Speaker 1 (00:00):
And it is coast one of three point five.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
We're the L and K Morning Show.

Speaker 3 (00:04):
Happy morning to you your last day of April. Let's
get this thing all right, go right into May. It's
got to be May. Do you know why it's got.

Speaker 4 (00:14):
To be me?

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Is it's got to be May?

Speaker 5 (00:17):
It's gonna be me?

Speaker 2 (00:18):
You mean it's going to be me?

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Why? No?

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (00:21):
So Max Martin, the Swedish super producer, produced It's got to.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Be me, Okay, all right.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
He told Justin Timberlake, don't say it's got to be me,
it's got to be May.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
You actually May. It's gonna be May.

Speaker 6 (00:34):
May.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
I want you to mismounce it, and it's going to
turn into a thing.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
It's gonna be the best part of the song.

Speaker 5 (00:40):
So he knew going in that that would be used
to welcome May every year.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
He didn't do it for that reason.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
He did it because he's Swedish and he wanted one
word to stand out. So he kept telling Justin, no,
it's not me, it's May.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
It's gonna be mess genius.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Isn't that geniuses? And it made the whole song and
then it turned into the May thing. Max Martin didn't
really care about that as much as just getting that
getting that that thing?

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Is that that thing? All right? We want to give
you your thing. It's cash on Coast. It's coming up.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Also, the eighties. We play a lot of music from
the eighties here. It's the best mix of the eighties, nineties,
and today. So there's a pop quiz on the eighties
and this has gone viral. A dad asking his daughter
how much she knows about the eighties spoiler alert, She
doesn't know a lot. Where are the yellow Pages?

Speaker 7 (01:33):
The Yellow Pages?

Speaker 4 (01:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (01:35):
Is it like an actual page?

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Will you tell me?

Speaker 3 (01:38):
What are the yellow Pages?

Speaker 5 (01:39):
What do you think the yellow Pages would be?

Speaker 8 (01:41):
See?

Speaker 6 (01:41):
I think, by the way, the name the yellow Page
is most likely a band or something.

Speaker 7 (01:46):
It's like a boy band group. Am I right?

Speaker 9 (01:52):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:53):
He went all in on her rolodex?

Speaker 3 (01:55):
And why do you burn a CD? What does it mean?

Speaker 5 (01:57):
What's a collect call?

Speaker 3 (02:00):
I no idea?

Speaker 5 (02:00):
She thought it was where a group of people just
get together and collect together in a party line. She's like,
is that when their phones are on the wall. Could
you imagine if you played this sound for her what
her brain would do?

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Oh boy, yeah, what is that?

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Oh my god? Yeah, it's the best mix of the eighties,
nineties and today.

Speaker 10 (02:21):
Okay, okay, she's selling it okay, and she's naked my day,
she's selling it. Okay, kay, okay, okay, nay.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
I'm having trouble sighting on.

Speaker 11 (02:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (02:37):
Someone picked up the phone and kicks me off the internet.

Speaker 3 (02:43):

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Well, everything old is new again and Miami Vice is
getting a remake. It is in the works with a
top gun Maverick filmmaker Joseph Kasinski is going to direct it.
So plot details have not been revealed, but get ready
for it. Miami Vice. That remake is in the works,
as is Desperate Housewives. There's a reboot in development right now.

(03:43):
The project's currently titled with Sturia Lane because that's where
all the Housewives live. Kerrie Washington is one of the
executive producers and this is highly exciting. Martin Short will
host Match Game, the revival on a b C.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Four years ago. Alec Baldwin did it, and now Martin
Short he's.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
Going to host that match game centered on four contestants
competing for twenty five thousand dollars as they try to
match the answers of six celebrities in a game of
fill in the blank.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
All right.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
It first premiered in nineteen sixty two, hosted by Gene Rayburn.
It is a Gary man O favorite.

Speaker 5 (04:18):
Yeah, it's on every day.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
They watch it.

Speaker 5 (04:19):
They've seen every episode. I don't know, twenty fifty times
maybe all right?

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Did you know? That's how Kirsty?

Speaker 5 (04:24):
That was Kirsty Ali's first TV appearance as not as
a panelist, but as a contestant.

