Came morning Chammela, and now I'mRyan Mano, I'm social Queen Darlene.
The question I got from both ofyou as I walked in early this

(03:43):
morning was did Calvin ski avalanche territory? And yes, he did Palisades Tahoe.
So they did their three day weekend, him and a bunch of his
friends and a lot of people fromcampus all going to Tahoe over the weekend
and skiing and Palisades Tahoe is wherethe two avalanches were, So Calvin said

(04:03):
that in all of the Tahoe resorts, because then they went to Sugar Bowl
the next day they were dynamiting thesnow and that you would be on the
lift and the lift. You hearthe boom boom, and the snow would
come off the trees and the liftwould swing. Whoa, I didn't know
they'd do that. So it's likea controlled avalanche so it doesn't get out
of hands. Yeah, okay, right, So if you ever hear the

(04:25):
booms, that's them dynamiting the snowarea so that it so that it falls.
How was the drive. It wasa lot of traffic on Friday,
but then coming back it was itwas easy. It came back on Sunday
and you feel okay with the wholething. Yeah, I do. He
had a blast. Good. Yeah, I'm glad that. Yeah, I
would get like traction location we have. Yeah, I was, Yeah,

(04:47):
that's important to Yeah, they were. They were all in on it,
all in on it. I'll tellyou what. I'm all in one.
Do you mind if I please?Okay, fool me once. Ellen,
you brought this up last week onNetflix. I what a ride. I
stayed awake, you guys, andthis is unlike me. I stayed awake
until two am Sunday into Monday watchingit. You couldn't stop. I couldn't

(05:10):
stop. I don't blame you.It's a great show. It's so good
you have to watch it. I'mall in starring Michelle Keegan. Yeah,
all right, So she's married toanother brit named Mark Wright. Yes,
and Mark Wright and Michelle lived herefor a couple of years. He was
working for Extra. Yeah, he'sa former British footballer. Yes, right,
yes, and now they built theirdream home in the English countryside,

(05:32):
which they used in fomy Ones. But it's a great show on Netflix.
And so I used to see herout here at the sweatshop in to Luca
Lake and they would be spinning allthe time, and all the girls would
always admire her rear end just thegirls, well the guys. She's something.

(05:53):
What a show. I watched somethingYou out at twenty seven on Rotten
Tomatoes and it's a lyft with KevinHart. And I'm I'm not a Kevin
Hart movie fan. This is oneKevin Hart movie that I really liked.
But it only got a twenty seven. Oh and what would you give it?
Them stealing gold bars? I wouldgive it at least a sixty Oh,
okay, maybe a seventy. Iliked it. I had a love

(06:14):
story. Now do you and Roywatch together? Yes? Yeah? Usually,
So what happens like in this instancewith me my girlfriend Carla. She
fell asleep after episode two. Ipushed through to episode seven. Okay,
so in the morning, I said, you can be so mad. I
gone to episode seven. I know. So what do you do in that
case? Do you just let themcatch up? Well? He watches again

(06:35):
with me. Oh, so you'llgo back and do it. Yes,
that's what I'm doing. Looks secureto put in some hours. I don't
care because it's that good. Darleneis all in on rugby. Oh no,

response for the friend. Oh becausenow the other mother's going. Thanks Dar.
Yep, she doesn't know yet untilSaturday when the game happens. Oh
man, anyway, she doesn't knowyet. She doesn't know. She's never
seen a match of rugby. Ohshe doesn't even know what's about. Okay,
all right, are you boycotting?Dar? Are you not going?
I've boycotted the first time this pastSaturday. I've never missed any of my

(07:19):
son's games in any sport. Yeah, and I had to tell him,
Look, I officially don't like thissport. I'm not in on this and
I'm sorry, but I can't goto any more games. We want to
know what you are all in on, dars not in on? What is
it that has consumed you? Mine, of course is my son. But

(07:41):

We have a special screening for ourgyle. Dua Lipa is in this,
Sam rockwell, so many great actors. This when you're the greater the
spy, the bigger the lie.All right, from the twisted mind of
Matthew Vaughan, director of Kingsman,we would like to send you to a

(09:15):
He goes one to three point five, It goes one o three point five.
It's five minutes after the big hourfive o'clock. Here ghast Coasting YouTube
a weekend. You're gonna love Dorethe llen K Morning Show on Coast one
oh three point five, and itis Coast one three point five. You're

