Speaker 1 (00:00):
Senator Tommy Tuberville joins us. Now, a lot of things
to talk about. Coach, welcome in, thanks for being here.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Good morning, Jat.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
How are you just fantastic? I know you're you're still
in the circus.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
Hopefully soon you'll be back here running the state of
Alabama is our new governor here.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
But in the meantime, you got work to do up there.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
So I initially want to get your thoughts on the
peace deal that's been cut.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Great news overnight, for sure.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
Yeah, closer, you know, they've been fighting over there for
two thousand years, so what President Trump's done is amazing.
Of course, Biden administration they didn't do anything to help
the President. Trump's taking it.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
He's taking it.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
To heart, and you know, there's a lot of bad
things going on over there. But hopefully we can get
the hostages out, we stopped killing, and we can have
some kind of peace treaty where we can get back
to the United States America first and get our mess
cleaned up here, because we have got a we've got
a bigger mess here that's got over there.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
To be honest with you.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Yeah, things are rough here, that's for sure. I did
want to get your thoughts on the United States usually
as a position where we don't negotiate with terrorists, but
globally we have negotiated with terras and other countries have
made deals. Prisoner swaps are done all the time. But
this one's a little bit out of balance. I mean,
what are we getting maybe forty or fifty hostages released,
including some of the dead, and the Israelis gave up

(01:20):
eighteen hundred prisoners, bad guys for this. The eighteen hundred
to fifty seems to have been in balance. And President Trump says, look,
this was their decision in Israel.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
This is there.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
You know, I'm here to help and negotiate and help
and support Israel. But ultimately, this is net and Yahoo's deal.
To cut your thoughts on.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
That, Yeah, it's Israel's decision, It's the Arab's decision. Saudi's
all the people in the Emorst, all the people that
are kind of overseeing this. Jordan's gotten involved the country, Jordans,
and you know, what do you do? I mean, President
Trump is there to help help, negotiate, help to get

(02:01):
things done. That's not his problem, per se, but he is.
He's thrown his name in the hat. He's done as
much as he can possibly do. Europe has got to
get involved as not just in Israel but also in
Ukraine and Russia conflict. But you know, President Trump, he
and Marco Rubio have done about as much as they

(02:23):
can do. I'd say he's been good in this is
Mike Hugaby, former governor of Arkansas.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
He's been really good in these negotiations.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
We've been debriefed on all of it, and you know,
it's not done yet, and how long would it last?

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Who knows.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
But first thing is to get these hostages out of
these tunnels and these caves and give them some sunlight
and food and get back to real life.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Yeah, the bottom line is a deal has been struck
and it looks like the hostages are coming home. And
it also not only ends that conflict with the hostages,
but also this two year war that's been going on
where a lot of inns and people have been killed,
and that's what happens in wars, and not for the killing.
It it's coming to a close. So thank god for that.
All right, The government is still shut down. The houses

(03:07):
and back you have to send it to. The heels
have been dug in on both sides yesterday, King Jefferies
Mike Lawler got into a couple of House representatives back
and forth. So where are we in this? When does
the House get back? What's the Senate talking about today?
What are you hearing in the hallways? We closer to
getting this thing figured out.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
Yet now we're not getting in closer. We'll vote again today.
We've been in all week and again it's just the
the It's really it's a little bit about healthcare, which
is way blown out of proportional Obamacare has almost put
our healthcare under in this country, and we're trying to

(03:45):
save our healthcare. Obamacare did exactly opposite of what Obama
said it would do.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
It's run out about half.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
Of our independent doctors and hospitals and closed them down,
made the process go sky rocketing over the years. And
the Democrats want to add to that, and we can't
do it. But the main thing is they want they
want one point five tree dollars more into the budget.
We're not doing that, and I whpe President Trump never
gives them to them. He's the one basically negotiating. Now

(04:12):
we're just kind of following his lead.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
But I will not vote for it.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
I'll tell you, no matter what happens, we can't add
We're spending two tree dollars in this budget now, this
CR two tree and more than the American taxpayer sinned already,
and we just can't afford to do that. And they
want to meet a tree and and a half more.
I mean, it's it's it's lunacy. You know, we've lost
our dang minds.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
All right, you say you won't vote for it.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Are you on board with Kentucky Republican Senator Ran Paul
He's the only senator in the Republicans that voted against
this as well.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Are you on his team with that?

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Now? I'm on board with the CR as we speak.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Because if we don't, if we don't continue funding the government,
you know, for the next couple of months, we're going
to be in bad, worse physical shape than are now. Now,
that couple of month months gives us time to get
a budget done, to get our military budget done.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Now, when we get to the point of.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
Deciding, okay, how much are we gon spend the people
of Alabama don't deserve to have to pay for illegals
health care. They don't deserve to have to pay for
Social Security for seven hundred thousand illegals and getting Social
Security that never paid into it. We cannot afford to
do this, and the people of Alabama expect a lot
better from all of us here in Washington, d C.

