Speaker 1 (01:05):
We just learned Justin Bieber's Coachella payday. It is ten
million dollars. You got to keep in mind Justin hasn't
performed anywhere for three years, and he negotiated the deal
without an agent, saving himself that ten percent fee. So
ten million dollars are right into a direct deposit. These
are the first live shows, like I said, in the
US in three years. Coachella has the twin weekends April

(01:27):
ten through twelveth April seventy through nineteenth next year. An
unnamed hype man for Justin told Rolling Stone Magazine quote,
Bieber is an unshakable artist. His twenty twenty six Coachella
performance won't just be a headlining set, but a once
in a generation spectacle from a once in a generation
pop icon. So Sabrina Carpenter also on that bill. She

(01:48):
manifested her headlining gig last year at Coachella, and then
she said she's a woman of her word. She's been
telling audiences anytime she can see you back here when
I headline, so Biaber, Carol G and Sabrina, your remains
all right. Apple TV has renewed the Morning Show and
it is out. It dropped today season four and in

(02:09):
season four, Jennifer Aniston is, you know, it's a morning show.
So it's a broadcast show and they're getting ready for
the Olympics on the morning show and Ai changes her
voice into one hundred different languages to promote the Olympics
all around the world, one hundred languages. They could do
that with our show too, Let's go global. And Robert

(02:32):
Redford may he rest in peace. He had to fight
off some of Hollywood's most famous women. Jane Fonda wanted
him bad, Barbrais dreysand wouldn't stop until she got him.
Meryl Streep admitted to having a huge crush and also said, wow,
if only I could have. He just said no to
all of them. He pushed Streysand to wear bikini for
their intimate scenes to make sure the shots were g rated,

(02:53):
and she said, I'll do them nude, oh my, and
he said, no, you're gonna wear the bikini. No nudity. Yeah,
this is a man who could have had anyone at
any time, and he was making them cover up and
go away respectful.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Hey, really quick, just to go back one second, We've
already got you. In Spanish, at.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Thank you wait till I bust out my Japanese. All right,
you guys, this just in. Cardi B is pregnant with
baby number four with Stefan Diggs, who is I believe
on my fantasy team this year. I know he was
last year too, Stefan Diggs. Cardi B baby number four.
All of her other three from before are with offset

(03:39):
her ex it's a lot of kiddo's, a lot of
to keep her away from Nick Cannon. She went from
uh yeah, she went from the courtroom to the bedroom
and now she's pregnant. Elton John revealed how he turned
his replaced knee caps into gold jewelry. So he had
his knee caps removed both at the same time he
had knee replacements, I should say. So he talked to
his doctor into taking the knees. He said, I want
to save him. I'm giving them to my jeweler, my

(04:01):
jewelers making them into gold plated jewelry. So this guy
took Elton's knee caps and bones. He made a necklace,
he made a bracelet, He baked the kneecaps to dry
them out, and then he made the bones like pumice stones,
so they were super light. Then it was transformed into
sparkling gold plated necklaces. He said. My surgeon said, I
had the worstneezies ever operated on, and I wanted to

(04:24):
turn something bad into something good. And he wears them
all the time. We think it's preposterous.

Speaker 7 (04:30):
It wasn't just as it wasn't just a share preposterous, preposterousness, preposterousness, preposterousness.

Speaker 8 (04:42):
Good.

Obviously, everyone that is a pet owner dog owner should
have their pets microchipped. This is not I guess a
replacement for that, but just a very simple in addition
to okay, air tag on their collar. Oh fondness. On
next door someone was talking about a lost dog and
someone said, I have I just always put an air
tag on the dog's collar. It's twenty five bucks at
Tark go get one today.

Speaker 9 (07:00):
That is nice.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
You'll never raise a dog if the dog gets out.
I know Kelly's blind. We've never talked about it. Yes,
has being blind? Do you fear that she may get away?

Speaker 1 (07:10):
No, she doesn't go outside of her familiar area because
now she has to feel her way, and she even
knows if she goes near a step out in the back.
She knows the pools on the other side. I got it,
so she stays away. She's still lunges at squirrels. She
can hear them before it before they can sense her wool.

