Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well it passed. They all voted on the Epstein thing
and said, look all right, let's get it going. So
I guess it's on its way now over to the
President's desk. Massey, you know, one of the people that
was involved in this, that there's too many victims to
hide in all of this. Listen, there are a thousand survivors.
They can't open enough investigations to cover up everything that's

(00:23):
in these files. Well, you know, cover up. It depends
on who you're talking about. You're talking about the Democrats,
you know, that are just drawing lines through things that
they don't you know, want out there, because if we
do that, even if it's not serious, everybody's going to assume, well,
that's obviously President Trump. You know, they redacted that because
it implicates Trump. No, and trust me, that's going on there,

(00:46):
and from a very reliable source. In these committee rooms.
They are, I guess, have immunity to discuss and do
whatever in the committee rooms. The Democrats are doing this.
But when you get in there and you start throwing
accusations around about this and that in the committee room,
that's one thing. When you start doing it to the press,
that's a totally different thing and joining us now to
talk a little bit more about the Epstein vote yesterday

(01:07):
where it hits next is Ryan Smells Our corresponding a
live from Capitol Hill this morning. Ryan, good morning, Hey,
come on to JT. Are you good? Where are you
on Air Force one? Sounds like you go in a tonne?

Speaker 2 (01:19):
I'm here?

Speaker 1 (01:21):
Where are you?

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Forgot my badges? I forgot my badge this morning. I
had to run back and now I'm stuck in the tunnel.
You are?

Speaker 1 (01:27):
It's all. Look, so yesterday the vote came down. One
Republican voted against it, but it moves forward now and sorry,
what to imagine sometime very soon it's going to be
signed by the president. My question to you is after
that happens. Okay, now it's released and it's one hundred
percent no redactions, how much redaction is going to go
on release to who do we get to see it online?

(01:50):
I mean, what's going to happen after the President signs it?

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Yeah, Well, there's still supposed to be redactions, maybe not
to the extent or at least my understanding is it
wouldn't be the extent of what the Oversight Committee is
being released so far because that was one of the
criticisms that some have had is that the documents have
been released so far have are so heavily redacted that
it's hard to you know, read what's in there or

(02:15):
even understand the information that's in there. But you know,
Republicant to push back and said that, no, no, this
is going to potentially put sensitive information at risk and
put victims who have not been named at risk of
being identified. And also, you know, like you just said,
so going back to answer your question, a lot of

(02:35):
this is still going to fall in the Department of
Justice to ultimately release these documents. And Marjorie Taylor Green
was saying this yesterday in our floor speech. It's like,
now we watch to see what the FBI does, we
watch to see what the CIA does, we watch to
see what the DOJ does, because you know, a lot
of that's going to fall on them to still comply
with the legislation and release this information.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
So when they decide to do that, and there's some
sense that people in there, obviously the victims, you know,
can they not just redact every victim's name and so
that takes care of that, right, So that's not an issue.
Why not just say that's what we're going to do.
The victims' names will not be released. It be victim one, two, three, whatever,
and move forward there. But you know, I had a

(03:16):
guest on yesterday. I was talking about the fact that
this was much deeper than just you know, guys and
girls having sex with miners. This is a he claims,
one of the biggest, in his opinion, biggest blackmail schemes
that's ever hit the planet. That Epstein had cameras everywhere,
He's got files and footage of everybody that came on there,

(03:38):
and he was running a blackmail scheme around the globe.
I mean, you hear all kinds of conspiracy theories on
all of this, but one thing's for sure, in my mind,
Epstein didn't kill himself. And two, it's deeper and darker
than we even realize. It's like the ending, you know,
the twists and turns of a novel, a murder mystery
novel that, oh my gosh, did not see that coming.

(03:59):
I think there's things going on behind the scenes, and
this whole Epstein thing that is global and just beyond
our imagination of what was really, you know, happening.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Well, Jeffrey epsk was a very powerful individual. I don't
think anyone's questioning that. And he had some very powerful
friends and was connected to some very powerful people. And
that's why I think, you know, the public is one
of these documents released so far as because they believe
there are some powerful people who have been criminally involved
with Epstein that have not faced justice yet. And so, uh,

(04:30):
whether not these documents are going to lead to that
or not, you know, that still remains to be seen.
But it is something that has been fought for and
and that's why you see the victims coming to Capitol
Hill and advocating for this.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
You've seen investigations before in Washington and Capitol Hill in
cases where you know, the Justice Department's digging in, Senators
and congress people dig in and try and find the truth.
Have you ever seen anything this bizarre?

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (04:55):
First of all, and second of all, do you believe
that we'll ever you know, find out exactly what.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Happens the second part of the question. So that's past
my pay grade, But you know, I've never seen anything
probably encapsulate the public like this. You know, this has
just been one of those cases that has just garnered
so much interest from so many different parts of society.
You know, the Internet community was really big on this.

(05:22):
You know, one of the reasons why I think people
are worried about never getting the right answers because you know,
there's so many conspiracy theories around Epstein too. And you know,
when you have so many people that you know are
in with conspiracy theories, you know, some people are just
not going to be satisfied with what they what they
find out no matter what, you know, there there's gonna
be a wing of people that will never be satisfied.

(05:45):
So there, you know, there's just so many different ways
to look at it, But an investigation like this, I
don't think there's been one that has just enthralled the
public to this extent like this.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Yeah, all right, Ryan, thank you, buddy. I appreciate the update.
