Yesterday, Stace Azura & Charlie caught up with One NZ Warriors player Marcelo Montoya ahead of tonight's game against the Gold Coast Titians. Stace breaks the new to him of a near milestone achievement he's about to hit without him even knowing. Plus, of course the inside scope into how the boys are feeling ahead of tonight's game.

That's right, our One New Zealand Warriors take on the
Gold Coast Titans.

It's gonna be a game and this is why I
love the NRL.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
We know that the Gold Coast Titans at the bottom
of the table, but anything could happen, right, It's gonna
be a good So that's the thing. Last time Titans
actually beat the Warriors up unexpected money.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
And joining us from the One New Zealand Warriors. We're
very lucky to have her here this morning. Marcelo Montoya Mortner,
we're good.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
Thank you, brother busy man. Thank you for fitting us
in there. And we see that you're actually edging towards
an awesome milestone of fifty tries in the NRL, right
am I?

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Yes, too many tries? We are? You've forgotten.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Hey, you're up to forty six, so.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
You're four away, four away hopefully.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
Yeah. That's awesome. Yeah we could break it too, thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
That might be this weeking break for Trice.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
That'll be nice to be call up.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Some Yeah, I like that. So playing on the Gold Coast,
I mean, last time the Titans were here, that was
a bit of a shock, like, well, I don't know
what happened then they just grew extra legs. But what
do you reckon in the Gold Coast? How is it
playing over there?

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:27):
For sure, I thought last time I reversed. I thought
we started the game real as well, but obviously just
fell off the water back end. And it just goes
to show you that you can't really sleep on anyone
in l this year. So the competition's right up there.
But look, going over there, it's always nice sitting over
there and seeing our fans over there as well, because
you know, we had a big, big following over there

(01:47):
in Gold. Yeah, it's nice to head over and hopefully
get a win.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Yeah, proper home away from home. And you know what
is the focus for this week's game?

Speaker 4 (01:59):
Yeah, for sure for us, it's about, you know, where
we started last week, to keep that kind of same
flow that we had and just play that for eighty minutes.
You know, we can't. We kind of want to go
out there and have lapses up with you last week,
and I think you know, we've trained really well we're
training roll the last time of six weeks. So look,
we're looking forward to heating over. But the big things

(02:19):
for us is getting the job done. So yeah, that's
that's that's our main goal for us. You know, obviously
Roger's massive for us, so you're looking forward to seeing
him step some people and bamboos with him with his footwork.
So now I'm kean that I was having on.
