And happy Wednesday too. It's Coast one oh three point five.
We are the Ellen K Morning Show. Thanks for joining us.
I'm Ellen, Hello, I'm Social Queen Darlene.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Hi, good morning. I'm producing my Grandmos.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
And we have put Ryan Mano on a plane for
a secret mission. See, we can't say it because the
people who might find out about it are listening. So
so man on a mission. It's all good, It's all
good stuff, all right, So happy travels, Ryan Mano. We're
sitting here in bogin Burbank. It's gonna be the hottest

(00:32):
day of the week. Let's get ready for that. Also
coming up, inside Entertainment, we're going to take you there.
There is so much happening. There's a girl we found,
superstar famous girl with nine nanny's nine. I mean she
does have four kids and she has a single mother,

(00:53):
but nine nanny's I wanted nanny.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
Inside Entertainment with Ellen K.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
All right, Kim Kardashian employs nine nannies tail praise her
four children. They're responsible for the following meals, clothing, laundry, security, drivers,
and each of the kids' schedules. The full time nannies
work six days a week for a twelve hour shift
starting at six am, and their base salary starts at
one hundred thousand dollars, so if they go over time

(01:33):
or have to do extra duties, it's really a lot
more and it stacks up. Pay Raises are possible if
they stay longer than eighteen months and if the kids
like them, so you got to give those kids to
like you. But that's almost a million dollars a year
for childcare that Kim is paying. I mean, look, they're
doing a lot. They probably should be paid a whole

(01:54):
lot more.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
They're providing life.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Yeah they Okay, what about this? Elizabeth Hurley turned sixty,
Happy birthday. I met her at the Elton John after
Oscar party. And she is just as beautiful in person
as she is in photos, and she's always smiling and
smiling even bigger now. She said happy birthday to me.
She totally was naked, sitting in a garden. She said,

(02:17):
pick taking this afternoon in my birthday suit. Elizabeth says
her sixties have already been a wild ride and she
just turned sixty, both professionally and personally. She said, I'm
in love. She added a boyfriend, Billy Ray Cyrus, feeling
blessed and grateful for having the best friends of family
in the world. And then Billy Ray hit back in
the comments and said, I love you. Oh and her

(02:38):
son Damien is also into it too, I love you, mom.
Ah all right. Darlene literally slapped her forehead when we
talked about this. Aaron Rodgers is now a Steeler and
it could be good for the Steelers, right, No.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
I just feel I don't feel good things.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Darlene lives in a Steeler family. Her husband is one
of the biggest Steelers fans I've ever met. Everything is
Steelers and now you've got Aaron Rodgers. Oh boy, oh boy.
He's forty one. He'd been spotted at the Kentucky Derby,
you know, wearing a wedding band on his finger, and
then he wore that while signing his contract with the Steelers.

(03:17):
How long is the contract?

Speaker 4 (03:19):
I think it's a year and it's a minimum guaranteed
of twelve mil.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Okay, which is nuts because we know he gets injured.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Anyway, I hope he does well, all right. Well. His
previous girlfriends include Shale Woodley, as you know, Olivia Munn
and also retired NASCAR driver Danica Patrick. She just said
last month the relationship with Aaron was emotionally abusive and
it wore me down to nothing. Well, so we wish
his new fiance, the mystery woman, We wish her luck.

(03:47):
But he was at that press conference when this happened.

Speaker 5 (03:50):
It's a wedding ring, congratulation, Thank you, I love you.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
It's been a couple months.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
He sounds like Kermit. Can I hear again? See what
is that eron on your finger?

Speaker 5 (04:05):
It's a wedding ring, thank you.

Speaker 6 (04:11):
It's been a couple months.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
All right, married for a couple months. Well, we wish
him well. We want the Steelers to do well. For
Dar's family. It Scot's one of three quick, it's.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
The Lank Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Yeah, Hi, it's all of us. We're all here, Darkey.

Speaker 6 (04:27):
It's a wonderful morning, and you guys bringing so much positivity.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
Let's party together coast one oh three point five, Hi,
good morning, your collar twenty you win?

Speaker 5 (04:38):
Oh my gosh, good morning.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Good morning. What's your name leonor well? Leonor you just
want a pair of tickets to Angel City Football Club
at Bemo Stadium this Saturday.

