Brad Pitt's mom, jane Eda Pitt, has passed away the

dollar Spanish Dell house here in La in Outposts, So
(04:14):
he's in the Hollywood Hills.
Speaker 1 (04:15):

The on K Morning Show. It's post one three play five.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
All right, hot day today, triple digits. This is a
heat wave. It's a mini heat wave last few days.
But today you're gonna see highs up and over one hundred.
So in your car add ten.
Speaker 13 (06:43):
Hot cars. No fun at hole. I love this. This
is the first I got a couple. If you don't mind,
can I help?
Speaker 1 (06:50):
You need all the help we can get first.
Speaker 13 (06:52):
I love this, whether it's a tiny little mini spray
bottle or just even like a bottle of water. Just
pour a little water on your steering wheel like the
evaporation have and so quickly, and we'll cool down your
steering wheel faster than you can even imagine.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
It works, It literally works. Before you get out of
your car.
Speaker 13 (07:07):
If you're going to work today and you're parking in
the sun, put a kozy, a beer coozy over your
gear shifter if you have one of those.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
Keeps it nice and cool.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Okay, my metal seat belt buckle gets hot all the time.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
Got one for that.
Speaker 13 (07:20):
When you get out, click your seat belt in so
that it's not exposed to the sun. You see what
I mean before, when you get out of your car
when you're leaving, click it clicking all right, and you
get this all figured out?
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Okay, how about this.
Speaker 7 (07:31):
I don't know.
Speaker 13 (07:32):
I don't know if you're gonna love this one, but
oven mits for the steering wheel rips.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
I don't hate it, really, I think it's it's not
a bad idea.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
Yep.
Speaker 13 (07:41):
So if you're still at home, grab an oven, mit
take it even one. Yeah, you know, and if you
don't have any of that, you just really want to
do it quickly opening and closing your car to fast.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Like, Yeah, the couzy one really blew my mind. And
I'm just gonna throw water in my car today.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
Just do it.
Speaker 9 (07:58):
Take the Allen K Morning Show with you you everywhere,
make us a preset on your iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (08:04):

your hot car. Things you can do to keep it cool.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
Put water on steering wheel, Put a koozy over the
gear shift buckle your seat belt when you get out
a car so the buckle is not in the direct sun.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Grab an oven Mit. Drive with an oven Mit on
your hand.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
That's probably one of my favorites. Diane. You're a mail carrier.
You heard them and you have a hack for yourself.
What is it?
Speaker 8 (08:29):
Yes, I went to the post office in Marietta, and
with these heat advisories, I just want to tell people,
you know, if you see your mail carrier offer a
bottle of water.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
That's that is a great message to put out there. Yes,
you know what else, I've wondered your route?
Speaker 1 (08:46):
So how long? How long is your route on the street.
Speaker 16 (08:50):
It takes me about three.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
To four hours, okay, So do you have your favorite
pit stops where like if you need something cold?
Speaker 1 (08:58):
To drink or do you use the restroom? Do you
have that planned in?
Speaker 5 (09:02):
I have planned in, but you know we're not supposed
to leave our route, So.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
That's what I wondered. You can't leave your truck it's
wide open.
Speaker 8 (09:11):
I usually bring plenty of water and I pour water
on me because I've gotten each broken.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
Yeah, oh my gosh.
Speaker 13 (09:17):
Okay, you have one of those frog towels, those cooling towels,

subject to a minimum ten percent tariff, but moving forward,
rates will vary from nation to nation.

The highest rates were imposed on goods from pravil.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
Brazil that's fifty percent, Switzerland about forty percent, and Serbia
thirty five percent. An additional twenty one countries have lower tariffs.
Economists sphered these more aggressive tariffs could exacerbate economic problems,
including rising inflation and slowing job growth. All Right, Nationwide
Insurance posted it's twenty twenty five hambone nominees. It's a

bowl while out for a walk. He defended his owners
and lost a tooth when it kicked him. He is

Great Dane that stole a full turkey leg from her
owner and swallowed it whole.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
The bone had to be removed.

