Speaker 1 (00:00):
And good morning to yet It's coast won at three
point five. Happen Wednesday, National Hot Sauce Day. We all
have our favorite hot sauce, my favorite hot sauce. Well,
her name's Darlene Marigo.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
I'm Ellen, Kay, I'm Ryan and social queen Darlene and
not producer Mike Promos.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Ah boy, all right, we've got your cash coming up, guys.
Also through Wet Nose Wednesday. And there are a lot
of furry babies who need homes, so even to be
fostered until they can be reunited with some of the
fire families. So let's all do it. We're gonna adopt
and we're gonna spotlight for you today. No fie adoptions

(00:42):
for LA Animal Services pet adoptions, so we'll be spotlighting
furry babies for you.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
It's pretty cool to see some of these animals that
they've found, you know, that were unfortunately left behind. I
mean they found like the tortoises you talked about yesterday,
the trio of tortoises.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
And then I was seeing a story about.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
All these pigs and their little in their area.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
They made it, they survived, but you.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Know that's amazing. The goats that survived. Yeah, those tortoises
have like a little burrow area. Yea, And so I
think it was Rocky and Rocky of Alta Dina who
went to the Pasadena shelter one hundred pounds and Rocky
got on in there and burrowed in smart and the

(01:24):
Huckleberry's two hundred pounds.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
And wasn't there Twinkle toest to tiptoe, you got it.
But I know it was something involving toast.

Speaker 5 (01:30):
I was hearing that.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Even coyfish that were in their ponds, Yeah, they survived.
And a couple of bobcats have been.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
I saw a mommy mountain lion and two babies running
from the fire. So yeah, so wet nos Wednesday, we
will celebrate, all right. We're also going to go inside.
In entertainment coming up, Jason Baldoni and Blake Lively got
things heating up, huge lawsuits and also two movies you
must see. Oscar nominations are tomorrow morning, so we'll have

(02:01):
them by this time tomorrow. Come out of five point
thirty and two movies you need to see. One of them.
Just swept all the awards, the Lumier Awards in France.
They're like the Golden Globes of France and that one's
going to get tons of nominations. And then Jamie Lee
Curtis in the Last Show Girl and she left me

(02:22):
a DM last night.

Speaker 6 (02:23):
Oh j.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
J.

Speaker 5 (02:30):
I see Allen k Morning Show.

Speaker 7 (02:32):
You guys are great to listen to, Great energy.

Speaker 8 (02:35):
Host one O three point five, Host one of three
point five Inside Entertainment with Ellen k Well the.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Drama behind the movie It ends with us just won't stop. Yesterday,
Justin Baldoni released to TMC a ten minute video which
he claims is proof that he did not sexually harass
his co star Blake Lively. Her attorney responded to People
magazine alleging that this raw footage of Justin and Blake
slow dancing in a movie confirms her lawsuit allegations. Anyway,

(03:04):
this movie cost twenty five million to make, it made
three hundred and fifty million dollars, and this is just
a huge back and forth. Valdoni filed the four hundred
million dollar lawsuit against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds for
defamation and extortion. There's a separate defamation lawsuit against The
New York Times for two hundred and fifty million dollars,
and Blake took the legal route first, accusing Valdoni of

(03:25):
inappropriate behavior on the set that includes talking about his
porn addiction and sexual harassment. She even said it during
kissing scene it was unscripted that he bite her bottom lip.
So this is not going away anytime soon, Nora. Is
this justin? Bieber's wife Haley, issued a defiant statement over
their marriage split rumors. I loved what you said yesterday.

(03:47):
Ryan went justin unfollowed Haley, then followed her.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Back, right, and then so then he put up on
an Instagram story and said I was hacked and someone
unfollowed my wife.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
It's getting sauce.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Out here, and I can't help but think if I
were granted access to that account with two hundred ninety
four million followers, my one action wouldn't be to unfollow
my wife or his wife.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
Right, who did that?