Speaker 6 (04:49):
Oh my gosh, thank you so much, thank you.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
We love that you wake up with us.

Speaker 6 (04:54):
HIK you an awesome show and everything. Oh my gosh,
I'm yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
It's such a beautiful stadium and we love Angel City
Football Club. They always put on a great match.

Speaker 6 (05:07):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
More feel Good is coming up on the l and
K Morning Show. Coast one oh three point five.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
La wakes up at the LANK Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Hi, my name's George.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
I live in Garden Grove. I listen to llen K
every morning Monday through Friday and Saturday too.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Coast one oh three point five.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
From bad to Bed. Why you need a spatula in
your bedroom? It's your happiness hack for life. We're the
LNK Morning Show. Thank you so much for waking it
up with us, having us on in your ride. All right, guys,
do you have a spatula in your bedroom?

Speaker 4 (05:35):
Darlene, No, but I'm wondering is it too swat flies
or something?

Speaker 1 (05:40):
No, it is not. That's a good guess. Mike Romos
what do you say.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
I can't say that I have a spatulate in my room.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
I do not either. My husband did put a a
giant sledgehammer under the bed in case of intruder.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Yes, okay, I'm with Roy. I have a hatchet.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Okay, watch, Yes, it's under the bed, I said. Okay,
here's the thing. It's so heavy. I don't know that
I could use it. Right, it's a sledgehammer.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
That's why you need a hatchet.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
I hatch, it's the right side. I thought a lot
about this.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Also a baseball bat.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Okay, well, you also need a wooden spatula. And this
is why it's a big trend on TikTok right now.
It's to help make your bed. So you take the
firm part of the step spatula and you just when
you're you know, pulling the sheets. My goodness over, and
you don't have to lift the mattress to make the bed.
You just you just poke it in there with the spatula.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
That is so good.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Isn't that great? So it's a sturdy wooden spatula. A
wooden spoon would work as well. So if you don't
have a lot of arm strength, you don't want to
throw your back out, or if you don't want to
lift the mattress to tuck the sheet, use that wooden spatula.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Works smarter, not harder.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
There you go, It's your happiness hack.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
There's more feel.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
Good next on the LLENK Morning Show. Coast one oh

Speaker 7 (07:55):
Big effort.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Yeah, Well, my my son is in Ai May and
he's getting his masters on Sunday, and I'm so proud.
And he did something really fun. He went on Amazon
and ordered a strap and brace for your computer so
you can walk and compute at the same time. Do

(08:19):
you have one?

Speaker 3 (08:21):
No, I can't say that.

Speaker 7 (08:23):
I'm dedicated that I'm walking and working at the same time.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
Don you gotta get what'll? It'll bring a lot of laughs.
He had the whole office laughing. Anyway, have a beautiful day.
We're so happy you have us on in your ride.
Thank you, thank you. Yeah, so you can get him
at Amazon if you want to just strap it on.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
I kind of want one.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
I think we should go in as a team and
just walk around. I heard see what people say. All right,
coming up next, we're gonna do your top stories at
the top of the hour. Or the Dodgers announcer is
so good, Joe Davis, What about the Padres? We compared
them yesterday. Wait until you hear what the Padre announcer
did last night. I'm upset.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
La wakes up with the Ellen k morning show.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
You guys are awesome, I love you too.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
Host one three point five.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
Top Stories, Top of the Hour, Good Morning of Ellen
k And if you worker live in and around downtown LA,
you know the curfew is on. Mayor Bass has instituted
a curfew from eight pm to six am and largely
a one square mile patch of downtown LA. She declared
a local emergency and imposed an overnight curfew. As a
four thousand National Guard members and seven hundred Marines have

(09:46):
been deployed to keep the peace. All right, Sean Diddy
Coombs had a particular show he enjoyed watching most after
his hotel nights and freak offs. Combs loved to watch
Dateline until he fell asleep. Combs is ironically now the
subject of the true crime TV show, as its most
recent episode, Sean Combs on Trial aired on May eleventh,
and that is also on demand. So he left to

(10:08):
watch Dateline. Now he's on Dateline.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
All right?

