woe to those who rise early in the morning to
run after their drinks, who stay up late at night

Speaker 4 (01:23):

this job. You can also watch if you'd like to
(01:46):
see an old man stand at the microphone, you can
watch on YouTube. Look for Uncle Henry Show on YouTube
and see it live. Now once again, here we are together,
me and you, trying to figure out what is going on,
What is going on? What is going on in the
world around us. Every time I think I've figured out
what might be going on, it makes me even more angry. Yeah,
(02:07):
but still trying to figure out what's going on in
the world around us. Now, if you want to call
the show, you can two five one four seven nine
two seven two three. Whatever you want to talk about
two five one four seven nine two seven two three.
Email address Uncle Henry at iHeartMedia dot com. That's Uncle
Henry at iHeartMedia dot com. Now, many listeners of the
Uncle Henry Show are interested in the mayor's race. We
(02:30):
have a runoff in the mayor's race. The vote for
Mobile Alabama will be September twenty third. The two candidates
you have to choose from or former Judge Spirochairguidis and
the current Alabama Representative, Barbara Drummond. Those are the two candidates.
Now today there was a development. There's a development in
(02:52):
the mayor's race that I find how do I characterize it?
It seems it made me laugh when I first saw it, it
made me laugh heartily. And now I'm just now I
don't know what to think about this. It just doesn't
seem to make a lot of sense. But I'll share
(03:14):
with you. You can find coverage of this at lamyakmobile dot com,
the local paper here lamyakmobile dot com. The development today
is that Barbara Drummond has yet another high profile endorsement
endorsing her for mayor. And her high profile endorsement today
(03:37):
is former US Secretary of Transportation Pete Buddha Judge.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Pete Boudha Judge has.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
Endorsed Barbara Drummond for Mayor of Mobile. And we all
know that this is important because if anybody in the
country knows what's best for Mobile, it would certainly be
Pete Boodha Judge. Now he let's see. According to Lamyak,
he made a video statement where the former Transportation Secretary
(04:10):
Pete Buddha Judge said, quote, Throughout my time in public service,
from Sir Megga's mayor of my hometown in Indiana to
serving the American people of Transportation Secretary, I have seen
the power and importance of strong local leadership. And that's
why I'm proud to support Barbara Drummond from Mayor of Mobile.
From her work in city hall to the Alabama State House,
(04:33):
she has led and she has brought millions home for infrastructure, education,
and public safety. In this campaign, she has put forward
a convincing agenda to tackle crime, to improve basic services,
and to grow opportunity in every neighborhood. Barbara believes in
showing up, listening and delivering results. So there's your endorsement
(04:57):
from former USC Terror Transportation Peepe Buddha, judge of state
representative Barbara Drumming from mayor of Mobile. Now, what I'm wondering.
One of the things I'm wondering is does she really
want to win this? Do you really want to win this?
(05:18):
Another question would be did you think this would help?
Speaker 5 (05:21):
Did you?
Speaker 4 (05:21):
Does anybody in the Barber Drumming campaign really believe that
this is going to help you get votes in Mobile Alabama?
Having Peep boota judge endorset. Now, let me point one
thing out for you, just just something that occurred to
me and I looked up this. I looked this all
(05:44):
up here just a few minutes ago. Now you may
know this, but Mobile's voting population, I think it's a
little over half African American, a little over half black.
So certainly if you're going to win an election of Mobile, Alabama,
you might want to pay attention to those concerns. Now,
(06:09):
listen to this stat This is about Pete Buddha, judge
who's just endorsed Barbara Drummond. Emerson College did a poll
in June of this year to try and figure out
who would be good candidates for president of the United
States for the Democrats in the In the recent polling
(06:32):
from Emerson College June of twenty twenty five, the polling
indicated that Pete Buddha Judge has zero percent support among
black voters as a hypothetical candidate for president. Zero, not
one percent, not five might feel good to have seven
(06:58):
or eight percent. Pe Booter Judge polling at zero among
black folk polled by Emerson College. Now Kamala Harris, she
got thirty percent in that poll, but lack of support
among black voters with Buddha Judge. And people have commented
(07:23):
online that write all these articles about this stuff saying
that he has he has struggled to connect with this demographic.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
So I mean, is this a good endorse?
Speaker 6 (07:40):
Is this?
Speaker 3 (07:41):
Does this move the who does this move the needle?
Speaker 7 (07:44):
With?