(09:41):
the llen K Morning Show, allright, Mellan, I'm Ryan, I'm
Social Queen. Darlene, what isit that you are into, what consumes
you? Your passion? You wantto hear about it? Eight nine KOs
See, so many of the critics, choice and Emmy speeches were all about
that, about passion and you know, dedicating your life to something. So

(10:07):
you want to hear about it fromyou. I mean, we also give
you your Happiness Act for life atthis time of the morning every day.
What do you know about the twominute rule? Ellen that if you drop
something on the floor, No,that's the that's the toe, that's five
second. Okay, wait, thetwo minute rule. Huh. I don't
think I know what that is.I think you're good at it, though,
because I think I think I knowyou and like you don't go to

(10:28):
bed with dishes in the sink, right, you know I don't. And
the reason is because if you applythe two minute rule to any little thing
that is sitting in front of you, whether it's a small pile of laundry
or oh, I have to putthat extension court away or let me reply
to this email. If it takesless than two minutes, do it the
second it pops in your brain.Oh, I like, okay, just

(10:48):
always look at everything through that twominute filter, because you know, then
they stack up. These little thingsbecome bigger things if you don't do them.
Oh that's so good. So ifyou drop a cookie on the floor,
don't leave it there too minute. No, that's a different rule.
Morning show host one oh three pointfive. I'm Mark Wheeler Coast one of
three point five, and we're talkingabout your passions. What is it?
What is it that consumes you andyour thoughts? What are you all in

(11:11):
on? For us? It's youknow, different foods and TV shows.
My son Calvin too. Yeah,I think that we're really into those.
We love. You know what's funny, I've been a wrestling fan, WWE
fan my whole life since I wassix years old. Yeah, you're all
in on that, I am.And so you kind of like would poke
fun a little bit, ellen, like in jest, you know, years

(11:31):
and years, and then I finallytook you to your first match and go,
I get it. I get it, I do, and I get
why you're passionate about this felt sobad. Yeah, making fun of you
for all of your pro wrestling stuff. I mean, we have Funko pop
dolls everywhere. Even gave me awrestling belt you know, and so now
I really do. I do understandit. And I think that anyone who
who has that kind of love forsomething, I mean, that's a great

(11:56):
thing. How dare I? Youguys will find that you have passions and
having a passion as a gift.I think we all have passions and you
don't get to choose them. Theypick you. But you have to be
alert to them. You have tobe looking for them. And when you
find your passion, it's a fantasticgift for you because it gives you direction,

(12:16):
it gives you purpose. It's right. He found his in Lauren Sanchez.
That's Jeff Bezos. What is yourpassion? Kost A big NFL retirement
just announced this morning? Will tellyou who you got your top stories coming

(12:37):
up? Life like this. Also, do you like bitter foods? I'll
tell you what it says about you. Those stories and more, Nick Coast,
Avril Levigne and Coast one on threepoint five Top Stories, Top of
the Hour, Good Morning of Melank and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has been
released from the hospital following a twoweeks day for treatment of his prostate cancer.

(13:01):
Official say Austin's cancer was caught andtreated early, and his prognosis is
excellent. What about this? Theabrupt closure of all six Sweet Lady Jane
locations shocked so many of us,especially those of us who love it's decadent
triple berry cake. But now we'relearning that the closure may not be so
mysterious after all. Court documents reviewedby The La Times alleged the bakery was
involved in a class action lawsuit forwage theft in mismanagement for nearly seven months.

(13:26):
And do you like bitter foods?Researchers from the University of Innsbruck in
Austria investigated taste preferences of Americans. They had them eat bitter foods, including
things like gin and tonic, blackcoffee, and dark chocolate, and two
studies they investigated how bitter taste preferencesmight be associated with antisocial personality traits.

(13:46):
So if you like bitter things likeblack coffee and dark chocolate, you may
have psychopathic tendencies, according to thisAustrian study. Yikes. USC quarterback Caleb
Williams is out of the Trojan andentering the end NFL Draft. The Heisman
winning QB expected to be the firstoverall pick by the Bears, and let's
talk about retirement. For Jason Kelsey. The NFL playoff picture is whittled down

(14:09):
to the final eight, the Eaglestaking a shocking eld of the Bucks just
last night and now this morning,Jason Kelsey retiring. He said he's going
to dedicate his time to podcasting andhe's super proud of his bro It's been
truly a joy, probably one ofmy most enjoyable seasons, both as an
Eagle and you know, as abrother, and you know, really really

