Speaker 1 (00:00):
I don't know if you've been following this story John
out of Cincinnati with a beatdown that took place at
a club. This was just awful. Of course, at three
o'clock in the morning, you're outside of a club and
alcohol is involved, and all of a sudden there's a
big marlay what's the word in melee?

Speaker 2 (00:15):
By the way, nothing good happens after midnight.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
No, I mean, Grandma was right, I mean, what are
you doing at three o'clock in the morning. You're drunk
and you come outside and next thing you know, something
has said to somebody, and all of a sudden, somebody's
pushing somebody, and now you've got a mob basically attacking people.
And the woman that has really come to a front
and center in this whole situation is a woman named Holly,

(00:38):
who I mean clearly looking at her physical damage from
getting beat up so bad, she's lucky to be alive.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
By the way, Holly doesn't want her last name used
because he's already facing death threats from people community.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Well, you know what really bothered me to was a
city council woman in Cincinnati basically came out and said, look,
you know, I stand behind what I said, and I said,
you know they had it coming, which means, you know, look,
you shouldn't be making racial slurs.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
That's alleged.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
That's alleged, I understand, but obviously something happened to trigger somebody.
You got upset and start fighting. I'm not backing up
the people that did the you know, the the beat
down at all. You know, but when somebody says something
to you that doesn't just mean all of a sudden,
you know, oh it's on.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
I thought I heard you say such and such.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
So I get to, yeah, somebody in the face and
kick you in the head.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
And if you try and stop me, then I'm going
to kick you and punch you. She said that she
saw him kicked like a football by this one guy.
She said, like a high kicker kicking a football through
the uprights. That how it was, how hard they were
kicking him in the head.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Well, here's Holly. She's now recovered from some of this
for the most part, but her kids are traumatized by it.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
She doesn't look that recovered. You see the pictures.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
I've seen her. She's still swollen eyes, black, bruised face.
She says they acted like dogs.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Went and celebrated a birthday and then when we were
outside waiting for Uber, unfortunately, some criminals or bugs or
you know, whatever you want to call them decided that
they wanted to beat us down and just have their
way with us in the street. So you know, I

(02:21):
just tried to break it up with the people that
were there, and you know that's when I got knocked out,
I got attacked whatever you want to say.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Yeah, she was unconscious on the ground and they're attacking her.
And now in the media because the language she's using,
how dare you call dogs?

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Well, look, you you act like animals and just start
beating somebody on the street. I mean, you need to
be called out about that. Okay, don't I don't care
what said. You know, you don't kick people in the face,
in the head, no matter what sticks and stones, let
me you know, right.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
And it was a whole mob.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Yeah, and they didn't stop, and tons of them. We're filming.
You hear him in the background. Oh well look at that.
Let me get my let me get my TikTok video. Okay, okay,
back up, I got to zoom in here. You know
that nonsense too is out of control. Here she is
talking about why she got involved. She wasn't one of
the original ones they were beating on. She tried to
break it up.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Listen, everybody's standing there, just videoing, and no one called
nine to one one, no one's helping. So you know,
I felt it necessary to at least jump in and
try and help save this man's life. In my opinion,
I felt like I was saving his life. I looked
like they were about to kill him to me, So

(03:39):
that's why I couldn't stand there and do nothing.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Well, they've got a lot of people in cuts it,
you know, lots of arrest of been made. I'm not
sure they've gotten the final one yet. I think they
were looking for another one. But yeah, the kids are
traumatized by the people that have them. She says her
daughter needs therapy through this. She relives a moment every time,
you know, she wakes up and she's I mean, it's

(04:03):
a horrible thing they went through. I hope they'se locked
these people up, you know, big time.
