Minutes ago, I just got an email, okay from our CEO.
Oh yeah, it's not a mass email, just to you. Yeah,
I don't know if you meant to send it tonight.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
Well, you want to read it, you want to share it.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
Dear Ryan, I'll leave out names and places, okay, Blank
and I are hosting a small gathering in my suite
tonight after the show the iHeart Radio Music Festival for
a group of fun people. You're invited, Bob.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
How nice? Good? I'm an rs VP right now.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
I will right now. Wow, I've never been invited to
a CEO party before.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
I don't know if you should go. Yeah, I'll.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
I'm representing you, Ellen.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
Oh no, Bob, please I apologize in advance. So no, okay,
Well I'll tell you who else will be there, maybe
even at the CEO party. Gwen Stefani, Dua Lipa, Chris Martin. So,
Chris Martin, he stops by all the time. We love you, Chris,
(01:13):
we love cold Play, But I wondered, you know about
a singing voice? Was he born with it when he
was born? Did he let out just a beautiful golden voice?
He responded, I.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
Heard that when I first cried, like it stopped raining
and the whole village came to a standstill.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
But that might just be my dad telling me, Fibbs
the angel sing mine see you tonight. Thank God it's Briday.
Thank God, it's.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
Thank god.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
There's more feel good Friday.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
Easier to wake up to Coast one oh three point bot,
you can leave us.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
Your happiness hack on a top back on the free
iHeartRadio app. All of that just rhymed what's gotten into me?
It's Friday. It's so good your happiness hack Ryan, bring
it okay?
Speaker 2 (02:24):
So I guess this makes sense when you really think
about the effect that this thing does to our bodies.
But science says, next time you're feeling really sleepy, this
is great for like you said, Ellen, those moments you
just can't wake up. Yeah, or God forbidden We've all
been there. If you're driving and oh my gosh, hold
your breath as long as you possibly can, it will
(02:47):
wake you up.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Your body freak out.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
It's exactly what your heart rate triggers because your brain
doesn't realize what's happening, and it thinks it's not getting
what it needs, so your whole system just goes Okay,
I'm awake.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
These are mind tricks.
Speaker 6 (03:03):
Can I confess something? When I was eighteen years old,
my first car, it was eleven months old, I fell
asleep at the wheel d and I crashed into the
car in front of me. I remember I was on
the sixty freeway in La Puente, passing the mall and
it was drizzling, and I had just come back from
downtown La going really slow, bumper to bumper.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
But I just, you know, it.
Speaker 6 (03:24):
Totally soothed me and I passed out. Yeah, woke up
to feeling the crash. I hit the guy's tired. Luckily
it wasn't too bad. My car got worse damage, and
after that I learned the very expensive lesson. Thank God
everyone was safe. But now when I feel one little
bit of sleepiness, I pull over, close my eyes for
(03:46):
five to ten minutes and I promise you you feel
like okay, I can get back on the road and
you feel awake again. Like five to ten minutes can
save your life if you're feeling that.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
That's important, or you could try my hack hold your breath.
Speaker 7 (04:02):
Right.
Speaker 3 (04:02):

Speaker 4 (04:35):
Host one O three point five.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Forty two years ago, hospital workers took Maria Angelica Gonzalez's
son right from her arms after birth. He was born prematurely.
They later told her that he had died, and now
just a couple of weeks ago they met face to
face at her home in Chile. Oh, it's unbelievable. His
(05:09):
name is Jimmy. He had those first conversations with his mom.
Speaker 8 (05:14):
She says, LeHo, you have no idea the oceans.
Speaker 7 (05:18):
I've cried for you.
Speaker 8 (05:20):
How many nights I've laid awake, praying that God let
me live long enough to learn what happened.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
To you, son? Jimmy mother Maria. His journey to find
the birth family he never knew began, and when he
read new stories about chile and born adoptees who had
been reunited with their birth relatives with the help of
a Chilean nonprofit. It's called Nospuskamo, so it's we seek right,
So he knew he was born in Chile. He knew
that he'd been adopted, so he thought, you know what
(05:47):
I'm going to do it. I'm going to find out
where is my mother. I'm going to find my mama.
At the age of forty two, he found her and
they were just reunited. He had been born prematurely, placed
in an incubator. Maria was told to leave the hospital.
When she came back for her baby, they said he
has died, but he was very much alive. And then
(06:09):
adopted out and wow, what a reunion.
Speaker 8 (06:14):
Now, do you hug someone in a way that makes
up for forty two years? Hugs forty two years robbed
from us, all crashing into this moment, forty two years,
but not forty three.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
Nope, Oh man, I hope that more to land born
adoptees go through Nosbuskamo's and find their birth mothers so
we can have more feel good reunions like this. Jimmy
and Maria. I don't think they've stopped tugging, and they
never will.
Speaker 3 (06:47):

Job interview This helps a man and hurts a woman.
A firm handshake.