Speaker 3 (07:45):
Does this move the needle for anybody?
Speaker 4 (07:49):
A former Biden doesn't help win a mayor's racing mobile
to get former Biden administration officials to say that they
think you're going to do a great job. Just wondering
all these things, don't I don't know that these endorsements
(08:12):
are are going to work out, uh as I mentioned yesterday,
Barbara Drumm. It also gets the endorsement of the Mayor
of Birmingham, which is ranked as like one of the
ten worst places to raise a family in the United
States according to wallet hub dot com. Maybe there are
(08:35):
maybe there are better endorsements that can be gotten, but
get Peete Buddha Judge not not the best endorsement. This
(09:04):
says the Uncle Henry Show here on news Radio seven
ten WNTM. It's five twenty news headlines coming up in
ten minutes right now, got callers waiting to talk on
the telephone two five one four seven nine two seven
two three. The telephone number two five one four seven
(09:24):
nine two seven two three email address Uncle Henry at
iHeartMedia dot com.
Speaker 8 (09:31):
Hello caller, Thank good to you though Henry.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
Cliff Cliff, you are live on the radio, Uncle Henry.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
He must have been talking about Miss Connie Hoodson because
if he wanted, uh, miss Drummond to win.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
Oh, that's just that's sort of that that perverted fellow.
That's just like the devil. You asking the devil to
speak to guard for you on your death bed.
Speaker 4 (09:59):
Now now, By the way, if you just turned in,
Cliff is talking about the former Secretary of Transportation, Pete
Buddha Judge today has come out and endorsed State Representative
Barbara Drummond for Mayor of Mobile Pete Boudha Judge.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
Cliff, Yeah, endorsement from a full fledged perverb. What I
wanted to talk about up here real quick here. Yes,
the Democrats are telling black folks that they don't like
them no more.
Speaker 8 (10:28):
What ain't no crimes?
Speaker 1 (10:32):
Fifty people get shot. I checked you about around by
all the other states, these blue states they got that's
happening in a few others of their states, and it's
a lot of it going on. But they studied telling.
Speaker 6 (10:46):
You the people.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
They're supposed to be for the people, but they're telling
you no help, let them die. Seemed like to me,
there ain't no crime. This fool up here in New York.
He gets up there every time and say crime is out.
And it's like last week, between last week and this week,
one hundred and fifty people got shot and twenty five died.
(11:08):
But there ain't no crime, right, And that's what they're
saying all over the place, like like black people are
stupid if I mean, it's got to be some really
stupid people in the world are black, you know, fus blacks.
I know they're waking up, but the Democrat Party shouldn't
even get five percent of their votes for what they're
doing to them in their face. You have blived again, Cliff.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
Thank you very much for your phone call. You have
a blessed day. Two two five one four seven nine
two seven two three. That's two five one four seven
nine two seven two three.
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:41):
Somebody when when a community has that many shootings in it,
and and and somebody comes in and they want to
help you patrol those streets. Most people would would. If
you're afraid to go out of your house because you
might get shot or robbed or something. I think you're
gonna you're gonna want whatever help you get, wherever it
comes from. You'd think that'd be the way it is,
(12:04):
But I guess it isn't. I guess it depends on
who the help comes from. Two five one four seven
nine two s two three The telephone number, Hello Color.
Speaker 8 (12:15):
Hello, Hey Henry. How's it going man, Steve?
Speaker 3 (12:19):
Steve, you are live on the radio, Yes.
Speaker 8 (12:22):
Sir, I mean I concur with uh with your last caller.
His name is just flew away from me. Cliff. Cliff, Yeah, Cliff, Yeah,
I concur with him. I think it's a simple decision
that we have to do. If you vote for a
Democrat for your mayor, your your city is going to
descend into a ghetto driven hell hole where the criminals
(12:45):
are let go and anyone who defends themselves is suddenly
the criminal. And we just you know, I mean that
that's not the city we want. Even if you know,
people who have voted Democrat their whole life are fooled
into believing that. Once it happens, all of a sudden,
they're like, oh, well do something. Somebody's got to do something,
(13:07):
and they're like, sorry, we you know, we don't have
to do anything. We won the election. You know we can.
We can, we can do what we want to do.
And that's exactly what they do. They always are very
soft on crime. The Democrat mayors are always soft on crime.