(07:31):
And she knows like they say, don't move the furniture
if you have a blind dog, So she feels her way.
She's doing really well, and she's still pretty young. She's eleven.
I mean for an Austie, that's not bad. They love
to be fourteen to sixteen. But yeah, no, I don't
think she'd be the one to get out and then
our puggle No way, like we'd have to pay them
to leave.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Point five Top Stories Top of the Hour, Good morning,
I'm Ellen Kay and Tyler Robinson, the twenty two year
old Utah man accused of murdering Charlie Kirk, facing that
judge for the first time, showing zero emotion yesterday via
video and facing his seven formal charges, including aggravated murder.
He looked down briefly when prosecutors said they will seek
the death penalty, which could be by firing squad allowed

(08:23):
in a Utah, They say, Robinson confessed in person, and
he did it to his mom and dad.

Speaker 13 (08:29):
Robinson's parents were able to convince him to meet at
their home. As they discussed the situation, Robinson implied that
he was the shooter and stated that he couldn't go
to jail and just wanted to end it. When asked
why he did it, Robinson explained there was too much
evil and the guy, referring to Charlie Kirk, spreads too
much hate.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
Still, though no formal admission to authorities, Robinson do back
in court one week from this Friday. FBI Director Cash
Patel has confirmed it over twenty individuals who participated discord
group chat with the alleged shooter, Tyler Robinson, are under
deep investigation. Big shout out to two local Latto players
who just scratched their way to millionaire status. I got
to tell you those scratchers, they can surprise you. Robert DeMarco,

(09:13):
you know he just won a milli on a triple
red seven seven seven scratcher. It was purchased at Lucky
seven Liquor in Culver City and Lords Valdez. She's also
a millionaire hitting that fifty times cash scratcher, which she
bought from Albertson's an Orange. Congrats you too. The same
cannot be said for anyone who won cash for life
from Publishers clearing house. Remember that thing. Giant checks at

(09:35):
the door, big packets.

Speaker 6 (09:37):
In the mail.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
They've officially filed for bankruptcy and can no longer afford
to pay the people they promised to pay. It's actually
a huge problem because a lot of those folks stop
working and have relied on their monthly winnings. They're now
older and have been out of the workforce for decades
with no idea how they will make up for this
lost income. A sad story, all right, Science confirms you
do need your beauty sleep. Beauty sleep is real. Good

(09:58):
sleep helps your skin healthy, stay healthy, and youthful because
during deep sleep, your body makes collagen to keep your
skin firm and boosts your cell repair and that's what
makes you glow, and it lowers your stress hormones that
can cause inflammation and breakouts. Not getting enough sleep can
make your skin look dull, dry and wrinkled. Simply put,
getting quality rest supports your skin's natural repair and keeps

(10:18):
it looking his best and also just revs up your body.
Adults seven to nine hours a night. I know it
sounds impossible, and also for kids nine to twelve. It's
a big investment, but it's worth it. You're investing in
yourself with your sleep, and it's hot and human again today,
Muggy swampy highs in the mid nineties, Van niney go
to ninety Valencia ninety five, seventy Burbank and we are

(10:41):
presented by Celsia's energy during its kost Los Angeles, Coast

Carey in Vegas. It's your Ellen K Q and A.
We're going to send you for the whole weekend. And
Franco needs your help. He wrote a letter to Ellen.
We're going to share that with you, coming up all
about his ex's dad.

Speaker 6 (11:01):
Keep it here.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
We're gonna need you.

Speaker 6 (11:05):
With the Ellen K Morning Show.

Speaker 11 (11:06):
Today was my day and today is going to be
your day too.

Speaker 8 (11:10):

Speaker 14 (11:15):
Appreciate you your time and your energy.

Speaker 9 (11:17):
Everything.

Speaker 6 (11:17):
Coast one oh three point five.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
We're the l K Morning Show. Thanks for having us on.
We love your letters to Ellen.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Right to Ellen for advice because she's seen a thing
or two.

