Speaker 1 (00:00):
Early mornings. We're up, you're up, let's connect. I think
about that when my alarm goes off. I think about
you Ryan and your alarm going off early, and you
Darlene and yours going off early. I think about our
friend Megan Henderson on KTLA her alarm goes off at
two oh one. Oh yeah, And so that's what really
(00:21):
helps me get my feet on the floor. And the dogs, yeah,
they're like feed me out. But thank you for having
us on and listening and giving us a Cat's go
to the four oh five right now, Oh ra, hell
you have an early morning shout out.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
I want to wish my little sister who's won her
way right now.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
You're leading a good example. What's the age difference between
the two of you.
Speaker 4 (00:45):
Oh, I'm in college. I'm in my sophomore year and
she's what like twelve. That's if they're in thirteen, so
seven years.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
Yeah. Well, you're a good big sister for wishing her
a great day, a lovely day. Have a good one, raw, Thank.
Speaker 5 (01:03):
You, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 6 (01:04):
Have a great day you too.
Speaker 1 (01:07):

ninety one.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
Hi Calista, bye there, how are you.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
We're doing great and we understand you want to shout
out somebody.
Speaker 5 (01:16):
Too, Yes, my friend Jody.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
Tell us about Jody.
Speaker 5 (01:21):
She is always there for everybody, always supporting everyone. She
has a really close friend of hers that she's reaching
the end of her life and she was there out
there for a couple of months up north taking care
of her. Anyway, it's getting closer, and I know it's
a difficult time for her right now, and I want
her to know that she's surrounded by loved ones that
(01:45):
care for her as well.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
Oh right, well, she's got a big heart, so we're
gonna surround.
Speaker 7 (01:50):
Her with us.
Speaker 5 (01:51):
Yes, thank you, Yeah, all.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Right, Calysta, have a good one.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
Thank you you too. Thank you, Linda.
Speaker 2 (02:02):

it's gone to be.
Speaker 7 (02:17):
I Love.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
Coast one of three show stream us on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
Oh, thank you for being up with us early.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Now we have Susanne on hold right now. Normally we
give a happiness hack and you say you have a
happiness hack for us, What is it?
Speaker 3 (02:41):
My happiness hack is I take a candle and I
put it in the cup holder, usually in the back seat,
since I use my cup holders in the front seat
and I take the lid off and that makes my
car smell good forever.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
You are not Susanne, you are your genius.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
I used to sell candles you shoppened. That was one
way I sold a lot of candles as I would
tell people to do that, and they thought that was
a great idea.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
What is your favorite scent and what and for your car?
Speaker 3 (03:10):
Right now? I have a grapefruit one in here, freshing,
but I really like the ones that smell like cookies.
Speaker 1 (03:18):
Oh yeah, is there a name for those, Ryan, I
think just the chocolate chip cookie. Well, Sudan, thank you
for that. We love that. You gave us a happiness
hack for life and we're grateful for you. Thank you,
Suzanne Post one O three point five The ellen K
Morning Show.
Speaker 8 (03:34):
It's the ellen K Morning Show.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
Thank you ellen K. Just real quick, a little kiss
on you well, thank you so much for making my day.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Host one o three point five are here with you
to give you money and music fun and we're going
to read your letters to Ellen. We have so many
choose from we'll have to meet off the air and select.
But if you have any kind of issue in your life,
write a letter, we read it on the air and
then and you have the best listeners in the world,
(04:02):
so they call in and give you great advice. I think, anyway,
I should start writing letters to Ellen. Write me a
letter right now. No, no, actually no, I'll write it
for you, dear Ellen. I find myself yearning for companionship,
but I don't want to look in the wrong places. Okay,
(04:23):
my tendency is to always want to couple up, but
I feel like I need to be with myself. How
do I force myself into isolation?
Speaker 2 (04:33):
How do you and that? Okay? Fine, great, look okay.
Speaker 7 (04:36):
Yes, herely Ryan, Yes, so how do I how a
letter to Ellen?
