Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's the Flavor Podcast Network.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
You're listening to Staycissura and Charlie's off the record, off
the record.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
It's good off the record for every reason because we
don't take this talk on radio. However, this is the
platform for the hot costs.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Yoh, it's exclusive. You can only get right here on
the Flavor of Breakfast podcast feed and Charlie Today. I
want to get your opinions on this. This is going
hot on TikTok at the moment. Yeah, what are your
thoughts on using wash cloths in the shower because there's
all these people trashing on it saying wash materia, they
accumulate mold, especially in New Zealand climate, Like, what's your

(00:42):
thoughts on that?

Speaker 1 (00:43):
I think people have just gone technical like over the
over the years, Like, let's take it back, Okay, back
in the days, nobody was using body wash. Everybody was
like using soap, to be honestly, you know, now it's like, hey,
don't use the soap, it's not good for your skin, all.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Of this blah blah blah.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Use Like honestly, maybe in a few years time people
are gonna say the same thing about body wash. Yeah,
you know, now people are saying that about washash cloths,
but I used to use that, like back in the days.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Bro. My parents were so like on and hard on
me about using a wash cloth because you need you've
got your soap, right, yeah, your soap bar or your
body wash, but you need something to like push it
in so the skins to get the dirt eggs.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, because what's the other one
they have now, it's called the loofer? The loofer yeah,
and it could be a bit rough on the skin.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Yeah, especially with that string that they can get on
the skin. But the wash cloth I'm using, I don't
know if you can relate to this from the two
dollars shot. And it's that neon colored. It's like rectangle
and shape and like it's hard like an exfoliating what
do you use like stealing? So that's the hair. This

(02:04):
is that cloth that I use and I use it
with my soap or if you cast it back to
the olden days, I think it's called a gawanga. Yeah. Yeah,
the coconut call belly ah, so the dried coconut husk
used that as kind of like the natural loofer on
the skin. But people saying that if you leave it
there because it's got water on it, somehow it will
build bacteria. I think that's a bunch of rubbish.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Man like people are just gidding. I don't know who
who's making all the stuntens up, bro Like. I feel
that there's just a bunch of people sitting around a
table and just thinking, hmmm, how can we convince people
like these these wash toils are getting like like, you know,
accumulating all the bacteria from the water and all this,
you know, I feel that it's more just a way

(02:47):
of them pushing it out and bringing something else and
you know what I mean exactly.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
And I'm thinking, Okay, I'm hearing all this talk about
wash class to do all they got bacteria and that
is why it's more hay uli. Yes, that's why your
guys pillowcases are sweet bumpsticks. And that is the four
and one on the worst Class.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
I want to hear more of and Charlie. Catch them
weekday mornings from six or listen to their daily show podcast.