Speaker 9 (04:10):
Well?

Speaker 1 (04:10):
On top of that, he previously unfollowed his father in law,
Stephen Baldwin. Oh okay, and then recently shared pictures of
a bong. Yeah, so this is what we think is happening,
at least according to the Daily Mail out of the UK,
because they did a lit deep digging on this, but.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
Why, I know what happened? They had a fight and
he unfollowed her.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Well, or is it this? He has an album coming
up and she's used to him doing all kinds of
antics like this, monkeying around to get more attention for
his album. Okay, so we'll see. She posted a series
of recent photos, including one of Justin's sitting across from
her in a restaurant and resting his head. All right,

(04:48):
so they say everything's okay. It's a stunt to get
our attention, all right, And it did. And on TV tonight,
this is always a crowd pleaser. Expedition Bigfoot is on Discovery.
It's the season premiere. Also wags to riches, wives and girlfriends,
you know, sports stars, So how you go from a
wag to riches? That'll be a fun one. And Ryan

(05:08):
Gosling is in negotiations to start it untitled Star Wars
movie to be directed by Sean Levy. Also what about this?
John Ritter is in one of my favorite new TV shows,
Mattlock with Kathy Bates. It's had one season and now
the second season's coming out next Thursday, January thirtieth. My
mother in law, Joyce called me early on on this show,

(05:29):
and she said, I found my new favorite show. It's Mattlock.
It is so good at CBS, and so of course
I became addicted to it as well. One of my
favorite parts about it is Kathy Bates and John Ritter
and their chemistry. Jason, I mean Jason, I'm sorry, it's
John Ridders. So that was a horrible mistake. Yeah, Jason Ritter.

(05:50):
But they have great chemistry, and Jason is a Coast listener.
We got this message. It went viral on TikTok. He
says we can talk to him, but not until first
cup of coffee.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
After I've had my coffee.

Speaker 6 (06:04):
We can talk after.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
If I even hear your voice coming towards me before
that might worry about it.

Speaker 6 (06:14):
I need it.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
I coffee, Jason Rayder and from coffee to cat cast On,

Speaker 7 (07:03):

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Who are you? Where are you going? What's your name?

Speaker 11 (07:08):
My name is Lala, and I'm going to work.

Speaker 7 (07:10):
All right?

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Where do you work? You want to say? No, I can't,
Oh you can't. Okay, Well, the Razzies came out this morning.
You know, they give those the day before the Oscars.
Oscar nominations are tomorrow. And I don't know if you
saw a Joker Foley, I do, but it was really
bad and so it got a Razzie nomination. So we're

(07:32):
thinking that one probably's gonna get it. And then Jamie
Lee Curtis, I think is going to win an Oscar
for her role in the last show Girl.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
You do Yeah?

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Okay, yeah, I told her that, and then I got
an answer, would you say so? Jamie Lee Curtis. I said, Hey,
saw show Girl with my husband. We loved it. You're
amazing in it. And she said, Hi, friend, thank you
for the message. It's a beautiful little confection. The theater laughed
out loud. When she comes on the screen, it's she's
so oh okay, she said, happy to have been a

(08:02):
small part of it. I'm leaving for Nashville. I'm trying
to live in the gratitude of still having our home.
So many stories of complete devastation, she said, as always. Oh,
she said, you're my beacon and I love our friendship day.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
That's really sweet.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
That's really sweet. Yeah, so I said, my heart's with
you and your family.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
I think she's gonna win and ask her Jamie Lee
Curtis heard, Yeah, she really does. And I think that.
You know, you got to see Amelia Perez with Selena Gomez.
It is so good and Zoe Saldana is really the star.
It's amazing.

Speaker 9 (08:41):
Well, I'm looking forward to seeing it all.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
There you go, Lala, You're our beacon.

Speaker 11 (08:46):
Thank you.