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Okay? So what I think Ryan should do is go
on dates and go on a lot of different dates,
but don't have expectations. Don't even think next date, no expectations.
Look more for friendship than coupleship. Look more for someone
(05:03):
to have fun with rather than someone to have a
future with.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
Settle down with Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Yeah, like, don't think future, just think fun. Okay, that
would be my advice.
Speaker 7 (05:13):
But said okay, and I appreciate that. That's great advice.
Thank you, Ellen, love your show.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
But okay, like what do you do though, if you're
somebody who how do I put this?
Speaker 1 (05:24):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (05:25):
I feel too quickly? Do you know what I'm saying?
Speaker 7 (05:32):
You're both nod in your head, But like, how do
I how do I not feel?
Speaker 2 (05:38):
You know?
Speaker 1 (05:39):
But how do you feel a lot for a person
you don't really know?
Speaker 2 (05:44):
That's the problem. Yeah, and then you end up in messes.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Let's see, Well we got some time.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Yeah, okay, I'll submit that.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
Sorry I brought it up.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Yeah, I kind of first real.
Speaker 8 (05:59):
Ellen came more.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
Sunshine and a bottle. This is Ellen.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
Yeah, my morning Coast one O three point five and
a letter from Bradley.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
He wants to know how do you handle blatant favoritism
at your workplace? There's always a favorite, you know. Look,
I'm one of six kids, and my mom and dad
were just so adamant of saying we don't have a
favorite child.
Speaker 7 (06:25):
Then later in life you always would. They'd be on
the phone with us here and you'd be like, Hi,
it's Ellen your favorite.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
Right because I believe that it's no slam on my
brothers and sisters. It's just that I I think that
I was the one who was the most homebody. Okay,
So I was. I just spent so much time with them. Yeah,
as a kid, as a teen, see young adult, as
an adult adult. So I don't know. I do believe
(06:53):
that there are favorites. And look here at work, I
think that we might be the favorite.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Of our boss.
Speaker 7 (07:00):
I think we're the easiest. Yeah, which probably makes us
the favorite.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
Oh okay, yeah, all right? Take that. Well, So Bradley
is being outsold by Maxine at the car dealership where
he works, and she sells so many more cars than
he does, and she only has to work three days
a week. She she maxes out Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays
and sometimes wears her pickleball outfits. So how do you
(07:23):
handle it?
Speaker 2 (07:24):
Okay?
Speaker 7 (07:25):
I have a serious question. The more I think about this,
is that actually is that favoritism? The boss showing her
favoritism or is she earned that?
Speaker 1 (07:31):
I think she earned it, right? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Is he miscalculating this?
Speaker 8 (07:35):
Right?
Speaker 1 (07:35):
And if Bradley's calling it favoritism, that kind of shows
you where his head is. It's an excuse yep. Why
isn't he selling like MEXI? He could make things fun,
he could, Yeah, what do you think? It's eight hundred
ninety two nine KOs.
Speaker 6 (07:48):
It's the Lank Morning Show on Coast one O three
point five and there's more coming up.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
It's the llen k Morning Shows.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
So good this morning.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
Thank you Coast one O three point bars. Can't write
us a letter and we just draw one and we
read them on the air COACHWEO three five dot com
and you'll see an envelope. Click on the envelope and
submit your letter to Ellen. We got one from Maggie.
It goes, I like this, Dear Ellen. A few days ago,
my husband Marcus and I were driving together with his
(08:17):
phone connected to Apple CarPlay as it always is, when
suddenly it texts message from his assistant Kristen was read
out loud and Kristen called him baby. She had texted,
don't forget your two o'clock with the DWP, see you soon, baby,
and he said, oh, I must have unmuted my messages.
(08:37):
So anyway, Maggie asked Marcus, why does your assistant call
you baby? I don't like that. I want to see
the other messages, and he said, no, you're not going
to see them, but that's how she talks to everyone
at the office. So we call bs on that. Okay,
but I know, Ryan, I know. We really give me
the other side, Like, what what could it possibly be
(08:59):
besides an zealous over friendly assistant.
