Speaker 1 (01:07):
Okay, Irvine just topped another list.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Yeah, it was the uh safest city anything like that. Yeah,
Irvine wins everything.

Speaker 7 (01:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
I saw the other day they have the first cyber
truck two.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
For the exactly when Irvine has everything and they have
you too, and so now we really know they have everything.
I oh, we love that you listen and wake up
with us.

Speaker 8 (01:33):
Thank you, all right, thank god, it's thank God, it's time, and.

our hat and possibly be there tonight Dodgers Padres Game
five n l D okay, so just listen for Vin
to win. We also have your Cash on Coast coming up.
And the most handsome men in the world haven't chosen.

(02:10):
They're all actors. So I've got the list here in
front of me, and it's gonna be a big box office.
A really creepy clown is coming to win it. Not
the Joker either, it's a different killer clown. I guess
they're both killed clowns. Anyway, Inside entertainment, it's the Ellen
k Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
You guys are great to listen to, great energy.

Speaker 9 (02:30):
Cost one O three point five, three point five inside entertainment.

Speaker 5 (02:35):
With me, all right.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
A study has found that Aaron Taylor Johnson, allegedly the
next James Bond, the actor, is officially the most handsome
man in the world. There's a doctor named Julian da Silva.
He's a facial cosmetic surgeon based in London. He used
the Greek Golden ratio of beauty to uncover the ten
most handsome men in the world. It's a mathematical equation
the Greeks used a long long time ago to kind

(02:58):
of equate beauty and in attempt to measure beauty. The
closer the ratio of a face or body are to
the number one point six, the more beautiful they become.
So according to to Silver, what makes Taylor Johnson so
handsome and google him if you don't know who he
is a Britge actor. He's beautiful is the overall shape
of his face. The width and length of his nose

(03:19):
is perfect, and he has a beautifully sculpted chin. All
of his scores were super strong, except for his ice
facing the gap between his nose and lip, and his
lips didn't match what the Greeks thought was perfect, So
I mean this is super specific. Also on the list
of the most handsome men in the world, see if
you agree. Rob Pattinson, George Clooney, I totally agree with

(03:40):
this one. Idris elba Idris, give us some more womp.
He's a DJ also besides an actor.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Hey, by the way, speaking of handsome you and Mario
Lopez and Mark Wahlberg yesterday in Hollywood Boulevard so great.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
It's a whole trio of good looking folks.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
You you know, and Oscar was there as well, and
they're all really good friends. But Mark and Mario are
like brothers. And it was in front of Wallberger's and
they both claim to not they don't. They thought it
was a coincidence that Mario star is in front of
his best friend's restaurant.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
I don't know about that. You guys, come, what can
you tell us?

Speaker 3 (04:19):
So you're there with them all day yesterday as Mario's
getting a star on his birthday, you hosted What did
you have a takeaway from?

Speaker 5 (04:26):
Like their interactions?

Speaker 7 (04:28):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (04:28):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (04:28):
What is absolutely Mario was wearing a suit with sneakers,
and then Wahlberg came with a baseball cap and his
sneakers weren't tied, and he said that he had just
come from a golf game. But what I did notice
about them, is they talk without talking really, Yeah, you
know what I mean. It's that silent communication you have

(04:49):
with someone you're super close to. And then Mario told
in a beautiful story about how when he was is
Mario Lopez, When he was just a kid and he
lived in Chula Vista, his dad would drive three or
four hours to get to an audition because they couldn't
zoom five minute audition and get in the car and
drive back, and his mother quit her job to be
on set with him when he got his first job. Amazing,

(05:10):
it was just his whole family was there. It was beautiful.
His kids were hugging his leg and it was it
was a really beautiful day. And then he had a
big birthday party. It was his birthday as well. So
congrats to you, our buddy, Mario Lopez, our brother here
on iHeartRadio, all right, and then the box office today,
Terrifier three arrives. Reviews on Rotten Tomatoes are seventy seven

(05:30):
percent fresh. It's rated R. It went unrated for a while,
but it's an R and France gave it the equivalent
of an NC seventeen because there's a lot of gory violence.
It's a killer clown and it might take over the
other killer clown Joker, so it's going to be kind
of neck and neck for them. But I really love
this one PG. It's piece by piece for l Williams. Yes,

(05:54):
his documentary told with lego figures and Gwen Stefani's depict
it as a lego. She's in the movie daf Punk,
timbaland Kendrick lamar Go finished in the five million range.
Also the SNL Origin Story. But everything is awesome? Is
that bah Park Belt family film?

Speaker 10 (06:17):
It's the L and K Morning Show.

Speaker 7 (06:19):
It's like having breakfast with good friends.

Speaker 10 (06:20):
When I listened to You'll thank you host one oh
three point five?

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Hi, good morning.

Speaker 10 (06:26):
Who's this?

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Good morningre Hey? Eric?

Speaker 1 (06:30):
Where are you calling.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
From from Medfie?

Speaker 1 (06:33):
All right, what's going on today?

Speaker 4 (06:35):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Okay, what do you do?

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Uh? I worked for the City of Marina Valley.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
All right, well, Eric, thank you. Your car is extremely quiet.

