you're on Alabama's morning news. What's going on?

Good morning? I was wanting to know if you knew
what source Gavin Newsom was citing when he told Tuberville
Alabama had the third highest homicide right in America.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
All right, let me yeah explain that to you. They're
both right.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Tuberville said, that's funny. Uh you know the funny math
they teach out there in California. Uh, they have more
people that they find dead for murders on the streets
in California in one month than we have in a
year in Alabama. That is true in twenty twenty two,
twenty three hundred and four. Uh you know, I guess

three times did that per capita thing? It is? It
is there are more people dead in California because of
you know, the crime murders, but per capita it boils
down to in Alabama has a higher homicide rate per
capita at fourteen point nine per one hundred thousand people
compared to California's five point nine per one hundred thousand people.

But California's got a population to thirty nine million people,
Alabama's five million people. California had twenty three hundred and four.
I think that year at Alabama, you know, seven hundred
and six. But when you look at it percentage wise
per capita, yeah, so yes, they're both right. But the

bottom line is that is kind of a moot point
when it comes to what exactly is going on in
Los Angeles, California. Give natorial candidate Sheriff Chad Bianco talking
about this whole situation and the reality of these protests.

Here, the politicians, California politicians, the mayor of Los Angeles,
our governor have completely failed in that nothing was happening
in the beginning. It was allowed to spiral out of control,
and then they have created this narrative that completely defies
facts and a timeline that we know happened. And this

is they keep calling it a peaceful protest, mostly peaceful,
whatever they want to call it, But the reality is
is that law enforcement officers are being attacked, property is
being destroyed, and it is out of control violence that
really they're trying to deny for political gain.

You know, when you see Gavin knwsome talking about all this,
it appears that he's more concerned with hair products and
running for president in twenty twenty eight then he is
protecting the citizens of his country and to blow this
off as if it's just another big celebration, like you know,
a entertainment sporting event that would bring a championship to
the city. So, yeah, people are going to go to
the streets and start distructing it. That's not what this

is about at all. And so even if that is
the case, what just let people set cars on fire
and throw bricks through car windows, and I mean, something
terrible is going to happen. Somebody's gonna end up dead
in all of this. And if the governor and the
mayor are acting too slow on all of this, then
something's got to be done to protect the majority of
good citizens in the city of Los Angeles. Riverside Sheriff

they're in California slamming these politicians.

Absolutely appalled that we are at this point in society
where people come out and think that this is okay,
And then It makes it one hundred times worse when
you have politicians that are encouraging it, that are not
calling it what it is, which is criminal activity, the
lying to all of us, lying to the media, and

(03:42):
purposely using the word peaceful while maybe they should look
at their phones or their TVs. Because I have law
enforcement officers that are being shot at, that are being injured,
that are being hurt, vehicles being damaged, things being burned,
and they're calling it peaceful. It is a disgusting display
of partisan politics.

How do you call something like what's happening in Los
Angeles peaceful? We see the videos. I mean, the National
Guard had to come in. Local law enforcement wasn't able
to handle it, and actually the sheriff of Los Angeles County,
you know, is overwhelmed and kind of welcomed it. It's
the politicians that are jumping out there, the mayor and

you know Newsom, who democracies at hand here. Yeah, it
is because the majority of the country voted for this
to calm down, to stop the illegal behavior, whether it's
immigration or violent crime in cities. America is sick of it,
and apparently Newsome and the mayor there are all about

letting people just get out there and do it. Oh,
it's just a celebration of a big championship game for
the city, Not so much.
