appropriate place for Ozzy Osbourne to have his star in
(02:38):

I don't know if you saw these pictures in up,
but Angelina Joli and Salmahaik flew a commercial airline from
(03:54):
Mexico City to Vera Cruz. Really yeah. Another passenger secretly
videotaped the actresses boarding a weekend flight. They were very
easy to spot in the crowd, but they were close
together talking. Someone said, hey, can I get a picture
with you, and Somema kind of shoot the person off.
They all said. Four beef bodyguards communicating by radio ear pieces,
you know, talking in their collars. Yeah. So I guess
(04:17):
the money they save flying commercial was spent on four
airline tickets for their for their bodyguards.

Speaker 5 (11:09):
Ooh, Rosalia is pretty?
Speaker 1 (11:11):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
So we had a letter from Rosalie. Dear Ellen, I'm heartbroken.
I'm in shock. Michelle and I have been best friend
since high school and she's getting married in November to
this amazing guy who completely swept her off her feet.
I was so excited when she asked me to be
her maid of honor last year. It's a destination wedding
in Mexico City. His family's from there. I've invested so
(11:34):
much in this. I bought my plane ticket and hotel
room months ago, purchased my dress, which she approved. I
have easily spent almost three thousand dollars already, not to
mention the countless hours I put into helping her plan
every detail. A few nights ago, she called me with
news that completely blindsided me. She said she and her
future mother in law have been talking. They're concerned about
how my tattoos will be perceived at the ceremony. I'm
(11:57):
heavily tattooed. It's a huge part of who I am.
I always have been ever since I was eighteen years
old and could go and get them. Michelle has never
had an issue with it before. She told me that
my tattoos would distract from the sanctity of the ceremony
and it's not appropriate for the setting. Then she said
it's better if her sister was at the altar and
not me. She offered me front row seats with a family,
(12:19):
and completely lost on how to handle this. Do I
still go as a guest after being demoted? Do I
eat the money? Jo I stay home? I feel so
disrespected and betrayed after bending over backwards for this wedding
with love and confusion, Rosalia, that's rough. How do you
uninvite someone to be I mean, after all these plans
(12:41):
were made.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
And it's not like she didn't know she had tattoos
to begin with. Yeah, you knew when you invited her, right, right, girl, Go.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
On the vacation and just enjoy it, and don't even
skip the wedding.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
Let's skip the wedding book going. You're already paid plane tickets,
the dress, everything.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
You don't even want to be there.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
Yeah, I were her, Okay, I just looked this up. Dermouflage.
You can cover up tattoos Killer cover twenty eight bucks
on Amazon.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
There you go. Is that a solution or like, find
a dress that covers most of them and then do
the dermouflage and the rest. I don't know what I
would do or where the proudly I mean, that's who
she is. You know, there's something wrong with that. It
sounds like the future mother in law has a huge
issue with tattoos. Yes, and they're not for everyone, and
wedding photos are forever, but you can also take different
(13:28):
combinations of the people. Right now, the wedding video you
can't really get out of that one. And if you're
the maid of honor, you're right next to the bride. Yeah,
but what do you think she should do? This is
Rosalia Michelle has demoted her from Maid of honor front
row with the family.
Speaker 5 (13:47):
At least she got front row.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Yeah, it's not too bad. Eight ninety nine KOs, do

The Coast one O three point five top stories, Top
of the Hour, Good Morning, I'm ellen k and ex
astronomer CEO. Andy Byron could sue Cold Play due to
the massive fallout from his kiss cam fiasco with his
former colleague Christian Cabot. A possible claim would be for defamation,
specifically as it relates to Chris Martin on stage saying
this either.
Speaker 7 (19:03):
They're having an affair or they have a great shun.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
Defamation is a statement, either written or verbal, that injures
a third party's reputation. There's huge doubt that mister Byron
would want further public scrutiny by bringing a borderline frivolous
suit against the event organizers and or cold Play. Okay,
and what about this? The Unicord Code Consortium has announced
eight no emojis that Apple may add in a future
twenty six update for iOS. The emojis include distorted face, fight, cloud,
(19:30):
ballet dancers, apple core, trombone, an orca, a hairy creature,
and a treasure chest. Those are being considered and be
like seahorse. Seahorse couples greet each other every morning with
a hug and a dance. They are one of the
few marine animals that form monogamous bonds, and their daily
ritual is touching. Each morning, bonded pairs perform a short
but elegant greeting dance. They twirl, they change colors, and
(19:52):
they swim side by side every single morning. It helps
seahorses stay connected, synchronize reproduction, and boost their survival chance.