Speaker 5 (06:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
Did you see Elon Musk's event last night? He had
the robotaxi and it has no steering wheel. No, I
did not, Yeah, he unveiled it was a really cool
what was his called we Robot We Robot.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Yeah, and oddly We'll be able to purchase these for
under thirty thousand dollars. I mean it's like, think of
like a cyber truck, but just smaller two seater.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
Is it safe for us to have something with that, asteerio.

Speaker 5 (07:12):
I have no idea.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
He claims that these are safer than humans driving cars.
So yeah, it was pretty cool. He did it right
here at Warner Brothers, and he took over the town
and there was a lot of commotion and fun. Anyway,
you're on the road now in a very quiet car,
and you got a four pack tacuza.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Yeah, oh nice. Thank you, thank you, and.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Thank you for running the city of Moreno Valley.

Speaker 9 (07:39):
It's good Friday here on the L and K Morning Show.
Coast one oh three point five.

Speaker 10 (07:43):
It's the l and K Morning Show. Good morning Coast QTS.

Speaker 7 (07:47):
That's my new name for you, Coast QTS.

Speaker 10 (07:50):
By Coast one point five.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
There is so thick in some areas that our live
cams are fogged out. Can't even see ah, So be
careful as you drive around. It's your happiness hacked for life. Also,
all morning long, it's Vin to Win. Listen for Vin
Scully when you hear him. Be color twenty. We're gonna
put your name in a hat and we are drawing
a name at nine ten this morning to be at

(08:14):
Dodger game five tonight in the ravine.

Speaker 5 (08:16):
What's new, pussy Cat?

Speaker 1 (08:18):
What is new, pussy Cat?

Speaker 5 (08:20):
Didn't you have cats at one point?

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Oh? I did? Yeah? I had three at one time.

Speaker 5 (08:26):
You also had rats, too, right, yeah, yes I did.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
I didn't have the cats on the rats at the
same time, but I had the rats, and I had
to hide them from my landlord. But they were Cafe
and Ola and they were so loving and we would
watch TV together. I was single and lonely.

Speaker 5 (08:41):
What did they do? Okay? So Cafe and Ola and
you and Ellen.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Yeah, they love to cuddle. They're super affectionate. They'd like
to sit one on each shoulder. They loved it, and
they would nuzzle into my neck. And I was not
a cat lady but a rat lady.

Speaker 5 (08:54):
Right okay, And then we moved on to Cat's. Would
you ever get a cat again?

Speaker 7 (08:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (08:58):
I would, I would cats. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
By the way, Gwen Stefani will be here live at
eight oh five this morning.

Speaker 5 (09:04):
She just got a cat.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
Corn corn Corn just wandered on to her property in
Oklahoma out of nowhere. I mean, she said she lives
so remotely in Oklahoma that you have to take a
helicopter to get there.

Speaker 5 (09:16):
That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
Yeah, and there's this cat, this skinny, almost dead cat,
and they rescued Corn, and now Corn is a little monster.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
So I have taken us so far off course, I'm sorry.
This is your happin attack. And it's all about cats
and kitty litter. Oh okay, So even if you don't
have cats, you don't have a reason to buy kitty litter.

Speaker 5 (09:35):
Now you do.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
So.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
Experts say if you put a little bowl of kitty
litter in your fridge, it will neutralize odors. You will
never have a snank coming from your fridge.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
That makes so much sense. We need to do that here, Yeah,
we do, because if there's something super garlikey, we're here
early in the morning and someone has saved their pasta
from the day before, and we open the refrigerator, you're
overwhelmed by garlic.

Speaker 5 (09:56):
It hits you. Yeah, conch's you right in the face,
it does.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
So you just get that kitty letter. Someone's gonna say,
who put a bowl of kitty litter in the company's
brae it's.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
For your own good coworkers. Also, you can sprinkle it
at the bottom of your trash can. That's a good
I'll never stink.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
Oh I just never knew these. Thank you so much, Ryan.

Speaker 5 (10:13):
Just try it, Hey Ellen, push this button?

Speaker 1 (10:15):
Which way?

Speaker 5 (10:16):
This one right here?

Speaker 4 (10:18):
Catch time for dodger Bag.

Speaker 10 (10:22):
The llen K Morning Show on Coast one o three
point five. It's the l and K Morning Show.

Speaker 5 (10:27):
I love you guys.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
You are wonderful and you and hunts my morning and
you enhance ours by being there.

Speaker 10 (10:33):
Coast one oh three point five.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
And here are your top stories. Okay, so lots of
celebrities giving money for everyone in Florida. Five million from
Taylor Swift, one hundred grand from Tom Brady, and we
have the latest. The Coast Guard is currently doing air
rescues off the coast of Florida. In one case, last night,
they found a fourteen year old boy floating alone on
a cooler. He's okay. And then there's this A Tampa

(10:57):
family who fled to Miami came home last night to
find an alligator chilling in their kitchen. Another growing concern
is that some may use this mess for personal gain,
also in terms of what a financial fiasco Florida is
facing will be Governor Rean Desantas says it's way too
early to even speculate.

Speaker 3 (11:14):
Probably, how would Wall Street analysts be able to know
it's been dark all day?

