Netflix's rumored to team with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey
for a love story documentary. After announcing their engagement, the
quickly went viral. Netflix is now eager to secure the
couple for a big budget documentary with a focus on
their upcoming wedding. They've been investing in celebrity driven content
with recent deals with Prince Harry, Megan Markle, and now
(02:07):
Kelsey's been exploring a lot of opportunities here in Hollywood,
So we'll see if they go for that. Weapons taking
the top spot on the Labor Day weekend box office, well, Jaws,
a fifty year old blockbuster, beat out two new films,
Caught Stealing and The Roses so everyone was interested in
seeing that fiftieth anniversary and veteran actress Kim Novak is
concerned that the upcoming biopic Scandalus, which portrays her nineteen
(02:30):
fifties romance with Sammy Davis Junior, may focus too much
on the different sexual aspects of their relationship. Sidney Sweeney
is slated to play Kim Novak in this the film
is in pre production, so she just wants it to
be an honest telling Sidney Sweeney though great casting And
speaking of that, Scooter Braun is supposedly dating Sydney So
(02:53):
wait what She's supposedly connected with Braun, who is forty
four in Italy at Jeff Bezos wedding. Okay, so a
source told some tabloids that Scooter as friends to say
hush hush about the relationship until they're ready to come
out to the world. I don't know if there's a
headline he's putting out.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
Also, I just realized they said no like I had
a shot, Oh slipped through my fingers.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
Damn your scooter.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
And a lot of chatter over the weekend from shocked
viewers of the Netflix documentary. I'm one of them. Unknown
number the high School Catfish. The film focuses on a
bizarre cyberbullying of a teenage couple in a small Michigan
town that spanned I think two years until it was
finally solved. It is so rivetting. So again, it's on Netflix.
(03:43):
It's called Unknown Number, the High School Catfish. It is
a tail and it is shocking.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Was it the best thing you watched this weekend?
Speaker 1 (03:52):
I think so? Yeah, it's really good.
Speaker 6 (03:53):
Good?
Speaker 7 (03:54):
All right?
Speaker 1 (03:54):
What about this? Cindy Laffer had her final farewell tour show.
She did it at the Bowl shared Joinder John Lesson
and I did as well, Joni Mitchell and Sizza And
that was filmed and it will be a Grammy for sentence,
So I'll be voicing that. Cindy Laupert concluding her farewell
tour and Sabarena Carpenter is not afraid to write songs
about her relationships. She sat down with Gail King, she
(04:16):
revealed her past partners or not put off about songs
about them.
Speaker 8 (04:20):
Most of the time, they've been pretty flattered when they
get a song written about them, good or bad.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
I think they're just excited to get a shout out.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
I'm not scared of men in that sense.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
I I'm scared of men sometimes, but I'm not scared
of in that sense.
Speaker 4 (04:33):
I'm not scared.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
I think I will attract exactly who I'm supposed to attract.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
Okay, well, if you've seen her album cover from her
new album, you'll know what she wants to attract.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
It's the Ellen k Morning Show, Sunshine and a Ball.
Speaker 1 (04:50):

Your rose is something good in your life? Your thorn
is something you know a challenge and then your bud
is something that you're looking forward to.
Speaker 12 (05:39):
Oh boyh I have to ask somebody else that question.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
No, no, no, we're asking you, Ken.
Speaker 8 (05:44):
You're asking me that question.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
Okay, what's your rose?
Speaker 10 (05:48):
What's my rose?
Speaker 12 (05:50):
That would be my wife.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
Oh that's good. What's your thorn? Oh, that'd be my wife.