invested so much in this. Bought my plane ticket and
hotel room months ago, purchased my dress, which she approved.
I've easily spent almost three thousand dollars already, not to
mention all the hours I put into helping her plan
every detail. A few nights ago, she called me with
news that completely blindsided me. She said she and her
(21:37):
future mother in law have been talking. They're concerned about
how my tattoos will be perceived at the ceremony. I'm
heavily tattooed. It's a huge part of who I am.
Michelle has never had an issue before. She told me
my tattoos would quote distract from the sanctity of the
ceremony and that it's not appropriate for the setting. Then
she said she thinks it's better if I sat in
(21:58):
the front row with the family instead of standing at
the altar. And she's already asked her little sister to
be my fillin who I completely lost on how to
handle this. Do I eat the twenty five hundred and
three thousand dollars I've already spent and stay home. I
feel so disrespected, I'm betrayed. With loving confusion, Rosalia, that
(22:18):
is just a big turn of events. Yeah, you got
your plans, you're so excited, she's your best friend, and
then you get that call and it doesn't sound like
there was an explanation like, hey, you know what my
mother in law is like really anti tattoo. She didn't
know she had pictures of us on Instagram, you know something. Yeah,
(22:39):
but it was it was one of those cold things,
very cold. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (22:43):
She could have at least gone further to make the
mother in law the bad guy here.
Speaker 2 (22:46):
Right, you know she did some bad nothing for her
best friend since high school.
Speaker 7 (22:50):
Yeah, I think even to ask your friend to take
a seat aside, or even to ask her like can
you hide your tattoos, Like, even that's rude.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
Right, Yeah, you know who you are. I've grown up
with you, We're best friends, we love each other.
Speaker 7 (23:07):
I would still go for the free dinner and dessert
and then enjoy my vacation.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
I mean Mexico City. It sounds like it's gonna be
a really nice wedding and he's probably staying in a
sweet hotel room too. All right, let's go to Cheryl.
All right, Cheryl, you heard the letter, you have your thoughts.
Speaker 8 (23:25):
Well, it sounds like the mother in law is controlling
the situation, and she knew about the tattoos before.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
Basically she should go to the go to Mexico.
Speaker 4 (23:37):
But it's not just skip the wedding. But it just
sounds like the mother in law is controlling the whole situation.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Yeah, it doesn't. Traditionally the father of the bride pay
for the wedding.
Speaker 4 (23:49):
So yeah, I usually I would think so, But yeah,
I would love to go.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
To Mexico City on a little getaway. I've never been there.
I hear it's just so beautiful and fun, and she's
got this, got the airfare. She could post all kinds
of photos of her around.
Speaker 5 (24:04):
Mexico city, Get a new tattoo.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
Yeah, get a tattoo.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
I would go just for the free dinner, right.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
Yeah, well, thank you Cheryl.
Speaker 4 (24:15):
Yeah, I no worries. Thank you so much. I have
a good time.
Speaker 11 (24:17):
Yeah, we enjoyed the listening at the show and all that.
Speaker 4 (24:20):
Oh yeah, yeah, tid bits and stuff.
Speaker 2 (24:23):
You're the best.
Speaker 4 (24:24):
Thanks, Okay, thanks again, nobody.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
Yeah, Rosalie isn't a pickle. Oh boy, what do you
do you do? Sometimes, you know, when weddings come around
and then families get involved in mother in laws and
all that stuff, it just it takes something that should
be the most beautiful, wonderful days and it just turns
it on its side drama. So Rosalie could also do this.
(24:48):
She could just do with the bride requests and go
sit in the front row with the family. She could
sit right there in that front row showing all of
her tattoos, so that on the other side of the
aisle where the laias, and then Rosalia could get up
and say let's do photos and just be all over
the video and the photos. She could do that. Eight
(25:11):