Speaker 8 (08:47):

Speaker 5 (09:02):
Cost one three point five.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
Okay, I'm ready for my roasting.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
Get it roast.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
We're talking chicken today for your happiness hack. This one,
as I mentioned, comes from a birthday boy, the innovator
of Donkey Sauce, and the mayor of Flavor Toown. I'm
talking about Guy Fietti, and I want to take us
back to the time. The last time Guy was on,
we were getting I just a little inside here, We're
getting the wrap from the person who was his PR person,

(09:30):
and Ellen was just squirming in her chair. I could
tell she's got one more question. And they're like, you guys,
we gotta go. And Ellen's like, one more question, just
one more question. And you told guy Guy, I never
make chicken that isn't dry.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
Yeah, I make dry chicken.

Speaker 3 (09:46):
And so it was so important that Ellen pushed the
interview to ask Guy Fietti, what am I doing wrong?

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Exactly? I need to know how to make my chicken
and not dry it out every single time. And then
we sit down to eat it and I apologize to
my son and my husband. I say, I know it's
gonna be a little dry, but that's my that's my life.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
I like your chicken, for the record, I think it's nice.
But you did consult the Master, the birthday boy, and
he's gonna throw a little bit here at us. But
if you can remember this, we're gonna post it up
just so all of your chicken is juicy and moist.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
Guy, take it away.

Speaker 9 (10:20):
Simply simply brine your chicken up. Brining your chicken is
probably one of the easiest and best things you can
ever do. You know, if you took if you took
four chicken breasts and you used, you know, three tablespoons
of salt, three tablespoons of sugar, a clove of garlic,
a tablespoon of you know, teaspoon of peppercorns, and a
bay leaf and half a lemon, and you sat there

(10:41):
and and simmered that for about twenty minutes, and you
made that nice, simple little brine and then cooled it
down and then soak those chickens, you know, brind those
chicken breasts in there for a half an hour to
an hour. That will build so much flavor inside of
that quick sear in the pan to give nice color
to both. I'm doing it, you rub and at three

(11:02):
hundred and fifty degree, and I'm going to tell you
something that'll change your whole chicken game.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
Oh chime, I love the way he goes. You gotta
br you gotta see.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
All right, Well, the recipe up up up on our socials. Yeah,
there you go at Coast one of three five FM
on Instagram. We're gonna put it.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
Up there and we have cured your dry chicken.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Oi. I mean, we'll see.

Speaker 8 (11:25):
There's more feel good next on the L and K

All right. We got producer Micromos here as well. You're
Ellen right, dark darn maca No, she can.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
Be dark sometimes, Yeah, darkly, yeah, darkly.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
I feelings overwhelmed, confused, and hurt by my current living
situation with my parents. I'm twenty six years old, and
I recently moved back in with them after being laid
off for my tech job. Well, I'm incredibly grateful for
their support during this rough patch. It's been complicated. My
parents have made it very clear that their house comes
with strict rules. After a few weekend nights out and

(14:59):
a couple of late night visitors, they laid down the
law midnight curfew. Absolutely no boys allowed in the house.
Their reasoning is that they have to be up early
for work and don't want to be disrupted by late
night noise or random guys in their home. While I
understand that their rules are starting to feel suffocating, I'm

(15:19):
an adult. I'm twenty six, and I'm paying them some
rent and buying groceries plus doing the laundry, so I
should have some rights, right. The worst part is when
they went out of town for three days, they made
me stay with a friend because they didn't want me
alone in the house. Yikes. I know they love me,
but they make me feel like I can't be trusted.

(15:40):
The way they've gone about it is making an already
tough time in my life even harder. Am I right?
I told them I wrote to you. I'll do whatever
you guys say. Please read my letter. I feel lost. Danielle, Oh, Danielle.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
What's Danielle's last name? Because if it's if it's a
Hispanic last name like mine, I can understand.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
I came from a strict family, and it doesn't sound
unreasonable to me. It sounds like what would happen in
my family.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
Yeah, it's like my house and my rules. And also,
why are you bringing home random guys? You know? Late
at night.