(14:31):
happy for him. You know,it's been awesome to talk to him every
week, laugh with them every week, and I look forward to doing that
in the off season. Jason Kelceyretiring. We'd have a sunny and clear
day today, our warmest day ofthe week by far. Highs in the
low seventies, and right now itis forty eight in Burbank Kost, Los
Angeles. It's Coast one of threepoint five. We are the only k

(14:52):
morning show here on Coast one ofthree point five, with the return of
Cash on Coast coming up about tenminutes away from Another keyword for you to
enter online. You do it online, gits a thousand dollars. It is
back. It is cash on Coast. We love giving you money one thousand
dollars. Don't not do it becauseit's the easiest way to win. It's

(15:16):
by listening to Coast entering that keyword. All right, we're talking about passions.
So many of the awards speeches havebeen about passions and how chasing your
dream and you know all these things. And before we get to see Andy
and Ernie and all your other callsat eight hundred and ninety two nine kost
a lot of record lows across NorthAmerica. Two thousand flights canceled today,

(15:39):
just today, just today. Yeah, I'm going to fly to see my
daddy Dale in one of the coldeststates, Colorado. I'm going to go
at the end of the week.So I guess we'll see. Nothing can
keep me from my daddy. No, have you looked a head though to
see what the attempts are? Ihave? Okay, yeah, fortygrees?
Oh god, But speaking of buying, so we all know we shouldn't be

(16:03):
a Karen, but be careful toavoid being a Phillip. Oh okay,
So flight attendants call guys who aredifficult Phillips. And it came from passenger.
I'd like to punch P I LP. Oh yeah, so don't
be a Phillip. The quickest wayto get labeled a Phillip would be constantly
ringing your call buzzer complaining about, you know, anyone making noise or filming

(16:26):
the crew. Yeah, a lotof that. By the way, you
can't film the crew. It's beenbanned on United American, Delta and Southwest.
Oh yeah, so don't be aPhillip A passenger. It's just awesome.
Karen's no Phillips now, you know, all right? What are we
passionate about? Ryan? Are you? Are you passionate about fool Me Once

(16:48):
on Netflix? Or Michelle Keegan theStar Both? Seriously both, I mean
really, if you haven't gone inon this yet, take because Ellen was
the first to recommend this. Imean I hadn't heard of it until you,
and you know Michelle. I knowMichelle. And by the way,
Michelle and Mark, her husband, they are really close friends with one of
my best friends, Annie, andso maybe Annie can get you, like
a recording. It's just something likejust a I don't even know, an

(17:11):
autograph or something. I stayed awakeyou guys until two am. On Monday
morning watching this, I couldn't stop. So what is it that you are
all in? You also went allin on your bearded dragon. I did.
Yeah, and we have the tortoisenow, the African tortoise. I
made him a bed of coconut fiberover the weekend so he can hibernate.
Yeah. See, you make funof me being obsessed with my son.

(17:33):
Yeah, backing him, thinking abouthim all the time, talking about him.
But you know, everyone has theirthing, right, He's good to
Andy passions. We're talking passions. You and your wife have an agreement,
all right. My wife is wayinto the Bachelorette and the Bachelor Show.
I cannot get into the life ofme. But the outside to that is

(17:56):
I can work on my videography diction. She has no care for at all.
Oh okay, so you use herthing that you're not into to do
your thing that she's not into.Yes, exactly. Yeah, it's a
trade. Ze's it's good to Ernie. Ernie, yours is an accidental passion,
and you were forced to do something. I was kind of forced to

(18:19):
repair my car, and from thereI just started to work on cars.
Now I now I reconstruct them.Oh, that's amazing. So you went
from being forced to fix a carto now building cars. Correct the old

(18:40):
old bombs they call them bombs.Oh really, what are you working on
now? Lowriders? Thirty eight plymouthsA thirty eight Plymouth? Yes, where
do you even find one of those? You don't keep your calls coming?
Yeah, we want to hear whatyou're into, all into your passion.

(19:03):

to be there in August, andwhen she moved them too January, I
lost all my money for the concert. It was very disappointing. So I

(22:30):
was hoping she was gonna a posterfor that. She has Boston on the
brain, because Yeah, she insultedToronto and then she tried to tried to
take it back by saying that, you know, that would be like them
thinking they're coming to see Lady Gaga. And she said she loves Lady Gaga,
especially because she's shorter than her.She stopped talking with her. Yeah,
it worse. Yeah, half ofus would rather have Jerry duty than

And his passion is our friend LaurenSanchez. So Lauren has a son

(28:11):
the same age as my son,Calvin. They're both twenty two. So
we came up through high school togetherand they both were on the same football