Speaker 13 (07:15):
It's the morning show this morning, thank you, Coast A
three point by Let's get happy.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
Yes, let's so I have two today.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
I want you to tell me how you say this word,
because I think I say it wrong all the time.
It's the spice that starts with a T T U
R M Americ Tameric.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
Yeah, I think the Americ. Okay, when you say is
America American, I'm not positive.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
But that's how we say it here. Okay, Okay, okay,
so we're gonna start with America.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
So there's a versatile spice. It's like the Mookie Bets
of spices and play shortstop, second, right field, can hit
for power every position. Yeah, so, uh, you know, add
it to your soups and stews.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
It's got whole body benefits.
Speaker 3 (07:59):
It's proved and to lessen the effects of rheumatoid arthritis,
slows Alzheimer's diabetes. But here's why I bring this up today.
A new study has shown a direct link to an
increase in serotonin and dopamine. So not only good for
your like internal but it's good for your brain.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
Okay, tell everyone what happens to take too much.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
Okay, you're going to bring this up.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
Let me just punctuate this by saying it's a powerful
way to boost your mood, but only take the recommended amount.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (08:24):
Ellen gave me a dropper like a bottle.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
Yeah, this liquid turmeric.
Speaker 3 (08:28):
Yeah, and you're supposed to put it under your tongue,
and I, you know, I just I don't know. Maybe
this is a guy thing, but I was like, okay,
if like two drops is recommended, I'll do four. And
one morning I was looking across at Ellen and I
just developed a raging, bloody.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
Nose and I'm like, what did you do? And he said,
I think I did eight drops. So make sure that
you know your tumeric consumption follow the label is controlled.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
Yeah, okay, let's talk about this too. Okay, as we
wind down summer, Ellen, which is hard to say.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
What is your favorite thing to eat?
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Watermelon?
Speaker 2 (09:01):
Watermelon?
Speaker 1 (09:01):
Love, love, watermelon. Okay, can't get enough of it.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
I know you're not a meat eater, so this one
may not appeal to you, But my fellow, my summer meal.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
I can't get enough BLTs right now. I'm on a BLT.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
I am on a run of BLTs. So I was
looking over the weekend like ways to kick up your BLT.
I found this great hack. Instead of individual strips of bacon,
you know, you just put the like one one one one.
You interlock the pieces of bacon before you fry it
or bacon. Yeah, criss cross, think like a wicker basket
and it stays in that position. It ensures a perfect
(09:32):
coverage bacon every bite, and it doesn't like crumble and
fall apart like the individual pieces. It's a whole like slop.
It's a whole thing of bacon. Yeah, that's great game changer.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
For what else?
Speaker 3 (09:43):
BLT stands for? Better leave talkbacks on a free iHeart app.
Speaker 4 (09:49):
Morning show.
Speaker 11 (09:50):

always the first Sunday in November, so it's really just

up to the calendar, which means next year November first.
But you're going to have those those later sunsets or
those earlier sunsets coming earlier than usual. And perhaps you've
seen this now viral clip a grown adult tennis fan
who snatched a hat from a little kid given to
him by a player at the US Open. Turns out
this guy as a Polish millionaire and a CEO. He
(11:51):
first spoke out and said, and I quote, if you
were faster, you would have the hat, then threatened to
sue anyone who criticized him. After the Internet went wild
with that, peetur Zasareka has now apologized and called it
a grave mistake. Still hasn't given the hat back, though
the player who tried to give the kid this hat
was able to find the little guy later in the day.
Gifted him with a ton of march Thanks God and

Speaker 6 (16:09):
So my husband drives for Uber and I just opened
a letter that basically says they've opened a behavioral claim
against him, that he's going to be contacted by someone
at the company in the coming days. And I'm just
like what, I'm freaking out?
Speaker 7 (16:26):
What is this?
Speaker 12 (16:27):
What did he do?
Speaker 6 (16:28):
Do I confront him or wait to see if he
brings it up, because what if it's really major? I mean,
this letter feels very major.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
I wasn't expecting that. Abby and the Uber investigation, she
said behavioral?
Speaker 6 (16:46):
Ok?
Speaker 10 (16:47):
Ok?
Speaker 6 (16:48):
Again, of course, So my husband drives for Uber, and
I just opened a letter that basically says they've opened
a behavioral claim against him, that he's going to be
contacted by someone at the company and the coming days.
And I'm just like what.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
Hmmm, We're like what too? Has anyone ever gotten a
behavior or a letter from Uber? And if you are
an Uber driver, you know someone who did? And also
Abby you opened his mail?
Speaker 3 (17:15):
Oh, it's a federal crime, even a spouse. I just
really the US is yeah, yeah, I just looked this
up because that was the same thought I had. Why
you got tough husband's mail? US Code seventeen o two,
punishable by fines and or prison.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
Even if you're married to the person, and even if
you're in the same home. Uh huh, No way, it's
a federal offense, punishable by what.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
Finds and or prison.
Speaker 4 (17:36):
I'm not kidding.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
My wife opens my mail all the time. He does.
Does that not drive you crazy?
Speaker 1 (17:40):
Not?
Speaker 10 (17:41):
That would?
Speaker 7 (17:41):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (17:41):
I would? That would drive me.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
Really, I don't mind my husband's accidentally opened my mail
or packages. It doesn't bother me at all.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
I just think it's a respect thing. You see the
name on it. Don't pretend like it was an accident.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
But right, But if you're married to the person and
you're living my mail. But okay, but it does it
really matter? Like aren't you gonna tell the person anyway?
Like why hasn't Abby's husband said, Hey, babe, by the way,
I'm gonna be getting a behavior letter from Uber because
I did something bad at work.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
Probably because he did something bad at work.
Speaker 7 (18:16):
I know.
Speaker 1 (18:17):
But she's gonna find out eventually, right, and then the
letter comes in.
Speaker 3 (18:23):
So what does she do with the letter? Leave it
on the counter, Let him have that same little jolt
she just had.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
Maybe she puts it in his Uber. Ella's on You're
around where Ellenks go you She's gonna grandpa hold no.