And Santiago left you this talk back.
Speaker 11 (27:11):
Hi Sarah, Hi Alan. My name is Santiago Sanchez. I've
been with my girlfriend for now three years. So basically
we decided to move in together because that's the next
step we're in love. But as we're looking for apartments,
I find out she has nine thousand dollars in credit
card debt. And that's just something that I I mean,
I told her she has to pay that before we
(27:33):
move in together. Am I wrong for that?
Speaker 5 (27:36):
I don't know.
Speaker 11 (27:36):
It took me long enough to fix my credit and
I don't want to mess it up again.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
Oh all right, so that's pretty big bill right there.
Speaker 18 (27:44):
Yeah, it's a it's a big bill.
Speaker 16 (27:47):
He mentions that he had, you know, a former financial
situation that he needed to clean up. Yeah, this can
leave us with some financial anxiety or even there's a
phrase financial trauma.
Speaker 18 (27:58):
Oh may sound a little extreme, but depending upon the
circumstances or where he found himself at one time, Yeah,
this could bring up a lot of fear, anxiety, maybe
even shame that we sometimes associate with having debt of
some sort.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
Like to me as signals he's going to have to
take most of the responsibility because I'm sure that well
hopefully she's paying this down.
Speaker 13 (28:22):
Yeah, I mean, but I hear maybe what Sarah here's
and I'm not sure that this is a couple that
needs to be moving in together right now, because when
you're taking that step and you're doing this with your partner,
a lot of times their things become our things and
you should let's work through it together.
Speaker 18 (28:35):
Of course, I mean, many people enter a marriage or
a living situation with student loans.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 16 (28:41):
I do wonder if, for whatever reason, he sees this
as indicative of her being responsible in general.
Speaker 18 (28:49):
Maybe that's what's coming up.
Speaker 1 (28:50):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (28:51):
I have a friend she left her purse on top
of the car and went jogging around a track in
Burbank and then her long time boyfriend.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
It was a last straw.
Speaker 3 (29:02):
He broke up with her because he said, if you
can't take care of your things, your purse, you can't
take care of our baby one day when we have
a baby.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
I was like, are you kidding me? This is the
this is what he's this is what he said to her.
Speaker 16 (29:15):
That is not somebody I think who is in a
position to be psychologically joining another person.

cure it, but it helps so that the longstone gets
scarred more. So you know, she's a fighter.

Coast one, three point five Coast one of three point five.
All right, just got a call from head nurse Shelley
at White Memorial thanking all of her fellow nurses for
their tireless, unselfish work putting patients before all others. And
(38:26):
we love our nurses.
Speaker 3 (38:28):
We have so many who call it on their way home,
on their way in long shifts, saving.
Speaker 1 (38:33):
Lives, helping people. Find a special nurse who came upon
Winston the dog who was choking on a chicken bone
that he found on a walk. My pug pug ole
Penny after trash day. We'll find scraps of bones and
things on the ground and I have to always like, no,
(38:56):
I know it, grab it out of their mouth and
they're growling.
Speaker 13 (39:00):
Oh, they can't stand it. It's like they've become a
different being, a creature. When they have something that they
don't want you to get, you go what is it?
Speaker 16 (39:07):
Just?
Speaker 2 (39:07):
What is it?
Speaker 1 (39:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (39:08):
Let me I'm that. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (39:10):
Well this was a chicken bone. And so Winston's choking
and Kim Cook is a neighbor of the you know,
the owner, and saw this go down. Well she's a nurse,
a human nurse, but she rushed in to do CPR
on Winston.
Speaker 19 (39:26):
I think it's just, you know, a chest is a chest,
the heart is a heart. I've never done this on
the dog, so I wasn't. I don't know how to
check a pulse on a dog, so I basically just
went by when he starts breathing, and there.
Speaker 3 (39:39):
Was and she saved Winston the dog. She did the
CPR little Heimlich and then boom and Winston's back on his.

Speaker 3 (40:36):

probably try to do it on purpose. There's our safety net, of.
Speaker 1 (40:45):
Course, but he can't help it, like that's just probably
just second nature to him, like I'm just gonna smash

Speaker 4 (40:53):
Far it will go.
Speaker 3 (40:55):

and the quote of the day.
Speaker 13 (41:03):
I love this quote too, you're about to share because
I think it applies to both baseball and life.
Speaker 3 (41:07):
All Right, you said you have to get in that
box and just own it. Think positive.
Speaker 1 (41:11):
It's yours.