You're always wondering, how, you know, how did this person
get out of jail? They they they kill somebody, but
(13:31):
yet they're walking free until their trial. Or you know,
they rob ten people, they got ten ten arrests on
their record. Why are they walking free because some some
liberal judge, under some liberal mayor and and some some
liberal prosecutor will let them out decided. You know, they're
not really the problem. Trump is the problem, you know,
(13:54):
a Christian of the problem, hunters of the problem. And
it's just exactly one hundred and eighty degrees out of phase.
So we have a real choice. Although I live out
in the county now, so I'm one of those people
that you like that have an opinion about the city politics.
But yes, really voted.
Speaker 4 (14:13):
Yes, those are my favorite calls about the mayor's race.
Speaker 8 (14:16):
Yes, but the citizens of Mobile you have a simple choice.
You can either have a city that is somewhat decent
and driving, or you can have a ghetto hell hole
where crime is ramping in the streets and nobody is
willing to do anything about it, and the few people
(14:37):
that do stand up they're the ones that are put
in prison. So that's your opportunity. So I would say
my endorsement, you know, and Booty Judge, I mean, I'm sorry,
but you know i'd be like Stone endorse me. Man, Yeah,
keep that under your hat. Man here in Alabama, I said,
(15:00):
you vote, you know, and if I was running in
San Francisco, let be one thing. If I was running
in Los Angeles or Chicago, let be one thing. But
here in Alabama, man done. You know, you can just
you can admire me from afar, but don't speak up
too loudly about it. But all these all these Democrats
just think that they're big stars, and they're rock stars,
(15:21):
and that, you know, anything that they say is so
much more intelligent and worldly than what actually works in government,
what actually works for the for the United States, and
what actually works for the people. That's, you know, just
just what I've seen in my sixty short years on
this planet. We've always had a better go when they've
been Republicans in charge.
Speaker 4 (15:43):
Well, and this you bring that up, and this is
this is the mobile Municipal elections are supposed to be nonpartisan,
as you know, and it's been rare.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
I'm trying.
Speaker 4 (15:55):
I've been trying to remember back if there have ever
been big Republicans or Democrats offering endorsements in the mayor's race,
because I can't remember a bunch of people coming in
and doing endorsements like this, like the mayor of Birmingham
doing an endorsement the former Senator Doug Jones doing an
(16:15):
endorsement of Barbara Drummond the Democrat mayors I forget the
name of the organization, there's an organization of Democratic mayors
out there that have endorsed her. So lots of very
partisan endorsements for what is supposed to be a non
partisan election.
Speaker 8 (16:33):
Yeah, well, we we all know that's not the case.
And we all all also know that the Democrats are
desperate to get their foot in any little municipality, anything
to try and try and steymy the make America great again,
which I still I still have have trouble wrapping my
mind around what is so bad about that slogan? What
(16:55):
is so horrible about making America great? I mean, why
is that just the most horrible things the Democrats have
ever heard? And there have been politicians, there have been
Republicans that have been way more right wing than than
Donald Trump, but they acting like he is just the
second coming of Adolph and.
Speaker 3 (17:14):
Well, it's all emotion.
Speaker 4 (17:16):
It has nothing to do with actual real history, and
it's all emotion. But look, I gotta go to the break.
But Steve, thank you for Colin still looking forward to doing.
Speaker 3 (17:25):
A show, Yes, sir, there he goes.
Speaker 4 (17:28):
Steve Make It Stick is his YouTube channel where he
talks about knives. There is more Uncle Henry's Show after
the news break.

Speaker 4 (18:36):
You can two five to one for seven nine two
seven two three. That's two five one four seven nine
two seven two three. Email address Uncle Henry at iHeartMedia
dot com. That's Uncle Henry at iHeartMedia dot com. Well, see,
(18:57):
I do have some voicemail messages to get to if
you just tuned in. I mentioned at the beginning of
the hour that there was a development in the Mobile
Mayor's race, and that is that Barbara Drummond. State Representative
Barbara Drummond has another high profile endorsement that was announced today,
and the endorsement came from former US treasure Transportation Secretary
(19:19):
Pete Buddha Judge. Yeah, Pete, but now, I don't know
why you'd want this endorsement. But she's got Pepe Buddha
Judge's endorsement and the mobile's mayor's race. And I pointed out,
now I looked it up. They did a poll in June.
Emerson College did a poll in June to ask who
(19:40):
the Democrats want to be the next presidential nominee. Now,
Kamala Harris got like thirty percent in the poll Emerson
College poll. Pepe Buddha Judge, according to that poll, got
zero percent support among Black voters, zero percent among black
(20:05):
voters for Pete Buddha Judge to run for president. So
I don't know is this was this a good idea?