Speaker 5 (11:18):
What you just gonna know that you're going to do?
I mean, like, give me a break on some of
this stuff.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Yeah, he's assessing right now. And the good news is
Milton has broken up back in the Atlantic, a weak
little baby storm. Not only is did he not getting
out of prison on his third appeal, He just received
his first court date May fifth, That is about two
hundred and six days away. Puffy will stay behind bars
before facing a judge in Manhattan on all of these
horrible charges. Sean Combs is entered a plea of not guilty.

(11:43):
So now we wait. And there was a study that
did the best and worst chain restaurants. Chick fil A
is named the best super chain, so one of the
biggest Chick fil A number one five guys to Jerseys.
Mike Subbs is number three. As for smaller fast food
spots in an outburger, Clacking is the best medium sized
Shane and it is Yom Kapoor. The day of atonement.

(12:05):
It's fast Day, the holiest day of the year, and
the first day of it is the day of atonement.
For on this day he will forgive you. That is
everyone observing. Yam Kapoor observed from several minutes before sunset
tonight after nightfall, and we're looking at one of the
nicest days of the week too. A lot of heavy fog,
sunny with a light breeze tumps around eighty five downy

(12:25):
Dodger Stadium. You'll both see eighty five for your eyes.
And right now it is sixty five and Burbank. We
run on Celsius Energy drinks Kost Los Angeles. It's Coast
one oh three point five more cash on coast coming up.

Speaker 10 (12:39):

and smiling.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Host one oh three point five dodd your game tonight,
you have your way in. All the lines are ringing.

Speaker 7 (13:00):
Hi, Hi, I'm just calling in to uh win some
Vin Scully.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
Uh right, listen for Vince Scully to say it's time
for Dodger baseball.

Speaker 7 (13:13):
Good morning.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
So so we haven't played Vin recently, but but we
will coming up.

Speaker 7 (13:18):
Okay, Hi Hi Hi, Hi, uh, mister Secret.

Speaker 5 (13:23):
What's it?

Speaker 2 (13:24):
I said?

Speaker 7 (13:25):
Hi? Good morning, mister Secret.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
Oh oh oh this is Ryan man Oh. Ryan Seacrest
is Yeah. So, so what happened was Ryan Seacrest and
I worked together for many years and then I walked
down the hall and started my own show here on Coast,
And so Seacrest is on Kiss and then my co
host is Ryan Mano and they both are named Ryan,
and they both have green eyes, and they both have
dad's named Gary.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
How No, it's fine, it's been it's been about nine years.

Speaker 5 (13:52):
But I don't I don't expect you to keep track.
But Ellen and I a different Ryan is and we're
all friends.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
We all love each other, and you are doing a
tremendous job for almost a decade separately.

Speaker 5 (14:07):
We love you.

Speaker 7 (14:08):
I need a wake up.

Speaker 5 (14:09):
Yeah, it's fine, I know, he's fine. I'm your ear good.

Speaker 7 (14:12):
I've been living in the cave for so long.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
Sorry, welcome out of the cave, and we're happy that
you are here with us on Coast. H.

Speaker 7 (14:18):
I am so happy too, guys, thank you for welcoming.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
Of course all are welcome. It's Vinda Winn hitting a
lot of calls. We're gonna put your name in a
hat when you're called twenty when you hear Vin. And
then at nine ten we draw a winner who will
be at the game tonight in the ravine five a
weight first pitch, it'll be about seventy five degrees or so.
And it is Friday Morning Lights. Focus on the Home

(14:43):
of the Friars survied, Hi, Get ready for a head
coach Chris Reinert.

Speaker 10 (14:47):
Next Wake up with ellen K.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
Hi, this is Tiffany Hattison. You're listening to the Ellen
k Morning Show on Coast one oh three point five.
She ready keep it girl, ca. We going out to you,
calling you high School Home of the Titans head coach
Brian's Evala, thank you for coming on Friday Morning Lights.

(15:10):
Hey coach, how are you?

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Thanks for having me.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
Yeah, we're doing great.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
How are you doing well? Doing well?

Speaker 7 (15:17):
Thank you? You know, just trying to grind and continue to,
you know, get one percent better every day. That's just
kind of our model kind of what we do here.
And you know Blue collar and just kind of old
school and with a little new school.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
So I love that one percent better every day. That's
a motto to live by for all people.

Speaker 7 (15:34):
Yeah, I try to do the same. And you know,
as coaches and teachers, you try to, you know, model
and emulate what you're saying you're doing. And that's what
we try to.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
Do here at Glendora High School. Tonight seven o'clock, we
say go Titans, Go, coach Brian Zavala And I'm just
a kind of a side question here to ask you.
I was at the Rams game the other day and
I noticed how giant some of these men are, and
I just wonder, how do we grow? How do we
grow these guys?

Speaker 7 (16:06):
That's a great question.

Speaker 1 (16:07):
I mean, seriously, these are these are humans who are
just there. It's a different it's a different kind of
human walking the planet. They are very large.

Speaker 7 (16:18):
You're so right, You're so right. Yes, you know, I've
been involved with sports my whole life, you know, played
high school college ball and then been coaching for the
last twenty six years. And and and I mean from
the time that we started, you know, I started coaching
my early career and now it's just the game has changed,
but the product has changed. I mean, and exactly what
you said. I mean, they're they're just bigger, faster, stronger.

(16:39):
I mean, our offensive line across the boards averages six four, six,
five to eighty. You know, it's the biggest offensive lines. Yes,
it's just and I'm very we're very fortunate.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
It's just.

