Speaker 1 (00:00):
Joining US now Congress from Gary Palmer, Gary, welcome in.
Thanks for being here.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
I'm glad to be on with the JT than for
having me. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Absolutely been a little busy up there for you guys
in the House recently at the Epstein files and the
vote yesterday. We're going to talk about that in just
a minute, but I do want to talk about something
else you're working on with the EPA and helping our
farmers across this country.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
What's going on there?

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Well, Monday, I flew up for a press conference with
the Administrator Lee Zelden to announce a proposed rule change
on the waters of the US. And under Biden and
under Obama, they were basically trying to regulate water standing
in farmers' fields, ditchwater climbing. It was in some cases

(00:48):
that it was navigable water because it might drain into
some trinitary and a lot of this cty didn't drain anywhere,
just evaporate it. And it has been a huge problem
for farmers and ranchers and it's one reasons why our
food costs are so high. And they put forward a
rule that is common sense. It's also consistent with the

(01:10):
Supreme Court ruling a few months ago. It's actually last year,
and we're right now in at the beginning of the
forty five day public comment period. But I think you're
going to see some major changes and regulations coming out
of EPA.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Well, I'm glad to hear that because I think our
farmers across the country, whether you're you know, agriculture, livestock,
or whatever you're doing, it is expensive and hard to
keep a family farm running. And you know, you see
farms close all the time because they GISs can't afford
to maintain what they're doing here. What are the biggest

(01:48):
challenges you know, when you've looked at to look into this.
Obviously some of the regulations you just talked about, but
what are some of the other challenges that most farmers
that you see are facing now that they really need.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Help with input costs, whether it's cost fertilizer, the cost
of diesel fuel for their equipment of the equipment, and
you compound that with the regulations imposed by the BIDE
Administration JT. The BIDE Administration added about two hundred and

(02:20):
twelve billion dollars in regulatory costs. That's just six billion
dollars list and we collect and income taxes every year.
It's a hidden tax, and they get passed on to
people and everything that they buy. And when you think
about what the farmers are having to deal with, it

(02:40):
gets passed on, and your food costs, it gets passed on,
and clothing that's made of cotton. So I've been meeting
with some of the farm groups and I said, send
me a list of every regulation that you think is
obsolete or as contradictory, our a duplication, and let us
start trying to eliminate those and get down to the

(03:02):
regulations that we need, because you know, we want to
protect the environment as much as anybody else. But this
just adds to the cost of everything and leaves Eldham
to administr at Tta I think is exactly the right
guy to lead this effort.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Well, when you talk about beef cattle, let's do that
for a second.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Here.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
We were pretty self sufficient there. We do import some
cattle beef further from you, a place like Argentina and whatnot,
but the cost is through the roof these days. What's
going on there with the pricing on you know some
of the things in the meat industry, and you know
agriculture as well for these farmers and why is our
beef so high?

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Well, they were targeted by the Green New Deal. You
remember what AOC said about on beef, you know, about
cattle and you know she felt that they were passing gas,
even wrote it up in her document on the Green

(04:02):
New Deal, and she is so ignorant that she doesn't
realize it. Well, no pass gas, they built. But that's
they were targeted. They wanted people to be soybean burgers,
and you know, they wanted into all cattle farming. And
there's a cost of that. This is why these elections

(04:24):
are so important, because it's going to impact every aspect
of people's lives. And the New Yorker is going to
find out, I think, and in a year or so
they're going to realize that they really screwed up electing
Ma'm donnie.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Oh my gosh, that's going to be it's a nightmare.
And if that's the trend around our country and these
you know, woke cities, I mean we're already seeing in
some pockets around the country, you know they were. I
think Mandanni was not the only Muslim that was elected
on that date. I think there were forty two other
government people elected from you know, state and local municipalities

(05:02):
all the way down to councils and things like that.
So yeah, there's a wave across this contrary. Now we
better wake up and keep an eye on it, because
the islam Nation wants to own the world and that's
their goal, and they don't give two rips about the
United States. And I think here's another thing. You know,
I love Jim Jordan's introduction of the bill where he says,
you got to be born at US citizen to serve
in Congress. You've got to be born US citizen to

(05:25):
be the president of the United States. So why not
make it to the House and Senate. Would you vote
with Jim Jordan on that if if it comes to
be I.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Haven't seen that bill introduce that.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
It was a couple of weeks ago, Mackenzie, you and
I were talking about this that Jim Jordan said, you know,
he may be contemplating doing it. I don't know if
he's actually presented yet, but he brought it up. You
know that, you know, we should be looking at being
a US born citizen to be in our US Congress
because right now, you know, we've got some people in
there that are not America first, And I think you know,

(06:00):
if we continue to allow this, you know, it's going
to be trouble for US.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
I mean it's already starting to be a problem.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Well, i'd have to look at that. I mean Alexander
Hamilton wasn't born in the US, he was born in
the Bahamas.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Well that was then, this is now.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Yeah, we would have to I think what's the bigger
issue is not where you're born, it's what you believe. Well,
and we've got people who were born here in this
country that are socialist slash Marxists that I think are
more problematic than some of the people I served with
one SISCMANI who was born in Mexico, and he's as

(06:38):
patriotic as anybody I've ever been around.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Yeah, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
But I know people who were born in this country
who who were you know, Elizabeth born, people like that,
Bernie Sanders, I can go. I got a long list
of American born people that are nuts.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Well, let's put that in the bill too. If you're not,
you can't run for office or be elected. All right,
your definition of nuts though? Okay, Gary, yesterday, the Crown
Prince Saudi Arabia was at the White House, and a
number of things we're discussed, as far as US now
selling these big airplanes that he wants to be able
to protect his country. They got so much money, but
they just don't have the technology to build their own.