Speaker 7 (04:29):
Really.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
She was an up and coming actress, moved to LA
and needed a little money, so she went on Match Game.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Oh my gosh, she was discovered. Uh huh, Well, I
think Martin Short's going to be an excellent host. He's
a big star to be hosting a game show like this,
and I think that game shows are red hot right now.
Also red hot when you have Oprah as a friend,
right Like if you could just call Oprah and say,
what would you do, Oprah? Or hey, Oprah, I needs
some I need a boost or pick me up or whatever. Well,

(04:56):
Megan Markle not only lives near Oprah and Monacito, but
they're all also friends, their neighbors. They get together a lot. Anyway,
Megan went on a podcast. She talked about receiving advice
from her good friend Oprah.

Speaker 13 (05:09):
She was the one that said, there are tons of
things you could put your name on, but for you
and how you like to show up for people, Once
you figure out how to encapsulate your essence, then you'll know.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Okay, I'm not sure what you just said, but it's
something about knowing your essence.

Speaker 5 (05:29):
And then encapsulate your essence.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Yeah, but what is so if you can what bottle
it kind of so to speak? Don't Yeah, not sure either,
but I thought it was good that you could call
o Fred.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
She would say, encapsulate your essence.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
We wanted to give you money.

happiness heck. Today, a new study scientifically quantified the effects
of pets on life satisfaction.

Speaker 7 (07:41):
Owning a pet.

Speaker 5 (07:42):
Let me get this out of the way, does increase
your life satisfaction. But by how much is just wild?
So in monetary value, the positive effects of owning a
pet equate to ninety three thousand dollars. That's how much
joy it brings you. Think about all the things you
could do for happiness that would cost you ninety three dollars,
whether it's a trip, a vacation, you know, whatever it

(08:03):
is buying a new car, your pet. Having a pet,
a dog, a cat, brings you that much in just
intrinsic value. I have two dogs.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
I'm not really rich.

Speaker 5 (08:12):
Yeah, now listen to this. They also find that in totality,
people with a dog, a cat, or both or multiples
of each, get more life satisfaction than those who prioritize
fitness and wait for it, have a spouse.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
Oh what, okay, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (08:31):
Well listen whether you care to admit this out loud
right now, this is science. Your pet makes you happier
than your partner.

Speaker 11 (08:39):

Good morning, I'm Ellen k And just checking in is
considered one of the worst phrases to put it in
an email. Oh there's a big national study done. And
when we're using email as much as we do, we
want to be as straightforward a direct as possible. Just
checking in is a vague non statement, according to the research.
The experts suggests swapping the just checking in for something

(09:07):
like wanted to know how progress was going on blank,
so that just came out this morning.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
Hey burbank residents. That's us.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
We work in Burbank. We're on edge. There's a bear
that's been spotted robing the neighborhood for the past week,
and Burbank officials are urging local authorities to step in
before someone or a pet gets her hurt. But so far,
the bear has kept us cool. He's been caught on
cameras looking for food and trash cans, even napping in
someone's garage on Elmwood Street. Officials say they're hopeful they

(09:36):
can safely wrangle the big fella and transport him back
to the Angelus National Forest. And the Dodgers reeled in
the Marlins last.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Night fifteen to two. It was a clinic at the Ravine.

Speaker 3 (09:46):

I love you guys. Coast one oh three point five.

Speaker 14 (11:10):
Right to Ellen for advice because she's seen a thing
or two.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
She is Ellen. All right. This one comes from Valley Village.
It's Jenny Mama. Jenny writes, Dear Ellen, I'm reaching out
because I'm feeling really hurt. Ten months ago, my daughter Mari,
who was a single mother, asked me if she could
borrow seven thousand dollars for a tummy tuck. She told

(11:35):
me she'd pay me back quickly, and I didn't hesitate.
I just wanted her to feel good about herself. Her
divorce was tough. She needed a big boost to turn
the corner after leaving her lire of a husband. But
now all this time has past and I haven't gotten
a single dollar back. Every time I bring it up,
she brushes me off with the casual I'll get to
it eventually, like.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
It's no big deal.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
Meanwhile, I see my daughter Marie wearing her lululemons, eating
out at nice restaurants, and living her best life without
a second thought about what she owes me. She told
me about her recent plasma facials and had the nerve
to flaunt a twenty four dollar Air One smoothie on
her Instagram. It feels like such a slap in the face.
I'm not just hurt, I feel disrespected. I'm struggling between