Speaker 1 (10:11):
What about this the Padres and the Dodgers. Well, we
won our first one. We fell to the Padres last night.
The Padres announcer is trying to find ways to make
us feel bad. He made up a word listen to this.

Speaker 8 (10:23):
Absolute laugher against the Dodgers here tonight as Dylan ceased
rows seven shutout innings and the Padres put up eleven
ones on sixteen hits to beat the Dodgers by ten.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
Absolute laugher. Well, we'll see what happens today at one pm.
And a La Booboo do you La Boo Boo? A
toy sculpture sold for one hundred and fifty thousand dollars
add an auction in China. It's a Beijing auction house
sold a four foot tall sculpture of a viral plush
toy character for more than one hundred and fifty grand
for the Chinese designed Laboo Boo dolls. Reaching fever pitch.

(10:58):
And we do have a beautiful day developing a lot
of marine layer to burn off its June bloom. But
we're going to get a high close to ninety almost everywhere.
And right now it is sixty in Burbank Kost, Los Angeles.
It's coast one of three point five presented by Celsius.
Coming up your letters to Ellen. Also we're going to
send you to stagecoach with the Ellen KQ and a

(11:20):

Speaker 3 (11:23):
La wakes up with the Ellen k Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Thank you so much for doing what you do, playing
such great music and having such positive attitudes. You're being
positive to us about being positive, and so it makes
us feel extra positive.

Speaker 9 (11:35):
Hosts one O three point five right to Ellen for advice,
because she's seen a thing or two.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
She is Ellen. All right, here we go, guys. This
is all about a massage therapist. I love that day
that Darlene and I when we went and got our
massages together. Burke Williams just felt so good.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
We just went into robes right afterward.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
Yeah, we left the show right away, and then we
were there most of the day and we both got
the ninety minute and after that wanted more. But it
just feels so good.

Speaker 7 (12:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Well, Gigi writes to us today, Dear Ellen, I've had
chronic back pain for years, but thank God, it's manageable
with deep tissue massage. I tried everything from yoga to
sleeping on tennis balls. Nothing worked until I found that
male massage therapists give the kind of deep tissue pressure
my back needs. Strong man hands are the only thing
that consistently make me feel good. The other day, for

(12:30):
the first time in two years, my husband, Barry picked
me up from my appointment. It was also the first
time he seen my massage therapist. And let me tell you,
this guy isn't just a great messuse. He's very good
looking and built too. I saw Barry's whole soul leave
his body, stone face, jaw tight, silent car ride home.
I knew instantly this was going to be a thing.

(12:50):
Sure enough, it was. Later my husband Barry told me
he didn't want me going there anymore. He doesn't want
any man touching me. Oh my goodness, hell, I feel
like he doesn't care that I found the one thing
that actually is there to cure my pain, something I
do once a month for myself. I don't go there
for romance. I go there to keep my back on track.
Please help me explain to Barry that he shouldn't be

(13:13):
jealous of my massages, Love gig.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Barry better start learning how to massage.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
Then, well, that's true, and he's still not a professional. Also,
maybe Gigi could go to a not quite so hot
massage therapist, if she could go to her place and
just say, could I have someone who's just really good
at what they do? But maybe he's not quite such
a presence. I don't know. I don't know, I don't know.

(13:41):
Maybe you've been in the situation. I always go for
a female. It's just I just always ask for a female.
But Gigi has found that man hands are the thing
for her.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
I never even think about it.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
I'm just like whoever's whoever's available.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
Because he's not seen her naked. It's just a massage, right.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
No, No, you're naked, you're singer naked. Oh yeah, have
you ever had a full deep tissue?

Speaker 3 (14:05):
No?

Speaker 1 (14:06):
Okay, we're gonna have to get you on a table.
Give us a call. We want to know what should
GG do. It's eight hundred and nineteen nine Kost Mike,

Speaker 7 (16:00):
I think people that that smile, that whenever you greet them,
may they smile and they say hello.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
That's such a great guest. People who smile. I love that.
Smiles really do change your mood. That's been scientifically proven.
But it is not the right answer. I'm so sorry, Tony.

Speaker 10 (16:16):
Ah, Jock, all right, I'll try again, but thank you.