Was this endorsement worth it? Does it look Does it
look good to all?
Speaker 3 (20:16):
Right?
Speaker 4 (20:16):
Anyway, back back to whatever else we're going to talk about.
Two five to one four seven nine two seven two three.
That's two five one four seven nine two seven two three.
Let me go to the Uncle Henry Show voicemail and
see what kind of messages have come in today and overnight.
Speaker 10 (20:33):
Hey, good afternoon, Uncle Henry.
Speaker 3 (20:35):
This is RT.
Speaker 10 (20:37):
Yes, Yeah, I was thinking about Mayor Stempson and one
thing I really liked about him is he didn't get
very involved in national politics. He I believe he's been
mayors since the Obama administration, so he's had a a
(21:00):
few terms of presidents. While he was mayor, he maintained
his focus on the city of Mobile. He didn't even
involve himself very much in state politics, and I think
that was one of his best qualities and probably why
he's leaving office considered a success. But anyway, the last
(21:25):
thing we need to do, I believe, is a lack
of mayor that's going to get involved in national politics
and start taking on Donald Trump. So hopefully we don't
do that. And the only one that makes comments like that,
and I've heard it on your show is Bulbar Drummond.
(21:47):
So we need to be careful. We need to focus
on Mobile. Anyway, have a great day, made football go
better this weekend, roll Time.
Speaker 4 (22:00):
Thank you very much for your phone call. I appreciate
hearing from you, appreciate the role time.
Speaker 3 (22:05):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (22:05):
And you make the point about national politics and mayors,
and we've all seen a lot of the really big
city mayors get very involved in national politics. But at
this level, you you make a good point because cities
like the size of Mobile, cities any size, really really
(22:26):
want to get federal grants. And so if you if you,
if you're attacking one prisoner or the other, or or
complaining about one presoner or the other, and you're still
still trying to get all these these federal grants to
build this and build that, and it just, uh, it's
(22:48):
probably harder to ask for that money when you're also
deeply critical of whoever might be in charge at the time.
Just just something to think about to find I have
one four seven nine two seven two three is telephone number.
That's two five one four seven nine two seven two
three email address. Uncle Henry at iHeartMedia dot com. Got
(23:09):
another voicemail about the mayor's race.
Speaker 3 (23:14):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (23:14):
This one is from longtime caller Buford.
Speaker 5 (23:19):
Hey, well, Henry, let's hear mayor will runoff. Thing I
like about Spiro's Harry gottis the thing I like the
most about him is he still has a small chill Green, Henry,
the small chill dream live and go to school and
mobiles here will be making decisions that benefit his chill
(23:42):
dren that will also benefit all the mobile's chill dream
They got a fella looks at life and makes decisions
differently when he has small chill dreen versus when he
has no children.
Speaker 6 (23:54):
Or at all growing up.
Speaker 5 (23:57):
Thing I don't like about Barbara Drummond, Henry, she's the
Martian Communists. I guess it comes down to this. If
you're an he'll vote for Barbara Drumming. If you're a
freedom of an American, you'll vote for Spiro anyway, Henry,
I sure do hope to dad you communists Democrats stay
(24:20):
home that day we have a barber Drumming may Orielship boo.
It'll be just as it'll be worse than Sam Jones
b Bell will be going down the tubes at light
speed for the good old injection of Marxist communism to
(24:43):
help us down there anyway, Henry, just something to have
people putting their pipes to smoke. Think about it, come
and run off election.
Speaker 4 (24:57):
You have a good day, all right, Thank you very
much much for your phone call. By the way, if
you'd like to leave a voicemail message. Maybe you have
these thoughts in the middle of the night. Maybe you
have your best thoughts at two or three in the
morning and nobody's awake to talk to you. You can
leave me a message. Two five one two one six
nineteen seventy six is the number to call. That's two
(25:18):
five one two one six, nineteen seventy six to leave
a message for the Uncle Henry Show.
Speaker 3 (25:27):
Now, let's see, uh, I think I got.
Speaker 4 (25:29):
Time for another message in this segment of the program.
This is another one I believe about the mayor's race.