Speaker 8 (11:27):
She is Ellen.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
You can write us a letter. Go to Coast one
of three five dot com. Tap that envelope. Franco did.
Dear Ellen. For seven years I was with Marta. We
built a whole life together, and then when it mutually ended,
I thought it was closing that chapter for good. But
her dad never left my life. MARTA's dad is the
one who brought me into commercial real estate, and we

(11:54):
still consult together through our side hustle. It's called tom Co.
We combined our names. His is Thomas and minus Franco.
I like that tom COO. I never knew my dad,
and Thomas is a mentor and friend to me. He
stepped in and became my dad the whole seven years
I was with Marta. Here's the problem. My new girlfriend
has no idea. We've been together almost a year and

(12:17):
she doesn't know that. Every so often I'm sitting across
from my ex's dad eating prime rib and garlic mashed potatoes.
I don't want to lose the relationship I've built with Thomas,
and we do pretty well together with our side job.
Is this one of those what she doesn't know won't
hurt her situations? And then I love this, he says,
signed Franco. All right, so Franco. After seven years, it

(12:41):
was a mutual breakup, So it doesn't sound like anyone's
sad here. They both went their separate ways. But Marta
is the ex and her dad, Thomas is part of
Tomco Thomas and Franco. So you're one year in, you've
got a new girlfriend, and you're still secretly seen your
ex's dad, not really secretly. I don't think, but you're not.

(13:06):
You're withholding information? Is withholding information?

Speaker 9 (13:09):
Lning?

Speaker 1 (13:11):
Is this something? Is this one of those what she
doesn't know won't hurt her situations Like I get try
and put myself into Franco's position. We've been together almost
a year and she doesn't know that every solt and
I'm sitting across from my ex's dad eating prime rib
and garlishmith. It's not like the it's not like he's
over at their house, no, or that it's the mom
and the dad.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
Here's the problem. It's been too long now for him
to like he should have said this straight out the gate.
This is my only issue with it. You have to
be on you have to tell her. But now it's like,
ooh if you made a.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
Mess, what if he didn't know what direction this new
relationship would go? And like why tell her right away
if you might not even be dating her into three dates? Yeah,
now she's gonna think, like, what else else?

Speaker 2 (13:53):
You exactly?

Speaker 8 (13:54):
Dar?

Speaker 3 (13:55):
Yes, No, he doesn't have to tell her she's a
new girlfriend. So wait till this develops a little bit
more and then fess up or you know.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
You dragging it out kick the cane.

Speaker 3 (14:05):
Yeah, she's a new girlfriend.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
See you're h Here's the thing, like, if you projected
out in five years, will this matter? In five years?
Will I still be with her? Mm hmm in five years,
will tom Co just be killing it in commercial?

Speaker 12 (14:22):
It might?

Speaker 8 (14:23):
It might.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
Look at the end of the day, this guy is
his business partner. You just have to say. Look, listen,
I gotta tell you about tom COO. Okay, so I
met him through my ex.

Speaker 14 (14:34):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Just say it. You don't say it's her dad.

Speaker 6 (14:38):
Yeah, of course I met it through her head.

Speaker 15 (14:40):
Oh yeah, yeah, my ex is dad. Okay, it's my
ex's dad. Stay release, We're tight. We were just at
Mastros last night. It's eight hundred nine kost.

Speaker 6 (14:51):

So just be the first caller with the right answer
to our question. It's here Ellen, KQ and A. And
when it comes to proposing, never do this, all right,

(15:41):
when it comes to proposing, never do this, Travis Kelcey,
one of the most famous proposals in recent history, did
it in his backyard. He talked about how nervous he was.

Speaker 11 (15:53):
The poems were definitely sweating.

Speaker 9 (15:55):
Really, I was definitely.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
I'm an emotional guy, so there were a few tears
here and there.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
But it's been an exciting, exciting ride up to this
day and I can't wait to spend the rest of
my life with her.

Speaker 12 (16:04):
Ah.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
So when it comes to proposing, never do this, do
you think it is? It's eight hundred and nine two
nine kost. We'll get your guesses and we'll get them.

Speaker 6 (16:14):
Next to post one of three point five. The Allen
dream Ardy Show stream us on the iHeartRadio app. It's
the Llen k Q and a on Post one O
three point five.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
Hither Valerie long Beach doing laundry right now, she separates
her clothing from her husband's clothing. I do I don't know, well,
because maybe your things are more delicate and you need
the delicate cycle.