Speaker 4 (16:15):
Well, what, she's twenty six, she can do what she wants.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
But for this period where she lost her job, she's
laid off, she's living in her parents' home. I think
that maybe she should live a little more respectfully, just
you know, maybe not the guys late at.

Speaker 4 (16:28):
Night, okay, but a midnight curfew. What are you doing here?

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Well, because if she's coming in at one or two
in the morning, or in the bar's closed or whatever,
then that mom and dad they're gonna wake up. It's disruptive.

Speaker 4 (16:43):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
Well, then maybe they shouldn't have taken her in. She
has every right to live her life as an adult.
But disagree, that's their kid. I mean you have to
take them in, okay, but just respect some rules. Leave
the boys out.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
Yeah, I get you on the boys.

Speaker 4 (16:58):
Okay, the boys. I'll give you one.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
Okay, So we have the boys.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
The boys.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
No, boys can stay out. Yeah, you don't like the
midnight curfew.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
No, it's restrictive. This is way too this is suffocating.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
Maybe she should be going to bed earlier and getting
up early looking for her next tech job.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
Well, maybe they don't want her to stay, so they're
gonna stay strict.

Speaker 1 (17:18):
So she can get the heck oup.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
Oh so it's kind of like, uh, all right, I
got you.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
Yeah, I don't know. My parents were pretty permissive compared
to this. These parents stale. You think it's cultural.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
I think so. I mean I wasn't even allowed to
shave until I got to high school. I had to
narrow my hair or I had to bleach my mustache,
which was so embarrassing. And then even as I got older,
like I couldn't have boys in my room. My cousins
that were boys couldn't be in my room.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
Oh wow.

Speaker 6 (17:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
But again I understand now as a parent, and I'm
actually glad that my parents put those restrictions on me
because I would have went haywire.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
Well, if it makes you feeling better. I wasn't allowed
to shave my life until I was thirteen, and I
was a.

Speaker 4 (18:02):
Swimmer, so that was like, oh, I can do that
to us.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
I don't know what is that different look, different different homes,
different rules. But I think that they're doing a great
thing by letting her be there. She's helping them, so
they need to compromise somehow. But if you're in the situation, look,
Danielle said, whatever, whatever you listening decide she's gonna do
and it's eight hundred ninet two nine kost.

Speaker 3 (18:28):
This is not a good threes company.

Speaker 1 (18:35):

(19:15):
do this stay together forever? What do you think it is?
Couples who do this stay together forever. It's been scientifically proven.
It's your len k Q and A. It's eight hundred
ninet two nine kost. Maybe you're in a marriage or
a couple and you know it's gonna last forever. You

(19:37):
probably do this. So couples who do this stay together forever,
get the number eight hundred nine two nine kost. We'll
get your guesses.

Speaker 5 (19:44):

Hi, good morning, Alan, Hey.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
Good morning. So are you part of a couple?

Speaker 9 (20:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (20:07):
Okay, and will you be together forever? Yes? All right,
So couples who do this stay together forever. What do
you think it is, Maria.

Speaker 7 (20:16):
Say, drink together?

Speaker 1 (20:18):
Drink together? Yeah, all right. You know, my husband and
I have been discovering these amazing bars around town. There's
one called Night on Earth and it's like so close
to our house. And then there's another one we went
to call the Jaguar Room, and that's in Silver Lake.

Speaker 4 (20:34):
Look at you, guys.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
I know I don't even like drink liquor, but I
love going to these bars. I'll order a beer or
a glass of wine or you know, once I had
like a I don't know what it was, but it
was good. But it's fun. It's fun to go out
and have a drink with your love, and it's a
great guest, Maria, it's not the right answer.

Speaker 15 (20:52):
Okay, well, thank you.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
Thank you. Hello, Laura and two kiddos kindergarten. Great, Hi everyone,
Hello to the whole car.