Speaker 11 (25:37):
Yes, Henry, maybe you can help me understand something if
if a certain person gets elected mayor here in Mobile,
is Mobile going to move in direction of becoming a
sanctuary city? Just wondering what you think about that. I
(26:00):
know one person of the Democrat Party that might be
trying to make an impression on them and show them
how responsible they are to the Democrat Party. So I
thought maybe they might want to try to move Mobile
in the direction of becoming a sanctuary city and to
(26:21):
stand against Trump. Okay, just wondering, hope not, but we
never can tell, can we?
Speaker 8 (26:31):
Bye bye?
Speaker 4 (26:32):
All right, sir? Thank you very much for your phone call.
I don't know about somebody trying to make Mobile a
sanctuary city.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
It's hard to now.
Speaker 4 (26:43):
Of course, I don't know the future. I'm not an
oracle and I have no occult abilities. I don't converse
with demons, so I cannot see the future. And I
don't have any type of weird mind reading ability, so
I can't read people minds, so I don't. I have
no indication that Mobile is going to become a sanctuary city.
(27:05):
It's hard for me to believe that anybody would do
that at this juncture for this city, because it would
be just a spectacularly stupid thing to do. You can't
It's hard for me to imagine any politician doing it
here locally.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
But you never know. You never know, but we'll keep
our eye on that issue. Sir.
Speaker 4 (27:24):
Thank you again for your voicemail. Voicemail number two five
one two one six, nineteen seventy six to leave messages

five one four seven nine two seventy two three.
Speaker 3 (29:11):
Hello color.
Speaker 6 (29:14):
Uh Glenrie, how are you?
Speaker 3 (29:16):
I'm good John, John, how are you doing today?
Speaker 6 (29:20):
Oh? I'm doing great, good.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
Well.
Speaker 6 (29:21):
First of all, I'm all in for u Spiro. He's
going to make a great mayor. But people have to
realize how radical drumming it is. She is going to
make Mobiles sanctuary city, which will really hurt the black
population in the labor market. She's already talking about annexing
(29:42):
Big Creek Lake, which she's already voted to close. Okay,
she's going to bring back the penny tax you know
from the old Sam Jones years, which is a just
suppresses the economy and bad policy, the road blocks or
coming back to especially in areas that didn't vote for her.
(30:05):
But just the idea that she's so tied at the
hip of the to the radical National Democrats and their
extreme views. Uh, it's it's it's very dangerous that she
even has a legitimate chance of winning this election. So
all I can say is everyone in Mobile who just
(30:28):
wants a better city for all of us to vote
on the twenty third and not for her. Thank you, sir,
I hope you have a nice, nice evening, well.
Speaker 4 (30:38):
Say, I hope you have a nice evening as well. John,
thank you very much for your phone call. I hope
you have a nice evening and a pleasant tomorrow as well.
John to find one four seven nine two seven two
three the telephone number. That's two five to one four
seven nine two seventy two three email address Uncle Henry
at iHeartMedia dot com. That's uncle Henry at iHeartMedia dot com.
(31:01):
And I have not heard wherever. I haven't heard all
the interviews that she's done, so I haven't heard the
talk whatever talk there is about sanctuary cities, I have
not heard that yet. So and feel free if you
want to email me about where I can find that
Uncle Henry at iHeartMedia dot com. That's uncle Henry at
iHeartMedia dot com.
Speaker 3 (31:21):
But the the.
Speaker 4 (31:24):
Democratic mayors see these endorsements, as I mentioned earlier, the
endorsements she's getting. I'm trying to figure out why she
would want these endorsements, because I don't think they help
you get votes in a mobile mayor's race. Now, I
(31:44):
may be wrong, if she wins. That'll be one indication
that one of the many indications. I don't know what
I'm talking about, but getting Doug Jones to endorse you,
or the Mayor of Birmingham to endorse you, or today
Pete Buddha judge, that is almost I just can't I
(32:09):
can't imagine wanting that endorsement. It just doesn't help. But again,
may be wrong on this. We'll have to all wait
and find out. And I mentioned earlier that she also
has the endorsement of the Democratic Mayor's Association. The Democrat
they endorsed her. The Democratic Mayor's Association endorsed Representative Drummond
(32:36):
August fourteenth, and I was on their website where they've
got this announcement where it says DMA endorses State Representative
Barbara Drummond for mayor of Mobile, Alabama. Then at the
bottom of the page, it's directed me to the next
page and it says the next page is Democratic Mayor's
(32:59):
Association halls out Trump's attacks on Washington d C. So,
I mean, does this help? Is this gonna move the needle?