Speaker 14 (16:40):
Yeah, okay, okay, we'll stick with that one.

Speaker 13 (16:47):
All right.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
Well, Valerie, we want to know what you think when
it comes to proposing, never do this? And what do
you think it is?

Speaker 9 (16:55):
Put the ring in food?

Speaker 1 (16:56):
Oh, that could go wrong so many ways, the ring
in food.

Speaker 6 (17:04):
Oh, it's a great guess.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
It's not the right answer.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
Okay, I'll try back.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
Okay, you stick that thing mashed potatoes or a cake.
All right, Virginia Alkaaloma. You are going to work right
now and Chino at min Kim DVS Dental Practice. All right, yay, Well, Virginia,
what is your guess when it comes to proposing, just

(17:30):
never do this?

Speaker 14 (17:31):
Like be like in a dangerous area, like where you
could drop the ring, like on a mountaintop, the sea,
like the ocean on walk and.

Speaker 6 (17:37):
The ring fall a boardwalk?

Speaker 13 (17:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (17:41):
How many rings have we seen slip through the dock? Yes, okay, Virginia,
it's a great guess. When it comes to proposing, Virginia says,
never do it like near water or a mountain or
somewhere dangerous where it could fall. It's such a good guess.
It is not the right answer.

Speaker 10 (17:57):
Oh during it okay, well, thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
Oh, thank you for calling, thanks for playing going out
of no ho ho get it. Mariah's Christmas time and
Violet is on the line. School drop off. Hi guys, Hi, Hi, okay,
we are looking for the right answer when it comes
to proposing.

Speaker 11 (18:17):
Never do what, don't propose in public venue, sports event,
Dodger game, concert, all.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
Of the above, all of the above. Never do it
at a public event. You, Violet and kids are right.

Speaker 9 (18:36):
One.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
It's a whole weekend in Vegas. Mariah carries Christmas time
in Vegas. You're going to stay there two nights to
get a gas card for the road. Two tickets to
the show. We can't wait to send you.

Speaker 11 (18:49):
Thank you, guys, so excited.

Speaker 6 (18:52):
We are two way to go.

Speaker 1 (18:53):
So when it comes to proposing, experts say, never do
it at a sporting event or on a JumboTron or
something like that, because things could go wrong and you're
not guaranteed a yes. I mean, if you're proposing, you're
probably expecting one. But it's just that they say keep
it a little more dignified in private. I guess.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
Plus, I mean, would you feel as special if as
a woman.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
In front of all those people? It depends. Like if
you're a couple and let's just say the Lakers are
your thing, yes, right, and you fell in love at
a Laker gamer, then I think it's so great. But yeah,
but if he's the Laker fan and you're not, or
you know, whatever.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
One side, it almost feels performative.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
Oh yeah, it does. My husband got down on one
knee in the dirt. That's right in a mountain overlooking
It was like up we went up Wonderland Drive and
Laurel Canyon and they're building a house there. But you
could see all the sparkling city lights and they all
look like diamonds. And then he gave me a diamond.
It was so romantic. I loved it. And Darlene, I
know that Alex surprised you with your family of Disneyland

(19:59):
at the Yeah, see that's a cool spot. Mike, where
did you do it?

Speaker 3 (20:03):
I didn't Hawaii on the beach on the beach.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
Did you almost drop the ring in the sand and
lose it forever.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
No, but I was nervous, so I kept touching my pocket.
I thought you would see me, and it was. It
was a whole mess, but I pulled it off.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
Ryan, you had a super creative past the box with
all these rhymes and all this stuff. But you did
it on Christmas.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
The fan was involved, that's probably, and it.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
Comes to proposing never do it at a sporton event
or a big public venue. So Llen KQ and A
all of our answers are scientifically proven and posted for you.

Speaker 8 (20:36):
Here.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
She is a Queen of Christmas and Coast one O
three point five.

Speaker 6 (20:41):
I see Lank Morning Show.