(12:19):
wanting to just let it go and wanting to stand
up for myself because this doesn't feel right. I didn't
raise my daughter to walk all over me like this.
How do I protect my heart but still hold her accountable?
Mama Jenny in Valley Village, All right, so I don't know.
Mari borrowed seven thousand dollars, got her tummy tuck. She's
feeling good about herself in life, which Jenny said was

(12:42):
one of her objectives. She wanted to feel better. But
now Mari's not paying her back. So that's a lot
of money. And ten months have gone by seven thousand dollars.

Speaker 5 (12:56):
And she said no payments have been made, zero.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
Not even a dollar. Oh my nothing.

Speaker 5 (13:01):
I always heard, you know, when it comes to lending
money to friends and family, you're never supposed to lend
what you aren't willing to lose.

Speaker 3 (13:07):
Right, Yeah, yeah, yeah, Rick deezus to always say it's
not alone, it's a gift. There you go. Yeah, you're
never really lending the money, you're giving it seven thousand
dollars for a tummy tuck. Mari is feeling good, wearing
her lululemons, eating out at nice restaurants. I thought it
was interesting that Mama Jenny focused on the l Yeah,

(13:32):
they are a nice legging.

Speaker 5 (13:33):
This is a tough situation, and we hate when there's
you know, conflict between parents and children. But like, if
she really wants to hold her accountable, I mean, do
you take her to small claims court? Oh I'm serious?

Speaker 3 (13:44):
Oh wow, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (13:45):
I mean, I don't that's accountability.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
What do you do? Seven thousand dollars tummy tuck. Mama's
not getting paid back. Daughter Mari is living her best
life eight hundred and ninety two nine kost. We will
get your calls and also cash on cost.

Speaker 7 (14:01):

Kosd Ryan, you're a good actor because the answer is
right in front of you.

Speaker 5 (15:22):
Well, no, I'm just saying because I know what the
answer is. But I'm saying we have to specify. It's
not like one object that we definitely keep for six
years because I have some longer end.

Speaker 3 (15:33):

I'm a I'm a big home goods like shopper.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
I love home goods.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
So you go into that pillows section and I probably
buy them too often because I love pillows. And then
I'll get the new ones home because they sell them
in pairs. And I'm like, well, I do have a
couple of old pillows I could just toss.

Speaker 5 (17:56):
So you you make yourself get rid of older pillows
because you can't stop buying newer pillows.

Yes, they are all four when they start, and they
turn five in my class, and right now we are
at a very sweet spot. They are ready to go
to kindergarten.

Speaker 3 (18:42):
Oh what's the ceremony like when they finish.

Speaker 9 (18:46):
Well, we have a little parent party and I do
a slide show and things like that, and everyone's very
happy and lots of tears are shed.

Speaker 3 (18:53):

Speaker 1 (19:06):
Yeah, yeah, all right. We keep these for six years.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
What do you think it is?

Speaker 9 (19:12):
I think it's a pair of jeans.

Speaker 3 (19:13):
Pair of jeans. We keep them for six years on
average before we toss them six years is right? You
are going to Vegas and Bruno Mars.

Speaker 9 (19:23):

Speaker 2 (19:32):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 3 (19:33):
And we keep these on average for six years before
we toss them. It's Jeans pro tip, don't ever toss them.
Vintage Levis are worth so much money. Darlene's mother unearthed
a vault of vintage Levi's and I mean you can
put those up on eBay and you can make four

(19:53):
figures one. Yeah, but nationally, we keep these for six
years and we toss them out. It is Jeans, Bruno
Mars in Vegas. It's Coast one a three point five
coming up. What your emojis say about you? If you
used too many of them? I'm going to tell you
why you shouldn't.

Speaker 7 (20:13):
Our wags up with the ellen K Morning Show.

Speaker 9 (20:15):
Good day was my day and today is going to
be your day too.

Speaker 14 (20:19):
Thank you.

Speaker 11 (20:21):
I love you guys, love listen to you every morning.
Appreciate you your time and your energy. Everything.