Speaker 7 (09:01):
Okay, think about, like, through the years, how many people
who've worked here who were unknowingly inappropriate but didn't mean
anything by it.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Be it mouth kissers, or a lot of.
Speaker 7 (09:12):
Times you'd people you see people coming and they're like, hey, mabe, hey,
you know, like it's not it doesn't have to be.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
You know, cutesy, it doesn't. You're right, you're absolutely right.
But guess what. Then show me the rest of them.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Okay, that's a fair point.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
Show me all of Kristin. That's where he's being an idiot,
and that's where he's guilty. Right, So, in the court
of relationship law, I would say hand it over or
you're guilty, and there's nothing in between. It's black or white, Rhonda,
what do you think?
Speaker 6 (09:47):
Oh no, that's so inappropriate. I would go to work
and I would meet Kristin. I would take my husband
a lovely lunch and looks fantastic when I arrived, and
I explain to her that's inappropriate. Please don't put nicknames
on my husband like baby. And I would definitely insist
on seeing the other text messages.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
Yeah, he won't show them to her, and I'm wondering
if he's just trying to like calm everything down. You know,
maybe she really does call everyone in the office honey
and baby.
Speaker 6 (10:15):
But oh no, that's if he was calling all the
women in the office honey and baby, he could be
charged with sexual harassment. So what why does that give
her the right to do that that's inappropriate?
Speaker 7 (10:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (10:27):
I agree, I agree.
Speaker 6 (10:29):
I see, and I think that she should be able
to see those text messages so she can move on.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
Okay, like move on, move on, move on.
Speaker 6 (10:37):
Like feel but everything is okay, it is what he
said it is or it's not, Yeah exactly. If it's
just some woman being flirtatious, I still think that needs
to be handled. But if he's not showing the text messages,
he's not caring about his wife's feelings the way that
he should.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (10:55):
Yeah, I don't think it's appropriate. I felt livid when
I heard it, kind of. I was like, oh hell no.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
Thank you, Ryanda.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
Wait what if just hear me out.
Speaker 7 (11:06):
What if Apple car play Reddit wrong and it was
don't forget your.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
To Ryan, stop it?
Speaker 2 (11:10):
Two pm appointment, baby shower.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
No, Ryan, that's I mean, why why do some people
do that? Try to find every way to get around.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
I'm just saying, we listen, we weren't in the car.
Speaker 6 (11:25):
If she wasn't attracted to him, she wouldn't be calling
him those names because she wouldn't want the attention that
would come from doing that. That's a that's a little
dangerous game they're playing.
Speaker 5 (11:35):
It's the LNK Morning Show.
Speaker 6 (11:37):
I got a program doing my phone.
Speaker 3 (11:38):

up north and by a Sacramento and I haven't seen
him for a couple of years, so it's going to
be amazing to see him. He had the opportunity to
try out this new thing, these glasses that allow blind
(12:08):
people are legally blind people to be able to see.
He found out he had the opportunity to get them,
and they were ninety five hundred dollars and he was
trying to fundraise and he's like, I just want to
be able to see my grandkids for the first time.
I've never seen them before, and I want to be
(12:28):
able to find out what color my granddaughter's eyes are
and see my grandson for the first time.
Speaker 3 (12:35):
And he.
Speaker 4 (12:37):
Got the glasses yesterday.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
Wow, oh my god.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
Next Saturday, I will pick him up from the airport
and he has the glasses and he'll be able to see.
Speaker 1 (12:51):
That's so beautiful. I've never heard of these glasses. What
an amazing miracle invention.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
Yeah, He's like I've been waiting sixty years for something
to help and see and now I have the opportunities.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
That's going to be a beautiful reunion.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
Yeah, I can't wait.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
You you really need to call us back. I want
to hear how it goes, and I want to I
want to know, like what he says when he looks
into your your baby's eyes for the first time.

Said, yep, win our five hundred dollars.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
Incredible. What was the ticket or the game? If you
don't mind us asking so much?
Speaker 8 (14:24):
It was a poker poker.
Speaker 1 (14:25):
Okay poker, okay poker? And where did you buy it?