Speaker 10 (20:42):
I'm so being grateful for you guys. You guys make
everybody's life a little better every single day.

Speaker 6 (20:48):
Coast one oh three point.

Speaker 1 (20:49):
Five Top Stories Top of the Hour. Good morning, I'm
Ellen k and Hey remember last January when a guy
was arrested for crashing his drone into a super Scooper
Air one battling the Palisades Fire. Peter Ackman is his name.
He lives in Culver City. He just entered a guilty
plea and was sentenced to two weeks in federal prison,
followed by thirty days of house arrest. He's also been

(21:12):
ordered to pay a one hundred and fifty six thousand
dollars in fines after taking the water dropping craft out
of operation for repairs. Peter says he only flew the
drone because he was curious to see the damage, but
it admits it was a stupid and reckless thing to do.
At the time, the FAA had restricted all aircraft from
flying above or near those fire zones, and a cheating
scandal has hit the World Stone Skimming Championships in Scotland.

(21:36):
Several competitors were disqualified from Scotland's World Stone Skimming Championship.
It's such a fun thing to do and the annual
competition requires participants to use naturally occurring slate from that location. However,
the event tossmaster named Kyle, received calls from word competitors
and then he found some rule breakers. There are people

(21:56):
who had their own machine shaped and smooth rocks with
artificial not just designed to improve throwing. Organizers are considering
acquiring future participants to select from official stone collections rather
than bringing their own stone. So now seven contestants are
out of the run and hot and humid again today,

(22:16):
Muggy really even swampy. But first let's take you to
Show Hey, it was a big show for the Dodger
fans at the Ravine despite falling to the Phillies. He
was brillian on the mound and at the flate.

Speaker 12 (22:26):
Before I built a deep right field five no hindings
on the mound, ho a skyscraping home run. There's nobody
like him, never has been doubt for the rever will be.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
That was show Hayes's fiftieth bomb, making him the first
player to record back to back fifty home run seasons
since Arod did it way back in two thousand and two. Dodgers,
who still lead the NL West by two games, try
to avoid that sweep tonight, and it will be a sticky,
hot day leading up to it. In fact, so muggy
and swampy that we are expecting rain later on tonight, okay,

(23:01):
and also that's going to stay for the next few days.
Studio City up to ninety Silmar. You see ninety four
year high seventy in Burbank and we are presented by
Celsia's Energy Drinks Kost Los Angeles, It's Coast one o
three point five and are you ready? Forty four days
until Halloween, but you can experience Disneyland Resorts Halloween time.
We got your four paths.

Speaker 6 (23:20):
It's the Ellen K Morning Show. Hey Chos, I love you,
you great and you're always be my favorite station the
time I was born. I love you Coast one o
three point five and we are the l K Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
Thank you for being here with us. We got a
letter to Ellen from Franco.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
Right to Ellen for advice because she's seen a thing
or two.

Speaker 1 (23:38):
She is Ellen, Franco writes to us, Dear Ellen, for
seven years, I was with Marta. We built a whole
life together, and when it mutually ended, I thought that
I was closing that door for good. But her dad,
my ex father in law, is still in my life.

(23:59):
Never left. MARTA's dad is the one who brought me
into commercial real estate, and we still consult together through
our side hustle tom Co. We combine our names Thomas
and Franco. I never knew my own dad, and Thomas
is a mentor and friend to me and a dad
to me. Here's the problem. My new girlfriend has no
idea we've been together almost a year and she doesn't

(24:20):
know that. Every so often, I'm sitting across from my
ex's dad eating primeri and garlic mashed potatoes. I mean,
it sounds like a really nice relationship. I don't want
to lose the relationship I've built with Thomas, and we
do pretty well with our side job. Is this one
of those what my new girlfriend doesn't know won't hurt

(24:41):
her situations? Sign Franco, so so many calls about this.
Maybe you've been in the situation before. Maybe you did
have a breakup and you didn't sever ties and there's
still some connections going on that you are keeping to yourself.
It happens all the time where maybe you broke up
and your Facebook friend and you did an unfriend, yeah,

(25:03):
and you're still chatting maybe or maybe when you know,
say you break up and you see that your ex
has an accomplishment that you reach out to her and say,
oh my god, wait to go. I'm so proud of you.
I always knew you could do this. Like those kinds
of things are those of betrayal. And also is withholding information.

