Speaker 1 (00:00):
Joining seven Brown and Fox correspondent. What's happening with the
president and you know the growing conflict now it seems
between once again no not in Israel and guys, no
not putin In Zelenski in Russia, Ukraine, in Latin America
and Venezuela never really been one to be trusted down there, Evan,
good morning, welcome in. So what's going on with President

(00:21):
Trump in parts of Latin America now?

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Well, the President, i think, is a believer in the
old school Monroe doctrine, right that this this hemisphere belongs
to us, and if you are on our team, we're
gonna we're going to be good to you. And if
you're not on our team, we're really going to come
after you. And in this case, Venezuela and to a
degree Columbia are really not on team USA. Especially Venezuela.

(00:46):
Maduro is the second in a line of communist leaders.
You know, they like to use the term socialist or whatever,
but they're communists. They are power hungry, brutal dictators him
and Chavez before him, and they are complicit Venezuela in

(01:07):
the illicit drug trade, which has cost the lives of
countless Americans. Over many decades at this point, and the
President is putting them on notice. You've seen the President
using our very powerful US military in the Caribbean to
destroy the vessels used to run drugs to our borders,

(01:29):
often coming from Venezuela. Yeah, and the President I think
has more than more more than once I laid down
the law for Nicholas Maduro on many different topics having
to do with him dispatching his undesirables to infiltrate our
border as well as the drug trade. And so I

(01:50):
think the President is continuing on that path and setting
the tone.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
You know. And because of this, the cartel has decided
they're just going to put bounties on border patrol agents,
ice agents and anybody that has anything to do with
interrupting our drug situation here. But the President ran on
cleaning up our borders, cleaning up the crime in our cities,
and the war on drugs. The fentanyl that was coming

(02:16):
across this border was an open and open field. It
was just insane, the amount of drugs that were coming
into this country. And with the intel the United States
gathers and Pete Hegseth involved in making decisions along with
the President's blessing to blow these drug boats out of
the water. You know, I'm one hundred percent on board
with it. There are people going, where's the due process? Well,

(02:37):
this is a war on drugs. We have a military
operation going on to protect the citizens of the United States.
So when these guys start popping back and putting threats
out there, it just seems to be ramping up even more.
And that feeds the socialist left in this country. You know, oh,
we got something else to protest here. You know, the
President's just blowing people out of the water for no
reason whatsoever. How does he even know those are drugs

(02:58):
on board? You know, it's it's just feeding the beast internally.
And it's certainly, you know, ramping up the conflict between
our president and folks in Colombia and the cartel and Venezuela.
So is there any movement whatsoever to discuss on the
other side that hey, we've got to come to some
type of agreement here are they completely at the opposite

(03:20):
ends on this?

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Well, and you bring up the idea of people complaining
about due process, and some of that's coming from the right.
By the way, is often these America only types as well.
Here's the thing. Due process is the right afforded to
Americans and to a degree non Americans that are here legally,

(03:41):
does it apply to the enemy at which we are
at war? Right if we are really to have if
we are really to be on a war footing against
these drug cartels, that means we're not treating them as
breaking our laws domestically, we are treating them as enemies.
And you know, we spent many decades at a supposed

(04:03):
war on drugs that the argument could be made, didn't
do a darn thing. But this is a real war
on drugs or rear against the drug cartels anyway, and
you know we don't really give a true due process
to our enemies. I mean, you know, you could ask
the question, does the Geneva conventions apply in that case? Well,

(04:26):
maybe they do if you capture them, but you're supposed
to kill them first, right, right.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
It's the enemy, and it is a war on drugs.
And you know what, this is a get or done
kind of president fa Fo. He comes down here and says,
as he's on this campaign, I'm going to fix this.
I'm going to get after these drugs coming across our border.
Here you know, other presidents have been like, Okay, let's
discuss it, let's watch it, let's make some arrests. Okay,
we're working on it. We got this. Oh look, here's

(04:52):
a big table full of drugs and stuff. Aren't we
doing good. Trump's like, no, they're in the water. We're
blowing them out out of the water, and we're going
to put it all over social media and it'll be
all over the news. So these people get the message.
Trump is not playing around. And I like the fact
that he's not taking any crap from these people that
are ruining in this country here. So I said, get
after it, President Trump. Keep going. Finally somebody with the

(05:14):
nads to do it instead of just talk about it.
All right, Evin, thank you, buddy. I appreciate you.