Speaker 10 (25:13):

Speaker 7 (25:42):
I have?
Speaker 11 (25:43):
I have a radio, okay.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
My husband has a boom box, little portable radio that
I carry with me everywhere.
Speaker 5 (25:51):
That's cool.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
My son, who works in tech, has a plugin digital.
Speaker 5 (25:56):
Clock by his bed. Yes, with the old radio check
one exactly.
Speaker 2 (26:00):
I love that, so I said, Calvin, okay, like you're
working in tech, you're working in AI. Yeah, but you
have a plug in clock radio. It looks like it's
from the eighties. But he said he loves it. He
just likes the old fashioned, like the whole thing where
you got to set the alarm and he sets it
to coast and he wakes up to us.
Speaker 8 (26:19):
So that's right, and so do I thank you?
Speaker 4 (26:23):
Well?
Speaker 2 (26:23):
How fun at Disneyland? You get to pick your park
one day one park tickets, but it's four of them

Speaker 2 (26:52):
It's Coast one on three point five el K Morning Show.
We read your letters every Monday and Wednesday, and today's
from Rosalie. Her best friend Michelle's getting married in Mexico City.
How fun is that? And she said, Hey, Rosalie, will
you be my maid of honor? You're my best friend
since high school. I love you. I don't want anyone
else in the whole world to stand next to me
(27:13):
on this special day, but you so. Rosalie was thrilled.
She bought her dress, which was approved by Michelle. She
got her hotel room, she got her airfare months ago.
It's been almost three grand and more than that emotional
support for the bride. Michelle calls her a few nights
ago and says, hey, my mother in law doesn't want
(27:34):
you at the altar with me because you're tattoos. She says,
it will ruin the sanctity of the wedding. So I'm
going to put you in the front road with my
family and my sister is going to be my moh
maid of honor. That's just ouch and a phone call.
So Rosalie doesn't know what to do. We're taking your calls.
(27:58):
Thank you for all of your advice too. So letters
to Ellen's all about what do you think? So Michelle,
what would you do? I wouldn't go, especially today with tattoos.
Speaker 11 (28:09):
Everybody has them and I don't think it makes for
a good or bad photo.
Speaker 4 (28:16):
And I wouldn't go.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
Yeah, so you would just well she's already spent about
three thousand dollars on our airfare and hotel.
Speaker 4 (28:24):
Oh well, I would go and have a party on
my own.
Speaker 2 (28:28):
That's what most are saying. Okay, that's good, that's good.
Speaker 8 (28:31):
Hi.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
Yeah, I mean all right, Michelle, thanks for having us on.
Speaker 4 (28:35):
Okay, bye, nice.