Speaker 10 (21:02):
Good morning.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
All right, So what do you guys think? The answer
is saying sorry and making mistakes and then they miss
and then they say sorry to each other. Oh, okay,
have you seen what do you have your own mommy
and daddy? Have you seen them do that.

Speaker 6 (21:21):
A lot? A lot?

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Well that they apologize and then everything's okay for everyone.
All right, Well, that's a really good guess. It's a
popular guess. Couples who do this day together forever, and
that would be apologize to each other. You guys, it's
not the right answer, but it's so good.

Speaker 15 (21:44):
Thank you guys.

Speaker 9 (21:47):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
It's good with your Stephanie.

Speaker 11 (21:50):

My son was doing an internship. He got promoted pretty
quickly and he asked why and they said, because you
don't complaint.

seventy five daytime limit ticks down for the social media
company to find a non Chinese owner or risk being
permanently banned, mister Bees posted on TikTok he said, Okay, fine,

(24:09):
I'll buy it so it doesn't get banned. His real
name is Jimmy Donaldson. He is the single most popular
YouTuber and the third most popular TikToker and he said
he just met with a bunch of billionaires and they
are going to make the highest bid to buy and
own TikTok. So we shall see what happens there. And
we've now learned which artists will be performing at which

you're not going to be there. We will be carrying

(24:51):
every moment here. We are the official audio partner for
fire aid iHeartRadio and champagne sales have sunk. They lost
their pop as people around the world aren't in the
mood to say cheers. The total number of champagne shipments
from France sank about fifteen percent from last year. French
luxury giant LVMH first signaled last July they're gonna be

(25:11):
way behind. It was going to be a rough year.
Their CFO said. The current global situation, be it geopolitical
or macroeconomic, does not lead people to cheer up and
open bottles of champagne. LVMH, the world's biggest champagne producer.
You got pops and bottles when it feels right, and
we do have that rain on the way today though sunny,

(25:32):
windy and warm for your Wednesday. Red flag warning has
been extended all the way throughout the day. Tempts going
up today, maybe even eighties in some areas. Looking ahead
that rain will arrive on Saturday through Sunday. It is
fifty five and Burbank. We've run on Celsia's energy drinks.
It's KOST Los Angeles Coast, one of three point five
more cash on coast.

Speaker 5 (25:53):
Just ahead, it's the L and K Morning Show.

Speaker 4 (25:56):
This is Caesar from Los Angeles.

Speaker 12 (25:57):
Now.

Speaker 4 (25:58):
I'm listening to Ellen K every day.

Speaker 5 (26:00):
Post one oh three point five.

Speaker 4 (26:02):
Right to Ellen for advice because she's seen a thing
or two.

Speaker 7 (26:05):
She is.

Speaker 1 (26:06):
Ellen read your letters every Wednesday. When this one comes
from Danielle, and Danielle said, I told my parents that
I wrote to you. I'll do whatever you guys say.
Please read my letter. I feel lost. So it goes
like this, Dear Ellen, I'm feeling overwhelmed, confused, and hurt
by my current living situation with my parents. I'm twenty

(26:28):
six years old. I recently moved back in with them
after being laid off from my tech job. While I'm
incredibly grateful for their support during this rough patch has
been complicated. My parents have made it very clear that
their house comes with strict rules. After a few weekend
nights out in a couple of late night visitors, they
laid down the law midnight curfew and absolutely no boys
allowed in the house. Their reasoning is they have to

(26:51):
be up early for work. They don't want to be
disrupted by late night noise or random guys in their home.
I'm an adult. I'm feeling like I'm suffocated. I do
pay them some rent, I buy groceries, plus I do
a lot of the laundry. I should have some rights.
The worst part is when they went out of town
for three days, they made me stay with a friend
because they don't want me alone in the house. Ah,
that's a huge ouch.