us cry in the past year.
Speaker 6 (21:38):
My guess is a movie?
Speaker 1 (21:40):
A movie? Criet, movies all the time. It's a really
great guess. It's not the right answer. Oh so sorry,

Speaker 6 (21:49):
Okay, nice chatting with both of you. Okay, welcome too.
Speaker 1 (21:53):

you got the work starting, so let's get your guests.

uh cried about this in the last year.
Speaker 11 (22:07):
So my guess is traffic.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
Traffic, You're just stuck. So what do you do? Ten
percent of us cry?
Speaker 4 (22:14):
You are right, it's traffic.
Speaker 12 (22:16):

Speaker 2 (22:50):

Speaker 1 (22:53):
You whimpered.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
It was and it was just back. It was bumpered.
I was two hours each way and it was more
of a like.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
It was whimpered like.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
It's the L and K Morning Shell think I fall
in love with you?
Speaker 10 (23:04):
Guys?
Speaker 1 (23:05):
Is that official? Are we dating?
Speaker 10 (23:07):
We are online dating Coast.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
One oh three point five Top stories Top of the hour,
Good morning, I'm ellen k and beach warnings, dangerous surf conditions.
Those current events are continuing through today. Is happening all weekend.
There were hundreds pulled out of dangerous rip currents at
beaches all up and down our coast. It's called a
long period south swell bring an elevated surf up to
six feet to nearly all of our La in Ventura
(23:30):
County beaches. The worst will be our south facing beaches,
especially between Point Magoot to Malibu. Serious rip current warnings
as well, and if God forbid you're ever caught in
a rip, current safety officials say, do not fight it.
Instead swim parallel to the shore, then head back towards land.
Once you're out of the current. Always swim where there
are lifeguards. Lifeguards are ready to jump in there and
(23:51):
save you. Nobody matching all six numbers and last sight's
massive power ball drawing that means tomorrow is worth a
whop and one point three bill if you want to
take that cat straight up, five hundred and eighty nine
million dollars. Big congrats though to one lucky player in
Sherman Oaks matching five digits, missed that power ball, but
still taking on one point three million dollars. And the
era of name image likeness deals nil deals has led
(24:14):
to exposure of money paid to college football players. College
season opening over the weekend, and this season players expect
to earn one point nine billion dollars, almost twice as
much as the one billion college football players were estimated
have made last year. Speaking to college as more colleges
and universities are allowing pets and dorms, students keeping pets
(24:35):
and dorms is okay, it reduces stress at Foster's Community, Mit,
Stephens College, Eckered College in Florida. Even at Bowling Green
University in Ohio, the football team has an emotional support
cap named Pudge. It's a fat fuffy that makes everybody
feel better. So I loved seeing this happening. And binge
watching your favorite shows might actually be good for you.
(24:57):
Study shows, different kinds of types actually get you sucked
in and you forget about any stress happening in your life.
Not all binge washing is equally beneficial to positive effects.
Emerging people deeply engage with something that speaks to them,
So if you find a favorite show, then you know
that that's what it is. And protein bars do you
like them? Do you hate them? David Protein has been
(25:19):
voted the best protein bar. It's twenty eight grams of
protein and it's got clean ingredients. Tried one over the weekend.
If I could get over the chewing, then yeah, the
taste was pretty good. It was the brownie and not bad.
It's just a lot of chewing, you know. But congratulations
(25:40):
to David's. They are not a partner of ours. It
is not a commercial. They were just voted the best
all right, another scorcher for the south Land, looking at
more triple digits this afternoon. We're going to start a
cooling trend tomorrow. Resita one hundred, Rosemead ninety five for
your highs and right now seventy five in Burbank Kost,
Los Angeles Coast one O three point five talk back Tuesday.
(26:01):
Leave your talkbacks for us, and I send you the
Goo Goo Dolls for that. And so you're listening for Aha,
take on me. It's gonna played before nine for one
thousand dollars.
Speaker 13 (26:10):
I say, good morning shows, so good this morning.
Speaker 4 (26:15):
Thanks day past one O three point bot.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
And we're the only k morning show on your talk
back Tuesday. You've been talking. Everybody's talking on our talk back.
Just go to the iHeart app and tap that mic.
You're in our studio and we love hearing from you.
Everyone gets digitally entered for our drawing at nine forty five.
Go to the Goo Goo Dolls.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