Speaker 7 (16:49):
But that's the biggest offensive line I've had here in
like five years. I mean, it's just, you know, it
doesn't happen. But then you look across the field and
they have the same guy. So you, like you said,
I mean, every level, it just seems like it's bigger
and bigger and bigger.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
So you guys not only train in the gym and
on the field, you have to train in the kitchen
and when you sit down for a meal.

Speaker 7 (17:09):
Oh my gosh, yes, you know, we we we talk
about health nutrition. You know, we're big in the weight room.
We're big with health nutrition. And just give them the
right products to fulfill their body. You know, we do
you know, the protein, we do, the shakes, we do
the granola bars, We give the team meals, our coaches
take guys out and just hydration and just all the
important things that in order for the big body like

(17:29):
that to be able to perform on a daily basis.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
Eating whole chickens when you're not looking.

Speaker 7 (17:37):
I remember my I remember my my nanny used to say,
I'd rather clothe you than feed you. And I'm the
same way now. I'm like Tos's forward. I said, no, no,
that's the piece.

Speaker 12 (17:49):
But I know what you mean.

Speaker 7 (17:50):
Now, I know what you mean.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
Colony High, home with the Titans.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
And coach, you know, having been in locked rooms myself
growing up. Music is a huge part of it. So
let's assume, and I don't think this is true, but
the kids give you control of the music for it
for a night.

Speaker 5 (18:08):
I'm guessing they don't.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
But if they did, what are you putting on to
get yourself and your team pumped?

Speaker 7 (18:15):
Well, that's a great question, and you can relate. I
let them play their music, and it's different times and
different periods, but we kind of go out with the
I'm old school and they kind of relay a little bit,
you know, answer Samon by Metallica. I mean it's you know,
that's that's that rings the bell for us, all right,
I mean you're here, still here that in some of
the NFL teams that come out in that so just
trying to, you know, get them going and and try

(18:35):
different things. But you know, music does do get those
kids juices flowing.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
All right, he's got the massive O line. Watch out
for Brian Zavala and the Titans. Colony High, go to Titans.

Speaker 7 (18:49):
Yes, thank you, Thank you. You guys have a good one.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
Take care you take care. I love what you said.
Just try to get one percent better every day. That
a goal that we can all attain. Thank you so much. Coach,
go Coliny him plan Glendora seven pm tonight, Friday Morning Lights.

We're great.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
We are so happy that you have us on. Thank you.
Where you headed? Right now? To school? Oh?

Speaker 10 (21:16):
Hi kids?

Speaker 1 (21:18):
Hi, Hi, let's play the game. Okay, so half of
all women have this in their purse? What do you
guys say?

Speaker 2 (21:26):
Stick?

Speaker 1 (21:26):
Jap stick. That's a great guess. It is not the
right answer. I'm so sorry.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
Oh okay, thank you, have.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
A great day. Have fun at school, guys, Thank you,
thank you. We go now to Darryl. Let's see Darryl
of h Sanda Heights. Hi Daryl, hiy Daryl, Daryl. Are
you at work?

Speaker 10 (21:50):
I'm working at home.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
Okay, Well, thank you for having us on at work
at home? What is your guests? A mirror? Half of
all women have a mirror in their person. It's a
great guest, Daryl. A lot of people are saying mirror.
It is not the right answer.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
Ah, okay, thanks Daryl.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
Have a great day. We go now to Jessica of
Anaheim on the four oh five. Jessica, you call it
the four oh five, four hundred and five minute.

Speaker 7 (22:15):
Road on a good day, right.

Speaker 1 (22:20):
All right, Jessica, what's your guest? Half of all women
and you are one have this in their purse.

Speaker 10 (22:26):
I'm gonna guess sunglasses.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
Sunglasses is a really popular, great guest. It's not the
right answer. Oh boy, I have a good one. Just
pack your patients. On the four oh five, Crystal of Arcadia.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Hi you there, Crystal, Hi, good morning to everybody.

Speaker 5 (22:45):
Good morning Friday.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
Yeah, we're still looking for the right answer.

Speaker 5 (22:52):
What's your guest?

Speaker 2 (22:54):
Let's say pepper spray.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
Pepper spray. Okay, my husband gave me. It's a combo.
It's a all in one. It is a taser, flashlight,
pepper spray protection and it's in my purse. Nobody and you,
Crystal are right.

Speaker 5 (23:12):
It's pepper spray.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
Happa. All women have it in their purse. You are
going to Vegas.

Speaker 7 (23:24):
Yes, we all need.

Speaker 4 (23:25):
We all women all need.

Speaker 11 (23:26):
Because we were just in the park practicing, and there
were some preepy.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
Characters around, okay.

Speaker 7 (23:31):
And we were a group of women so we all
need something like that.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
Do you know if you get the taser flashlight pepper
spray combo. Just the sound of a taser makes shady
characters not want to come here. You. I like that
and taking that to the club. This pepper spray and

(23:55):
a taser doesn't hurt. But half of all women have
this in their purse. I mean, it tastes, it hurts,
but it wouldn't hurt to have one. But the answer
is pepper spray. Morban to win, to get to the
game tonight, I'm when Stefanie on Jeck.