(07:19):
So that deal was cut. And there's been some a
lot of discussions on rare earth minerals and our reliance
on China so much that we're just starting to go
other places cut deals.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
And I think something happened yesterday.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
With that, right Yeah, I've chaired the Subcommittee Own Environment
and I'm the point man really in Congress for securing
our supply chain. Yesterday it was announced that Saudi Arabia
has entered into a joint venture with MPY Materials to
build a refinery. And I've said this before, there's not

(07:55):
a single major refinery for rare filements in the Western hemisphere. JT.
I said there wasn't one in the United States. I'd
be problematic enough, but there's not one in the Western hemisphere.
And there's only one that's not in China eight or
in China. One's in Malaysia, and that's an Australian company
called Linus. We could have we entered into an agreement
with them worth about nine point five billion dollars about

(08:19):
three weeks ago. A month ago. I was at the
White House couple of days after his announce So we're
being very aggressive and securing our supply chain. And you know,
China agreed to not embargo the export of rareth elements
for a year. And I think they did that thinking
we'd back off and think, well, we'll negotiate another year.

(08:40):
But the comp administration is not taking its foot off
the gas in this regard. This is a top priority.
It's the twenty twenties version of the nineteen sixties Space race.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Well, I got to tell you, if we get this
and take that away from China, it's one step away from,
you know, decoupling our relationship with China. And you look
around just the room you're in probably right now, Gary,
and how many things you know, either are completely or
parts of come from China, made in China. It's like,
you know, our twin brother with us, you know, and

(09:13):
things we import and yeah, it's crazy how coupled we
are with them. But I'm glad to hear that. So
let's talk about the big vote that came down yesterday.
Did everybody in the House vote on this? Did you
cast a vote as well? I think there was only
one person right that did not vote in the direction
of releasing them. Why do you think that one person?
Who was that one person, if you know, and why

(09:34):
did they not vote?

Speaker 3 (09:36):
Yeah? Why why did he vote the other way?

Speaker 2 (09:39):
I haven't asked him that. There were some concerns about
how the resolution was written, how the discharge sis was written,
and one of the problems, and this may have been
as you know, Clay is a rock hard conservative, is
former law enforcement town of sheriff from Louisiana. But they

(10:00):
cided the wrong section to protect children who've been sexually abused,
the child sexual abuse materials are protected from being released,
and they sided the wrong section. So there's some concern
among people that this could wind up allowing some really

(10:25):
bad stuff we released and revictimize some people that have
absolutely nothing to do with Epstein.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
Well, I don't think that anything that has to do
with the miners' names or outing them should be even
considered being brought out, and they better be careful in
doing that if you do that. It's horrific to bring
minors and expose them from the hell they've already been
through to have to relive something like that, Like you said,
but with the release of this, you know, President Trump,

(10:57):
everybody's coming after him because of you know, oh yeah,
he was involved and you know that.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
But here's the deal.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
If he was involved in there was something damning the
Democrats had it with Joe Biden's administration, they would have
released it during the campaign one hundred percent if they
had something. So do you think you think do you
think that this does more harm for our country or good?
I know, the salacious nature of this whole story makes
it front and center and headline news, But once and

(11:25):
for all, when it is released, first of all, there's
going to be a lot of redacted stuff. Secondly, what
is released, you know, are people going to go, Okay,
well fine, let's move on.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
I mean, what's what's the end goal here? To nail Trump?

Speaker 1 (11:37):
I think is what they're trying to do and whole
people accountable as far as these girls are concerned. But
I also think there's something deeper and darker in this
whole thing. I think the Epstein thing. You know, people
say we're in a big the biggest blackmailing scan scan
all around the globe. Ever, there were cameras everhere, and
he had everything on everybody as far as film goes,
and and and having the good on people that if

(12:00):
you don't do this or that, then you know, we'll
expose you. So I don't know if we're ever going
to find out truly exactly what happened.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Well, I think from the Democratic perspective, their only reason
for this is Trump. They're obsessed with Trump everything that
they do. And we'll have a markup today on interview bills,
and at some point they're going to attack Trump. It's
a psychological issue with them now. He is so badly

(12:30):
in their head. I even think the whole shutdown they
tried to make that about Trump. I think they saw
the progress we were making repass the one big beautiful
bill working Families, tax cut, whatever you want to call
the bill now, and they saw that we were actually
getting things done, we were doing what we said we'd do,
and they shut us down to kill our momentum and

(12:51):
to compress our schedule. But it's all about Trump.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
Oh, it always is.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
It always is, So there's no doubt you and I
will talk more about this, you know, through the next
weeks and months, to come on the Epstein files because
it's likely they will be released and likely we're not
going to see everything and likely more.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
You know, thought on well.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
The redacted parts that's clearly about Donald Trump, it may
not be or may not may be, but if it's redacted,
you know, these Democrats are going to jump to conclusions
and redact things I think to just make it look
like Trump's part of the redaction and the President made
this happen, you know, the whole I don't believe any
of it. You know, what we're about to hear and
talk about in the weeks and months to come on

(13:31):
this Epstein file is going to be completely clean, completely
one hundred percent truth and going to get to the
bottom line on everything that's involved with Jeffrey Epstein.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
I just don't see that never happening. Well, Gary, thank you, buddy.
Go ahead.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
Well, some of the stuff that the Democrats released that
were redacted, they redacted it. It wasn't redacted in the
original file, so they redacted it and make it look
like it got it involved Trump and even CNN called
them out on that. So you'll better be prepared for
the lives that are going to be coming out of this.
This is yeah again, it's a psychological issue with.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
Them, all things discussing.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
I hope we put it behind us and move on
and get back to the business of the country for
the American people. Say all right, Gary, thank you so much, buddy,
always good to chat with you.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