Speaker 2 (25:21):
Lying depends on what the information is. Maybe I don't
know or how long. Look, here's the thing. I'm worried
it's too long for Franco now to come out and
say I have something to tell you. He should have
said this right away.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
It's not too long.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
It's only a year.

Speaker 3 (25:35):
That's still a new girlfriend. It took me fourteen years
to propose.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
Hey, at six months, my husband and I told each
other we love each other.

Speaker 2 (25:42):
Yeah, you're right, you gotta say this stuff. The whiplash
that's going to hit her when she finds this out
right now, it's going to rock her world.

Speaker 6 (25:49):
I think by one year, you have a good idea
of how a person is.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
Yeah, and then for him to bring this up is
going to be it would hurt my feelings. The boat, Yes,
it's gonna tip the boat over. You know that song,
Rap the boat, don't rock the boat, don't tip the
boat over. That's going to of san demas finster. What
are you saying?

Speaker 9 (26:11):
Man and bonds are man bonds and just because man,
you're good as friends and you can't regulate that no
matter what.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
So that goes for this new girlfriend. Then she can
be with friends with whatever girls she wants to be,
even if it's her ex's mom. Yes, okay, so it
does work. Both ways, it does, and she doesn't have
to say a word.

Speaker 9 (26:38):
Well, she's gonna say a woman because women are gonna women,
women are gonna women.

Speaker 6 (26:44):
Okay, all right, all right, Finster, we got to go
on that note.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
We got a whole screen of calls. Thank you, Finster. Okay, Rosemary, Hi, I.

Speaker 14 (26:57):
Think that he should be honest and let her know
because the dad's been a mentor for him for so long,
and just because it's his ex doesn't mean that he's
going to get back with her or anything. But dad
has nothing to do with, you know, his daughter as
far as dating and stuff.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
Thanks Rosemary to oppositional viewpoints right there. No one's agreeing. Everyone,
even in our studio, we disagree. I know, I don't know.
It's just it's dicey, it's touchy, or maybe it's not.
I don't know. I don't know. I just feel like
I do feel like if you withhold information. Let's say
that they are in love. He's in love with the
new one, it's been a year, and they see a

(27:39):
future together, then he's going to be in some hot
water for sure. But also she might be super chill
and she might just say, look what if she just says,
I know, like I background checked you, and I know
I know what you do. Also I track you. I
know you were at Mastros with I've been.

Speaker 6 (28:01):
Waiting for you to tell me this. If your call's coming,
La wakes up with the Ellen k Morning Show.

Match down at the Bonaventure Hotel downtown LA. There's a
dog named Westy. Westy was actually left at the hotel.
He was abandoned and left in a closet. So the

was hydrated and dirty, so they cleaned him up. And

(30:33):
now I'm proud to say that dog Westy, five years later,
is living his best life. He has his own suite
at the Bonaventure Hotel. He's a French bulldog. He has
jewelry and cars. He gets to watch paw patrol, and
he gets to order off the menu. He has his

Speaker 1 (31:09):
Coast one oh three point five Top Stories, Top of
the Hour, Good morning, I'm ellen K. And the parents
of baby Emmanuel Harrow still missing by the way, appeared
in court for what's called a felony settlement conference. Basically,
their attorneys are trying to resolve the case through a
possible plea agreement. And here's a good news story for you.
I love this. Despite texting more as we do, fifty

(31:31):
five percent say phone conversations are more meaningful. So a
survey of two thousand adults revealed that over half of
us consider phone calls the most meaningful connection method, even
though we text a lot. More Adults spend equal time
on calls and voice notes twenty five minutes every day. However,
most of us find that we feel better when we
hang up with a human voice. And she sold her

(31:53):
soul for la booblus. Literally, a twenty six year old
Russian woman sold her soul, signing a contract in her
own blood, for one hundred thousand dollars rubles that's about
one thousand dollars US. And so she bought a collection
of La Boo Boo dolls and a concert ticket with that.
The offer was a social experiment by a marketing expert.
He didn't expect anyone to take him seriously, but this

(32:14):
woman did. Dimitri says he has no idea what to
do with this newly purchased soul. He's got the contract
right there. That is so strange. And we do have
a warm, sticky day today, ninety nine days until Christmas.
But today muggy even swampy High's in the mid nineties
and right now it is seventy five and burbank. We
are presented by Celsia's Energy Drinks. KOs to Los Angeles

(32:37):
is coast one on three point five, presented by Celsius
Energy Drinks.

