere of The
Chair Company. So it's a comedy, of course, because that's
what Tim Robinson does. He's a spy investigating an elaborate
conspiracy after an embarrassing workplace incident.
Speaker 1 (30:54):
There is not for the family.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
And there's a lot of profanity, yeah in the trailer,
multiple f bombs. So if you're into that kind of comedy.
And I talked to Calvin about this after I was like, okay,
but he knows you'll love.
Speaker 3 (31:09):
It, right, Yeah, so good.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
Yeah, but it's a watch.

Speaker 2 (31:30):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (31:31):
You can't tell if it's cake or not.
Speaker 3 (31:32):
You can't, you can't. And all of these incredible bakers
they come together and make these hyperrealistic looking cakes and
this is all about Halloween things. So it's like, you know,
you've got your gargoyles and your creepy dolls and your
clowns and your ravens and your cauldrons and things. There's
even a Wonka episode. They just dropped like a creepy
willy Wonka t I love that. That is so cool
and it's a fun thing. It's a you know, contestants
(31:54):
compete to try to fool judges, to trick them right,
and they're like, is that cake or is it the
real object?
Speaker 1 (31:59):
And so do they mostly get fooled or do they
This is about half and half okay, by half and
a half. Oh my gosh, this is cool. So it's
what's it called again?
Speaker 3 (32:08):
It's called is it cake Halloween?
Speaker 1 (32:10):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (32:10):
And by the way, today is National Cake Decorating down.
Speaker 1 (32:12):
Oh, it's a good one.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
For the family. Can watch it. It's good, it's fair
all right.
Speaker 7 (32:17):
Yeah, I'm on the same vibe, Ryan, I'm going through
the Food Network. This is Halloween Wars season fifteen. Same thing.
The teams compete for twenty five thousand. They have to
carve pumpkins and make cakes and pastries and it's basically pumpkins, cake, sugar.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
It's all fun.
Speaker 7 (32:33):
Yeah, it's fun watching the judges eat like worms and
ears and eyeballs and stuff like that. So it's just
good to have on around the house, Halloween Wars, Food
Network season fifteen.
Speaker 3 (32:44):
It's great, all.
Speaker 4 (32:45):
Right, all right, I'm driving to shondaland over on Hulu now.

Speaker 2 (33:48):

Speaker 2 (33:50):
See, he's just had a good heart and he hides
into toys r us And here's the thing. It's a
rom com and it's good for everyone. So Channing Tatum,
it's called roof man.

He does.
Speaker 2 (34:01):
He's torn because he meets someone, Christen Duns and there's
a love interest there.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
I've never carried a phone. Mm hmm. That would be
one way to live, you know, just you don't have
someone else has it for you.
Speaker 3 (34:54):
Think of that panic we feel even now, like if
you don't if you don't know where it is, for
like ten seconds, you're like, where's my phone?
Speaker 9 (34:59):
You know what?
Speaker 1 (35:00):
There's a there's a hack out today, right.
Speaker 2 (35:02):
I'm glad you brought that up because they say, like