(05:31):
They deserve it, and the people all over the country
deserve for us to stand up and fight for the
rights of the American taxpayer.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Yeah, the keyword and all that illegals. No, you're not
entitled to government subsidies if you're illegally in this country,
and I agree with you. Continuing our conversation with Senator Tuberville, coach,
I got to ask you about the FBI under Biden's reign,
tapping your phone and snooping around. What the heck was
going on here? You're a US cenator, for the love
my gosh.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Well, you can imagine what they could do to anybody
that's just just an.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
American, hard working taxpayer. You know, they're going to go
after a sitting in the US senator. You know, they
went after my phone laws even before I was a senator,
and basically they had to have a criminal intent to
do that. And another group that I'm really really mad
about is at and t Wine in the world would

(06:23):
they give in to Jack Smith on a subpoena that's
supposed to be about criminal intent, which they have proven nothing.
So we've made a few phone calls at and T
and they don't have a good answer for what they've
done because obviously the people they talked to are all
woke and hated Donald Trump.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
But at the end of the day, this was all about.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
Fishing to get Donald Trump, whether get him unelected or
whether it put him in prison. It's just it's sad
for the country.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
All right.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
So what are the next steps? Is Pam Bondi going
to get involved in this? Is you know, are your
attorneys going to get involved in this? Is there a
lawsuit to be filed? And what would you like to
see happen at the end of all this?

Speaker 2 (07:05):
Yeah, could be a little bit of both. You know.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
The thing right now, Dan Magino brought us in on
Tuesday and told us to new that first we had
heard of it Deputy Director FBI right, a whistle blower
turned them in, okay, and so they told exactly where
to go to look for these files that have never
found them had that whistle blower not come forward. So
there's gonna be a lot of whistle blowers come forward.
Den bon Gino said, listen, we've just touched the tip

(07:29):
of the iceberg here. There's no telling what they DIDs phones,
all the conversation or whatever. We will get to the
bottom of it. So we just started this and again
it just shows you the uh, you know, how corrupt
this group has been over the last four years of
trying to go after just just citizens. People are trying

(07:50):
to do what's best. Myself and seven other other senators,
and I hope people undered a lesson from this, but
you never know.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Well, I got to tell you there's two angles on
this thing. You know, first to the United States government
and you being attacked as a US senator's one position
of you know, let's get to the bottom of this.
But also personally, you've been to famed here, you've been slandered,
and I might recommend to you Kirby Ferris, with Farris,
Riley and Pitt here in Alabama to get after these people.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
Well, you know, I wouldn't look for any anything other
than justice and keep it from happening to other people.
My guy, just Jack Smith, of course, we found out
what he was about. You know he shouldn't get a
job as a dog catcher. Marshall Blackburn and I are
trying to get him disbarred for what he's done. Not
just this, but he did so many unethical things. But

(08:38):
that's what these Democrats are doing now. They think they're
above the law. And folks, whether you're a Democrat or Republican,
you better be an American. And what's what's going on here,
because what they're doing is they're trying to corrupt this
country to the point where they can do anything they think,
where they think that they're above the law.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
All right, Well, let's switch gears here.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
Coach back into Montgomery, the sh shooting that took place
down there, and then I want to get your thoughts
on the troops going to these cities that are kind
of out of control of the first the Montgomery situation.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
Well, Governor Ivey did a great job a couple years
ago when the local police couldn't handle it.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
She's in in the county, the.

Speaker 4 (09:16):
State police, they stopped a lot of it. But I'm
tell you, these blue cities that are controlled by blue mayors.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
They're dying. They're dying all over the country.

Speaker 4 (09:27):
Portland, Dallas, New Orleans, Birmingham, Montgomery, Chicago, New York.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
They're dying and we're losing them. And if if that happened,
this country is in a world of hurt.

Speaker 4 (09:41):
But obviously, either they don't know what they're doing, or
they don't care, or they're corrupt. And if we don't
stop this nonsense, if we don't look forward instead of backwards,
then we've we've got no chances reviving Montgomery. Uh, it
should it's the state capitol. My god, we can not
have shooting on the streets like that. There should have

(10:02):
been more security out there.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
Again, you've got to.

Speaker 4 (10:06):
Give it to the local and state police. But at
the end of the day, if they need to be
protected and backed up when I get there, National Guard
here we come, because we're not going to have that
nonsense on the streets of the city in the state
of Alabama.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
Yeah, one hundred percent agree with you.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
You know, we got to respect law and order back
in this country once again and take care of our people.
Nobody wants this craziness going on, all right. I know
the last time we chatted, you were going to have
a conversation with a president about college football and specifically
nil and the portal situation. So you're you know, where
are we at all of this. I mean, something's got

(10:43):
to happen. It's kind of run a muck.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
In my opinion, that's terrible, and it's gotten worse. I
could tell you things.

Speaker 4 (10:49):
There's contracts that players are not upolling. There's contracts that
schools are not upolling. There's players that are refusing to
play in games that they don't get more money during
the season.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
I mean, it is it's if people really knew what
was going on.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
And again we got more problems up over the country,
and then we're having to worry about about college sports,
which is very important in our country. By the way,
President Trump and I continue to talk, we got a plan,
you know, we got He's got so much on his
plate right now, obviously getting ready to go to Middle
East and try to get that debacle us corrected over there. Then,

(11:28):
as I said earlier, we got to get back to America.
We got to start looking into things going on here
in our cities and in organizations like college sports, because
we're deteriorating, a slow deterioration of what's going on. And
then we've got groups coming in this country trying to
destroy us, and it's just one thing after another. But yeah,

(11:51):
I'm all all on board with trying to get something
dow then I we got there's a new bill out there.
Ted Cruz told me last couple of days he's not
for it to ask go through the Commerce Committee, but
we can executive order a few things individually that I
think would help. And so that's what the President and
I are working on.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
All right.

Speaker 3 (12:08):
Very good, well, coach. I appreciate you spending time with us.
Always good to check in and thank you for the
work you're doing.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
God bless you, buddy, Thank you. Jy see it