Speaker 6 (32:41):
It's the LNK Morning Show, so I love it.

Speaker 11 (32:44):
Everybody out here turns you on every day.

Speaker 6 (32:47):
Post one oh three point five.

Speaker 1 (32:48):
All right, your coast countdown with the only K Morning Show.
Two days until our iHeartRadio Festival in Vegas, five days
until the first day and fall forty four days he
got to Halloween and tinety nine days until Christmas. Exciting
and we're excited that you're here. Thank you so much
for all your calls about Franco's letter to Ellen, and

(33:09):
you can write us a letter about anything, anything you want.
Last week we had a letter from a dad bragging
about his fifteen year old daughter who beat cancer and
now she's made her life's work to go help other
cancer patients who are teens and kids, and so heartwarming
as any of your letters today. Franco wrote to us
and he and his ex they broke up after seven years,

(33:32):
but it was mutual and it was friendly, but Franco
stayed close with her dad and they have a company
together called tom COO. They combined their names Thomas and Franco.
It'd be like having l Ry Yeah or Ryan Ryan
much anyway. So tom Co is a commercial real estate

(33:56):
business that Franco and his ex father in law formed
again and they're still friends, having steaks, getting together for dinner.
But he hasn't told his new girlfriend of a year,
so is withholding information lying? Maria, you say, don't tell.
It's no big deal.

Speaker 11 (34:13):
I don't think it matters because you know what, he's
known Thomas for a long time. I mean, yeah, that's
his ex father in law. But that shouldn't affect her
in any way. And that's just that their business partners
that that have that comka together, you know, I mean,
what's it going to affect her in?

Speaker 10 (34:27):
This was before her, Maria.

Speaker 1 (34:29):
Let's be Franco. He's out with his new girlfriend and
she said, I can't see you tomorrow. I'm going out
with the girls. And imagine that one of the girls
was her ex's mom.

Speaker 11 (34:41):
You know, this was a life prior to her. And
he's not doing anything wrong. He's just meeting with the
ex father in law. I mean he's not dating.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
No no, no, no no, I mean I disagree with you,
because no, he's not telling her something. And once she
finds out about this, eventually she's going to feel like,
what else haven't you told me?

Speaker 11 (34:59):
Okay, he can tell her now, like he can tell her, Hey,
I was waiting to see how long we're going to
go with this relationship. But Thomas is my ex father
in law. We do have you know, do business together,
and that's about it. He can just wait and tell
her and say, hey, I just wanted to see where
this is going.

Speaker 1 (35:15):
Thank you, Maria.

Speaker 10 (35:16):
Thanks time, You're welcome.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
Thank you.

Speaker 11 (35:19):
You guys come up to morning.

Speaker 1 (35:21):
Has agreed with the other. You have a great you
have a great morney to Maria. I'm so sorry, Frank,
Over're trying to help you.

Speaker 6 (35:29):
It's the L and K Morning Show.

Speaker 10 (35:31):
I'm so young grateful for you guys. You guys make
everybody's life a little better every single day.

Speaker 6 (35:37):
Coast one O three point five, all right, does he
really like you?

Speaker 1 (35:40):
This test never fails. Ask anyone what they most appreciate
in a dating or marriage partner, and most will say
a sense of humor. At Cambridge University said he found
that based on the animal Kingdom, where males like to
show off and get attention from females, and the one
who does show off the most and get her attention

(36:02):
is the one who will get the mate right and
then the babies. Well, they translated all of that into
modern men and so Fortid, you're a peacock, Ryan, Yeah,
and you really like this other peacock and you're showing
your feathers and you're strutting around. If you can make
that peacock laugh, that is a sign that you really

(36:23):
like that peacock. Okay, yeah, So the study found that
if you want to know whether a guy really likes
you or not, the one test never fails. Does he
try to make you laugh? See in the Animal Kingdom,
he used to just be attention with colors and feathers,
but now it's does he try to make you laugh?