Host one of three point five top stories Top of
the Hour.
Speaker 2 (28:50):
Good morning, I'm Ellen k and the tribute is growing
to Ozzy Osbourne six seven eight zero Hollywood Boulevard. That
is where his star is on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,
right in front of Please Believe it or not, Ozzy Osbourne.
May he rest in peace. He sold one hundred million records.
He's in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice,
inducted as a member of Black Sabbath and also as
a solo artist. That honor came just last year. Ozzy
(29:15):
Osbourne talking about the importance of fans.
Speaker 6 (29:17):
If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be sitting in
this house though, I wouldn't.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
Be talking to you. That is so loyal.
Speaker 6 (29:23):
I mean, you can imagine him fifty years, what's coming gone.
I've been there forever for me. I now it's for fathers,
sons and sons kids.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
Nah, and I love going out to the entire family.
Sharon Osbourne a friend of ours, and they requested privacy
at this time, all right. The permanent four day work
week increases productivity and job satisfaction. This keeps on coming up.
This is a recent study. The most recent study by
Boston College found that transitioning to a permanent four day
work we can lead to increased job satisfaction. The research
(29:54):
was published as well in Nature Human Behavior, tracking thousands
of employees across a hundre undred and forty companies in
six countries. Further studies are planned to explore long term
effects on workplace culture and performance. And if you still
haven't settled on your drink of the summer, the latest
summer sipper people are obsessed with is rose sak. There's
(30:15):
an importer that says it's become much more than a novelty.
There's a balance acidity and umami. The alcohol is higher,
it's not just sweet and frothy sak. Brewers can get
that pink cube by using red yeast. So this is
supposed to be the drink of the summer. And now
you know, And after a cool start to the week
and a kind of a lot of marine layer, this
morning's burning off, sunny, hot and clear. Heighs of eighty
(30:37):
five are going to ninety by the end of the week,
And right now it is sixty six in Burbank Kost,
Los Angeles. It's coast one of three point five coming up.
More of your responses to our letters to Ellen and
one thousand dollars Cash.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
It's your Cash on Coast so loving the LLENK Morning Show.
Speaker 9 (30:55):
Well you're none no one fand we love you.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
We love you, make us a precept on your iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
We love you to thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (31:02):
Post one O three point five coming up.
Speaker 2 (31:04):
Why you always need to smile? Some haunting words, but
beautiful words from Malcolm Jamal Warner. You're going to share
that with you just ahead. Plus your Cash on Coast
is coming up. Rosalia and Michelle best friend since high school.
Rosalia is heavily tatted, and all of a sudden, she's
asked not to be the maid of honor anymore in
(31:26):
Michelle's wedding. The mother in law doesn't want her at
the altar because of the tattoos.
Speaker 5 (31:30):
Which the mother in law didn't know until recently.
Speaker 2 (31:34):
Michelle had to call her and tell her, Hey, I'm
going to put you in the front with the family.
I'm so sorry, but my mother in law doesn't want
you at the altar. So Rosalie doesn't know what to do.
Speaker 5 (31:49):
She's already sunk a lot of money into this too,
almost three thousand bucks.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
Yeah, I mean, you're so excited too, she said. She's
been giving her all kinds of emotional support, got our
hotel room and her flights. Let's go to Jose Luise.
So you say you have special insight on this, what
is it?
Speaker 11 (32:06):
So I'm from Mexico myself, so I know the cultural
part of it is really against tattoos. I have tattoos,
My brother has tatooes. But our older sisters they are
big complainers about it, like the fact that we did
that to ourselves. Right, So culturally speaking, I understand where
(32:27):
the mother in law is coming from, meeting the church
even more so. So I'm not against tattooes, but I
do see where they're coming from. You have to keep
in mind that you're going to a different country, a
