I McKenzie, it's just amazing how these thieves pulled this

thing off there at the louver. What if this ends
up being like some sort of three women in ninja
suits and masks that you know, we're just incredibly artistic
and crafty about how they planned this whole thing, And
there's going to be a movie about this at some point.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Well, when you think about it, think about movies that
you watch and people, it seems so seamless when they
carry out things like this, and think that that would
never happen in real life. You know, they would really
never get away with.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
That, right. Ocean's Eleven is just a movie.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Well, right, look at what happened a mere two days ago.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
It was the one of the I think the crown,
one of the actual crowns. Yeah, they dropped it and
in recovery and they've got that back. But the other
stuff we may never see it again.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
No, And you know, one of my questions is if
these people are caught and whether they sell them whatever.
You know, Yeah, what kind of jail time are they
serving in France?

Speaker 1 (00:54):
It's a good question for that. I don't know, Grand thuff.
In this country you get twenty years or maybe even more.
I'm not sure what this is in France though on
something like that.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Well, the historical significance too, Yeah, that ramps it up
a notch.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Yeah, but I think after a certain point, whether it's
you know, if it's I don't know what makes grand
theft more than ten thousand dollars more than a hundred
I'm not sure where the line is on that. But
this is if you put a price on these thousands
of diamonds and emeralds and goals, I mean we're talking
hundreds of millions of dollars, so they may throw the
book at them and put them in prison for you know,

Who I don't know, that's a good question.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
I mean, if something's deemed priceless, that's why I'm lost
for words on you know what, Yeah, kind of jill
time do userve for this?

Speaker 1 (01:36):
There's got to be some videos somewhere of them taking
off down the street and the scooters and you know,
unless they're so lax in France and they don't have
these cameras all over the you know, holes in the
streets and the lights and intersections and things like that,
but I got to think they've got cameras around cities
like that.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Well, you would have thought that they had cameras at
the freaking Louve too, I mean, but apparently they didn't.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Apparently there's parts of the lieu of the building next
to it are part of the structure of the building.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
There three areas. Does they don't even have cameras.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
That's bizarre to me. And you know what's even more
bizarre is and all these news outlets being like, by
the way, no cameras Rain, I mean, I've.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Got more security at my house than the lou has.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
It's you know, it's not even a ring camera in there.