Speaker 4 (27:11):
And that has nothing to do with them waking up early.
They're not even there.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
They're not even there. It does have to do with randos,
I get.

Speaker 4 (27:20):
I'm with you.

Speaker 1 (27:21):
Yeah, she would have them there in the middle of
the night. You know, who knows they might even sleep
in the parents' bed. I mean, you don't know. I
mean it sounds like they don't trust her.

Speaker 4 (27:33):
At all at all.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
So the way they've gone about is making a tough
time in my life even harder. And why do you
have opinions on this? So far every call we've received
has been all women talking to you. Danielle, who's listening?
And Tracy, thank you so much for calling us. You
have thoughts?

Speaker 14 (27:55):
Well, be respectful, yes, just us think about that.

Speaker 9 (28:01):
She she should have.

Speaker 14 (28:02):
Been thankful that the parents take her in at this time.

Speaker 5 (28:06):
Yes, and she's an adult.

Speaker 14 (28:08):
I understand that, but just respect them, their house, their rules.
And if she pays the rent, is it a full rant?

Speaker 9 (28:18):
Are just sum.

Speaker 14 (28:19):
And she pays see partial, that means she got help
from the parents, And just respect them. I mean she
cannot just like pay some brand and do whatever she
wants to do. Then if that's occasion, she shouldn't be
on her own right, So just respect them. I mean
I am Asian and decide agree with Dalen that we

(28:41):
we have rules and not just Asian have rules, but
we have rules and better be respectful.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
Yeah, totally okay, thank you Tracy, thanks for helping.

Speaker 14 (28:55):
You're welcome.

Speaker 7 (28:56):
Bye bye now bye, And no.

Speaker 1 (28:58):
Guys are calling because guys don't have the same rules
that girls have.

Speaker 4 (29:01):
I think that's very true. I think there's a lot
to that.

Speaker 10 (29:04):
Ellen.

Speaker 1 (29:05):
Did you have a curfew as a when you were
living under your parents?

Speaker 3 (29:08):
I mean probably, I don't remember what it was, and
I don't know that it was ever forcefully, you know imposed.
I mean mom would stay awake probably until we got home,
or she would lightly sleep, and then she could hear
the door and know that we were safe.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
And as a guy, would you bring Rando's home it happened?
And what would your mother say?

Speaker 6 (29:26):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
And maybe she didn't know.

Speaker 4 (29:28):
Well, or she did and it was I don't know.
I mean just I don't know. Maybe I could have
benefited from a little strictness, I think so.

Speaker 8 (29:36):

Speaker 5 (29:43):
I love your Coast one oh three point five.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
Really medical professional on the line right now, a practitioner
of medicine. Finster, You are a doctor and you heard
the letter to Ellen from Danielle feeling suffocated in her
home as she looks for a new job at the
age of twenty six. So what is your opinion.

Speaker 7 (30:09):
So at twenty six, medically speaking, this is when the
brain hits maturity. So she is, you know, a completely
immature female and she can make mature decisions. I don't
know what happened before while when she was a kid
that made the parents not trust her. But you know,
she tells the mature speel. She had a job, a
chech job, which is great. She's moved back in, she's

(30:33):
paying rent. She is entitled to have her freedom. She's
entitled to do whatever she wants in her own room.
I understand that the parents may not want her to,
you know, go in the living room, you know, do whatever,
and you'll go into her bedroom or go to their bedroom.
But in her room, she's intelied to her own privacy.

(30:54):
She is intalent to come back to the house whenever
she wants to. She is her own person.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
Well okay, well, medically speaking, if twenty six is that
age where you are mature, then you know you make
a good argument. However, you know, it sounds like she's
been a little disruptive so far, and she's kind of
fighting back. So I don't know.

Speaker 7 (31:15):
Because because she's an adult.

Speaker 1 (31:17):
But everyone else says, respect your parents.

Speaker 7 (31:20):
That's that's for kids, that's for teenagers. She and that's
for people that are not paying wink. Also she's paying
them money.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
All right, Finster, Well that's a different opinion, and I
appreciate it.

