President Trump confirms CIA operations in Venezuela

Yeah. Yesterday, interesting, President Trump did confirm that he has
authorized the CIA to take out you know, or take
action I should say easy, take action in Venezuela. Kind
of an unusual move since President's rarely talked publicly about
CIA operations. That's usually whoa easy. Now, let's not be
showing the cards too much here, But it did come

up and he addressed it. I mean, President Trump's not
one to you know, be hiding things that look be transparent. Yeah,
they're a problem, and we're going to go take a
look and see what's going on here. So he was
talking to reporters in the Oval Office yesterday and was
asked if he was considering land strikes on Venezuela.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Well, I don't want to tell you exactly, but we
are certainly looking at land now because we've got to
see very well under control.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
All right. So you know the guy that's running that country, yeah,
you know, not that good of a guy. So here's
an interesting question. A reporter asked about the leader of Venezuela.
Does the CIA have authority to take out Duro?

Oh? I don't want to answer a question like that.
That's a ridiculous ques should for me to be given
not really a ridiculous question. But wouldn't it be a
ridiculous question for me to answer? But I think Venezuela
is feeling heat, but I think a lot of other
countries are feeling heat too.

Well, you know, yeah, seriously. Yeah, in fact, we got
to hit out on him right now. We're looking for
about a two pm strike. Is that good enough for you?
I mean, seriously, how about coming up with a question
like that.

It's funny because you would never typically ask the president
a question like that, but with Trump, it doesn't seem
so far fetched.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
Yeah, well, you got a point. I know exactly what
we're saying. You're a reporter that asked that question. He
could be rolling a nice say. Look, Trump will say
some bizarre things. Maybe I'll get him to kind of
admit this. Maybe here, let me just throw it out there.
You're going to take them out. Well, I'll tell you
what we do have. Okay, never mind, I can't talk
about it. I mean, I could see Trump walking up
to it and then backing up. Trump smarter than that,
as you heard there, that's a ridiculous question.