Speaker 2 (36:41):
Okay, so it's not the peacocking, it's the laughter.

Speaker 1 (36:44):
The peacocking has evolved into the laughter. Okay, ye yeah, yeah,
all right, so it makes you laugh? Is into you?
Lesson learned?

Speaker 6 (36:52):
Hello Loving the ellen k Morning.

Speaker 11 (36:54):
Show for your number one band we Love You, We
Love You.

Speaker 6 (36:57):
Make us a precept on your iHeartRadio app. We love
you to thank you so much, host one oh three
point five.

Speaker 1 (37:03):
I want to save bank. Congratulations to John Wayne Airport
named best for the second year in a row. Don't
go to fly out of there very often. I do
like it though, if you do, Yeah, it's really good.
Ontario International is a jewel of our southland. You know
our friend Evelyn, Yes, her daughter works there. Oh, no way,

(37:25):
all right, So Evelyn's daughter works at the Ontario Airport.
So when you go there, say what up my sister
Janet and my brother in law? Or is you fly
there a lot?

Speaker 9 (37:35):
All right?

Speaker 1 (37:35):
But yeah, John Wayne getting best airport again, second year
in a row. We're the only ky morning shows. So
Franco wrote us a letter. We read your letters every
Monday and Wednesday. And Franco has maintained a relationship with
his ex father in law. They have business together, they're tight,
and he has not told his new girlfriend of a
year that he is having steaks and garlic mashed potatoes

(37:55):
with this guy regularly, or that they have this company together.
And he asked us, is this one of those what
she doesn't know won't hurt her situations. So if you're
knew the girlfriend and you're a year in and you
don't know that your boyfriend is regularly with his ex
father in law probably talking about his ex as well,

(38:17):
and you find out, how do you feel? So many
calls today and Linda, thank you so much. You've got
the summary of the play.

Speaker 8 (38:24):
So what I'm thinking is he made the biggest mistake
by not telling her from the beginning. Yes, as I
was the girlfriend, I'm now going to think once he
tells me that he hit it for me because he
still has feelings for his pack.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
Okay, thank you, Linda. That seems to be the majority
coming consensus. I guess. So he's kind of the creek,
but I'm.

Speaker 6 (38:49):
Happy it's the lank morning show.

Speaker 2 (38:52):
Some very close friends of ours are also number one.

Speaker 7 (38:54):
Ellen k and Coast one of three point five continue
their dominance on LA radio wave. According to the LA
Nielsen ratings, Coast has been at the top of the

our friends at Coast We love you guys, and congratulations

of it.

Speaker 2 (39:36):
I'm right man. Oh by the way, and I'm social
Queen Darling.

Speaker 1 (39:38):
And that producer Mike Cromos, and we had every show
with a quote and a kiss. The Chiefs are zero
and two. And Patrick Mahomes has never been He's actually
owen three if you count the Super Bowl. So it's
his birthday today. He's celebrating, and happy birthday to you
if you're celebrating as well. But Travis Kelcey just said
this on his podcast New High. It's about wedding planning.

(40:01):
That one's going to be easy. I just got to
figure out when a football came first. I'm lad they're laughing.
I don't think Patrick Mahomes is laughing. Travis had that
ball in his hands this last game, and it wasn't
just like an interception or fumble he handed the guy
the ball, it just simplessly went from his hands right

(40:23):
into the other guy's. I've never seen that before, that close.
But he's going to figure it out, that's what he says,
And his buddy Patrick Mahomes says, you just go out
there and play every play like it could be your last.
It's the only way you can leave it all in
the field went three.

Speaker 6 (40:55):
I didn't.

Speaker 1 (41:00):
And I never should.

Speaker 6 (41:00):
A Letcher girl, I didn't know nothing.

Speaker 2 (41:03):
I was so bad.

Speaker 6 (41:04):
I was polisher, I was