They're so good live, you.
Speaker 1 (26:38):
Know, and they're number fifteen on the global charts. After
that song, I mean it's been around since nineteen ninety eight.
Iris and Yeah, Iris came roaring back, right and there's
still a yeah song of the summer, John Resnick. He's
gone from Johnny to.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
John a little more distinguished.
Speaker 1 (26:55):
Yeah, I think you just wanted to grow up. Nice guy,
socially awkward, but he's great on stage. I just hosted
him as a thing. Yeah, he's really sweet. We want
to send you there so get your talkbacks. We've all
been a little bit shocked by this one from Abby.
Speaker 6 (27:16):
So my husband drives for Uber and I just opened
a letter that basically says they've opened a behavioral claim
against him, and I'm freaking out.
Speaker 7 (27:25):
What is this?
Speaker 1 (27:26):
What did he do?
Speaker 6 (27:27):
Do I confront him or wait to see it if
he brings it up.
Speaker 1 (27:32):
Right, And he hadn't brought it up yet, But you
opened his mail, Abby, and now you have so many questions,
as we all would if you wouldn't have opened it.
How long would it take him to tell you he's
being essentially, you know, investigated by his employer Uber?
Speaker 2 (27:48):
If ever, if ever, oh.
Speaker 1 (27:49):
You think you would have just tried to get away
with it?
Speaker 2 (27:51):
Depends on how it shakes out.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
H Well, Abby opened his mail, and then Ryan you
found out that's a federal offense. So we'll get to
all of those details. But Teresa Baldwin Park.
Speaker 8 (28:03):
What do you think I would straight out ask him,
because I'd be in trouble for opening his mail for sure,
But if there's something going on, he'd be in way
more trouble. Yeah, Look, the mail thing.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
It's like the trouble outweighs the other trouble. And so
you don't really care how Maddie gets about you opening
the letter. It's something he's obviously kept from you, right.
Speaker 8 (28:27):
And if he said, well, why would you open my mail? Anyway?
If it was nothing, I'd say, well, what would you do?
I mean, you know, I have a right to know.
You're my spouse, my partner. I'm you know, very interested
in what's going on.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
But from the outside of a letter, you don't know
that it's a disciplinary action on the inside until you
open it. So would you just be opening his mail
all the time anyway? Do you do that?
Speaker 14 (28:54):
No?
Speaker 8 (28:54):
I wouldn't open it all the time anyway, But you
know it becomes to me, doob That's a whole different story,
you know, because uber, who what kind of letters would
they be getting? You know, if it was something potentially good,
you'd probably already know about it and tell her. He'd
share it if it was good.
Speaker 1 (29:14):
So then you know, if it's coming from Uber, it's
going to be either nothing or it's going to be
something bad.
Speaker 8 (29:19):
Well that's what would be my guess. Yeah, And there's
so many such things that go on anyway, Probably an
uber have my jackles up?
Speaker 1 (29:28):
You know, Well, Ryan, why don't you read her? The
punishable by what? It's like a felony it is, it's
punishable by what finds in jail everything.
Speaker 3 (29:38):
US Code seventeen o two states that it is a
federal crime to open even your spouse's mail, which shocks me.
Speaker 8 (29:45):
Yeah, me too, because if he complained about that, then
I wouldn't want to be married to him anyway.
Speaker 14 (29:52):
Why would you love it?
Speaker 1 (29:54):
Thanks, Teresa, you're the best.
Speaker 8 (29:56):
All right, have a wonderful.
Speaker 1 (29:58):
Day, Teresa says, why would you want to be married
to him anyway? If you open it and this is bad,
he's obviously keeping it from you. He didn't see it coming,
I guess. And if you're Uber and you're taking disciplinary action,
would you not go a little more direct and quicker route,
maybe an email or some kind.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
Of straight through the app. That's how they communicate, straight
through the app.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
But he's getting letters and snail mail, and Abby opened it.
So I don't know. I think that the best thing
to do is to take that letter and put it
in his uber and then and then just see, like, what,
what's he going to say? I'm going to hear it
(30:42):
from him, and he's obviously didn't expect it, and he's
hiding it. And I wouldn't care if I opened his
man I'm with Teresa on that. As mad as he
would get at you opening his mail. Yeah, that's not
a bigger thing. That's not the biggest issue here, right,
So I guess it's a felony even to open your
spouse's mail.
Speaker 2 (31:03):
Now, if he threatens her, I'm going to turn you
in to the Feds.
Speaker 6 (31:07):
You know.
Speaker 1 (31:07):
It's a mad Keep your culls going.
Speaker 5 (31:10):