Speaker 13 (24:14):
This is Jeremy Renner, This is Kate Hudson, This is
Joe Coy and I'm chilling with my home girl, Allen
K Morning Show, Ellen K Morning Show on Coast one
three point five.

Speaker 5 (24:23):
I love you so much.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
L just headed. When's Stefanie coming on lab with us?
It's your top stories top of the hour. I'm Ellen
Kay and Elon Musk Hell the Tesla launch event last
night right here on the Warner Brothers lot called we Robot.
He unveiled a new electric vehicle called the Cybercab, basically
a smaller sleeper two theater CYBERTUK the key takeaway is

(24:45):
at his new cybercab will be way more affordable. It's
launching next year at a price point below thirty grand.
The operating costs will be about twenty cents per mile.
That's compared to the current average of gascar a dollar
per mile. Elon acknowledged the rough reality for all of
us driving here in the Southland, people.

Speaker 14 (25:03):
That live in La I mean, you know, trying to
get from Pasadena to you know, El Segundo during rush hours,
like you can fly to you know, another city fashion
and you can get to cross down La.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
So true. And what about this byte Dance The parent
firm of TikTok comes in at the number one most
valuable private company on the planet. It's evaluation of two
hundred and twenty five billion dollars for byte Dance. They
do own TikTok. Number two is SpaceX, Number three is
Open AI. All right, we're looking at our nicest daily
week Sunday with the lib Breeze tempts around eighty five

(25:39):
Pasadena and Pomona. You see eighty five for your high
tonight for first pitch, it's going to be probably like
seventy five, and we're going to send you listen for
Vinda win. We're going to qualify you to be at
Game five tonight at the Ravine. All right, Gwen Stefani
coming up next, KOST Los Angeles. It's close one a
few point bive.

Speaker 10 (26:00):
It's the llen k Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (26:02):
I mean, it's so good this morning. Thank you.

Speaker 10 (26:05):
Coast three point five.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
She's here, but Stefani is in the house.

Speaker 12 (26:12):
Listen, like I walk in, there's a red carpet and
there's my song going. There's a pumpkin with my face
on it. It's like me and Blake here in a checkerboard.

Speaker 15 (26:20):
I mean, you just you spoil me.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
Oh well, you spoil us, Gwyn.

Speaker 10 (26:25):
We'll make another record.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
So all right, so what can you tell us about
the new song and album? And congrats?

Speaker 15 (26:32):
Thank you?

Speaker 12 (26:33):
Well it's it's been such a long time coming. I
know it feels like forever, but it went really fast.
I had a lot of things going on, healing, dealing,
like and I feel like I went. I think we
talked about this a little bit last time I was
heard with Purple Irises, because that was like the first
song that I wrote that sort of led me to
this record. Yeah, because it's like I had written all

(26:54):
this other stuff and went down all these different roads,
and it just didn't feel it didn't land, you mean,
And I think that just the creative process is just
so unpredictable. And you know, also it's not like I'm
full time, like okay, I'm in the studio.

Speaker 10 (27:09):
I guess it.

Speaker 12 (27:11):
I have like the mom thing number one, right, and
then all the other things. So just to find the
time to go in, I feel always would feel guilty,
like because also you go in and you don't know
if you're going to come out with something, like you
could waste like a whole day like trying to write
a song, and then then you go down that.

Speaker 15 (27:28):
Spiral of like I suck and I can't do deliver anything.

Speaker 12 (27:32):
But but once I kind of got to that place
where I was like, Okay, I know, I know what
this record is. It needs to me like me now,
Like it can't be me chasing me. It can't be
me competing with myself. It can't be me trying to
compete with anything out there. It has to be my honest,
true what's happening right now in like the kind of
music that I want to do, what I want to

(27:54):
listen to.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 15 (27:55):
So that's kind of what I was the inspiration for it.
I guess you.

Speaker 12 (27:59):
Were your I wanted to listen to if I wanted
to make something that I loved and that didn't feel
like something I'd already done.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
So are you a note taker diary taker? And then
you'll go in a room to write your songs and
look back at notes or.

Speaker 12 (28:14):
Sometimes yeah, I like a lot of times, like if
I'm working out and I'm listening to something else, like
it will it's I'm I feel like I kind of
have this dot to dot like inspiration where like one
thing will trigger one idea, Okay, so then I'll just
like put it down a text to myself and have
like just like lines or whatever like that. But so
other times I just, you know, it was really for

(28:34):
this record, finding the group of people that I felt
like I could really.

Speaker 15 (28:40):
Be supported in my.

Speaker 12 (28:41):
Ideas too, because like they're super talented on their own,
but like there's so many talented people I work with,
But if I don't feel like I can bring something
to it, then it never really has that truth, you
know what I'm saying. It felt like, yeah, like each
song was, like I said, like I really wanted it
to be. They were each hand picked for this album,
and it was like, after all this time, like after

(29:03):
all of the different like I don't know, different times
I tried to plant seeds and they didn't grow right,
like this is this is the ones, the special ones
that made the bouquet.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
Yeah, I love that And somebody Else's is a theme
song for so many people. Our Ryan here just went
through a break up.

Speaker 5 (29:20):
Yeah in June.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
Yeah no, no, no, he trust me, okay, and I'll
tell you what's fine?