Speaker 7 (31:35):
Yeah, you guys don't have let's say you two.

Speaker 1 (31:37):
Finster Finster MD weighing in. I didn't know that the
brain was fully mature at twenty six. I didn't even
especially for men.

Speaker 4 (31:46):
I don't think that's for everyone.

Speaker 6 (31:47):
I think.

Speaker 5 (31:50):
It's the LLENK Morning Show.

Speaker 7 (31:51):
Thank you so much for making my morning so much
easier to wake up kids.

Speaker 5 (31:54):
Post one oh.

Speaker 1 (31:55):
Three point five Top Stories Top of the hour. Good morning,
I'm ellen K and the US government jumping into the
AI game in a big, big way. It has just
been announced. So we are entering a brand new partnership
with open Ai, Oracle and SoftBank, all leaders in the space,
providing up to half a billion dollars in infrastructure. It's
called Project Stargate, and open Ai CEO Sam Altman says

(32:18):
the possibilities are exciting and endless, especially for our health.

Speaker 13 (32:22):
I believe that as this technology progresses, we will see
diseases get cured and unprecedented rate.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
Okay, and authorities descended on a home and Ukaipa, arresting
two men, detaining thirty more and seizing two hundred and
fifty fighting roosters, plus a bunch of cash and guns.
The illegal cockfighting operation was broken up on Avenue E,
where at the time of the bus more than fifty
cars were parked outside. The two guys arrested were fined
hiding in their vehicles with crates of roosters crammed in

(32:49):
the trunks. And it is sunny, windy, warmer for your Wednesday.
Our red flag warning has been extended all the way
until six pm. Temes jump in up to the upper
seventies in most areas, and looking ahead, we do see
that rain arriving Saturday through Sunday. Santa Clarita, seventy five
year high. Santa Anna, you go to eighty and right
now sixty five In Burbank, we run on Celsia's Energy drinks.

Speaker 5 (33:10):
It's the L and K Morning Show.

Speaker 9 (33:11):
It's like having breakfast with some good friends.

Speaker 7 (33:13):
When I listen to you'all, Oh thank.

Speaker 1 (33:16):

Is an online contest. So you enter online. We'll give
you that keyword coming up. Loving your calls to help Danielle.
Danielle moved back in with her parents. She's twenty six,
and doctor Finster called earlier. He's a medical professional, he said,
medically speaking, at the age of twenty six, your brain

(33:57):
has matured. And so Danielle is a woman living with
her parents. But the rules are suffocating her and she
has a curfew now, no boys allowed. They even went
out of town for three days and said you need
to go stay with a friend because you're not going
to be here without us.

Speaker 4 (34:15):
That's too much for me.

Speaker 3 (34:17):
I get the random's coming home at night. That I
get it, but not letting her stay in the home,
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (34:22):
This broke my heart. She said. The way they've gone
about it is making an already tough time in my
life even harder. Because she's looking for a new job.
She was laid off her tech job.

Speaker 3 (34:32):
Can I ask you before we get to Selena, how
do you and Roy handle it with Calvin when he
comes home for summers or breaks or like, what's the sitch?

Speaker 1 (34:42):
Well, he's super respectful, he's really quiet, he's he'll go
out with his friends. When he comes back, come to
my side of the bed and tell me he's home.

Speaker 4 (34:53):
He comes in to tell you.