different culture to get married that so there are different
expectations and waves. So I'm just throwing that out as
(32:47):
a different perspective.
Speaker 2 (32:48):
Well, how do you like the way Michelle told her?
So he calls her up and it's getting close to
the wedding and MEAs in November and she kind of
had to break her heart.
Speaker 11 (32:57):
Yeah, that was definitely about on the park. You know,
you could have had a face to face conversation explain
the furation for all that.
Speaker 5 (33:05):
Yeah, good point.
Speaker 2 (33:06):
Well, you know, Ryan asked me to be a grooms woman,
a grooms woman, and I was the only woman standing
up there with the grooms men. And if he would
have come to me, if you would have come to
me Ryan and said, Ellen, you know, you just could
have ruined the sanctity of the wedding if you're standing
there because you can't have females long blonde hair, I
would have been so upset.
Speaker 11 (33:26):
Yeah, yeah, No, It's definitely a challenging thing. Like but again,
you're not in the US. You're in a different country,
You're in a different culture, different expectations. You're in a church,
and you should respect that sas way should be.
Speaker 2 (33:42):
All right, Well, thank you jose Luis. Thanks for having
us on your.
Speaker 11 (33:45):
Car, of course, thank you for having me and love
you guys, listening to you every morning on the way
to drop off the kids.
Speaker 5 (33:51):
Awesome.
Speaker 11 (33:52):
Thanks, have a good one you too.
Speaker 3 (33:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
Ryan, if you would have made that call to me,
I just would have been I mean, we we we
went together to get our tuxes faded. Yeah, and then
I put my hair up just so I look kind
of like one of the guys. I was looking forward
to drinking beers and eating potato chips with you guys,
which we did. We did that down in your lair,
in the BA lair. You dressed me before you got
(34:16):
me all set up for your cuffling sin.
Speaker 5 (34:18):
Yeah you did.
Speaker 2 (34:19):
And I just would have missed out on all of that.
I know, you know how.
Speaker 3 (34:22):
I would have told you though on the air live,
so I could have just done it in front of
everybody that I didn't.
Speaker 5 (34:27):
Do it though.
Speaker 2 (34:28):
I'm just saying, okay, living it legos real, I was there.
I love you, Okay, yeah you too.
Speaker 1 (34:34):
It's the lan K Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (34:35):
You guys are great to listen to, great energy.
Speaker 1 (34:38):
Cost one O three point five who did thank you
for adopting.
Speaker 2 (34:42):
Yes, we are grateful. Adopt. Don't shop. I went to
see Superman the movie and they have these Crypto Dog
popcorn bucks. So it's Crypto the Dog, the super Dog
wearing his cape and he's sitting with his tail up.
The tail is also like a handle. Yeah, and then
(35:04):
he's holding a popcorn box and you put your popcorn
in it. Now, this thing was not cheap. This is
a thirty two dollars pop riill. Okay, it holds a
lot of popes and you have to buy the popcorn separately.
Speaker 5 (35:17):
Oh come on, oh, work, work, it is cute.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
So we we have like the rewards card thing at AMC.
So then we got the popcorn and they said we'll
upgrade you to a large for free. And then I
was trying to get it in the bucket. But I
did use this at the theater. So and because of
Superman and Crypto, the super Dog adoption searches have gone
up five.
Speaker 5 (35:45):
That's cool.
Speaker 2 (35:45):
Yeah, So hopefully a lot of dogs who need forever
loving homes are getting placed in forever loving homes. And
that's why we give you wet nose Wednesday. So pause
what you're doing. This is the perfect time to adopt
and at La Animal Shelters this weekend. It's the bye
by July adoption weekend. Go in meet your forever for
(36:06):
e love. All the details are waiting for you at
Coast three five dot com slash adopt.
Speaker 1 (36:12):
It's the lanky morning Shell.
Speaker 9 (36:14):
Is Sunshine and a ball.
Speaker 2 (36:16):
This is Ellen.
Speaker 1 (36:16):
Yeah, you got to my morning Coast one O three
point five.
Speaker 2 (36:20):
Rosalia wrote us a letter. We read your letters to
Ellen every Monday and Wednesday. And Rosalie has been asked
by her best friend, Michelle, to be maid of honor.
What an honor? Stand up there? And we found out
that she asked Rosalia because she has multiple sisters, so
she thought, well, this will be fair. My best friend
will stand up for me, and my sisters can be bridesmaids,