Speaker 5 (29:27):
Ready for this?

Speaker 3 (29:27):
I wrote this down after I listened to the song,
and I pray for whoever they are.

Speaker 5 (29:31):
Every day with you was rock bottom.

Speaker 1 (29:34):
Wow that I.

Speaker 5 (29:36):
Felt that there is some good. Wow, so thank you.

Speaker 15 (29:40):
It's so funny.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
There is somebody else's can you relate? It's when Stefani
on coast like man was doing love.

Speaker 16 (30:00):
Doing all so bad.

Speaker 10 (30:02):
I know, I know, I don't know me.

Speaker 8 (30:07):
I was done with the man like you.

Speaker 10 (30:10):
Oh well no, I gotta love so true, but.

Speaker 16 (30:14):
I know, I know, I know I'm not crazy now
about I found the real saying you don't come by Okay,
if somebody else says and it doesn't even break.

Speaker 10 (30:33):
But if somebody.

Speaker 17 (30:35):
Else says, I can't drive a little the deal.

Speaker 6 (30:41):
You and you seem my god gross.

Speaker 16 (30:49):
If somebody else says, I didn't know that sound so.

Speaker 6 (30:55):
Fake could really make it hurt so real.

Speaker 10 (31:00):
Had to go and make giff.

Speaker 16 (31:01):
You look my fault, my fault, my fault, my whold.
If I could come back in time on a little issue,
I could never go back there.

Speaker 10 (31:14):
I look, you are better.

Speaker 1 (31:15):
It's a crazy Now you're dead to me.

Speaker 16 (31:21):
I seel so loved.

Speaker 8 (31:25):
And you're not many ida.

Speaker 16 (31:28):
If somebody else says and it doesn't even break down.

Speaker 17 (31:34):
If somebody else says, I'm drive the low of the
video you see my god looking Asser.

Speaker 13 (31:49):
If somebody else says, is you're somebody as.

Speaker 18 (32:17):
Narcissistic, some missacarding, someone belated. I've bought it ever time,
but not this time.

Speaker 16 (32:29):
You guess it my work.

Speaker 10 (32:31):
It was burning.

Speaker 1 (32:32):
Had to leave.

Speaker 18 (32:33):
Before a stub turning so heavy, archcracause.

Speaker 16 (32:38):
You're somebody us and it's a little break.

Speaker 10 (32:45):
No, you're somebody users contrival the.

Speaker 6 (32:54):
Nts see my God looking Asser.

Speaker 1 (33:11):
Gwen Stefani. Somebody else is a breakup theme song.

Speaker 5 (33:14):
Yeah, the lyrics You're dead.

Speaker 1 (33:16):
To me and I feel so alive. You went on
the radio, Gwen, Do you not just love hearing that?

Speaker 15 (33:24):
Being on the radio never gets old? Guys, And it's
gonna tell you that, right, yay, you know that true.

Speaker 1 (33:30):
It was this a long time.

Speaker 15 (33:31):
It's amazing day.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
You know it's always different. Every day is different. You know,
every time you come in it's different. And I'm sure
that every time you hear your song, it's different. You
may be you know, in your kitchen, or you might
be in your car. I think in the cars. It's
so fun.

Speaker 12 (33:46):
I think it's amazing because you know that there's a
people need people, right and people need like people like
that's why making the record is.

Speaker 15 (33:55):
It's like a confession and people need to confess share.

Speaker 12 (33:58):
I bounce off each other like we are here for
each other, like we that is why we are to
you know what I mean, only people.

Speaker 15 (34:05):
So to be on the radio, you know.

Speaker 12 (34:07):
That all these people are driving and listening and we're
all connecting and there's that energy right, Yeah, it's it's incredible.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
Yeah, I love it.

Speaker 12 (34:15):
I feel like music, like God chose me to do music,
so that's like my purpose. So like the songs, I
don't really feel responsible for the songs like they're literally
channeled down.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
And the voice. I'm sure you're having such a blast.
I mean, what what a great bunch of coaches. Every time,
like every season, when they come up with a new combination,
I'm always like, this is perfect. This is my favorite season. Really,
And then you come back and it's Snoop and it's
play and he's so in awe of you. Oh my,
randomly somewhere and all he talked about was you.

Speaker 15 (34:48):
Really, oh my gosh, she's so sweet.

Speaker 12 (34:50):
Well, I knew I was gonna love love him because
Blake and him are friends and I'd never met him,
but they're always texts and he's always like I love
that kid. I love that guy, Like they love each other,
like they have fun together and they did music together,
and so I kind of knew that that was gonna be.

Speaker 15 (35:07):
I was gonna love him. And Snoop I've met, but
I haven't really hung with. But I'm I'm like kind
of a super fan.

Speaker 12 (35:13):
Like to the point where I was like, I was
just gonna go like they're gonna need security on set
or am I gonna be all to be? I'm gonna
be like fumbling my words around him, like how much.
I didn't know how I was nervous about because I
love him so much. Everyone's so full of love, like
we pray in a circle before we go on, like
everybody wants to be there. Everybody is just like having

(35:34):
the time of their lives. Every time someone new comes on,
I get so excited because coaching, is it truly is
so fulfilling to watch people like like just I don't know,
like yeah, be able to help them, Like all you
have to do is just say, hey, do it like this,
try this, and they're like, oh my gosh, I didn't
you know.