Speaker 1 (34:54):
Yeah, he'll come and tell me I'm home, and then
he knows that I'm not really going to sleep until
I know he's home. Sometimes I set an alarm, you know.
I remember what was in New Year's He was at
home and he was out with his friends, and I
set the alarm for one am, and I that's way
too early than two am. I thought, that's still maybe

(35:15):
too early. I just didn't want him out on the
roads late at night. Yeah, so, but then I saw
that he was on the move, he was in an uber.
So so that's how we do it with him. I mean,
he's you know, he's super responsible and respectful and and
we love having him home. As you know, I would
just sit up all night waiting for her. No, I

(35:35):
didn't have to get up in the morning and work
and i'd see there you are, okay, all right, I'm sorry,
I boopsie. Oh no, all right, anyway, let's get to us, Selena, Selena.
So you heard Danielle's letter. She said she'll do whatever
you say. You know, she wants us to read this
letter because she feels lost, and you have kind of

(35:58):
a similar thing. I think.

Speaker 11 (36:00):
Oh gosh, I'm kind of in the same boat as Danielle.
And I moved back home with my parents recently, and
I went to the Coast Christmas party and as you
guys know, it ends super early in the morning, one
to two o'clock, and I got home at three am.
And let me tell you, the next morning, I had

(36:22):
a sit down conversation with my father about my whereabouts.

Speaker 10 (36:27):
He wanted to know where I was at and.

Speaker 11 (36:30):
Who I was with until three in the morning, and.

Speaker 5 (36:34):
How old are you.

Speaker 11 (36:35):
I'm thirty five.

Speaker 1 (36:37):
Okay, well, look, I guess no matter what your age is,
it's their house. And by the morning, Miss Lena, I
would be extremely worried.

Speaker 11 (36:48):
As well, I understand if I wasn't too upset, although
I did tell him I was moving out.

Speaker 1 (36:55):
Oh oh, so you know, are you out now? I
am not.

Speaker 10 (37:07):
I'm still there and I still have a curse yet,
but it is their house and paying one thousand dollars
in rent is much cheaper and better than paying two
thousand somewhere else.

Speaker 11 (37:20):
So I'll come home on time.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
Good Selena, good solution, Thank.

Speaker 11 (37:25):
You, No Alm, thank you.

Speaker 5 (37:28):
It's the L and K Morning Show.

Speaker 14 (37:29):
Oh my god, you guys are amazing.

Speaker 10 (37:32):
You make my day, You make my morning, and I
love you all.

Speaker 5 (37:36):
Coast one three point five.

Speaker 1 (37:37):
What are your chores and what do you do while
you're doing them?

Speaker 7 (37:41):
Ryan?

Speaker 1 (37:41):
You still have your room buy I do?

Speaker 4 (37:43):
Yeah? I love that guy.

Speaker 1 (37:44):
Yeah, that guy takes care of those floors.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
It gets where I can't get, you know. That's what
I love about him. It's under all the surfaces.

Speaker 1 (37:51):
I was watching the SNL fifty year celebration and they
do clips of classic shows and Rachel Trash was the
womba came over, so you can just imagine what the
womba does, all right. Yeah, anyway, whatever chores you have,

(38:16):
someone did a huge study in the US. What are
those songs that we love to do our chores? For
the best songs to do the chores too? Number three
Britney Spears Toxic right, Number two. You want to do

(38:40):
your chores, then put on Dolly parton nine to five.

Speaker 4 (38:44):
Bottle.

Speaker 6 (38:47):
Really getting by.

Speaker 1 (38:51):
And by the way, there aren't any chores songs in
the top ten that are by Taylor Swift. Yeah, but
number one is Whitney Houston os.

Speaker 3 (39:09):
With Somebody.

Speaker 1 (39:10):
They're all pose songs.

Speaker 4 (39:13):
So you don't have to claim when you hear these
bad ways because Taylor is left out. You think we
should player just yea.

Speaker 6 (39:23):
Once upon a time a film of sax Ago. I
was in your side.

Speaker 5 (39:27):
You got me an, you found me, you found me,
you found me.

Speaker 1 (39:35):
I guess it didn't care and I guess I like that,
and then I felt hard.

Speaker 4 (39:40):
It's like a step back with army, with army, with army, and.

Speaker 6 (39:49):
He's not.

Speaker 1 (39:51):
One when he's nice, assume me and relist. The blame
is on me.