Speaker 12 (20:26):
Coast one oh three point five Top stories Top the Hour,
Good Morning of ellen K.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
You're on your last day of April. It's going to
be a nice one. We'll get to that in a minute,
but get ready for a warmth. And we're checking in
again on our baby bald eglits up at Big Bear.
We mentioned they'd likely start winging this week. That's when
they learned to spread and flap their wings while jumping.
It's a test run of sorts and it's happening. We
have their nest camfeed in the studio. Sonny and Gizmar
are looking real ready to fly. And if you need

(20:52):
a peaceful breather today, pull up that live shot. Be
amazed by these.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
Little baldy babies.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
And a new study out of Oklahoma State University said
your emoji habits might be revealing a little more than
just your mood. Researchers found that guys who go heavy
on emojis are showing signs of emotional instability, while women
who use a lot of emojis are seen as open
and agreeable.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
It's almost the exact opposite.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
And America loves their mommies and mother figures and new
report says we're about to smash records for Mother's Day
spending this year. The National Retail Federation predicts were set
to drop thirty four billion dollars between now and Mother's
Day May eleventh. That's up almost a full billion since
last year. And you don't have to spend a penny
to make your mom happy. Ninety five percent of all

(21:36):
moms said that they would like to have more sleep.
They just want to nap. Number two things that your
mom want, eating a meal while it's hot. How about that.
That's a good one. And number three not making any decisions.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
They're all free.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
So give that to.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
Your mom if you're looking for a gift. And Happy
Bugs Bunny Day Today. Bugs Bunny has a star on
the Hollywood Walk of Fame and working up doc I
love that Bunny Today commemorates the first appearance of Bugs
in a short film, Porky's Hair Hunt in nineteen thirty eight.
While his name was Happy Rabbit in that film, he
officially became Bugs Bunny in nineteen forty. And like I said,

(22:16):
we have a warm one today, highs up to seventy five.
The son will develop and then we're going to stay
there for a little while. Van nice seventy five for
your high Valencia. You get the same seventy five right
now sixty in Burbank, and we are few of Vice
Celsius Energy drinks. It's Kost Los Angeles Coast one of
three point five coming up, Burke Williams, jasebod gift cards

(22:38):
for your mother, more reactions to your letter to Ellen
and cash on of course a co.

Speaker 7 (22:46):
It's the llen K Morning Show.

Speaker 5 (22:47):
Thank you so much, Ellen.

Speaker 7 (22:48):
I love you guys.

Speaker 9 (22:49):
You guys are the bat.

Speaker 15 (22:50):
You make me happy every day when I.

Speaker 9 (22:52):
Listen to you guys.

Speaker 7 (22:53):
Coast one oh three point five we have the l
K Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
We love your letters to Ellen.

Speaker 14 (22:57):
Right to Ellen for advice because she's seen a thing.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
She is Ellen, and every letter we read, we see
even more. This is called family finances. Dear Ellen, I'm
reaching out because I'm feeling really hurt. Ten months ago,
my daughter, Mari, a single mother, asked me if she
could borrow seven thousand dollars for a tummy tuck.

Speaker 2 (23:19):
She told me she'd pay me back quickly. I didn't hesitate.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
I just wanted to help her feel good about herself.
Her divorce was tough and she needed a boost to
turn the corner after leaving her liar of a husband.
But now all this time has passed and haven't gotten
a single dollar back. Every time I bring it up,
she brushes me off with the casual I'll get to
it eventually, like it's no big deal. Meanwhile, I see
her wearing her Lulu Levins, eating out at nice restaurants,

(23:45):
and living her best life without a second thought about
what she owes me. She told me about her recent
plasma facials and had the nerve to flaunt a twenty
four dollars Air one smoothie on her Instagram. It feels
like such a slap in the face. I feel disrespected.
I did raise Mari to walk all over me like this.
How do I protect my heart but still hold her accountable?