Speaker 15 (35:52):
I didn't know I could do that. Or you see
them like really get better, and it's it's just a
very cool show.

Speaker 1 (35:57):
Well, Gwen, we love you. Thank you so much for
congrats on the new album, the new single somebody Else's
and we always love seeing you here, so please come
back soon.

Speaker 15 (36:07):
Thank you guys, and thanks for making it so ridiculously
you spoil me.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
This is so nice.

Speaker 15 (36:13):
Thank you so mu and everybody that's listened to the song,
thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
By the way, I.

Speaker 3 (36:17):
Want to walk you back five years ago that you
were saying how you never get told hearing yourself on
the radio.

Speaker 5 (36:21):
This is yourself about to hear yourself on the radio
in the background.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
Hold on, I'm to go listen.

Speaker 10 (36:26):
Are we really live right now?

Speaker 1 (36:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (36:28):
We're live three right now, go in the kitchen, Blake
in the background.

Speaker 15 (36:37):
What I was always trying to explain it, like what
coast means to me?

Speaker 12 (36:40):
Oh yeah, love songs on the coast and what I
grew up with it, like the times I've cried and driven,
like I mean, you have no idea, but he gets
it now.

Speaker 1 (36:51):
I love you. It's somebody else's Stefani.

Speaker 9 (36:54):

in the background.

Speaker 7 (37:29):

Speaker 5 (37:31):

First you're gonna hang on and then second you're gonna
make sure the Dodgers win.

Speaker 2 (39:08):

Speaker 7 (39:09):
They need to win.

Speaker 1 (39:10):
Yeah, that's right. Because if they don't, then but we
don't even need to think about that. And because you
will be their good luck charm. You manifested this. You
said out loud, I'm going to win. When Ryan drew
your name, I'm like she said it out loud in
the universe.

Speaker 5 (39:25):
That is, I really believe in that.

Speaker 1 (39:27):
I really believe you say what you intend and what
you you know, what you wish to happen.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
And God is good.

Speaker 7 (39:35):
And today's my husband's birthday.

Speaker 12 (39:36):

Speaker 1 (39:37):
Yes, what's his name?

Speaker 11 (39:43):

Speaker 6 (39:44):

Speaker 1 (39:44):
Can we call him? Like, let's play a song, let's

let us tell him?

Speaker 5 (43:08):
The third beats him, but he got his fighting In.

Speaker 4 (43:13):
The fiftieth th Tony.

Speaker 1 (43:17):
On a one two oh.

Speaker 12 (43:18):
Tony sais of the air the other way.

Speaker 7 (43:21):
Don't get goods good.

Speaker 13 (43:27):
One of the kidding player, one of.

Speaker 10 (43:30):
The killing season.

Speaker 4 (43:32):
So here honey starts the fifty fifty time one out
from a division title, a cop right tested and bruised
but still unbroken and division champs.

Speaker 2 (43:46):
AGD.

Speaker 11 (43:47):
I promise you this, no team that we faith is
gonna have more fight than up. Let's get together and
win eleven more games.

Speaker 10 (43:58):
Kiss.

Speaker 9 (44:00):
Thank you so much for making my morning so much
easier to wake up to coast one oh three point
five Happy Friday.

Speaker 1 (44:07):
So the most handsome man in the world has been
chosen the Greek Golden ratio. It's an ancient way of
measuring beauty that the Greeks used to do, and they
would measure a person's face right to see how wide
are your eyes, how long is your nose, how white
is your smile?

Speaker 3 (44:25):
All that stuff right, and proportions too, right, like how
far is your nose from your top lip?

Speaker 5 (44:30):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1 (44:31):
So this doctor in London used the Greek Golden ratio
beauty to uncover the most handsome men in the world.
So on that list, idris elbit I mean yes right.
He came in with an eighty eight percent score. George
Clooney a ninety percent score, Rob Pattinson ninety two percent score,

(44:54):
but the highest scoring of all the men in the world.
This guy measured Taylor Johnson. He's rumored to be the
next Bond and is officially the most handsome man in
the world. He has a ninety three percent face ratio.
The width and length of his nose is perfect. He
is a beautifully sculpted chin. This is all from the doctor.

(45:16):
All the scores were great, and this is why he
didn't get one hundred. His ice facing the gap is
it's just not perfect.

Speaker 10 (45:23):
Come on, it.

Speaker 5 (45:25):
Does get it together.

Speaker 1 (45:28):
Christina Aguileras things about being beautiful. It's not about what
you look like.

Speaker 10 (45:33):
It's the Ellen k Morning Show, Sunshine and a Ball.

Speaker 1 (45:38):
This is Ellen.

Speaker 10 (45:38):
Yeah you my Morning Coast one o three point five watch.

Speaker 14 (45:45):
Watch it?

