Speaker 1 (00:00):
Boy, I tell you, the House members in DC have
been up all night long and it's a done deal
all except for the final signature, and then headed to
the President's desk. Speaking of Fox News last night late
earlier this morning, really Speaker Johnson who fell asleep by
the way SETI talked to three of the Republican no

(00:20):
votes on this thing.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Well, I have spoken to all of them, and well
at three of the four. I'm trying to find u
fortun one. But a couple of those are still waiting
for some of those questions to be answered, and they're
just sort of putting placeholders on the board. And you know,
I think they're open for conversation. Everybody's here in good faith.
Everybody wants to get to yes. Everybody wants to deliver

(00:43):
this agenda for the people, and we're going to give
them every opportunity to do that.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
All right, joining us now for the update on this
and how things went.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Mike hot was a House GOP you know, strategist as
well Frontline Strategies President of Digital Strategy and Operations and
former Trump campaign social media director.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Mike Morning, Welcome in, Thanks for being.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
Here, Thanks for having me, Good morning, well.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Happy forth in July weekend.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
I was just talking with somebody else earlier this morning
on how patriotic it kind of feels this year with
what's been going on with our president who ran on
promises and is getting so many good things done in
this short period of time, and here we go with
this big, beautiful bill. It's not perfect, but I tell
you it's a lot better than worse, despite where the
Democrats are spewing. Your thoughts on getting this thing done

(01:27):
before the July fourth.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
Holiday, Yeah, I mean kudos really to Speaker Johnson and
Leader through There was a lot of skepticism on whether
or not this would actually get done in time, and
it did, so I believe both those gentlemen deserve a
lot of the credit.

Speaker 5 (01:43):
So, look, like you said, is the bill perfect?

Speaker 4 (01:45):
No, of course not, but it delivers on many of
the President's campaign promises, especially when it comes to no
tax on tips, no tax on overtime. It secures the border,
and it ends all of the energy lunacy that was
taking in place out of the Biden administration. It's spearheaded
by AOC.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
I got to tell you, the four years of the
Biden administration's lacked to enforce federal laws when it comes
to immigration. Our border situation just an open door for
the hot mess that we're in. And you know, once
that toothpaste is out of the tube, it's going to
take decades to write the ship. When it comes to
how many illegals are in this country and how many
bad guys got away here. I mean we're talking about,

(02:25):
you know, terrorist people that could be linked to all
kinds of g hot activity, not to mention people stealing
intellectual property. It's just we are we're sitting ducks a
little bit, and the warnings are starting to come, not
just from our people be secure and be aware, but
you know, the hierarchy there in Iran and the Iola's
they're all saying, well, look, you know you're going to

(02:45):
get it. It's coming, so just know it. I mean,
how does that make you feel?

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Yeah, you brought up I ran and we was just
going to bring it up that the fact that we
couldn't even feel safe after we hit their nuclear facilities
because we're unsure of how many sleeper sales are in
the United States that came in under President Biden is
a terrible feeling. And folks like Mayorcis and the Vice
President Harris and President Biden, they may to be held

(03:12):
responsible for that if something goes on in America where
a terrorist sleeper.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
Self came in on their watch. So it's a terrible
feeling that America can't use all of its might and
feel confident that nothing's don't happen to it because of
incompetent leadership over.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
The last four years in Biden administration.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Yeah, what do you get your thoughts on how the
president has been doing so well and getting so many
things done in such a short period of time versus
what's going on on the left. And it seems by
an example of this guy that got elected to be
the Democratic nominee for the new mayor of New York City,
I mean he makes Ronald you know, AOC look like
Ronald Reagan. The Democrats still don't seem to read the room. Well,

(03:54):
they're not getting the point that America want to change
in the direction we were going in. They're doubling down.
You see Hakeem Jefferies, you see Schumer, you see you
know Elizabeth Warren, and they're all still spewing the same
old negative rhetoric and it's all about hate Donald Trump,
no matter what. And then they attack this big, beautiful
bill saying basically lying that oh that's it, Medicaid's over.

(04:18):
People will die, children will starve. I mean the picture
they continue to paint, I'm not sure it's ringing with
anybody except those people that are really blue and never
going to vote for anybody, but Lou.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
Yeah, I'm coming to actually thirty miles south of New
York City right now, so I'm in New Jersey, which
is also a blue haven. But even folks in this
date are worried about a potential mayor man Donnie, because
we know we're going to have to deal with the
consequences of people leaving New York City under this guy.
So yeah, I mean, people are attracted to charismatic leaders.

(04:53):
The guy is insane, but he's a charismatic guy, and
that's the type of stuff that resonates these people. Don't
actually looking to his policies at all. What I will
say is that he is at least upfront about who
he is. He calls himself a democratic socialist, he calls
himself a communist. He refuses to say anything positive about
the Jewish community. So shame on these people that vote

(05:16):
for him. Especially when he's so front about his policies
and the type of mayor he's going to be.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Well, they turnout on these elections are pretty low in
New York City traditionally speaking, but hopefully now the fact
that he's so anti Semitic all the time and pro
Palestinian and pushing you know, in Fada, I mean, it's
just crazy if we don't get big turnout in New
York City.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
I agree with you.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
I think the city's going to be worse oft than
it's been, you know, in a long time. And you're right,
a lot of people are fleeing that place, like you know,
in droves, and it will just increase. So voter turnouts
got to be huge, especially you know, with the New
York being the biggest Jewish community in the country. Everybody's
got to get out and vote and vote against this guy.
And I get most Jewish Americans Democrat and have for

(06:01):
quite some time. But in this case in New York,
if you're living there and you're pushing this agenda through,
I mean, look what Minneapolis has got going on there.
They're now got loud speakers calling for you know, Islamic
prayer in the streets and first city in America to
do this, and I'm going to imagine New York's probably
right on the heels.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
Yeah. I mean, look, I have a lot of family
in New York and they're fully coming to terms with
the fact that they're going to have to vote for
either Eric Adams or a former governor Cromo for mayor,
which paying them because they are very staunch Republicans. But
this issue of whether or not this guy gets in
as mayor is so beyond the party lines that it's

(06:43):
just it's a moral thing. At this point. This guy
cannot hold any power, and you have to pick the
lesser of the two evils here.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Yeah, one hundred percent. Well, I really appreciate your insight
this morning. Thank you so much. Mike con gop strategist,
former Trump campaign social media director. In the direction that
they're headed there in New York City, d too ugly
