Speaker 1 (00:00):
Jeff Manasso or Fox correspondent, following what's happening with the
crime and the latest Now in what city could be
next when it comes to President Trump's safety blitz with
the troops and whatnot. Jeff, welcome in, Thanks for being here.
Hey Jat Well, apparently now I see this this morning
the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals decision affects Oregon's National Guard.
(00:22):
They came in and said, no, no, no, the President does
have the right to sense some National Guard to Portland.
But the deal is, yeah, it's only going to be
Portland's National Guard. No other states are allowed to come in.
That ban remains in place. But now it looks like
San Francisco is in the crosshres for some safety cleanup.
What's going on?
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Yeah, the President has been talking about sending federal law
enforcement along with the National Guardian to two cities like
San Francisco for weeks, adding it to the growing list
of others in an effort to crack down on a
illegal immigration and be crime. But detail Fox Business on
Sunday that we're going to San Francisco. Those are his words.
He says that you know he's wanted, calling it one
of the one of the the once truly great cities
(01:05):
of the world, that that what went woke and went
wrong fifteen years ago, that we're going to make it great.
He also says that every American deserves to live in
a community where they're not afraid of being monk murdered,
rob rape, assaulted, or shot, to which California Governor Democrat
gavinus and mon Cue said, no one wants you here.
You will ruin one of America's greatest cities. To expect
(01:27):
legal challenges to to commence. Uh if if federal law
enforcement and or the National Guard steps foot in San Francisco. Yes,
the National the the the Ninth Circuit did approve of Portland,
though you know, you know legal expert, well, you're starting
(01:49):
to see write ups and and and people talking on
you know, uh pundits saying, well, you know this, this
ruin is highly tailored to Portland, where federal buildings haven't
shut down because of the violence, whereas Chicago are not
shut down. And you've got the Seventh Circuit of Chicago
essentially siding with a lower court judge that yeah, the
(02:13):
National Guard will stand down. They don't necessarily have to
go home to Texas, but they need to stand down
for now. A lot it's in plays out, so who
knows it might be similar, But again it goes back
to the Ninth Circuit in if if San Francisco decides
to fight it, and we'll see.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
Well, Gavin Newsome, I mean, he's out of his mind.
He says, you're not wanted here where you're going to
ruin one of our most beautiful cities in America. Gavin,
have you been to San Francisco lately? Are you aware
of how down it's gone? Downhill it's gone. I mean,
the homeless encampments, the people that are leaving the area,
they're the businesses that have shuttered. It's just San Francisco
(02:54):
is not what it used to be. And it's because
of the policies run by once again democratic leadership states
and cities where they are running the ship. Things are disastrous.
What's boggling to me is just common sense in this
whole thing. Democrat, Republican, independent, whatever you are politically, how
can you not as a human being, jump on board
(03:15):
with the plan to make our cities safer than they
have been. If you've got riots going on protesting ice
to do their job and getting violent. And by the way,
it's all the left that's to getting all violent about
what's going on to clean things up. Then you've lost
your mind. So you're what you're saying is we would
(03:35):
rather have the crime in the streets. And I guess
in Chicago and in Illinois they get about eight hundred
and fifty million dollars a year to fight crime from
the FED. And if that, you know, gets cleaned up,
I guess you won't need all that money to fight
crime because the president's done so. Well, oh, you're taking
money away from us. Well, well, we do other things
with that money. What do you do with it? Well,
that's none of your business. It's there's follow the money.
(03:58):
So the whole thing about push back on President Trump
with his cleaning up of crime is ridiculous, ludicrous and
out of control. And Gavin Knewsom, oh my gosh, I'm
telling you what this bids well for us come election season.
Keep it up if that's what you want. But most
of America does not want this, including in those cities
where the Democrats are running them. Most of your people,
I don't understand why they continue to vote you in,
(04:19):
but most people want safety in their neighborhoods, not crazy
crime going on,