Speaker 1 (45:47):
Yeah, my favorite streamers. You know those sounds they literally
give me goosebump. All right, what you watching? Weekend? I
recommend that you go to Netflix and today it's out.
It's called Lonely Planets, starring Laura Dern. She is a

(46:09):
reclusive novelist with writer's block and she has a life
altering romance after she meets someone at a writer's retreat
in Morocco. So you're under this beautiful setting. It's Morocco.
I've never been. I don't know what I mean. I've
always wanted to see Morocco. And so she's there to
kind of get rid of her writer's block, and she
meets someone and has this romance and he is Liam Hensworth,

(46:34):
says Laura Dern. Liam Hensworth. It's called Lonely Planet on Netflix.
Put it on your list. Also making it in Marbia.
Here we are again on Netflix in a beautiful setting.
Marba Spain, and these real estate agents are competing with
each other. It's like selling Sunset, but they're in Marbia
and they're competing with these high end twenty twenty five

(46:58):
million dollar mansions with the these ocean views, and it's
very caddy and competitive. So it's a reality show, so
you get a little bit of everything. You get the
romance with Laura Dern and Liam Hemsworth's Lonely Planet and
then making it in mar bea fun reality.

Speaker 5 (47:14):
I'm gonna go Starting five. You heard this?

Speaker 1 (47:16):
Okay, what streamer are we on?

Speaker 5 (47:18):
We're on Netflix. Oh yeah, we're all Netflix, staying in
Netflix all weekend. Do you know about Starting five?

Speaker 1 (47:25):
I think it's about basketball.

Speaker 3 (47:27):
It is, yes, so think like Hard Knocks but for NBA.
So basically it's kind of that inside look into certain players.

Speaker 1 (47:35):
And they saw Lebron in a green costume.

Speaker 5 (47:38):
Yep, Lebron is in it.

Speaker 3 (47:39):
So he's one of the five that they follow through
their daily life, I mean from wake up to bedtime.

Speaker 1 (47:45):
That's so you get like the inside look at all.

Speaker 3 (47:47):
So we're looking at Jimmy Butler, Anthony Edwards, Demonte Sabanis,
Jason Tatum, and then Lebron and we just follow him
all day and.

Speaker 5 (47:54):
See what there is so cool?

Speaker 1 (47:57):
An NBA player all right, starting five, make it and
marbea an only planet all in Netflix. I want to
watch all of them well.

Speaker 5 (48:06):
And you will.

Speaker 1 (48:07):
I don't think anyone's confused to go to the theater
and watch piece by piece the Lego movie Burrow and
when Stefani is depicted with her music. Good Morning, Coast
one of three point five. Thank you for being up
with us.

Speaker 2 (48:20):
First thing in the morning radio station.

Speaker 11 (48:22):
So listen to see you guys wake me up and
it's amazing.

Speaker 7 (48:25):
Thank you so much for making my morning so much
easier to.

Speaker 10 (48:28):
Wake up to the Lank Morning show on Coast one
of three point five.

Speaker 1 (48:32):
Grateful that's what we are, that you are here with
us and the l K Morning Show. It's Coast one
of three point five. Thanks to Gwen Stefani for bringing
us your new music somebody Else's. You've got to listen
to it. It's it's so empowering if you well, I
think it's a song for everybody. Yeah, because at one
point in everybody's life, they've gone through dark times or

(48:54):
break up and you've looked back on your life and
you're in a good place and you can't have a
light without the dark. That's it, and that's what the
song is about. She says that her songs literally are
heaven sent. I love the way she talks about her
music that it just comes to her. She'll have the idea.
And Gwen's album is coming out in November and it's

(49:15):
all inspired by Gwen, so it's really personal.

Speaker 5 (49:19):
I love that she said I was my own inspiration
and never hear an artist say that. It was awesome, So.

Speaker 1 (49:26):
Thank you Gwin for coming by. Thank you also to
the Dodgers, A five seventy La Sports and Namika Trotter
for the Dodger tickets. We are so excited for Peggy
and her husband Arturo. They want been to win and
they'll be there tonight. It's Oar Toro's birthday.

Speaker 5 (49:43):
How cool is that?

Speaker 1 (49:43):
And when Peggy qualified early this morning, she said, I'm
going to win these is my husband's birthday. That was
so crazy. All right. We end every show with the quote, Nikiss,
have a great weekend, right. I know that you are
going to a wedding in Big Beer. How beautiful is that?

Speaker 3 (49:57):
And Joe Quoit tonight, Yeah, I can't wait. Mom is
on a plane from Chicago. She lands in about an
hour and five minutes. I'm going to get her at Bourbank.

Speaker 10 (50:05):
Your mom is here.

Speaker 1 (50:07):
You got the trifecta of love happening.

Speaker 5 (50:09):
No joke tonight.

Speaker 3 (50:10):
And then yeah, our friend Amanda Salas from Good Day
La gets married tomorrow with Big Bears.

Speaker 5 (50:14):
I'll be there for that.

Speaker 1 (50:14):
Give her extra smooches from me, and we'll be at
the Manhattan Beach Food and Wine Festival tomorrow evening. You
buy a ticket, it's one price, you eat and drink
all you want. So what a great place to hang.
And we had every show with the quote and a kiss.
This one comes from Henry J. Hines. He made Heinz Ketchup.
Happy heavenly birthday, Henry Hines, and happy birthday to you

(50:38):
if you're celebrating. But he did one thing and he
did it well. And his quote is to do a
common thing, uncommonly well Greek success. Why do you go, Hines?
Kiss on three, kiss on me? I just I love
Ketchup so much. Kiss on three, kiss on me to
three

Speaker 3 (51:00):
In love night, the said