Speaker 6 (16:19):

Speaker 3 (17:06):
We appreciate you, thank you.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
And we go to you. Christine working for Orange County. Hi, Christine, Hi,
good morning, Hey, good morning. So Christine, we don't have
the right answer yet. People who do what are ninety
eight percent happier than everybody else. I am going to
say no, people who say no to others, people who
say no to others, like I don't have the capacity
for that right now, or my tank is full. Christine says,

(17:34):
people who say no are ninety eight percent happier than
everybody else. And Christine, you are right. You're going to stagecoach.

Speaker 8 (17:40):
Oh my god, thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Oh thank you. All three days you got it were
thank you. Yes, people who say no are ninety eight
percent happier than everybody else, And they're a nice way
to say it. You could say I'm so sorry, but
I'm going to have to pass, or you could even
use pass adina. That's what we say in our studio.
We say no, z Ellen KQ and A. People who

(18:04):
say no are ninety eight percent happier than everybody else.

That it's the L and K Morning Show because she
needs your family. You do post one oh three point five.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
Top stories top of the hour. Good morning, I'm Ellen K.
Here on your Wednesday, June eleventh. And what about this?
Drones to your doorstep? Walmart Now is taking a big
step in the world of drone deliveries by expanding its
drone delivery service to five new cities Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston, Orlando,
and Tampa. It seems that the company's not messing around.
It's made more than one hundred and fifty thousand drone

(18:47):
deliveries since launching the service a few years ago. And
of course their big goal coming to some of the
bigger cities like La New York City. And what about this?
What are the restaurant chains with the happiest workers in
and out? Still supreme when it comes to the satisfaction
of its workers, taking the top spot for a tenth
straight year. The annual report is built on over five

(19:07):
hundred thousand reviews of ninety restaurant brands. Ninety one percent
of in and out workers would recommend their job to
a friend. Number two is raising canes and number three
Dutch Brothers. The top factors were culture, values, senior management,
and work life balance, way to go in and Out
and Game three of the NBA Finals tonight at five
on ABC, the Indiana Pacers hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder.

(19:31):
And if you're into the Real Housewives, a seventh season
premiere of the Real Housewives of Miami is on at
nine on Bravo. And the Dodgers taken on the padres
this afternoon in San Diego, First Pitch at one pm.
The series tied at one one and a big shout
out today to Las Virginis School District. Their last day
of school is today. If you're in the car on
your way, congrats, you did it. Another great year in

(19:52):
the books. And we do have this marine layer it's
going to burn off. We're going to have a warm
day today sun China, a day almost exactly like yesterday,
except just a little bit warmer. Right now, it is
sixty five in Burdbank Kost, Los Angeles Coast, one O
three point five. We are presented by Celsius Energy Drinks
and coming up this hour, someone's going to win one
thousand dollars. It's your l and K one K Payday.

(20:15):
Your song is someone like You by Adele. Listen for
it is going to play before nine. When you hear Adele,
right when it begins, be collar twenty and you get
one thousand dollars.

Speaker 6 (20:24):
Here it's the L and K Morning Show and let's
see you every day.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
I love you guys Coast one oh three point five.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
And as Taylor Swift is, she married to Travis Kelcey.
They're working out together in Florida, they're dining together. There
are rumors that they that they're already married because they
went to a wedding and on their placesetting it said,
hey Taylor and Travis Kelsey, that's a big giveaway. And

(20:52):
then this was in the New York Post. In the headline,
Travis Kelcey made sure to keep Taylor Swift close to
his heart as he was photographed carrying an Era's tour
book in his gym bag. It's like these people photographing
them are looking for every little teeny detail. Now, no
wedding rings yet, though, all right, we'll see coming up
sometime this hour. Someone's gonna win one thousand dollars. The

(21:13):
song is someone like You, buy a doubt When you
hear that we call her twenty. Just dial right away,
you get through, you get a thousand dollars. It's the
easiest way to win money. We tried to make it easier,
but there's no easier way, all right. Adele wrote the
song someone Like You on the end of her bed.
She had a cold and she was running a bath,

(21:35):
and she played it for her mom over the phone,
and her mom cried, and she cried. The Wall Street
Journal says that someone like You is actually scientifically, it's
called an ornamental note song, and it makes you feel
a melancholy tension. So the song, the way the notes
are actually make you feel like kind of like, oh, anyway,

(21:57):
that's gonna happen before nine. And we also got your
letters to Ellen. This one from.