(36:43):
so everybody's in order.
Speaker 1 (36:45):
Sure.
Speaker 2 (36:46):
But she then she called Rosalie and said, my mother
in law doesn't want you standing at the altar because
of your tattoos. She's heavily tatted. So you're gonna sit
in the front row with the family, and you're not
going to be my maid of honor my little sisters.
So Rosalia doesn't know what to do. She's already spent
(37:08):
what almost three grand Yeah, an hotel, airfare Mexico City wedding.
How fun never been invited to a wedding in Mexico City.
Speaker 5 (37:19):
They have an opening at this one?
Speaker 2 (37:23):
Maybe all right? Who we're going to Laura? Yeah, all right, Laura,
So Laura, what would you do? What do you think
you know?
Speaker 8 (37:32):
Is the mother in law paying for the winding?
Speaker 11 (37:34):
Oof?
Speaker 2 (37:34):
Oof, we don't know that. It wasn't in the letter.
Speaker 8 (37:37):
Yeah, it's lon law's not paying for the winding. She
should stand up for her friends regard Liz, this is
your friend, this is truly your friend. You stand up
for your friend. You have the mother in law say, yo,
this is my friend. You've been there, my ride or die.
You're just now becoming part of my family. But I'm
not losing my friend because you have a religious problem
(37:58):
with tattoos.
Speaker 2 (38:00):
You know, it's the it's the mother in law's turf.
But I don't know who's paying.
Speaker 8 (38:05):
I'm a little to my friends. It's like you telling
my friends she can't be in with new but she
spent all that money.
Speaker 2 (38:14):
Now, I'm telling you. Sometimes when it comes to mother
in laws and stuff like that. And watch the Gilded
Age on HBO, Max and and the rich lady in
New York forces her daughter to marry the Dukes so
that she can have royalty in the family, forces her.
They don't the daughter doesn't even love him.
Speaker 8 (38:32):
Yeah, well that's part of that time back then.
Speaker 2 (38:35):
Yeah, she moved all the way to England and the
mother in law's treating her like crap.
Speaker 8 (38:39):
Oh yeah, just look at Diane and Charles. Charles didn't
love Diane. He had to marry He loved Camilla. That's
why he's got Camilla. Now that's right.
Speaker 2 (38:49):
Love always finds a way.
Speaker 5 (38:50):
We really took a hard left here, didn't.
Speaker 8 (38:52):
I sorry?
Speaker 2 (38:53):
But all right, well Laura, we love that you listen.
Thank you for calling in. We're loving all these different opinions.
Speaker 8 (39:00):
Great, okay, thanks, okay, good bye.
Speaker 1 (39:04):
It's the L and K Morning Shell.
Speaker 9 (39:06):
You guys do a great job, and thank you for
starting my morning every day. I appreciate you all so much.
Speaker 1 (39:12):
Cost one three point five.
Speaker 2 (39:14):
It's all about love Ozzy Osbourne, so much love and
outpouring for Ozzy as he's left this earth, had gone
to heaven. Growing memorial at six seven eight oh Hollywood
Boulevard in front of Ripley's Believe It or Not. That
is where Ozzy Osbourne has his star in the Hollywood
(39:34):
Walk of Fame. A fitting location. I would say, yeah, yeah,
I Believe it or Not. And our hearts go out
to the family Kelly, Jack and never have to know
Amy too well. But Sharon, yeah, yeah, you guys spend
a lot of time together at the talk. Wow. So
it's sad, but my god, the world loving this guy.
(39:58):
And if you want to go to a star the
Walk of Fame, you can, you can leave something a
prayer or a flower or whatever you like. Candle, but
I think they're gonna end up possibly closing a little
area there. So keeps on growing and Ozzy Osbourne is
our quote of the day. Before I get to that,
we just want to say thank you for joining us.
(40:20):
Carrie Steele is next. More cash Line Coast all Day,
Melan Kay.
Speaker 5 (40:24):

Speaker 2 (40:27):

for you see world, Angel City Music, money and fun.
So Ozzy Osbourne also talking about the importance of fans.
Speaker 6 (40:41):
Fans are what it's all about. I mean, if you
ain't got a fun, you ain't got a gig.
Speaker 2 (40:45):
Yeah, he's right. He was so simple, Yeah but deep.
So his quote of the day. We end every show
with the quote and gains. Maybe it's not too late
to learn how to love and forget how to hate.
Ozzy Osbourne. All right, have a beautiful day. Kiss on three,
kiss on me one two three.
Speaker 3 (41:04):
Hi, this is Sharon I was born and you're listening
to my good friend Ellen k on Coast one oh

Speaker 2 (41:20):
You're a real time cooky with a long history for
breaking little hearts like the want of me
