Speaker 1 (00:00):
Yesterday, our Homeland Security Christy Nome was defending President Trump's
immigration policies after a New York Congressman Andrew Gabriana or
Garba r R And whatever his name is, ask her,
what's DHS's biggest concerns?
Speaker 2 (00:14):
This is this is about worldwide threats. Can you discuss
what DHS's most significant concerns are today for the country.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
I would say, mister Chairman, what keeps me up at
night is that we don't necessarily know all of the
people that are in this country, who they are and
what their intentions are. And that is why we are
so aggressive at making sure that we're going out and
doing investigative work finding those violent criminals, finding those people
who shouldn't be in this country to begin with, and
those that want to go after into harm our American citizens.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
Joining to not talk a little bit more about what
happened yesterday, our correspondent Royal Neil peeling back some of
the layers on this one. Welcome in and Roy good morning.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Hey, they're JT. Good morning.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
So it was a nice little event back and forth,
and I thought she handled herself quite well. She did
leave early though she was expected to be there a
little bit longer, but took off early.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Yeah, she left early to go to a meeting where
they were supposed to be announcing the overhaul of FEMA,
but then that meeting got canceled. So there's some questions
about whether she just ditched, or whether she knew that
the or hadn't known about the FEMA cancelation. Either way,
there was a lot of performance on there, right. The
Democrats were all trying to get on with the Rachel
Mattow last night, the Republicans all trying to get on
(01:25):
with Sean Hannity as there, trying to be SoundBite machines
back and forth on their different sides. But I thought
it was interesting we almost didn't get the same answer
we heard. You just played the clip of what Secretary
Noan thinks the greatest concerns are. The person representing the
FBI said it was Antifa. Another counter terrorism expert said
(01:46):
it was immigration was the top security threat. So a
couple of different answers there from that team.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Well, I think it's all true. I think Antifa is
a major threat to this country, that's for sure. And yeah,
I agree that immigrations major problem. Effect National counter Terrorism
Center Director Joe Kent said that the Biden administration has
let eighteen thousand suspected terrorists into this country.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
Listen, so far, NCTC has identified around eighteen thousand known
and suspected terrorists that the Biden administration let come into
our country. These are individuals who, under normal circumstances, would
never be allowed to enter our country because of their
ties to Gihati groups like ISIS and al Qaeda. Yet
the Biden administration not only let them into the country
(02:30):
and in many cases facilitated their entry into the country.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Well, I got to tell you, there are a lot
of people here. We have no idea what they're up
to or what their intentions are.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Right, And as you heard the Secretary say, that's the
sort of security scenario that keeps her up at night.
It's difficult to even get that number of people we're
talking about. You know, they kept on saying, is it
between ten million and fifteen million. That's a big gap, right,
That's that's five million people. So you know, we don't
(03:01):
really know the situation, and that's the scary part of it.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Well, and the threats towards ice and doxing up over
thousand percent as far as the pushback on this and
the threats against the law enforcement agencies in our country,
So that kind of craps got to stop. We've got
to get back to the law and order in this country.
And if that means some people got to go, some
people got to go. That's all there is to it. Roy,
Thank you, buddy. You have a good weekend. We'll chat Monday.
