Speaker 1 (00:00):
Boy, I'll tell you the Democrats losing their eleven minds.
They will just grab it at anything to get upset
about what's going on with Donald Trump. If Donald Trump sneezes,
did you see how he sneezed, my god, it's going
to send a bad message to everybody. You shouldn't sneeze
like that. I mean, it's just outrageous. The Trump derangement
syndromeme going on, and now the East wing of the
White House. They're losing their minds on this, like it's

(00:22):
how dare he even think about doing this is horrible.
It's not his house, It's the people's house. Hillary Clinton says,
calm down, Hillary, Can we just take a look at
some other things that have happened to the White House before.
Back in the early nineteen hundred's Teddy Roosevelt to built
the West Wing with new offices in a cabinet room.

(00:43):
In nineteen forty eight, Truman out of the south portico balcony,
now a White House icon. Truman adds a bowling alley
and gutted the White House by putting that in there.
Gerald Ford installed an outdoor swimming pool. Obama adapted a
tennis court so it could also be used for basketball.

(01:03):
So to think that this is unprecedented where there's just
going out to the White House. It's just hilarious to
watch these democrats lose their ever love in mind on
all of this here. And I got to tell you.
Senator Josh Holly reminded these libs on Wednesday how many

(01:25):
of them wanted historical artifacts destroyed. Remember that, listen, But
just how fruiting the this is an iconic building.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
I will just say this. I made this point yesterday
that I hear all of a sudden from my liberal
friends that they're very concerned about our history. Really, these
are the same people who tore down every statue they
could get their hands on in the last four years,
Christopher Columbus, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt. They didn't have any
concern for history. Then now all of a sudden, I
go the facade of the East Wing is iconic. Oh,

(01:55):
give me a break, I mean, give me a break.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Representative Steve Scalise also depending it in Trump's renovation of
the White House. Listen.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Previous presidents added the Oval office. The West Wing itself
was an add on to the original building, and nobody's
complaining about that. And look at what Trump is adding on.
He's adding on a ballroom for things like state dinners.
I've been to state dinners before under presidents going back
to President Obama, President Trump, President Biden. And when you
go to a state dinner, this is when a president

(02:24):
or a prime minister from one of our great allies
around the world comes to Washington and you hold a
grand event for them. It's done outside the White House
in a tent right now. That's how it gets done
because there's not enough room in the White House to
host that event. So imagine the head of a some
maybe foreign country. They're coming from a presidential palace in
their country, and they come to the grand White House

(02:45):
and they walk outside in the rain and go to
a tent. That's what President Trump is renovating, adding a ballroom.
That's going to be a grand place that only for
maybe two years he gets to enjoy. But every president
after President Trump will be able to enjoy and post
events appropriately in this new ballroom.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Everybody just calmed down, Okay, this is going to be beautiful.
It's going to be great. Tons of people who use that.
The next presidents will have access obviously, And this is
an addition in an add on to improve the White House.
He's not turning it into some kind of Teaki hut
with you know, margarita service at the back. I mean,
this is a renovation and an upgrade on something that's

(03:27):
just too small right now to accommodate what's going on.
And to watch these Democrats list their mind over this
is just just mind boggling. It's hilarious.