Speaker 1 (32:02):
This was a one hit wonder for them, and they
celebrated so hard. They thought that since god, we have
a number one song, we must have money too, But
they didn't, and all their credit cards were declined at
their champagne lobster dinner. Oh my goodness, no way, wow,
thank you so much, Aliens, Thank you, Marcia So yes,

Coast one O three point five.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
This just in here at the l K Morning Show.
Experts have confirmed that a one week trip to La
can reduce levels about ninety five percent. That is huge.
So if you got some friends or family who are
thinking many to get away, tell them to come here.
Keep us on the radio or the only K Morning Show.
Thank you for all your talkbacks this morning. Big Drawing
(34:15):
coming up at nine forty five for the Goo Goo Dolls,
and before that, we're gonna send you to our iHeartRadio
Music Festival plus Ariana Grande Take us before you can
buy them. So all that is coming up, But we're
getting tons of calls this morning about a talkback we
received from a girl named Abby. Her husband drives for
Uber and she opened his mail. He got a letter
(34:36):
from corporate Uber and she was like, oh, what's this?
So she opened it and it's said that they're taking
disciplinary action on her husband. He hasn't mentioned it to her.
So your causband pouring in Ryan. You found out it's felony.
Speaker 3 (34:50):
Yeah, federal crime US Code seventeen oh two, imprisonable potentially fines.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
Do you even open your spouse's mail?
Speaker 1 (34:58):
It seems so insane, so hard.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
That is so hard, I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (35:03):
You'd probably have to have a really you'd have to
have a spouse say I'm pressing charges. Yes, you have
to say it right, right, but it's just a letter.
And you're married, you know, you're in a house, your partner,
whoever it is. It's fine.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
Rules is rules owen?
Speaker 10 (35:20):
Oh she.
Speaker 1 (35:22):
Jo? Just if you heard the talkback, what do you think.
Speaker 12 (35:26):
She should not have opened it at all? Ever, under
any circumstances.
Speaker 1 (35:30):
Okay, so my girlfriend.
Speaker 12 (35:32):
My girlfriend's a pilot with American Airlines, and if I
were to open a letter from American, she would kill me.
Speaker 1 (35:40):
Let's just say she opens it, doesn't say anything, and
you see it, and it's similar to what Abby saw.
Speaker 12 (35:49):
Well that if it's like I do some Uber, I
do Uber Eat, so I don't do passengers. But there's
always I mean, I'm sure with passengers there's always going
to be conflicts. I mean I've seen tons of ideos
where the passenger will cancel the ride or play games
or play tricks on you to get out.
Speaker 10 (36:06):
Of paying the tab.
Speaker 12 (36:08):
Yeah, the drivers were held to a pretty high accountability factor. Yeah,
I got my rating on Uber is ninety eight percent.
Good for you to go, But there are people that
won't order unless it's one hundred percent.
Speaker 1 (36:22):
Oh really, now that's how.
Speaker 12 (36:24):
Yeah, there's I've talked to people they said, well, no
I won't. I won't pick a driver if he's got
a rating lower than one hundred percent.
Speaker 1 (36:30):
Oh no way and plus thing.
Speaker 12 (36:33):
Yeah, that's that's how particular it is. It's like you've
got to be careful. You can't screw up when you're
doing when you're doing Uber, no.
Speaker 1 (36:40):
Room for error. That's sad because things are out of
your control.
Speaker 3 (36:43):
Like I said, Abby's husband needs two cameras, one in
the uber to protect himself against this and one in
the kitchen to see her opening his man.
Speaker 1 (36:50):
Come on, he didn't do anything wrong.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
Maybe he didn't either.
Speaker 1 (36:57):
I don't think you get a letter for nothing.
