The Cracker Barel Classic Logo returns

Joh We were talking about this earlier this morning with
cracker barrel and it's still in the news and everything's well.

You know, JT. They haven't put the logo back in
the old way. They've changed it again.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
Slightly hush, what are you talking about now?

She don't uncle Hersha's still there with the barrel, okay,
but the word crack in the word barrel in the
old logo. Yes, they the rs were capital rs. They
made them lowercase rs. Now I'm offended.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Look as long as herschel and the barrel are back,
I'm good and you can do whatever. But you know,
initially when this woman and the CEO there came with
these changes, I don't know what was in her mind.
I don't know what their motive was. You know, they
have this DEI person that's on their board and that's
his background, and his agency ad agency that he has
is all about that. And it just stunk to the

conservatives that this, you know, DEI woke board and CEO
coming in and changing an iconic brand that has no
reason to be changed the fact that we're going to
do it because golly, this is what new CEOs do,
and we're going to just make some changes.

And I think we were looking out it the same ways,
like when they took Uncle Ben off the Uncle Ben's
rice and ain't Jemima off the pancake mix and the
Land of Lakes the Indian off the Land of Lakes thing.
I think that was probably the difference.

Well, I got to tell you it was a bozo move,
and I got to give it to her. She kind
of owned it and came back and said, okay, all right, fine,
we won't change it. Then they went back. Uncle Herschel
is back, and so is the barrel at Cracker Barrel.
They've already changed some of the interiors and maybe they're
gonna put some of that stuff back up on the
walls that made Cracker Barrel what it was. I would
have gone in another direction, perhaps, maybe change some menu

items if you want to freshen things up. Put some
lobster in that mac and cheese, or you know what, better.

Keep the country Ride steak there. That's what I go for.

And don't touch the corn bread and biscuits. I mean, golly,
they're so good. Well, here's Uncle Herschel in honor of him,

I thought this was really odd. Can my delivery when

door cams and stuff where the Amazon people will come
up and then they'll fix something on the porch and
you know, arrange something that's not good or pick it up.

Or you noticed it wasn't the US Postal Service, that
was the Australian Postal Service.

same service here in the States.

Here's a good news stories we wrap things up. A
guy near Vancouver dug through twenty tons of trashes local
dump to find his wife's wedding ring. How cool is this.
Here's Steve and his wife talking about the waste management
situation with the worker. They're talking about the findings.

I said, out and go to the dump in the
morning and ask them if I can go through the
compost pile. My brain was trying to figure out a
way to tell him to go buy his wife new
wedding rings.

And it was all slimy with popcorn and butter.

She basically broke down crying, Well, yes, because I know
how much he loves me that he's.

Willing to go to rotten, stinky compost. Well, they got
it all back and there's that ring found, that wife's
lost ring. I mean it was gone for a long time.