(24:06):
Jenny Valley Village. All right, Jenny, you know I knew
a couple. She wanted a mummy makeover. He paid for it, right,
so she did the whole thing. Tummy took the implants whatever.
They break up. Five years later, her breast implants encapsulated
and turned a little hardshad to have him redone. Okay,

(24:29):
She went back to him, her ex, and said, you
need to pay for the new surgery because this one botched.
That's what he is is you exactly? And he I
think he hung up on her.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
Yeah, thirty five thousand dollars, I'm not kidding you. That's
hilario when it comes to stuff like this.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
I mean, it's a lot of money.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
I hope he laughed in her face.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
Yeah, me too. But I don't like seeing mothers and
daughters fight. Jenny and Marie, thank you for the letter. Jenny.
Let's go to you, Megan. So you have thoughts on this,
share them.

Speaker 11 (25:09):
That's a hard situation to be in. And I'm not
a mother. I don't have kids, but i am a daughter.
Of course. I have been in a situation or two
in my adult life where I've had to have my parents.
My mom helped me out financially, and I think, whether
it's family or friends, you have to hold good rapport

(25:31):
with the people that put trust in you. And she
trusted her giving her seven thousand dollars. And regardless of
what it's for, you know, her mom loves her and
wants her to be happy and wants her to feel comfortable.
But I think, at you know this point, because it's
her mom, she doesn't need to pay her back all
in seven thousand dollars at once. But if her mom

(25:52):
can see that she's making an effort, giving her a
little bit here, a little bit there, she'll be okay
with it. But she definitely needs to make her mom
put that trust back in her again for the future,
because she never knows what kind of financial situation she's
going to be in in ten years. She may need
her again.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
Yeah for sure. Oh, Megan, thank you. I do want
to shout out your business where you are right now.

Speaker 11 (26:14):
I work at Smiles West in downtown Covina.

Speaker 2 (26:18):
I love I love the name.

Speaker 11 (26:21):
It's cute.

Speaker 4 (26:21):
Mom, yeah's really cute.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
You're cute.

Speaker 11 (26:23):
Thank you, Thank you. Have a good day, guys.

Speaker 3 (26:27):
Okay too, Megan says, just work it out, like, make
an effort. Maria needs to make an effort instead of
parading her lululemons around town. Yeah. I can just picture
her lululemons the air on Smoothie fresh skin because she's
had the plasma faces, which, by the way, those are
not she No, oh my gosh. Those our four figures

(26:48):
right there, because they like you to buy like a series,
you know.

Speaker 5 (26:53):
Yeah, like a whole package.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
Yeah, all right, Well, can.

Speaker 5 (26:56):
I just say I don't I don't see this ending well.
I don't think even a converse is going to get
through to this young lady. I'm serious, and i know
this sounds harsh, but I'm saying small Claims Court. Really
take your daughter court.

Speaker 3 (27:07):
You're going right there if you need her to learn
a lesson.

Speaker 1 (27:10):
Ah Justice, I'm serious.

Speaker 3 (27:13):
Justice, Ryan Justice man Oh says, take her to Small Claims.

Speaker 7 (27:20):

Speaker 4 (27:33):

Speaker 7 (27:34):
Coast one oh three point five.

Speaker 3 (27:36):
Jenny a valley village, seven thousand dollars Timme Tech for
daughter Mari, and Mari is running around town wearing a Lululemons,
living her best life, having plasma facials, flaunting a twenty
four dollars Era one smoothie on her Instagram. So obviously,
no plans to pay back mommy yet It's been ten months.

(27:58):
So now Jenny's getting really upset with her daughter. Let's
good to know, hoo getting so many calls about this, David, Hi.

Speaker 4 (28:07):
Hi, I think that she should just let it go
because it's her mom that she borrows the money for,
and it's her daughter, okay, and she didn't be asked
to run into this world. Is a decision that her
mother decided to make, and therefore I think she didn't
make her daughter happy for everything that she's giving her
and be very thankful. And in time, I'm sure that
when she does thing about her mom in certain ways,

(28:30):
she'll pay her back.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
So just give her time, is what you're saying.

Speaker 4 (28:34):
Yeah, I give her the time that she needs to,
and that I keep it. If she never does it,
just be thankful for what you were able to provide
for her as a mother, and if she can't, you know,
maybe she's better off that way.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
Okay, So just keep the peace. The money will come
when Marie's good and ready.

Speaker 4 (28:54):
Yes, okay?