Speaker 3 (22:03):
Gig write to Ellen for advice because she's seen a
thing or two.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
She is Ellen, and it goes like this, Dear Ellen.
I've had chronic back pain for years, but thank God,

help me explain to Barry there's no reason to be jealous.
Love Gigi, and thank you for all your calls. What
should Gigi do? Let's go to Henry pharmacist Santa Clarita,

(23:14):
So Henry your thoughts please.

Speaker 10 (23:17):
The first thing comes to mind. I think he's a
little overreacting because I think she's only doing there once
a month, right, and she's not doing like if she
was into him, she would be like, you know, I
don't know, go there a few times a week.

Speaker 5 (23:29):
I mean, I don't know. Yeah, I mean to solve
her problem. I mean, you know, so she can invite
him to go along, and then he can get a
message female therapist.

Speaker 6 (23:41):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
I think that's an excellent idea, Henry. So bring your
husband Barry along. You only go once a month. She
even said, I don't go there for romance. I go
there to keep my back on track. She wants man hands.
So bring Barry along, get a female and look, you
could get a really good looking female messus and then
he can see that this really is about feeling good

(24:03):
and not you know, feeling good.

Speaker 10 (24:05):
Yeah, you know, I could only get one thepis to
help me on my back.

Speaker 5 (24:11):
That's works.

Speaker 1 (24:13):
I love I love it, Henry, thank you so much.
That's a great solution. Have a great day.

Speaker 10 (24:19):
Thank you you too, you too, have a.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
Great day, you guys, all right, more of your calls
to eight hundred and nine to nine kost GGI loves
the man hands. Barry doesn't like those man hands on
his wife. I really do. Look, I gotta say, I'll
just take whoever's available. But there is something about man hands.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
Yeah you like him to get in there in there right.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
Well, yeah, there's just a bigger, bigger, stronger, whier.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
Yeah, you want to get the job done.

Speaker 1 (24:47):
Yeah, exactly, you're going there. You've got you know some
some of us never get there, but when we do,
we've got an hour to ninety minutes to just feel better.
And in Gigi's case, she has chronic back pain and
this is what works for her. So I love your solution, Henry.
Bring your husband along, get a female messeuse for him,

(25:08):
and then he'll want man hands. Who knows, but give
us a call. Eight hundred and ninety two nine KOSG.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
Coast one O three point five.

Speaker 4 (25:16):
Catch the llen K Morning Show on demand on the
free iHeartRadio.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
It's the llen K Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
It's so much fun to play the ellen KQ and
they on my way to school.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
Coast one O three point five.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
We love all your responses to our letter to Ellen.
Thank you for having us on I work in your
car wherever you are with the ellen K Morning Show.
And GG wrote us a letter. She gets massages for
her back pain and her husband doesn't want any any
man hands on her body. What does GG do and

(25:53):
is her husband Barry being too jelly? I think so
far most people are team GG. Yeah, go ahead and
get your massage, do you need for your pain, and
don't worry about Barry and his jealousy.

Speaker 4 (26:07):
And if you guys do end up in therapy, it's
gonna be a short session.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
There's that at least.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
Yeah, but let's go to Tina, all right, Tina, you
two are our team, Gigi. Let's keep on getting those
man hands on you.

Speaker 6 (26:23):
Why there is a difference between the man hands and
the woman hands. Seems like in the manhands it gets
more deeper into the tissue, so it seems like it
it does a better job. Right, if you're right, And
as long as she's not giving anything to her husband
saying oh I really want you know, I really like him,
you know, anything like that, then I don't see anything wrong.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
Yeah, he's he's the husband. Barry is like really upset
because he thinks that she could find a female messuse.
I think it's also the fact that this massage therapist
is extremely good looking m H. Corgigi.

Speaker 6 (27:02):
So then there's no trust either.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
You know what. Maybe it's not about the massage. Maybe
it's just about the relationship exactly. H. We shall see. Okay,
keep your calls coming. Eight hundred and nine two nine
kost manhands should bury suck it up. Let us know,
so adele could happen at any moment someone like you.
That's what you're listening for for a thousand bucks.