Speaker 6 (07:25):
Guess at admitting they have a family.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
Oh that's a cool too.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
I was gonna say a great haircut. A man can
get away with it, but a woman looks like she's
trying too hard. Maybe yeah, or desperate?
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Sure, what's the answer.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
Well, the answer is neither and none of those. If
they're wearing a wedding ring. Oh, if you're a man,
it helps you in a job interview. If you're a woman,
it hurts you. That just that's not right. That's an injustice.
Not on a Friday. We're gonna make it easy for you,
be colored toy. Just call that's justice. Okay, eight hund

you go to a job interview, you're wearing a wedding ring.
You do really great. If you're a woman. You don't
do great, So thank you so much for everyone who called.
We gave it away to Color twenty Seinfeld in Vegas.
A huge fan of Jerry Seinfeld. My son Calvin gravitated
(08:38):
towards Seinfeld episodes a long time ago. And then he
made his voicemail recording on his phone, I think in
middle school. I keep in mind he's twenty two.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
Right, and he still has this. This as his VM
matching George, Yes.
Speaker 5 (09:06):

(09:53):
Gold are five times c IF Southern Section champions, and
we are live from La Puente, right, now Bishop of
Mott playing Rancho Kucamonga High at Keeper Stadium seven pm tonight.
How are you feeling, coach?
Speaker 7 (10:07):
I feel good. I'm excited about the opportunity to play
good quality teams. So that's kind of what we need.
We're a young team and we need to grow up,
and good teams help you do that.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
What advice are you telling your team before the game?
Are you one of those Are you one of those
locker room fire up guys? Or are you the all
week long I don't need to talk in the locker
room guy.
Speaker 7 (10:30):
Yeah, I am definitely the ladder there. I'm not a
you know, I'm pretty level, you know, throughout the whole week.
So I'm much more of the message every day guy.
I'm not the fire brimstone guy on Friday nights for sure.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
So we're hearing from most of our winning as coaches
they say that, look, game day really isn't the day.
It's leading up to game day. We need the confidence
and we need the plan and we need to be together.
And so if we haven't done that by Friday, you
know what's the point.
Speaker 7 (11:00):
You're absolutely right, I'm going to hire you.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
Thank you, coach Kesh.
Speaker 7 (11:08):
Yeah, they you know, if I if we don't have
it thick. But that's why I'm so more relaxed at
the end of the week that our work is done.
It's just time to go play. And and we want
the kids to uh play with velocity. And sometimes when
you think too much, it slows you down. And so
by that time, I tell them, let's let's let it rip.
It doesn't matter, just let it go. I'm you know,
(11:30):
it doesn't matter to talk about it now. So we've
either got it done or we don't by that time,
and I just let go, you know, and let the
kids play.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
Let's let it rip, all right. Coach. Yeah, we always
we always love to be you know, imagine ourselves in
the locker room and there's music playing. What's the big
fire up song?
Speaker 7 (11:49):
Gosh that you know what that's that's hard because there's
such a you know, I'm sixty two years old. So
what kids listen to today and what I listened to
like so much different. But I mean, you know, I
mean for them, as long as it's clean, you know,
it's okay, right, you know, because that that is something
(12:12):
that uh, you know, being from the philosophy and mission
of our school is not something where you know we're
gonna be uh, you know, the lyrics gotta be okay,
you know. But I remember like a Phil Collins song
like you can Feel It in the Air tonight. I
kind of feel like that's such an appropriate song for
a Friday night football game.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
You know, Ryan, what do you think drum solo right now?
Speaker 2 (12:35):
Yeah? We pick it up right there.
Speaker 7 (12:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (12:41):

Speaker 1 (13:02):
Even thought about Halloween costume yet. I do think Beetlejuice
is going to be big because Beetlejuice. Beetle Juice came
out and just did really well. So there's a whole
new generation now embracing the Michael Keaton Beetle Juice character.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
I think if we're doing a work contest, I think
it's high time we go low. Well, this has been
going on for about nine years, and every time anyone
dresses up here for a costume contest. The winner always
has the most skin showing.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
Oh no, so now we have to do body paint.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
I'm just saying. We try to get creative and clever, yeah,
and come in the bottom two every year.
Speaker 1 (13:34):
I know, right, Like remember when we were an entire
football team and field.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
It was so elaborate and wholesome, I know. And then
Hoko walks out in avatar body paint, everything showing, and.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
What do you know? Yeah, we lost. She won. Took
very little effort for her. If you have any ideas
for us, I mean, we need to We need to
clinch this because we're we always we overthink it and
we like spend so much time and energy on it,
and it's always, in my opinion's super clever. And then
we lose.
Speaker 6 (14:06):
Ye, Okay, how about Christmas gifts.
Speaker 1 (14:09):
Darling, there's no skin in Christmas gifts. We want to win,
not lose. Cute idea, not going to get the gold.