Speaker 3 (28:55):
Yeah? Is Jenny impatient? Is ten months with not a
dollar paid back? Is that you know? Is that too
long to wait? She says, She brings it up, and
then Marie says, I'll get to it eventually, Like it's
not a big deal. So you want peace and love, but.

Speaker 5 (29:11):
The mom wants her money back. She wants her money,
but your banks just feel blessed they were able to
provide us alone.

Speaker 7 (29:19):
It's the L and K Morning Show.

Speaker 11 (29:20):
Oh my god, you guys are amazing. You make my day,
You make my morning, and I love you all.

Speaker 7 (29:27):
Coast one oh three point.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
Five Top Stories, Top of the Hour, A good morning
of ellen K and are we about to eliminate the
gas tax? It's looking likely, but there's a catch. Right now,
our gas tax is fifty nine cents a gallon. It
is the primary source of state funding for freeways and roads.
As more people turn to zero emission vehicles, gas tax
revenue has fallen so much so state leaders are instead

(29:48):
proposing a mileage tax. It would tax us on how
much we drive our gas engines. And big changes come
into your license plates next year. We're about to run
out of plate numbers or our current format number three
letters through numbers has been in place since nineteen eighty
and we're almost exhausted with combos. So the place will
keep the scheme, but flip it backwards. You're gonna go
three numbers, three letters and one number. All right? What

(30:11):
about this do or die tonight for the Lakers at
Crypto I must do in game five. That's what the
Tea Wolves seven o'clock jump on TNT. If Luke and
Lebron are going to advance, they need to sweep these
next three one game at a time. And the Clippers,
like the Lakers, are now facing elimination after Latsi's lost
to the Nuggets in Denver. Clips backs against the wall
tomorrow night into a dome, gotta win it, and let's

(30:33):
throw the Kings into a must win mix. They dropped
Game five last night to the Oilers and are on
the brink of being bounced from the NHL playoffs. They
try to stay alive tomorrow night. Up in Edmonton, the
Dodgers reeled in the Marlins last night. It was fifty
to two a clinic at the Ravine. With that win
put our boys back on top of the NL West,
up by a game.

Speaker 2 (30:52):
They go for the sweep. Today A twelve Ton show,

I don't know too ambitious to try to get Mari
and her mother Jenny Peace before Mother's Day May eleventh.

Speaker 1 (34:05):
Thanks.

Speaker 3 (34:05):
Jenny wrote us a letter about her daughter, Mari, a
single mother, borrowing seven thousand dollars for a tummy tuck.
Said she paid me back real quick. I didn't hesitate.
I just wanted to help her feel good about herself.
Her divorce was tough. She needed boots to turn the
corner after leaving her liar of a husband. But now
all this time has passed it. I haven't gotten a
single dollar back. But she's wearing her lululemons, eating out

(34:28):
at nice restaurants, and living her best life without a
second thought about what she owes me. So okay, ten months,
seven grand plasma facials, twenty four dollars arawon smoothies. Carlos.
You heard the letter.

Speaker 15 (34:43):
What do you say, Well, I kind of I see
both sides. I could see you know, being a kid
myself or not a kid. But I one time, you know,
having borrowed money from my parents, I'm absolutely grateful, and
I think you know, the goal is always to pay
it back. I think since the lenders are our parents,

(35:06):
we seem to think that there's an infinite timeline that
we could pay it back. I mean, the deed is done.
She should just be patient. You know, if I was
the parent, I wouldn't lend money without without knowing that
it's okay if it doesn't get paid back.

Speaker 2 (35:25):
Okay, all right. Do you think she will get paid
back at some point?

Speaker 15 (35:30):
Yes, I think she will. Absolutely.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
By the way, did you ever pay your parents back.

Speaker 3 (35:37):
Your phone cut out?

Speaker 11 (35:42):
I absolutely did?

Speaker 3 (37:50):
I love this quote.

Speaker 2 (37:52):
Every flower must grow through dirt.

Speaker 3 (37:55):
It just says so much. Be a flower, grow through
that dirt. Kiss on three, kiss on me one two three.

Speaker 6 (38:04):
I think I did it again. I'm too bully when
more than just friends. Oh baby might seem like that,
but it doesn't really that.
