Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, she's back. Since she lost the election, Kamala Harris
has been kind of hiding in the background. But last
night's in one of the biggest liberal cities in America,
San Francisco. Okay, this will be a safe territory for me.
I'll come out and speak. But come here, Kama, can
you stick to the prompter? I mean, we don't need
word salad tonight. So did she come attacking the president?

(00:21):
What do you think?

Speaker 2 (00:22):
The American people deserve leaders who make their lives better.
But sadly, we have seen quite the opposite over these
past few months. Instead of an administration working to advance

(00:43):
America's highest ideals, we are witnessing the whole sale abandonment
of those ideals.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Ah all right, let's take a look here and peel
back some money in layers here. Jackie Colbyuth joins us
now vice president strategy and Communications at Five Point Strategy. Jackie,
welcome in. Thank you so much for being with me.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Thanks for having me.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
JG. You know, once again here we are with no
self awareness. Read the room. You never want a primary,
you were never elected, You lost big time. The country
was not in favor of the direction we were going
with you in Sleepy Joe, and yet you come out
here and attack the man that was overwhelmingly elected president.
It seems they just don't get it. Their tone deaf

(01:31):
and double down and double down and double down.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
JG. You nailed it. It's almost quadrupling down on stupid
at this point, which from a strategic standpoint on the
Republican side, I want Kamala to beginning speeches every day
and you can stay in your bastion in home team
in San Francisco. But I watched that speech. It was

(01:57):
less than seventeen minutes, and I ran a ranch dressing
for the word salad of platitudes that she re emerged with.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Jackie. I got to tell you, she's speaking clearly to
the Rachel Maddow audience, and that's about it is anybody
in the Democratic Party going, you know what, Now she's
starting to make sense. I think I'll come back. I've
seen more Democrats leave a party than I have Republicans
leave a party in my entire life in the last year.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
As well, JT. And I'm well into my forties because
of the viewers contact in my lifetime, which is good.
At this point, she is somebody you should put in
if you want to start hemorrhaging voters. For instance, look
at female votes. Okay, did she get more than the
Republicans and Trump did? Okay, fine, But when you're looking

(02:51):
at it apples to apples. She lost female Latinos. Okay,
she lost. She's the law. She came out lower amongst
African American women. She by all Democratic standards. As the
woman is. It literally has driven people from her party.

(03:13):
She has not grown it, she has shrunk it.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Well, you know she is really I think weighing in
whether or not she will continue her political career because
I don't see any indication or bright spots in her
career that indicates this would be a good move. The
people did not primary her when she became president. She
was appointed and shoved in and the puppet strings were

(03:37):
attached surgically. So I just don't think she is aware
that she has no chance of being elected.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Now.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
This run for governor that keeps popping up here, is
that something that you believe as possible?

Speaker 3 (03:51):
JT. I have the misfortune of being a two time
resident in my life in the state of California, and
when I talk to my family who still lives there, in,
many friends, many relationships I've made out there. People have
said to me, if she runs for governor and if
she gets in, I'll leave the state. And these are

(04:12):
people who stayed through Gavin Newsom.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Yeah, I don't know, and they're.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Saying, well, you know, hey, we'd have to reconsider living
here if this one gets in.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Kamala gets in, well, Kamala, I don't see a future
for her. I'm not really sure the voters, even in
California would vote her in. I think the party's got
some real self examination and therapy to go through even
before the midterms. And they've got the bumper sticker talking
points on the TERRORFF situation right now that they will
continue to abuse even if it's false narrative. But I

(04:44):
really think that they are in a big predicament. Like
you said, as Republicans, we love it. Keep bringing her
out AOC potential presidential candidate in twenty twenty eight. Oh,
please run her, Please run her well. I love chatting
with you, Jackie Colebeth the VPS stategy and communications there
at Five Point Strategy. We will have you back, Jackie,
Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Thanks d Taker
