President Trump revokes Secret Service for Kamala Harris

mentioned that Kamala Harris, her Secret Service detail has been removed.

How you doing doing great? So what do you think
about this? Do you think that's a good move to
save the country money or we're concerned about the former
vice president's safety?

Well, now, this is my personal opinion, and I don't
know the exact rules on the you know where security
stands with you know, former president and vice president. But
let me ask you this, Okay, do you know if
President Obama and other former living presidents have security that's

paid for by the government.

I'm certain yes, okay.

And what about the.

Vice president past vice president? Hey, he probably restricted his
vice president secured it right quick when he didn't go
along with him before.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Well, I was gonna say, well, if you're talking about
Joe Joe Biden, Joe Biden was was Barack Obama's vice president,
So I imagine he still has security because he was
the president. But now I would suspect that that's a
good question. Is change does like people like Dick Cheney
do people like I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna look
this up. That is a great question, Morse, thank you

vice presidents get Secret Service to protection because I know
those protections extend not only to the candidate themselves or
the president themselves, but also to their family members usually
their their wives, their children, their grandchildren, their friends of
their I mean, there's a lot of people that get
Secret Service protection. So I'm going to look that up
and we're going to find out exactly how far does

the Secret Service protection extend. I think Kamalas was already
extended because she was getting it because she was a
candidate for president, But since she's no longer a candidate,
how much longer do you get that? So that's that's
